Bacon and sausage breakfast burrito
Romina R.

Breakfast burrito #4 0/5 = SPIT IT OUT 1/5 = one bite is enough 2/5 = two bites is enough 3/5 = decent 3.5/5 = decent but tastier 4/5 = so good 4.5 = almost 5/5 good 5/5 = LADY GAGA (inspired by her interview meme "talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.") I feel people don't listen to fast food restaurants when it comes to breakfast burritos and I totally get it. I don't think a Jack-in-the-box would compare to a mom and pop shop, and the quality of ingredients is the tip of the iceberg. But I feel places like IHOP and Dennys are in this weird limbo. Some foods are questionable and others are actually really tasty and we can hope the ingredients used are the closest to fresh as possible. So with all this being said, their breakfast burrito is pretty solid. One bite to the right and you get hit with bacon and one bite to the left you get hit with sausage and then as you continue eating, everything comes together. Hash browns used! Nicely paired with the side of salsa they give you and a great size burrito. Not my go-to, but I see myself getting this again. 3/5

Garden salad with ranch dressing

We had dinner at this Denny's for the first time in a long time and it was surprisingly good! I got the Alaskan Salmon (I know, Alaskan salmon at Denny's!) and husband got the Chicken Fried Chicken. We both added a garden salad. The food was very good, the salmon was cooked perfectly! And so was the Fried chicken! Service was prompt. Server was very attentive. We were having dinner at 7:15 PM, the restaurant was open in terms of seating and quiet. Restaurant was clean, I like this Denny's decor, pictures of scenes of California on the wall. Very pleasant experience.

Ordering delivery from this Denny's on Alameda never disappoints. The food is always prepared fresh, and it's delivered hot! Love that! The shake are soooooo good!!!! They're open late (11pm) so they are great for late night snacks

Highly recommend! Skillet

The food was absolutely delicious! Isabel was a wonderful hostess and waitress - she took great care of us the entire time. Roberto made sure everything coming out of the kitchen was perfect, even down to small details like making sure cheese was added when needed. I couldn't finish my meal because I was full, but everyone else in my family cleaned their plates - that's how good it was! | didn't even get a chance to take pictures before the food was gone. Highly recommend!

We love this Denny's! All the servers and people we have interacted with are great. The food is consistently at a great level for Denny's. This review is for the server robot they recently implemented. No. Just no. Get that shit right outta here. Useless, annoying sounds, and couldn't navigate without the help of the server. The second you respond saying they pulled it out of the store, this review goes to 5 stars. Get it together.

Sometimes you just need a Moon Over My Hammy on a random night. It's a cheesy, salty, savory ham & scrambled egg sammich with melted Swiss & American cheeses. It's nostalgic goodness that brings me back to late nights out on the town (Hollywood/Sunset Strip/Cahuenga Corridor) and needing this type of meal to soak it all up at the end. We went to the Burbank location along Alameda in the same plaza as Pavillions. The manager seated us right away and it wasnt too busy that night. We came to find out that they close nightly at 11pm and not later like most Denny's location. So that was good to know for future visits... Service was friendly and attentive. The dining room was clean and orderly as it looked like they were indeed tidying up for the night before closing. My order of Moons Over My Hammy was just what I needed. I asked for well done hash browns and that's what I got. The sandwich on sourdough was great... The lady got a patty melt and she enjoyed hers as well.

Just a respectable stack showing up to work. The turkey dinner was the hit. Savory. Comforting. Very much giving somebody's aunt still runs the kitchen and does not play about gravy. It had that old-school homestyle energy that makes you sit up a little straighter and start forgiving your week. Not flashy. Not trying to be cute. Just a plate built like it pays taxes and tells the truth. The chicken noodle soup was the sleeper and honestly maybe the smartest one in the room. So good. Rich broth. Deep flavor. The kind of soup that tastes like it could fix your mood, your sinuses, and at least one bad decision. It came in quiet and somehow left with the crown. Full dark horse behavior. Service was easy. Friendly. No extra theater. They kept things moving and let the food have its moment, which honestly was the correct leadership choice. The atmosphere is low-key diner charm. Unpretentious. Local. The kind of place you almost do not want to talk about too loudly because then suddenly everybody shows up and now you are waiting for soup behind people who just discovered it on a Saturday. it's giving... a small-town diner in a movie where the soup has a better reputation than half the cast.

Solid, coffee shop with friendly, attentive service and large, family friendly menu. Even and "old fashion" dessert case with revolving goodies! The first thing I notice on approach was the side door entry directly to the lounge. It reminded me of back when Denny's had a lounge, but those were all removed by the time I came of legal drinking age. LOL Lancers also has a lounge and it was tempting to pop in for a mid afternoon adult libation, but we had no time to languish over 3 martinis lunches, so into the main dining area we went. We were greeted and sat in a booth immediately and a gentleman came to ask us what drinks he could get us started with. Then our server arrived and introduced himself, pointed out the lunch specials and gave us a few minutes to decide. I opted for the Chef Salad and Hubs went for the ham steak breakfast with pancakes. My salad was cold, crisp and delicious, served with a slice of fresh bread. Yum! It was a very large salad, so I knew as soon as it was placed before me, half of this bad boy would be dinner. Hubs breakfast was also good. He couldn't finish all his pancakes, so I graciously offered my assistance. Now, my fave pancakes are more cake-y dense than anything, but these weren't bad at'll. Fluffy and light with a hint of sweetness. We didn't have room for dessert, but a glance through the rotating display told me it wouldn't be a bad idea to pop in just for coffee and pie sometime. There's LOADS of free parking in their vast lot and I look forward to returning far sooner than all the previous decade of my passing by had allowed. Def going to try a dessert next time. Cheers! Nevertheless, after today's lunch with a friend of mine, I decided to pass on going there. My friend and I met there for lunch. She had a burger with onion rings, and I had one of my favourites, Liver and onions, and veggies with mashed potatoes and gravy ( without the onions). But today I just finally realized it's time for me to move on. The last time I was there, when I had eggs Benedict, they were quite bad, and the waiter got on my wrong side by slamming the bill on our table when we barely finished. And it wasn't very busy there. Jesus Christ stop being so pushy. It felt like, "yeah, you guys ate now get the hell out of here". Today, my friend liked her food, but mine was the liver dish. One of the worst I have ever had. The mashed potatoes were almost cold, the carrots so overcooked that they would have been perfect as baby food. And the liver, tasteless and hard, and that for 19-some Dollars. That's it, I think I spend my money where the food is worth the money, and I, as a customer, won't feel that much pressure to pay and go.

Otherwise, the server was distracted because I had to ask for the same item three times before it made it to the table. The hollandaise was cold on our eggs Benedict. The entire plate of food was lukewarm. The taste wasn't bad but the cold hollandaise sauce was a huge disappointment. This was our first time in and I am not sure we'll be back. They have a very extensive menu here. There's a parking lot in the back and I also noticed a sign that said Complimentary Valet but there wasn't anyone at the stand. We walked in to a completely empty restaurant and saw one server (Denise) taking another table's order outside. I think she was the only employee on duty and doing everything by herself. After about 7 minutes, she approached us and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and we said outside. Then she asked us if we preferred the smoking or non-smoking patio, and we chose non-smoking. I didn't even know this was an option nowadays, I thought smoking at restaurants wasn't allowed anymore. Apparently they also have hookah available every day starting at 5pm, both inside and outside the restaurant. I was really looking forward to trying their frittata but didn't know that breakfast was only until 3pm. Unfortunately I couldn't order it since we got here around 4pm. We stayed with our waters and I got a bowl of their Clam Chowder soup that came with 2 bulky and FRESH pieces of warm Focaccia bread. I also ordered a Chicken Pesto Panini which came with Grilled Chicken Breast, Basil Pesto Aioli, Tomato, Mozzarella, Fresh Basil, Roasted Peppers and Arugula on toasted Ciabatta Bread. I chose Fruit as my side. The ingredients were all fresh, but unfortunately the bread was toasted way more than my liking and the sandwich was really dry overall. There wasn't enough pesto and the chicken was a bit overcooked. I felt like I was hurting my tooth as I ate it. On the other hand, my soup absolutely stole the show. It was an outstanding bowl of Clam Chowder that really hit the spot after not having it for several years. It was piping hot, and again, very fresh. So flavorful and enjoyable. I savored every spoonful! My son ordered the French Turkey Sandwich that came with Roasted Turkey with Swiss Cheese, Avocado, Tomato, Pickles, Lettuce, Red Onions, Garlic Aioli on Sourdough Bread. He loved his sandwich and ate every crumb off his plate. I also had some of his sandwich and it was really good, way better than mine. Also nice portion for the price. He got his with a side salad that had arugula, tomatoes, red onion and lemon vinaigrette. After seating us and taking our order, Denise disappeared and Bryce took over. He was an excellent server and provided great customer service. I told him about my issues with my sandwich and he apologized and brought me some extra pesto aioli on the side. The place is very clean and everything looks very new and well-kept. Bryce mentioned they've been around for about 10 years but did an extensive remodel during COVID. I'd also like to mention that the tap water tasted so good. No nasty aftertaste like some other restaurants. Even their glasses were beautiful. Thank you management, Bryce and The Corner. We will be back another time to try the same sandwich and see if there's any improvement. We will also try more things, including the Frittata. Both restrooms were fully stocked and super clean!!

My partner and I (not the same person mentioned in the original post) came here today to enjoy a late lunch. We've come here many times since my initial review and have always enjoyed our meals. We have a lot of fond memories of this place, I've even brought friends here as well because I spoke highly of it. I ordered the huevos machaca and a regular coffee. My partner ordered the chicken quesadilla and a latte. When they brought the latte out, the cup was filthy (smelled like bacon and had old lipstick on the rim) and tasted terrible. We asked for the drink to be remade in a clean cup and with different milk. It was, but it was like the La Croix of lattes- just purely milky with the lightest essence of espresso. My partner was quite disappointed with his meal and obviously the latte. His quesadilla came with a side of fruit and I swear they picked the worst fruit in each batch. The strawberries were shriveled and dry, and the watermelon was very soggy. The huevos machaca I ordered was incredibly underwhelming from what I remember. The coffee was whatever- you typically know what to expect when ordering a drip coffee at a diner, you know? The waiter offered us boxes but we declined; there was nothing redeeming about our meals. I used to love this place, but today made me question coming back. The menu prices have also increased (which sucks but I understand because it's expensive to exist in 2026). Maybe Foxy's staff was having an off-day today. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not sure I'll come back again. Only time will tell.
