My bf and I came here around 11pm and dined in. The food was good, but it was really pricey. When we sat down we ordered and we had to pay right away which I thought was odd. The experience dining in was a bit unusual. It is obviously a mom n pop restaurant but it was as if I was eating at someone else home. There was kids watching Roblox and walking back and forth and also a guy sleeping on the floor, and then the whole family started eating together meanwhile locking the door and only opening it for those who had pick up orders. Lol. I would probably go again but only for pick up orders. The ground pork and basil was delicious, the fried pork basil was good, and I would skip on the pad Thai (as it was wayyy too saucy). read more

way over priced, food is average, i ordered 3 different meals because the first one got me upset and wanted to try 2 more meals hoping it's better, it got worst, i thought the owner was nice, but their food still need a lot of improvement. i got charged for close to $80 for beef jerky, mee krob, and seafood soup, which all 3 were disappointments, only thing I could enjoy a bit was the jerky, but still very oily, nothin compared to others. I was nice enough to tip them but im never coming back, first week in NoHo, live and learn! read more

I'm not quite sure if the place is really open until 3 am but there is a sign that says knock loudly and the doors were locked when we came. We ordered the pad see ew, crab fried rice, panang curry, and mango sticky rice. Unfortunately when our order was brought out, the man who handed us the meal said that mango sticky rice was out of season and he no longer carried it which was fine. We ordered through Grubhub so we request a refund for that dish. The pad see ew was good, it wasn't too sweet or salty. The crab fried rice was ok. It wasn't buttery or had that much crab. The panang curry was very salty and had a liquify texture as opposed to a slightly thicker curry. Overall the guy was nice but I feel like the dishes were hit or miss. The location is next to a gas station. read more

decided to try this place out because it was open and was craving thai! Had a bad experience because The fact that we ordered our food first and then a second party comes in and they get their food before us is crazy. Pretty sure my friends card information was stolen from this restaurant yesterday. It was the only purchase they've made in a few days, paid with a debit card last night and this morning they had multiple fraud charges on their account. Not bad for a local Thai place that is open til 3 am everyday. One of my friends was craving late night food and didn't want any fast food. We ended up searching around and came across Thai Thai Cafe. This place seemed very promising. Located at a gas station, Thai Thai Cafe has a nice variety of dishes to choose from. I would honestly say they have a lot of items to choose from especially when people like us at a later time was hungry. We let our eyes do the ordering and had more food that our mouths can chew. We ordered Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, Egg rolls, and Tom Yum Soup. The egg rolls weren't the best and for my friend (an egg roll lover) didn't like it as much as she wanted. Pad Thai was lacking flavor. Chicken Satay was good and the soup was the best. Overall I think for the convenience of location and how late they stay open, its worthy of an option over fast food. Based on the reviews I had to come here but I was craving Thai food so I decided to order online. The wait time was expected to be 30 mins from placing my order but it was a bit longer, about 10 minutes more when I arrived. It wasn't a problem, I mean I seen there were only 2 people working so I understand especially during this Covid situation. But overall the food was very good. I simply got the Chicken Noodles but substituted with beef. My sister got the Phad See-Ew very good too. Also got the seafood fried rice, OMG that was so unbelievably delicious, it came with mussels, scallops, calamari, and shrimp. The food was different experience to what I had compared to other Thai restaurants I've been too but I'll definitely come again to try other dishes on the menu. read more

I tried this place ONCE years ago before the #CCPVirus/Chinese Communist Party Virus and completely forgot about it, always immediately ordering from KRUA THAI. But, Krua Thai has a phone and time problem. So.. I called in at 2:30am for PAD THAI (chicken) and PAD SEE EW (chicken). They are located in the cut, sharing the same lot as the ARCO gas station. I drove up and they have the front door locked with a mask sign, and only let me in to quickly pay and was told to wait outside. No problem, I hopped back in my car. When I went, I believe it was the husband and wife- wife took my money and made my Thai tea while the husband fired up the grill. Both wore masks from the time I went in until he walked to my car to give me my food. Pad Thai ($11.95) 5/5 *ORDER THIS* - Sweet, salty, tangy. It hit all the flavor notes a true Pad Thai should. I ordered it with chicken, yet it also came with small tofu squares as well. A LOT of white meat chicken, and it didn't taste "stringy" or cheap. It came with a mound of crushed roasted peanuts which was new to me, as well as very small slivers of red onion! These two new additions were complemented the flavors very well (for me at least). Noodles perfect texture with slight crunchiness from the sprouts in every bite. Pad See Ew ($11.95) 3.5/5 - Smokey and salty. This one was slightly different than all the other ones I've tried. In terms of ingredients, it had perfectly cooked flat noodles, LOTS of chicken, American broccoli (which I asked for), pretty much the standard combo. But it had a more distinct sauce flavor from it. It matched with the slightly charred chicken but I could tell either their distinct style of cooking uses more of something than others, or it was late so he put more than usual. Some people might find it too "Asian" tasting. I'd still order it again. Thai Tea ($2.50) 5/5 - HOMEMADE, the lady pours the black tea out of a large jug. Perfect color before and after you mix it. Not too much ice. Overall, I'm coming back here again. NO MSG, open until 3AM which actually matches their advertised time. Since it's made by one guy, I think you're going to get a more "homemade"/unique style- as in, he may have learned his technique from how a different part of Thailand makes their food. It may suit your taste buds way better than the bigger places or you may find it less appealing. Either way, the ingredients are good, they are handling this Communist Chinese Party Virus well. Don't hesitate! read more

We ordered from here the other night and every smelled and looked amazing. Until I put some of the Pad Thai in my food and then I look down at my plate and there it was crawling out of my food. A fucken BUG!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it and thought that I was seeing things, there it was. I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. if I could zero stars I would. We have ordered from here on Postmates so many times and every single time I say, "I need to write a review!". Finally, here it is. Simple: We LOVE this place so much! The food is always fresh and delicious! We LOVE spicy food, and so everytime we order out we ask for "extra spicy". This place is authentic, clean and fresh, and when you ask for spicy they will deliver!!!!! We are obsessed with the won ton soup, and the fried rice. If you ask for spicy, they will give you a little side tiny container of peppers in a tasty sauce...it's literally the stuff!!!!! Man, you will catch on fire, if you use it all. Found broken sharp plastic pieces in the food, seemed to be the teeth from a plastic fork. The owner screamed at us saying we put it there ourseles because he didn't want to refund the plate. He's lucky we didn't ask to refund the entire meal! We tried to be fair and considerate and got treated like villains. He's lucky nobody choked or got hurt. What a complete lunatic. Ehhhh. Just ordered the Tom kha soup and mango sticky rice. The portions are a good size, but the soup literally has 2 mushrooms and chicken and the broth...Tom Kia is not meant to be a bland soup..throw some more vegetables in there for the size and flavor..mango sticky rice has no sesame seeds, the rice is kinda too starchy and not balanced to be sticky and soft..it's just missing flavor in general. Not made with love. read more

Another Yelper commented that this place was lackluster. Well he nailed it on the coffin. First off, it was hard to find now since it's in a strip mall where all other shops are now permanently closed. Well at least you know parking is no longer a problem here unlike back in the days when you would be lucky to find a parking on the street. Ordered a noodle dish that was supposed to have duck. No duck flavor in the broth and it came out looking like ramen noodles instead of egg noodles and the broth was so bland. Usually, a Thai boat noodle soup would have a rich, beef, savory flavored broth with flavors of herbs and spices. This was bland and took a bit of "doctoring" up with condiments in order to make it taste decent. The beef pad see ew did not have that unique IFYKYK taste you would expect from cooking on a hot, fiery wok. We happened to be driving back home but wanted to get Thai food on the way home. What i should've done is drive a few miles further and ate at the Wat Thai temple. Everything we ate here cost almost freaking $85 dollars including a Thai iced tea and a Sprite with the colored syrup. Save your money and go to Wat Thai for a tastier, food experience.

The dish itself was mostly green beans with maybe 6 or 7 pieces of shrimp, and the shrimp tasted very basic. I also ordered the spicy beef combo plate, which came with steamed rice, but it wasn't spicy at all. I had to add a ton of chili just to get some flavor. The beef was probably the best part of the meal, but even that was just okay. Overall, I regret not checking the reviews beforehand because it definitely reflected the experience we had. I don't see either of us coming back.
