ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! We came just to grab some slices and I'm so glad we did. The service was great. Slices were ready super quickly. We ordered 8 different slices honestly don't even remember all of them, but I LOVED the elote and the spicy chicken one. The flavors were amazing! It is street parking and the store is small with a few tables inside and outside!

One of the best pizza places in the metropolitan area. Surely one of the best, if not THE BEST pizza places in Burbank. Down the street from where we live, it's become an almost weekly occurrence. Long week - Weirdough's, long day - Weirdough's, rainy day - Weirdough's. I sometimes even stop in for a slice on my way home from work. Service is phenomenal and the ambiance is the neighborhood gem vibe.

Got 2 slices of the Plain and 1 slice of the Brooklyn Square. The pizza was outstanding. The pizza sauce had a well balanced tomato flavor. Good quality cheese for the right amount of gooeyness. The crust for the Plain slice was thin and very crispy. The crust for the Brooklyn Square was also crispy and had a nice chewy texture. Service was friendly and prompt. There is limited seating inside and a couple of tables outside. Parking is available along the street.

I'd been hearing about Weirdough's ever since moving to L.A. & FINALLY decided to stop by yesterday evening to satisfy my pizza craving. The restaurant is cute n' quaint, warm & inviting...merging the traditional Italian pizzeria feel (e.g. gingham tablecloths, the signature brick wall, vintage photos, etc.) with quirky accents, like Weirdough's eye-catching deck of curated question cards placed atop each table. It was fairly busy, with a group of patrons dining on the sidewalk & many customers ordering take-out inside. I was promptly greeted by a young lady at the register then made my way to the pizza display counter, where I stood for a while just in awe of all the unusual (dare I say "weird"?) albeit delicious-sounding offerings of gourmet slices. Stuffed Philly cheesesteak pizza, anyone? After realizing that I couldn't possibly make up my mind, I decided to play it safe because no one has ever gone wrong with a slice of classic cheese pizza! I also ordered some freshly baked garlic knots for quality assurance purposes ;) A smiling lady soon approached me from behind the counter & invited me to sit as I waited for my order. She was the owner & we ended up having such a pleasant exchange. Daniela told me that her husband makes all the pies & by the way she raved about her family, it was evident that she's extremely proud of the business they established in 2020. She was so genuinely sweet, kind & curious-something I'm not really used to experiencing here yet-and made me feel seen. Yes, I was just stopping in to get pizza, but her personality stood out for me & it was clear that she really values her customers. I couldn't WAIT to chow down & before I could even open my car door, someone was ready to take my prime parking space. So I left as quickly as possible & headed down the street...WHERE I DEVOURED MY ORDER IN MY CAR because there was no way I could wait until I got home; everything smelled so amazing! The pizza was piping hot & truly tasted like an authentic slice of New York-style pie that I love & miss. The crust had the right balance of crunch & chewiness, the sauce was perfectly seasoned (not one-dimensional or acidic) & the cheese was cheesin' big time! I knew it was whole milk, full fat mozzarella because it was so stringy...something we should all expect on any self-respecting slice. Then I dived into the garlic knots. Holy cannoli, they were SO pillowy soft & yummy, I almost forgot that there was a giant container of sauce in the bag! All in all, I can't wait to return but must remember to only wear pants with an elastic waistband for my next visit. Until then, I'll give Weirdough's a follow on Instagram!

Me heading to a live taping of George and Mandy

I came upon Weirdoughs Pizza on an afternoon ride from Woodland Hills to Burbank. Being I had a little time to kill before going to Warner Brothers Studio for a live taping I decided to give this pizza shop a try. Now understand, being a recent transplant from Nu Yawk City, I am kinda a pizza snob comparing any pizza to the pizza I enjoyed my entire life back east. First, entering the shop with a few tables inside and outside the place presented itself very clean. The counter had a display of the various offerings and styles. Greeted by Alessandra, (btw, I was smitten by her high cheekbones and smiles adoring her pretty face. And no, it did not affect my review) her attention to service and attitude was top shelf. Now for the goods. I ordered a slice of pepperoni which had panetta vodka sauce, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and pepperoni. I also ordered a slice of sausage which had on it their homemade sauce, mozzarella and sausage. FANTASTICO! This is the closest pizza I've had outside of NYC that mirrors the great slices of my former residence. Weirdough's is a definite recommend. The service, the storefront, and most of all the pizza that comes up to my standards for great pizza. I will be back.

Great service and good food. I really enjoyed the Chicken Park pizza and pur Margherita Pizza was great too.

I've taken a few pizzas home since the first time I went and they haven't been as good at home. Soggy and too heavy for me. They also don't have delivery and they are closed sundays which I find weird for a pizza joint. I'd recommend going there when they share open and having a slice rather than ordering a whole pizza.

Left to right: The Red Light, Garlic Knots, Bacon & Fig Slice

Last Tuesday, my family & I got dinner from Weirdough's Pizza. There's only street parking and we quickly found a spot across the street. We arrived about 40 minutes before closing and there were a few parties dining, but it wasn't busy and we didn't have to wait to order. It's a casual spot and would be good for small groups. However, we didn't stay because we got takeaway. We ordered a whole pie of The Red Light (~$37) and a slice of the bacon & fig special of the day (~$5.50). The crust was tasty and the sauce was kind of sweet for both pizzas. I preferred the bacon & fig special slice because it had a nice balance of sweet & savory toppings. I thought The Red Light was more savory, albeit a bit wet from the pepperoni oils and hot honey. The staff also gave us complimentary Garlic Knots with a side of red sauce, and these were aromatic, pillowy-soft, and delicious. Although the food and service were good overall, the prices deter me from visiting again soon, especially when there are many pizza spots around town.

Well, if you like toppings, this is the place for you. They have everything- fig and bacon and all kinds of other things. I only wanted a couple of cheese slices. They made a new pie since they didn't have any plain on the counter. I'm guessing that a plain cheese slice is not the reason you come here. They were very accommodating and it was fresh and delicious. In New York there's always a cheese pie on the counter. I'm beginning to learn that the LA go to is toppings and more toppings. My brother had a pepperoni which he said was quite generous both in the size and the amount of pepperoni pieces. He was happy. I would recommend this as a place to go if you are a lover of toppings.

    The Las Vegas pizza
    Wayne W.

This place has a truly unique name, which suits its pizza slices very well! I ordered the Las Vegas slice, which was essentially a loaded baked potato on a pizza slice. Surprisingly, it was really delicious! The garlic knots were a great addition. The staff were very friendly, and it turned out they were from the east coast just like me. I'll definitely stop back in Burbank the next time I'm there!

I visited Weirdoughs for the first time today and the unique slices definitely lived up to the shops namesake. The inside is small, but it's packed to the brim with pizzas I've never even thought of. I order two slices, but only got through a slice and a half. Both the Pastrami and Las Vegas were very tasty and stacked high with toppings. Between the two, I enjoyed the Las Vegas more by just the tiniest margin. The pastrami meat was great, but my decision is based off the cheeses. I've always been a big Guere fan, but the Gorgonzola on the Las Vegas was new to me and it blew my mind. I also ordered a slice of the Stuffed Philly Cheesesteak, but ended up not going through with it once I saw the total. The three slices were just under $30 because the Philly is $10! I paid about $18 for the two and still felt like the meal was overpriced until I started eating. For one person, a single slice offers plenty of quality and food for the price! My experience at Weirdough's was different than any other pizza shop I've been to. As of now, I highly recommend this spot for anyone interested in trying some "weird" pizza. I'll be back to try their more traditional squares and slices to see if they're also worth recommending! Las Vegas Slice 8.9/10 Pastrami Slice 8.8/10

Great pizza, great service, fresh toppings Ordered pepperoni pizza with add ons olives, and jalapeños Fresh jalapeños good spicy kick. Pizza sauce was perfectly spread on the pizza, cheese was perfect amount, toppings was enough to make you taste the cheese and pizza sauce. Crust was thin and pizza it self was thin which made it better than having all pizza dough. Garlic knots are good. To bad they don't have more options for appetizers

I drove all the way from Inglewood to try them out. I specifically wanted to try the sausage as they make it homemade and I've seen a lot of good reviews about the homemade Italian crumbled sausage. The cashier was friendly. My biggest issue was that I was told the Italian sausage pizza just came out the oven but it was cold. When I opened up the box I saw the slice had a lot of sauce and barely any cheese. When I ate the pizza it was so cold it seemed as though the pizza just came out of the refrigerator and not the oven. I couldn't eat it because I was out and didn't have access to any way of heating it up. Anyway I called the store and the cashier said she would refund me for the slice and she apologized. She in fact did refund me. I did have three other slices and they were all good. But like I said I specifically came for the Italian sausage pizza and was very disappointed that i couldn't enjoy it.

The pineapple is fresh - not canned like you usually find on pizzas - and it's sliced suuuper thinly, so it's still crispy. Then there's smoked ham and Applewood smoked bacon on it, and honey! We got the thin NY style & seriously, I'd come back just for this. We also tried the Detroit style Sweet Gino. We wanted to like this just as much, but it was too bready for us. If you like a puffy thick crust, this one is actually light - not as heavy as others. And the sauce is very good. Since this is the only place I have ever seen that uses fresh pineapple, & their Hawaiian is so good, I will definitely be back!

The spread looked impressive on the table, and the presentation alone earns points. The Focaccia was a standout -- beautifully topped with pools of fresh mozzarella, bright tomato sauce, and fragrant basil. Light, airy, and full of flavor. The Detroit style was equally impressive -- thick, crispy-edged crust with sauce ladled generously on top and finished with fresh herbs. Both were outstanding and absolutely worth the trip. The New York style was loaded -- we're talking pepperoni, sausage, olives, cherry tomatoes, and roasted peppers piled high. Visually, it's a showstopper. But flavor-wise, it didn't quite match the excitement. It was good, just not distinctly different from what you'd expect at a chain. For a chef of Tony Gemignani's caliber, the NY slice felt like it was coasting. One consistent issue across the meat toppings: extremely salty. It was noticeable enough that we were reaching for drinks throughout the meal -- whether that's intentional or not, it's worth flagging if you're watching your sodium. Overall, come for the Focaccia and Detroit -- they're the real stars here. Skip the NY slice unless you're curious, and budget for drinks.

Because this was a…read moremulti-occasion encounter & therefore, there are multiple interactions which I need to state in order to be fair about the review I'm leaving. I placed an order for two pizzas which my boyfriend picked up. There were no issues with that. In fact, the pizza looked great in all honesty. My family of 3 are avid pizza lovers, so if we like a pizza, we will continue to order it over & over & be lifelong customers. I go through phases, & I will eat at one place until I miss another type of food. Minded, we don't eat out everyday, but perhaps once a week, every week-with the exception of when we find a good Mexican restaurant or Italian restaurant & we will go there on the weekly basis. (And then we alternate, but admittedly, we eat a lot of food. ) I also have a degree in restaurant management, so I know how to talk to customers. I know that when a customer leaves upset, that's never a good thing. They should always leave happy. When you run a restaurant, you should touch every table, ensuring your guests' happiness. Should a customer leave upset, they will never come back & tell all their friends about the horrible experience. You should never have an unhappy customer, regardless of how great you feel your food is. It's all relative. Everyone's taste is different. However, this behavior, well, it's repulsive. The pizza was quite expensive, (Over $50.00 for 2 pizzas, but they were "XL") and when my BF brought them home, they LOOKED good. I don't think they were stingy on the amount of ingredients, and we paid for/ordered both pizzas with a thick crust. Because I'm trying to be as fair as possible, I am mentioning all the possible "pro's" I can so it isn't a one-sided review. and unlike many places who call a pizza "thick crust" when it's really just "regular pizza", the pizza here was actually decently thick. So VISUALLY, it looked acceptable, but TASTE wise, well, that's a whole other story. And it gets worse after this, I swear. My boyfriend is the kind of man who will eat just about anything. I have accidentally burnt his toast when making breakfast, and he saw me going to throw it away to make better toast. (It was REALLY BURNT) He grabbed it from me and happily ate it claiming, "I love it like this." You could bring him the wrong plate at a restaurant, and he'd happily eat it. My teenage son, who is almost 20, (19 is barely a teen, but old enough to eat a good amount, and he's not even a little bit picky.) This is just a bit of important background, so you understand the severity of the bad taste issue. All three of us sat down to eat, and my BF gave everyone each A slice. My son would normally eat half a pizza if he had been hungry enough, and after working all day, he was definitely hungry. My son ate most of his slice, and I noticed he did not go back for seconds. I don't think he even finished the crust. My boyfriend did the same, and the slices were small. So, this XL pizza probably had about 6-8 slices per half. (For context, SBARRO has 6 slices for their XL entire XL pizza, making each half only 3 slices.) I took a bite, and I spit it out and discarded it in my napkin. When no one wanted more, I put my piece back in the box, and saw that the rest of the pizza in the box had not been touched. By morning, it was the same, and that is NEVER the case, not even with subpar pizza places which we'd never order again.
