Where do I start? First off is yes this is another one of my hole in the wall spots. I know, I know it's not a surprise. I have passed by this place too many times to count but today was the day. The pot stickers were great. They were perfectly fried and had a great crunch. However the main star today was this pork fried rice with their spicy soy sauce! I really wanted to love this place but I think it's just average at least with the pad Thai and the wontons. The staff is super friendly so it feels bad to even rate this place at 3 stars. I have been eating so much pad thai lately that I can notice more differences. I would describe the pad Thai as tasting a bit bland. I will say the coffee was amazing and I thought it was perfect. The pad Thai is usually a go to in seeing quality. I couldn't even finish the leftovers because it did nothing for me. It's lacking flavor and the chicken was very dry. This place has THE BEST pad-sew I've ever had! It's a hole in a wall spot and it seems to be a spot where people do take-out. Every time I come to pick-up, almost no one is sitting in. Parking is pretty limited. The family who works and own the business are very nice people. They are also very honest. I accidentally tipped $15 without realizing it and they asked if I meant to do that. Their mango sticky rice and steamed dumplings are very delish and to die for! However, I'm not a fan of few of their dishes like their skewers or Panang curry. I somehow feel like their dish is either a 6/5 or 3/5, hence the 4 stars. I don't typically "crave" Thai food when I'm in the mood for some sort of Asian cuisine, but after finding this spot I can full on say that I will be back. The Panang Curry with chicken was so flavorful, light and so comforting--and I ate this while it's 96° out, middle of the summer lol. The chicken Pad See Ew was great, along with the Pan Fried Pork Potstickers. The gentleman who took our order (owner, I assume) was very smiley and kind. Don't get deterred by how it may look on the outside, it's very welcoming and clean on the inside. In my honest opinion, this blows Anajak out of the water in terms of price, quality and convenience. I love Thai tea but can't have dairy and so she recommended a delicious alternative of that same tea with lemon instead of the cream and it was amazing!!!! The service is so fast and wonderful!! In my opinion, this is the best Thai in the valley. Delicious, prepared fresh and did I say delicious. I get the coconut curry chicken with a Thai iced tea and sometimes the veggie wraps. It feeds two people and is very fulfilling. On top of that, everyone who works there is so nice. read more

DISGUSTING! VERY POOR FOOD QUALITY!!!! I haven't left a Yelp review in awhile, but I feel it is my civic duty to warn others about this place. I got sick after eating this food and I don't want others to suffer the same fate. I got my food delivered. I never waste food but this was unpalatable. The "mixed seafood" in the Tom Kha soup was just huge chunks of rolled imitation crab that turned to mush in my mouth and tasted absolutely putrid! I can't even begin to explain how gross it was and how nauseous it made me feel to even have it in my mouth. I doubt the ingredients are even real. Other "seafood" (if you can call it that) in it tasted spoiled. I'm quite sure it was rotten. The fact they call it mixed seafood is laughable. It was sooooooooo GROSS I can't even begin with this one. Fake imitation rolled crab MUSH that was clearly expired. It tasted like botulism. Completely unpalatable. Apparently something in there is real tho because I unfortunately bit down on a shell fragment and I'm nervous I may have chipped one of my molars. :( There was NO SAUCE on the orange chicken. Just some grease on the bottom of the foil. Ew. I thought maybe the sticky rice would cleanse my palate of the filth I had endured, but it was utterly flavorless. I love sticky rice but this was just steamed rice hardened together. The worst "sticky rice" I've ever had. NOT sweet and moist AT ALL! Just congealed flavorless crap. Thai tea was good tho... the only thing I actually enjoyed so there's that. Though it is $1 extra for "light ice" and $2 extra for "no ice" which makes me so angry for some reason, I don't want to support a restaurant that nickels and dimes customers like that. It should have been a warning of my experience to come, but I still gave them a chance... So yeah, their cheap business practices match perfectly with their cheap terrible food. read more

I don't want to give this place 2 stars because of Covid, but I have to be true to everyone that reads this. This has got to be the worse Thai food I've had that I can remember. Everything dish that I ordered was overly salty and lacked flavor. My order consisted of Thai Tea, Tom Yum with Chicken, Tom Kha with Chicken, Red Curry Chicken & Pad See Ew. Total came out to about $60. I first took a sip of the Thai Tea. It was acceptable and tasted like your common Thai Tea, but a little on the sweeter side and I did wish it had a more Thai Tea flavor to it. The Pad See Ew was so salty and dry. I'm not 100% sure, but it tasted like they over seasoned the dish with soy sauce. It was not edible at all and the beef was on the dryer side. The Red Curry was anything but red. There was specs of red and tasted more like a Coconut broth with red oil mixed in. I didn't really taste the curry flavor at all. Again, the broth was on the salty and bland side. The Tom Kha & Tom Yum was also salty and lacked flavor. The chicken was also on the dry side. Both of the soups are not edible due to the amount of salt used on them. The Tom Yum was a little bit less saltier than the Tom Kha, but still hard to finish. I used to like this place when it was called something else. I remember a few years ago when they took over the Chinese fast food site and turned it into a Thai restaurant. The food was good then, but now that they have changed their name, it's not good at all anymore. I will not be ordering from here again. Hopefully the cook does a quality control on their food before sending it out to paying customers. There are so many Thai restaurants in the Valley that has way better tasting Thai food than this place. read more

Food was incredibly good! My first time having anything from this hole in the wall and they just got themselves a new customer. My family and I usually order Thai food from Spicy Lime in Encino but decided to give this place a try and all were very satisfied and full. Plus the prices are a lot more reasonable and plates are a bit more stacked. The plus side is that when I stopped by to pick up our food I noticed that all staff were wearing face masks and gloves. That made me feel a lot more comfortable knowing they're taking the precautions with the pandemic going one. They had one person handling the register, a cook and another staff possibly just helping out with orders. Will definitely order from this place again! read more
