We absolutely love their mango salad! We even ordered for my mom's birthday. however , earlier today the consistency was different. I went to buy my to go. When I got home, the 2 jumbo Shrimps were not cooked well. I dint finish my seafood mango salad because the Shrimps were a bit undercooked. It was also soupy today. This is the first time that the mango salad I bought was soupy. Definitely not the same ones we used to buy every week. I wanted to go back to exchange but I'm already tired. I will go back next week to show the picture to them.

Spicy fried chicken with rice, was delicious. Would recommend if you like spicy food

Space seems clean, not too loud, intimate but open. It's good for going solo, with a date, comfortable with 4, and with up to 8 people (10 might be alright). I'd say 30-50 is their max capacity in here. Their customer service is on point, especially for this city, and they seem earnest in helping as opposed to squeezing every dime out of you. Prices are "LA" reasonable (not this one $ "cheap" like people say) meaning you're not walking out without dropping $18-20; I'd say $$ for anywhere else. I got the seafood curry with rice (make sure the rice isn't extra). Thai tea is good... it's Thai tea. Medium spicy is plenty for someone who likes some heat but wants no part of fiery heat. Beware ye who dislike spice - Thai food is spicy at its best. The fish doesn't seem to have bones, but I checked anyway. The bamboo spice is not exactly edible, if you catch my drift. Approach this place like you would in Thailand. That said, the food was delicious.

I tried their Pad Thai (with chicken), Green Curry (veggie) and Kao Pad with pork (Fried Rice). I thought their curry was overpriced for the amount and not serve with rice. Pad Thai was too sweet for me personally. And the Kai pad dish was just okay. Nothing really stellar that would urge me to come back and try it again. Sweet ladies working as servers and ambience is non existent. If you sit near the kitchen, you may get hit by the spices in the air and make you cough. Limited parking in the lot but nearby street parking can also be found. Bring cash. Cash only establishment.

Every visit feels nostalgic but also exciting because the food just keeps getting better. The pad see ew is perfectly cooked with great wok flavor, the pad Thai is balanced and satisfying, and the seafood fried rice is loaded, flavorful, and always hits the spot. And don't even get me started on the beef jerky--absolute must-order, packed with flavor and insanely addictive. It's rare to see a longtime neighborhood spot grow and improve this consistently. Krua Thai isn't just good for the memories--it's genuinely top-tier Thai food now. If you've been coming here for years or it's your first time, you won't be disappointed.

Both are more like a side dish than an entree though, because they are lightly salted so they will pair nicely with the entrees like the stir fries or curry. Thai ice tea also nice and not too sweet, so ask for less ice if you prefer a nicely sweet and strong thai tea. Service is friendly but be ready for a bit of wait for your orders to be ready. The place are quite big with perfect ambience for lunch or dinner with friends.

It used to be a…read moreplace that was open 24 hours and a spot you go to at 2-3am after a night of clubbing and drinking, when all other restaurants would be closed in the wee hours of the morning. Another Yelper commented that this place was lackluster. Well he nailed it on the coffin. First off, it was hard to find now since it's in a strip mall where all other shops are now permanently closed. Well at least you know parking is no longer a problem here unlike back in the days when you would be lucky to find a parking on the street. Ordered a noodle dish that was supposed to have duck. No duck flavor in the broth and it came out looking like ramen noodles instead of egg noodles and the broth was so bland. Usually, a Thai boat noodle soup would have a rich, beef, savory flavored broth with flavors of herbs and spices. This was bland and took a bit of "doctoring" up with condiments in order to make it taste decent. The beef pad see ew did not have that unique IFYKYK taste you would expect from cooking on a hot, fiery wok. We happened to be driving back home but wanted to get Thai food on the way home. What i should've done is drive a few miles further and ate at the Wat Thai temple. Everything we ate here cost almost freaking $85 dollars including a Thai iced tea and a Sprite with the colored syrup. Save your money and go to Wat Thai for a tastier, food experience.

Since this place popped up first and had "Thai BBQ" in the name, I saw BBQ and thought cool let's try. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from the very beginning. The service was not good. The server and I had trouble understanding each other, so there was definitely a language barrier making it harder to communicate. She also didn't seem familiar with the menu since she couldn't answer basic questions. Just ordering was very frustrating. The tables didn't look properly cleaned either, which I should have taken as a red flag. As for the food, it just didn't do it for me. The peanut sauce was extremely watery. The garlic short ribs were honestly the worst part. They tasted undercooked and not good. I took one bite and I didn't want any more. We ended up eating mostly rice just to feel full. The shrimp dish was also disappointing. When we asked for something spicy, we were basically directed to the chili already on the table. The dish itself was mostly green beans with maybe 6 or 7 pieces of shrimp, and the shrimp tasted very basic. I also ordered the spicy beef combo plate, which came with steamed rice, but it wasn't spicy at all. I had to add a ton of chili just to get some flavor. The beef was probably the best part of the meal, but even that was just okay. Overall, I regret not checking the reviews beforehand because it definitely reflected the experience we had. I don't see either of us coming back.
