Always a great experience at black angus. Justin is the best server and bartender. Super attentive and very charismatic. However, last I was there i had gotten a big glass for one of the seasonal margaritas they have rn. And it was delicious but I noticed that I was feeling something sharp around my finger and come to find out the glass was broken! I told the server (she was busy and seemed like she had a lot going on) about the glass and she didnt seem like she was worried/cared. All she said was "okay ill tell the manager". Then walked off. Lol. I wasnt happy with that cause hello....its a broken glass.. she should have gotten the glass immediately off of the table. Well anyways, I was able to get the manager and tell him about the situation and he took the glass and told me that a new drink would be made for me ASAP. Thank you manager! Again, I always go to black angus with my family. We always have a good experience but only maybe twice was it kind of an off experience when we have this certain gal server with glasses. All in all. Sat at the Bar, started with Happy Hour Green Apple drink & shrimp & beef quesadilla. Holy Shit, quesadilla looked good but was sitting in 1/2 inch of water from the lettuce garnish and the salsa juice. I forgot to take a picture of it. They re-ordered it, with salsa on the side. I told them it's not just the salsa, the lettuce water too. Manager ignored me and told me, 'don't worry' asked for everything on the side this time. It came out w salsa, guacamole, sour cream w side cups, but lettuce garnish was on the plate again with 1/4 inch of water, wtf?!? Told bartender it's all soggy again. She got manager again, he acted annoyed and said they'll redo it again, but no lettuce this time. Starving and waited 30 min before it came out right, and mgr didn't comp it, I felt he should've after all the bs and waiting for it to be done right. Ordered New York Steak Medium Rare, it came out Well Done. Corn Cob was in Lousy Shape, Big bite missing on the end, flipped it around, other side had spots of kernels missing all up n down that side. Baked potato dry hard & overcooked. Very disappointing quality control. Kitchen was not doing good job tonight, wasn't even busy this Tuesday Night. Manager acted annoyed again when he had to replace steak & corn. He never asked if it was better when replaced. Acted kinda like a jerk & didn't care his kitchen serving shit quality food. He never offered discount for all the inconvenience and delays I endured for things to be fixed. My friends and I died at black Angus Just this past Wednesday unfortunately, everything about this visit was pretty terrible. First, we were going to be a large party of about 11 or 12 individuals. We had no reservation. We didn't think that that would be a big problem considering when we got there at the restaurant was pretty empty except for the maybe eight or so people in the bar area. After waiting for about 10 to 15 minutes we were seated. We specified that we were going to be about 11 or 12 people. Tell me why our table was set for only nine people. Not just that, the teeny tiny corner that we were shoved into, there didn't seem to be any servers serving in that area at all. You could tell right away that they were not planning on providing any service back there. We ended up waiting for probably another 15-20 minutes. This time our table was in the bar area, not the main dining room room. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The one great thing about that is we were in view of the various TVs. There were a number of us paying attention to the baseball game. There were a number of us paying attention to the basketball game.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That all worked out. Thank God they had that distraction. Otherwise they would've been really super upset with the amount of time it took for any server to come and greet us or ask us for a drink order. It was quicker and easier for folks at our table to simply walk across the room to the bar and place orders there. Several of us had to do that. If we had not, they never would've seen their beers. Unfortunately, also kind of a pain, the server made a mistake in the bottle of wine that she brought for a table. We never ordered any reds. Only whites were ever ordered. Hmmm. Everyone at our table took their turn to order their food. The waitress started with me. I gave her the food order for my daughter. Then I proceeded to try and let her know what I would like to eat. You completely ignore me skip me and move on to everybody else. When she went ahead and repeated the orders, I went ahead and let her know that no, she had completely skipped me and did not take my order. That of course caused the big problem for her. She no longer had people to orders in the order in which they were sitting. So, for the expediter who brought food out, they were very confused. To me, that is proof of A not very well seasoned server. Our server looked terribly flustered. I don't think that they asked for help in expediting orders being delivered to the table as quickly or as frequently as necessary. Simple things like catchup and steak sauce and napkins, as well as drink refills were being requested constantly. I know, for myself, I requested refills on glasses of water and I see several times. It took so long that we all started to make jokes about how they were probably harvesting pee leaves in the back or that the sugarcane used to sweeten. My drink would probably still be grown and harvested in the back. Same thing with the burgers and steaks that were ordered, maybe the cows had yet to be slaughtered or delivered to the restaurant. There were all kinds of terrible joke being thrown around. But really, the amount of time that it took from when the orders were given, and the time that food was placed on our table in front of us, it was terrible. Two children's meals were ordered off of their kids menu. Why those two meals were the last ones to appear on the table I will never understand. Also, why does it take so long for a salad entrée to be brought out to the table? Just before the kids got their food, the salad finally came out. It took them longer to dress and toss the salad than it did to cook & prepare steak entrées. That's SO strange! Several times we asked for bread. Several times it never made it to our table. At one point we got Brad enough for our table. When we asked for more bread for one side of the table, it took them so long that we ended up having to add a expediter and then later the manager. They kept apologizing. I'm sorry, but after a few times of asking for a drink and water and napkins and saws and utensils and bread.... This ring around the Rosie sort of act that they had going on and got really tired. The whole experience was miserable, and everyone was less than satisfied. Everyone in our group kept complaining about the service and amount of time that things took and also the amount of times that certain things had to be asked for. This was ridiculous. I can't believe we've even paid for this. The manager seemed so unbothered by our concerns and complaints. It was as though he expected poor feedback and that he was so used to hearing negative things about his store and his employees. I thought that was really terrible. PS: I wouldn't have been so harsh in my review had our server or any of the expediters let us know that hey we're so sorry that things are taking a little longer. Was my very first time coming here and I must say I am glad I did. We were celebrating a great win and came with our dear friends that have been helping us out and I am glad we came here for dinner. We were a party of 7 and our server was very accommodating. She was kind courteous and went above and beyond for us. We had a mix up on temperatures on 2 of the steaks but it was fixed right away. We all had steaks and some had shrimp and some had lobster. The sides were so delicious. We had the cheese bread and waygu dumplings as appetizers. The general manager stopped by our table and gave my little one ice cream. He was a very kind man and appreciated the kindness he showed our party. I received emails from them - Prime Rib day! Special offer! $25 (usually $32.99). So we tried it. Mrs G can NOT have any sign of pink in her steak so she opted for burger and carefully spelled out "well done - no pink (health condition) - but NOT burnt. Ideally cut the burger in half while cooking". This always works at Fatburger - no problem. However at Black Angus it was a fiasco. The server delivered a totally burnt burger and had a horrible attitude, nasty to the extreme. And no way would we even consider having her prepare another burger for fear of what she might do with it - yuk! We told her to take it all away and deduct from the bill. I had taken a couple of bites out of my prime rib and all the salad and 1/2 my glass of wine so felt obliged to quickly gobble down some of mine. Service is always great. Thank you to the very nice waitress who helped us recently. There is always a huge parking lot and parking is free, which is always nice. Unfortunately, this most recent visit was disappointing. I have ordered the Steak Cobb salad with no cheese before and enjoyed it, but this time it was quite small and had a large end-piece of lettuce in it. The salad proportions have also seemed smaller recently, but this visit it was especially small. Most of the lettuce had reddish edges and appeared to be getting old. The steak was also not well done, which is what I had requested, and there didn't appear to be any dressing on the salad. The avocado was also mostly brown, which I know doesn't make it bad, but combined with everything else it really made the salad look unappetizing. When I asked for dressing, the waitress mentioned that they are often stingy with it and said she knew because she has ordered the Steak Cobb herself. She was very nice and brought me some. The menu photo of the salad on the website looks very different from what I was served. See photos of the salad I received for details. I sent an email about this experience and received an apology with a request for my phone number. I haven't responded yet and am not sure if or when I will be back. We really enjoyed Black Angus! The last time I had black angus was when I was a teenager and coming back at 36 was a treat. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the meal was delicious. I got the 8oz filet with veggies and a side salad and my fiancé got the 22oz porterhouse with the same sides. Our server was very attentive and sweet and made sure we had what we needed for our meal. The only negative I have is the bathrooms really need to be kept cleaner (hence the 4 stars) but other than that it was so nice to have dinner here! The campfire feast is a great deal if you're not tempted to throw in a to of add-one.I liked the prime rib. The garlic butter sauce we got on the side was a bit salty. The crème brûlée was great! I would have given my experience at least 4 stars at least but we found plastic within the onions on one of the dishes. On this occasion, we dropped of our daughter and came here to try the new Manhattan Strip and Shrimp. This was one of our favorite steaks and the grilled shrimp were so good. We saw that our local GM, John, was here and he mentioned that he had moved here because it was closer to him. The restaurant was almost empty on a Friday, and we were seated quickly. It's a huge space with a full bar area, screens everywhere playing sports, and good music volume. Paul ordered a Guinness, which wasn't poured correctly and was pretty flat when it reached our table. I ordered an espresso martini and then a prickly pear margarita (margaritas are pretty customizable with flavors and tequila types) which I really liked. He ordered a steak, and I went with the twin lobster tails with a side of lobster asparagus and mac and cheese. I know that I shouldn't have expected much, but the lobster was on the dry side and a very small portion. The complimentary bread was great and so was the fried shrimp appetizer, and we both really enjoyed the steak... next time, I'd stick with that and avoid the seafood! I visited this location for lunch during weekday. It wasn't busy during lunch time which was perfect. We were seated right away. The complimentary bread and butter is so good. Bread is full of flavors. As for the food, it was ok no complaints. I liked my steak, I asked for well done and I got well done. In some locations when asked for well done, I end up with medium which is disappointing. I liked the salad too it was a perfect mixture of vegetables. Service was kind of slow for the location being half empty. It's not a big deal maybe they were understaffed that day. The complimentary bread and butter was great to munch on while waiting, but it felt that our drink orders, refills, and even asking for additional bread and butter took awhile to get to our table. One waiter who check on our table would speak too fast and seemed always in a hurry to get us refills and any additional item we asked for. Turns out, I picked the perfect night to return -- and a huge part of that was thanks to Carlos, our server. Carlos was exceptional from start to finish. The kind of server who's not just doing a job, but genuinely taking care of you. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being over the top, and on point with every detail. You could tell he takes pride in what he does, and it made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. The food absolutely held its own too. The steaks came out cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and the lobsters were well worth it -- tender, rich, and exactly what you hope for when you splurge a little. She never pre-bussed our table, which was absolutely disgusting as we had appetizers, side salads, and empty glass glassware, all sitting there the entire meal. Busser had to give refills and provide lemons because she was no where to be found. Then she overcharged us by approximately $50 which had to be corrected and she gave no apology for. Black Angus, please do better about training your servers on how to be personable or at least do the bare minimum. And look into her comps. The over charge was too suspicious She could be getting comps after customers leave and rounding up to provide herself with a tip she doesn't deserve . read more

I was served a couple of Rib Eye steaks by Andrea and Speedy at the table celebrating my friend's Birthday. The price, service, ambiance and quality I had with the steak was superb. Then I went to the bar for a couple of happy hour drinks during the game and was served by Bobbie and Esmy and they were the fastest, nicest and most attentive bartenders. Hostess was very nice too and all around a great experience. The general manager was very kind and polite and looking after his crew. Great spot. 10/10 would recommend and I'll come back anytime I get a chance. Cheers!! read more

It been years since I been to a Black Angus so that's why I decided to take my wife here last night to celebrate our 6 years anniversary. We basically ate at all the restaurants in Burbank beside this one so I wanted to change things up. I made reservations off OpenTable along with putting we were celebrating our anniversary and was willing to give this restaurant a try since the last time we went to the Northridge location (6 years ago), it wasn't a good experience. I found parking easily on a Thursday night and the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is outdated or not modernized. We got seated near the bar and the environment was just more calm especially with the music. Our waitress came and took our drinks order first. I got a regular Pepsi and at the Northridge location they kept overfilling my drink so it would spill on the table, this location was the exact same issue. We took advantage of the happy hour so I ordered the cheesy trio. They give regular bread as well which we thought was good, the cheesy trio is good when you eat it hot. My wife ordered her grillled salmon with Mac & cheese and broccoli. I got the 12oz ribeye at medium with fries and Mac & cheese. It didn't take our food to come out and I thought my ribeye looked more burnt than cooked at medium. I was right because I mostly taked the burnt flavor on my steak but it was tender and not that juicy. You even see all the burnt on my plate after eating it so it was not good. My fries was just okay and I did not like the Mac & cheese here. My wife thought her Salmon was on the drier side and didn't like the Mac & cheese either. The bathroom here also need some remodeling because it's not in the best of shape. Overall we're not planning on coming back to this Black Angus again. The crowd here seems the be on the older people group since we barely saw any young adults. We went somewhere else to get dessert since our experience wasn't good. read more

We were visiting from out of town and decided to go to Black Angus instead of Morton's because it was closer to our room. We've had good experiences in the past at Black Angus in Arizona. Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant visit. Our steaks were undercooked, and the lobsters were cold. The waitress was great, she was the only good thing of our experience. The manager did address the issues and provided a discount after my husband had to request one. read more

Slow service on an empty restaurant. Not even for greetings or refill our drinks. Questions like "Do you want more water? When the guy see my empty glass. C'mon Dirty dishes after we finished and every server passed over the table and dishes still there.
