All the workers were super sweet & helpful. The wait is a bit long if you go during rush hour but honestly not more than 20 min & they have seats for you to wait comfortably which I loved. Its sea food so it's definitely pricey. It's a really fun and unique experience & I do think everyone needs to try it at least once! They have different flavors & spicyness levels for everyone to choose from so you'll be able to find a combo that works for you.

My favorite shrimp place in the SFV! Hands down. The decor is so cute. They have plenty of TVs and a full bar. We came during lunch right when it opened. The gentleman at the host desk informed us about their card policy. Which means you either need to leave your ID or a credit/-debit card before you can order your food. This is the first time I've encountered this at any restaurant but I can only imagine the amount of "dine and dashers" they have had to deal with before implementing this rule....soooo I'm not mad at it. It was pretty quiet. Except for the music that was playing in the background. The music was not too loud, which I appreciated very much. Our server's name was Jaclyn. She was very nice. Very professional. Non wonder she was one of the employees of the month. ;) My daughter and I ordered the head on shrimp. With all three sauces, mild. We also ordered calamari and a side of jasmine rice. I've ordered the calamari before. And it's always been great, but today the calamari was very tiny. Good flavor but I felt the portion was pretty small considering the price. I also enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with it very much. Shrimp was cooked to perfection not overcooked at all. The sauce was finger licking good with the perfect amount of spice. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. I will continue to make The Drunken crab My Cajun shrimp restaurant of choice.

Can't beat a great seafood boil, and this spot just can't be beat. They got your seafood in a bag with whatever choices you want to add. Pick your sauce and your spice level. I recommend making the meal Louisiana style because it adds some goodies into the bag, like corn and sausages, and getting their house sauce. *licks finger*; I can literally taste it right now. Also they got beer and margaritas to complement your meal. They also got some great appetizers; the calamari is a good choice, but my favorite are the wings. Let me tell you, boy, these are better than that local chain down the street, Stopwing? You know what I mean. These wings smack hard! I love the whole theme and atmosphere here; everyone is so nice, and the tables are covered in a white paper-type of thing that the kids can draw on. They are giving crayons, and they go crazy. Good kids menu as well; they do have non-seafood options for them like nuggets and mac and cheese. Wait times can be a pain, though, and they do have this weird policy that they must hold a credit card. Guess too many dine-and-dashers have occurred here. It's okay, not a big deal, and they let you use whatever card you want at the end. I came for my birthday, and they gave me ice cream with a candle and a crab decoration; it was kind. Our server was really nice. Recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good seafood boil place.

    Best waiter there. Hands down.

Meche is the best waiter I've ever had here!!!! I have shared my very horrible experiences on yelp before with Drunken Crab but he just made this place a regular. Please only give me Meche as a waiter from now on. He was funny, kind, and the customer service was amazing. Little loud, but nothing too serious. Great Friday dinner, thanks Mec

Friday night and place is busy! It was worth the wait...amazing way to end my week. Loved the dries, trick is to wait and dip it into the Cajun sauce!

I'm a regular here, so it might seem like I'm biased! But the truth is.. when you have amazing service, delicious food and a hype environment, why wouldn't you want to keep coming?! The bartender Manny was such a great vibe! Checked up on me often and took care of everything in a timely manner. The manager was polite and brought me my clams. I sat at the bar today. Tvs were on ESPN 2 and I enjoyed every minute of my meal! Thanks TDC for always going above and beyond! 2nd to none!

I had my first visit to The Drunken Crab in North Hollywood, and it was nothing short of amazing! I ordered a pound of the Dungeness crab Louisiana style, paired with a refreshing mojito and a side of sourdough bread. The flavors were incredible, and the food exceeded all my expectations. the sausage the two corn and the two eggs were just chefs kiss!! What truly made the experience unforgettable was our server, Mache. From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. His warm demeanor and exceptional service elevated our dining experience. It's evident that Mache is a dedicated and hardworking individual who takes pride in ensuring guests have a memorable time. If you're planning a visit to The Drunken Crab, I highly recommend requesting Mache as your server. His outstanding service truly sets the bar high. Thank you, Mache, for making our first visit so special!

Which is the best sauce? Thanks

Drunken special is their best sauce but you can also try garlic butter👻

Can someone tell me what's the difference from here and boiling crab?

100 times better than Boiling Crab....service is amazing! Super friendly and attentive!! Miracle & Steffanie are by far the best bartender I've encountered 🤘🏽

Does this place have lobster rolls?

I don't recall seeing those on the menu. Mostly just seafood steamed and placed in a sauce. Their drunken crab Cajun style is really good on king crab.

    Has anyone gotten food poisoning?

Can't speak for others but my husband and I have been there often and have never gotten food poisoning.

That's what I enjoyed (as the operative word) upon our first visit, several of their happy hour bites: Jazzy Wingetts, Jambalya spring rolls, the corn maque choux, and the catfish bites with remoulade sauce. I came for the spring rolls, and they delighted our dinner-ready appetites. It was indeed the most memorable components of a Jambalaya plate, inserted in a wrapper made crispy - which I think made all the difference. Each bite was a morsel of crunchy, greasy goodness. The cabbage chaser and dipping sauces on the plate made the rolls just right. Everything else tasted good for the happy hour, Dodgers broadcast vibes - shout out to the Stubborn root beer from the fountain! But it was mostly just good value for two people. I think I could learn to like the Voodoo wings but they ate a little salty. We appreciated that they were served with fries that we didn't pay extra for. We don't really do sports bars, but that does not mean we can't change our approach to our Clippers fandom. And MGT, being quite local, could be the worthy home that feeds us for not that much. We'll take the $50-ish bill all day.

We hadn't visited since February, 2020. Before the pandemic might as well have been 10 years ago, if the world shut down 6 years ago. We were overdue for a followup visit. Judging by how the food went down, we were sore for it. We ordered the Big Tex: four meats and four sides - tri-tip, brisket, pulled pork and links; kale greens, bbq beans, mac and cheese and fries. We opted for the cornbread in the roll slot. It should be the top meats in your order, by premium scale and availability, but more often than they should be, the brisket/tri-tip selections are, 90%, obligatory orders. I think I have a love/hate relationship with the way LA treats the pepperoni pizza of bbq meats. Swinging Door broke us off proper though. Not too fatty. Great tenderism. And the accompanying sauce complemented the smoked all stars, rather than compensated for lack of flavor. Didn't stop me from loving their Whiskey bbq sauce though. The beans were a true bbq side, swimming in a mild sauce and containing lovely chunks of link. And the kale greens - sheesh - I think they might've switched to kale since our first visit. An effective exercise in alternative ruffage that holds seasoning and jucies for a similar bbq/soulfoud bite. We live further away now. Took the food to go, to prevent the intermittent rain from foiling more of our plans. It traveled well. And since I'm using our leftover bbq sauce on every other meal I cook, I'd say we successfully made do with our lunch substitute.

Take-out only, and after getting everything home and spending about $84.00 for 3 meals, I was salivating in anticipation. The cornbread muffin was my first sampling. A bit on the sweeter side but moist and delicious. Potato salad? A no, a big no, way too bland. Then I tried the Mac & cheese, something most BBQ spots never seem to get quite right. That was the verdict for this very dry side here as well. So what about the Tri-tip? They were completely out of their Brisket by the way, other than their burnt ends. And that wasn't much to speak of. Nor was the Tri-tip minus the sauce which is given on the side. The sauce was up to par. The only protein that was pretty decent was the chicken, even the breast was moist and tender. But the cornbread, sauce and chicken weren't enough to save this sinking ship. The wife and I also shared a side of their way too watered down, and poorly seasoned yams. Rather mushy with we guessed way too much maple syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar, and who knows what else. I don't believe we finished any more than half of our sides. Just all around disappointing and we definitely won't be back.

Thankfully we finally caved in because we've been sleeping on this place for years! It's located off of Lankershim Blvd & Academy Way, basically next to the Laemmle Noho 7 and the Saban Media Center. Bruxie was kind of hard to gauge on how to order - there's a walk-up window for ordering and pick-up orders, but employees can also walk right up to you and place your order for you. You can also order online ahead, so yeah slightly confusing but as long as you put your order in you're golden. They have four big tables outside along with counter seating on the sidewalk. If it gets too hot or cold, they also have seating inside an old train car that is purely counters only. We sat inside the train car, but the only caveat is that people are constantly going in/out and they sometimes leave the door open. They also have a water station inside the train car if you want to cool off. My wife and I both ordered the Kickin' "Nashville" Hot Chicken Sandwich and we shared the Loaded Waffle-Cut Fries. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time - if you're dining there, the employees bring out your food wherever you are and provide plastic utensils along with sauces. The hot chicken sandos live up to their namesake, packing quite a kick! The loaded waffle fries hit the spot. If you're in NoHo looking for some good chicken & waffles, Bruxie will satisfy! We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! They're open late too if you have some late night cravings (they close at midnight Thurs, Fri & Sat). There's street parking or you can park at the garage of the Saban Media Center.
