We came for date night and had an amazing time! The restaurant has that classy moody vibe with a live DJ. We had reservations at 7 PM on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy, but we got there 30 minutes early so we sat at the bar while we waited and enjoyed a cocktail. The bartenders were super welcoming and nice and the bar had a beautiful display of various liquors. I will say that the cocktail menu is very small and limited, but they expressed they could basically make anything. I had an espresso martini that was made to perfection with the perfect amount of foam on top. When we were seated at our table, the hostess gracefully placed our dining napkins on our laps. Instead of serving bread and butter, they serve three different types of french fries with their designated, specially curated, dipping sauces. For our appetizers, we chose the steak tartare (served with potato chips. It was good, but I felt like it needed a little more oomph, and I wish it had a raw quail egg on top to help make it creamy), duck spring rolls, Caesar salad (we had it with anchovies and it was well balanced), jumbo shrimp cocktail (they were seriously so massive and perfectly cooked), and of course, a dozen oysters (the chef's choice of the day was from the East Coast and they were perfectly cleaned and nicely sweet). For dinner, we had the 8 ounce Black Angus filet mignon, the roasted half Mary's chicken and two side orders of grilled half main lobster. The fillet was cooked perfectly to a medium, rare and iron crusted on the outside. The chicken was both tender and flavorful. And the lobster was grilled perfectly and drizzled with truffle butter *chef's kiss*. For our sides, we chose the lobster mac & cheese, creamed spinach, mashed potato purée (just deliciously whipped and creamy), and crispy brussels sprouts. For dessert, we chose the Ube basque cheesecake, and the Creamsicle shaved ice. Our first choice was the shaved ice, but our waiter suggested the cheesecake and we were so happy that we ordered it. It was both light and decadent at the same time, not too sweet and had a slight tartness from the huckleberry compote. From our cocktails that kept flowing all night, to the amazing food, and especially to our amazing waiter, Mike, we had such a beautiful date night! I highly recommend you choose Bourbon Steak for your next date night, and then enjoy an after dinner stroll at the Americana.

If we could afford to eat here on a regular basis, we would. We have literally never had anything here that we did not like, and obviously, they are known for their steak. Absolutely delicious, and always great service. Very high end, romantic atmosphere.

One of my favorite restaurants in the LA area, the food is consistently excellent, the fries are unmatched, and the ambiance is classy yet relaxed. I really wanted to give 5 stars, but unfortunately this was probably the worst service I've ever received here. We had a Saturday night reservation but decided to sit at the bar instead since it was pretty dead. Restaurant for a Saturday was surprisingly slow. DJ was great setting a smooth vibe. However, the two male servers seemed like they absolutely dreaded being there. One was bartending and clearly busy, but the other, acting as the server was very low energy, forgetful, and extremely slow with everything: bringing drinks, taking our order, checking in, and even dropping the check. The highlight, as always, was the food. The oysters and fish were incredibly fresh. The octopus was overcooked this time, which is unusual for them, so I'll give that a pass since it's normally great. What really stood out (in a bad way) was hearing the servers openly bad mouthing their manager after she came over to speak with them. It just created an uncomfortable atmosphere and took away from what should have been a great dining experience. This is an amazing restaurant with fantastic food, but service like this makes you reconsider where you want to spend your money for a full experience.

visited another location of bourbon steak in glendale. unfortunately this time our experience was underwhelming and the food was subpar. the onion dip was cold, the burger was unsalted, and the quality of the meat used in the cheesesteak was not giving wagyu, tasted more like boiled meat. i will say the only memorable part of this meal was the lovely bartender megan who checked up on us, otherwise the service was mediocre for a high end steakhouse.

Swung by for their daily happy hour and loved it! We ordered an assortment of dishes but my favorites were the chicken liver mousse toast & Philly cheesesteak sandwich with waygu beef. The only thing that could make it better is if the Philly cheesesteak took was served with some hot & fresh shoestring fries. Great service & ambience overall. Will be back soon to try more on the happy hour menu!

I recently visited Bourbon Steakhouse in Glendale, the day after Valentine's Day to avoid the craziness , although you could still feel the after-effects of the holiday. That said, our experience was fantastic overall. The service was spectacular as always, the vibe was great, the drinks were on point, and the food was excellent. The only minor downside was that because of the Valentine's rush the night before, they had sold out of most of their steaks. We ended up choosing the Australian Wagyu cowboy steak, and honestly, it did not disappoint. We paired it with Brussels sprouts and mushrooms, both were delicious! For appetizers, the octopus is an absolute must. Their Caesar salad is also great because it's not drenched in dressing, which I really appreciated. Drinks were solid across the board, I kept it simple with a bourbon, my brother-in-law had their Old Fashioned (with a very cool presentation), and the ladies enjoyed the Lemon Drop and the Frequent Flyer. It is a bit pricier than I personally think it should be, but overall still a very solid choice if you're thinking about dining in Glendale.

Our dinner started off on a sour note thanks to the hostess, who had a pretty bad attitude. Definitely not the warm welcome we were hoping for. But things turned around once we were seated. Our server was fantastic. Super attentive, friendly, and just made the whole experience better. He was awesome, and I genuinely liked him. The prime rib Philly cheesesteak was packed with flavor very rich, savory, and very filling. But the real star of the night was their waygu burger. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. Juicy, perfectly cooked, and just phenomenal. I'll be going back just for that burger. It was that good. Also, absolutely delicious duck fat fries crispy, golden, and addictive. The space itself is nice, elegant without being stuffy. It's upscale but still feels comfortable and inviting. Polished vibe that is enjoyable. Happy hour here is great, and parking's really easy since it's at the Americana. All in all, despite the rocky start, I really like this place. Can't wait to come back.

Our second time here and we came for happy hour this time! My bf and I ordered: - Bourbon Burger (4.5/5): Little bit greasy but such a juicy and delicious burger that is well worth the happy hour price. Comes with the dill pickle fries that are delicious. Got the burger done medium rare and it came out perfectly cooked and not too pink. - Prime rib cheesesteak (4/5): Flavorful but the bread to meat ratio felt a little off. Difficult to eat because of how cheesy and saucy the dish was. Perfectly balanced with the inclusion of the mustard and slaw on the side. Thought it was a really good twist on a classic cheesesteak. - Tempura Maitake Mushroom (3.5/5): Loved the creativity here and how meaty the mushrooms tasted but something felt lacking? It felt like it needed to be paired with something else - either another dish (so as a side) or another flavor element or texture. Overall (4/5): Note that happy hour is actually from 4-6PM daily, not 5-6PM. We got there a little before 5 on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet but quickly began to fill up. Wish their trio of duck fat fries on the menu or we should've asked before ordering because we miss those!! Service was friendly. Happy hour prices make this an excellent place to stop by and check out.

We shared the Brussels sprouts and fillet mignon, so tender!

The service, Food!! And Ambiance are all top notch!! I highly recommend Bourbon Steak! Elegant yet comfortable. A delightful treat!

The food has really gone down hill at their LA location and in the opposite direction of the high prices they are charging for it. I ordered a New York strip steak medium rare in prime grade because they don't even offer dry aged in this cut even though they charge $84. My steak was tough and almost half of it was so fatty I could not even cut it. The restaurant didn't even comp the entire steak off the bill. The rest of the dishes were pretty pedestrian including The Shrimp Cocktail, Ceasar salsad and Chocolate peanut butter cake. For these high prices there are better places to spend your money To add insult to injury several hours later I had the runs!

Hands down some of the best food & service I have received. Making reservations was easy via Open Table. I got there & was seated right away. Such a beautiful restaurant! I came here for dineLA & the food was exceptional! I ordered the Truffle Hamachi, Wagyu Sirloin Cap, & for dessert the Melba. While waiting I got complimentary fries with 3 dipping sauces - adobo bbq (not to sure about the name cos i didn't really like this one), truffle aioli (loved this one!), & ketchup. I also got complimentary Tomato Tartar which was part of the dineLA First Course. It had burrata, lemongrass oil, & balsamic. Such a great one bite appetizer to get your taste buds going. One negative I do have with the Tomato Tartar was that I tasted minced bell pepper with the tomato. I'm not a fan of bell pepper, so that kind of threw me off. I then got my Truffle Hamachi. Ice I saw this in the menu, I just had to get it. Truffle is my favorite! This appetizer had cucumbers, truffle ponzu, & green onion. This meal was very light from the hamachi & cucumbers, then you get that umami, earthy taste from the truffle. For my entree meal I got the Wagyu Sirloin Cap, which on the menu says it comes with baby zucchini, salsa verde, & potato pave. I questioned the waiter about the salsa verde as I was expecting a blending type of salsa but I thought I'd try it anyways. The salsa verde actually turned out to be more of a chimichurri style. And the zucchini came with two small bite sized pieces. I wish there was more because it was pretty tasty. The potato pave was really good. It reminded me of a fancy style hash brown. And for the star of the meal - the Wagyu sirloin. I enjoyed the meat. It sliced like butter & just melts in your mouth. My only negative was that I didn't get some fatty & chewy pieces that seemed inedible IMO. For dessert, I got the Melba - panna cotta topped with peaches, raspberries, & a raspberry sorbet. It was light & refreshing. Not overly sweet nor heavy & it was a great end to my meal. I would definitely recommend this place & would come back to try their other delicious items on their menu!

We ventured in to take advantage of the Happy Hour at the bar, and it was also 1/2 off select wines, so it was a fantastic value! Of course, the vibe was great! It's beautiful inside and service was great from hostesses, to bartender, John, and especially from sommelier, Matt, who all took great care of us! The food was delicious. We tried their exclusive cheese and charcuterie platter, a tuna crispy rice and a cheesesteak. Loved it! Another stellar experience!

I had the best experience at Bourbon Steak a few weeks ago! So grateful to have an amazing work team as they treated me out here :') We ordered the tomahawk, black truffle Mac and cheese, soy-mirin glazed mushrooms, and much more. My favorites were the truffle Mac and cheese and the tomahawk. I am a steak and wine connoisseur and absolutely LOVED this experience. I will 1000% be back :)

Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" We would have been happy to overlook the slow service and enjoy a long, relaxed evening catching up with friends--until the end of the night. After we had already paid our bill and were in the middle of dessert, we were abruptly and quite rudely told we needed to leave because they were closing.
