My family and I have been coming to Little Ocha for years!!!! Even when they were on Victory Blvd. It's so nice to see the same staff still works there. They make you feel welcomed, taken care of and appreciated. The place is amazing! It's always packed but worth the wait for sure. The food is impeccable! Amazing! Delicious! One of a kind! You definitely won't be disappointed! We even brought friends here and they always crave Little Ocha. I will say the place is a little smaller than the one they had on Victory Blvd but the service definitely makes up for it; it won't ding them for a star. They definitely worked hard and deserve all 5 stars, even 2 more because this restaurant never fails to keep their customers happy and satisfied. I've been coming here with my family for years. We always get the seafood soup, steamed rice, mixed chow mein, mixed fried rice, drunken noodles. It's always delicious. I imagine I will be coming here for many more years. Customer service is a hit & miss but lately it's been pretty good. I hate this parking lot. Had been here 1 time years ago and food was great. After looking at reviews I decided to give it a shot again but worst mistake of my life. Customer service was horrible from the beginning. We had to remind them twice that they skipped us to be seated. Food was bland with just scraps. Seafood soup had no shrimp and as we asked them they brought us 2 shrimps just warmed up. I've been coming here off and on for years. My favorite menu item is the shrimp chow mein. The Seafood soup is always so yummy and refreshing. I recently visited the restaurant walked in, asked for a menu and sat down. While I was sitting down, waiting to order, I saw an employee digging in her nose and then proceeded to pluck her booger from her finger. When I brought this to the attention of my server and asked who it was, my server mentioned that it was the owner and not to worry because owner did not prepare the food. Despite her not preparing the food, the fact that is was right by where the food was being prepared I was super grossed out. When I asked if she could be asked to wash her hands since she was right by the food, plucking her boogers from her nose, I was told that my order would be canceled if I was concerned about her digging in her nose. Rather than having her wash her hands, the only option that was offered to me was to cancel my order. I can only imagine what's actually occurs out of the customer site if this was being down in plain site of the customers. The servers proceeded to speak in their language, laughing, and the owner still did not wash her hands. I left feeling disturbed by the lack of hygiene in a business that serves food and also the disregard for customer Service. No food is worth being sick because of poor sanitation and nasty staff. From the moment we walked in, the cook made a rude noise because they were about to close and there was still an hour to go. I have been eating at this place for some time now, and at least once a month, when my son comes down to visit, I order online and pick up my food for us to enjoy at home. Been going to The Ocha since I can remember. We decided to go for Pad Thai. When we entered we were seated promptly and had placed our order within minutes. The place was clean and I really liked the decor. While we wait we ordered seafood soup which is always a classic. My favorite part is the calamari inside. For some reason the calamari was very hard. Well of coarse it did we got out soup and right away got a foul smell of chicken and my friend tasted it but no it was old meat.. OLD MEAT! I asked the waitress to smell it and she refused and said fine we will discount the rice just pay for the soup. At this point my friend and I didn't want to make a big fuse because we were tired. But it's pretty outrageous that they'd be okay we serving old meat that can send someone to the hospital. Thankfully we didn't eat it but for some they wouldn't know.. and can even cause death. I am think you guys should avoid this place at all cost.. or make sure the food is fresh. Consumer beware!! The only plus was that the server was super nice. I live super close to this spot, so if I'm ever craving a fish dish, this is my go to. Firstly their shrimp fried rice comes so packed in a container, I ate it for three days straight (not complaining I love leftovers). They are stingy with the shrimp though I'm not going to lie about that, but still so yummy. My family and I always share this curry fish that has like fried fish in a curry sauce and it is the best Asian curry I have ever had. This place is cheap, good and very reliable so 10 out of 10 in my books.
