    spicy mango margarita
    Jessica G.

My friends and I stopped by on a Sunday evening and it was busy. They had a few tables available inside when we arrived. The space is indoor/outdoor and is located right in the middle of downtown Burbank. I ordered the spicy mango margarita which was good! For food, I had the Finney burger with fries. The burger was okay, I was expecting more flavor on the meat. Our server was friendly, but she seemed very busy throughout the evening. She didn't check on our table very often and the side of ranch we requested never made it to our table.

My Diet Coke from my first time here! Love the cups!

I'm reviewing based on two very different experiences. I came here by myself for a smaller World Cup game and the workers were the best!! I explained that I just wanted to watch a game and be out of the way and they could not have been kinder through my whole time there! Daniela was my server and she was so kind! Best service and I didn't even order food. The second experience I had was going pretty well! My boyfriend and I took a friend who had just put down one of her dogs. She took her other dog with her since he has never been left without the other dog. :( we were really hoping to cheer her up with an outing. It was unfortunately super hot outside and so we asked the server if we'd be able to sit inside with the dog. No problem! The dog was in a stroller and we took a table right by the patio door. We really enjoyed our drinks and food and talking to each other. Our server, Kailey, made sure we had water and drink refills as needed. We had been there over 2 hours at this point, watching a World Cup came that had about 10 minutes left, when someone came up to us, I'm assuming a manager, but she never introduced herself to us, and told us the dog needed to either be on the floor or in the stroller (he was in our friends lap at this point) and then told us the stroller was a fire hazard unless it was on the other side of the table. We were very receptive, no problem, but very confused why this would come up after we had been sitting there for over 2 hours. This employee disappeared after that and we didn't see her again! It was just bizarre. Anyway- the servers were friendly and the other people there watching the game were fun. I loved the carnitas nachos and the Baja seltzer! I just was very confused by this "manager" coming up after 2 hours of us being there (she had seen us there at least 30-40 minutes before approaching us). Up front it wouldn't have been confusing! We're happy to follow rules and such and the dog was fine in his stroller. It just put a bad taste in our mouth, especially when there were only about 10 minutes left in the game we were watching. Felt a little too late to approach us? I wouldn't let this hinder my coming back. All the servers I've had were so great, I just don't know why a manager type would wait so long to present a customer with where a stroller can and can't be. We had made sure to ask up front about it, too and there were no issues! For those reading- check this place out! Fun to casually watch a game of some kind and get a drink and appetizer. The servers are amazing!

Great!! First time at a Finneys and I was craving fish tacos. Loved them! It was more American style and that's okay. I wanted a better salsa for it but it's delicious! Fries were really good as well. The service was also amazing! I'd be back!!

    Caesar Salad with Shrimp

First time at this location of Finney's, and first time eating at Finney's in a while, and it was a less enjoyable meal than previously. We've usually had burgers and appetizers, and have always considered them to be tasty and satisfying, but this time we strayed to other parts of the menu and the food wasn't nearly as successful. I opted for the Caesar Salad with grilled shrimp added, and it was both nicely plated and proportioned, especially for lunch. However, while I appreciated the lightness of the Caesar dressing (as opposed to the overly heavy renditions you get many places), it was exceptionally bland. In fact, I'd say there was virtually no flavor at all beyond the mild Parmesan cheese on top. The shrimp had a bit of seasoning, but could have used more -- and they had a slightly overdone texture, as if they were packaged rather than fresh (which is likely). My wife ordered Chicken Fajitas, and they were much the same in terms of blandness and feeling pre-packaged. The accompanying salsa had no heat at all, and the guacamole had a bit of a preservative taste. We were seated on the patio, which was spacious and sunny, with umbrellas providing plenty of shade. The large, industrial interior is organized so as to give people maximum view of the various TV's. It's clean, spare and efficient, if not particularly relaxing. Service was friendly but mostly hands off. Our official server only stopped by once, to deliver our sodas (ordered from the hostess) and take our food order. After that, our meal was brought by runners, and we were told to settle our check using a console on the table. It's an okay place for burgers and apps, and to hang with friends while a game is on, but I don't feel motivated to return soon for any other reason.

I stopped by here to watch an NBA game and was able to find a spot at the bar. The fries were delicious and I was able to order a drink of their menu and asked for a slight modification. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop and asked if we could remove the lavender and the bartender was super kind and said he could do that. The boneless wings were alright. It wasn't the best but wasn't too bad either. I likely won't order these again. I really liked the crowd and environment when watching a live game so will try to go back and try different dishes off their menu.

Came in, establishment was busy but got seated right away. It is a bit dim and lit up by a bunch of TV's but it's a sports bar so it's to be expected. Ordered an old fashioned whiskey & Shirley temple for drinks. Ordered the mini lobster rolls and crispy tuna rice for apps. Ordered a tri-tip sammie with kettle chips and fries & a smash burger w/ onion rings to go for the kid. The mini lobster rolls has Tabasco in the mix but we couldn't really taste it. It has satiated our craving but nothing amazing. The tuna crispy rice was okay as well. Both entrees were also pretty standard. I'd suggest getting their meals that are favorited with a star next to the menu item. But definitely try it out for yourself. Very child friendly.

Big shoutout to Finney's for coming through with the perfect spot to watch the Super Bowl this past weekend! I originally had a reservation at a nearby sports bar, but when I got there, they told me there was a $50 minimum spend per person. Knowing my usual order, I knew I wouldn't hit that, so I forfeited my RSVP and walked around instead. That's when I saw Finney's. The first thing I noticed was the number of TVs, ideal for any big game, plus the space had a nice, modern vibe. Luckily, I only waited about 15 minutes for a seat. I ordered the yuzu buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, the Finney's burger, and a couple of drinks. Everything was delicious, and our server was super friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better place to watch the game.

There was a spider that came out of my fries when I was about to eat! All the manger said is that she's sorry it happened!!!! The spiders crawled out of my fries and went on my burger and over the my drink and all we got was I'm so sorry. The even have a section to discount food called "bug in food" so I'm assuming This happens all the time! You would think they would give us the whole dinner for free but I guess a bug in your food is worth $20 I would think twice!

After the debacle at Han Korean BBQ joint (just about a block away), they wanted to charge my kid 20 bucks even though she wasn't gonna eat. She won't eat that type of food she's vegetarian and she's very picky about what she eats so we kept it pushing and I found Finney's. They were pretty busy there was an art fair going on so there's a lot of people walking around and stuff. It was really cool. Finney's smelled good and had the game playing. They were able to seat us right away and they weren't gonna charge me 20 bucks because my kid wasn't gonna eat. We were seated promptly sat down quickly and place our order fairly shortly after being seated. Our server was very friendly had great suggestions and I like that in a server. The food comes and it was good. A little bit more elevated bar food. They had the fun trivia game there so I love playing that played a couple rounds ended up being the winner. All in all, it was a nice save from the horror at Han Korean barbecue place. I mean, what a nightmare are they gonna charge babies because they're sitting at the table? But they're not gonna eat the food? It was ridiculous. Finneys did not charge for my kid not eating and we had a good meal. I will return.

Food, Service, and Ambiance are excellent here. The bison burger is as delicious as as any burger in the county. The cheese and sauce on there were extremely amazing. The sweet potato fries were excellent as well an so too were the arnold palmers which they kept coming. The Bavarian pretzel was incredible too, served with caramel sauce and two other sauces. Absolutely fantastic. This is a great place to catch a game. I cake at a friend's behest and boy was he right. The bison burger came highly recommended and was worth every bite. Thanks Finney's!

Kindness and compassion go along way when deciding where to eat. The server Agostinho is really a good soul. Allow Agostinho to pick your items and have a great conversation. One of the best parts of the experience while dining is the conversation with Agostinho as a server. Ask for Agostinho section. You must grab a few drinks and food. The food is tasty and you can see a great game while eating too. So many great choices. Always a great time when I am in the city to stop here!!!!!

We arrived around 3:45pm on Saturday and it was busy but not too busy so we got a table right away. Loved all the t.v's they had around the restaurant. We were able to watch the Chargers game. I ordered the grilled chicken club, my husband ordered Gary's pepperoni and my daughter ordered the smash burger with Tatar tots. They were cooked perfectly nice and toasty. Pepperoni pizza was thin and crispy so delicious. I will definitely be back to try more things on the menu.

    Jon N.

We stop in about once a month. Good food and beer. My wife loves their Chicken Quesadilla and I rotate between salads and tasty carnitas tacos. We enjoy the cheesesteak eggrools, too, and now they have a delicious Chicken Lettuce Wrap starter. Service is usually very good, but the tables never seem clean. They tell us it's because of a bad lacquer job, but let's be real. Anyway... not a deal-breaker, obviously.

Finney's Crafthouse Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Finney's Crafthouse

Is there an area to comfortably seat 12 people together?

Yeah when I was there I saw a group about that size seated inside against the wall to the right.

Will you be playing the MLB playoffs on the tv?

Do they have the NFL Sunday Ticket/ability to play all the games?

Yes! We have the NFL ticket so you can watch your favorite team play. Please be advised, the games put on the TVs are at a first come first served basis so get here early to cheer your team on! We open at 10AM for the season. :)

Will you be showing the Giants vs Vikings game this weekend? Want come by with family to eat great food and watch the game. 😎

They have a lot of different games on at one time. Go Vikings!

I've tried calling the number listed but there is only the option to leave a voicemail. However the voicemail box is full so I cannot. I have a party of 6 coming on Saturday at 2pm was wanting to make a reservation if possible?

I forgot to ask them when I went for dinner, but I have the same problem when trying to make reservation, maybe they don't take reservations if you can go there maybe it's better! Sorry

    Do we need reservations?

Unfortunately we don’t take reservations, it a first come first serve policy.

    Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome in our patio. Hope to see you soon!

Do you need proof of vaccination to dine-in?

Hello Henry, thanks for reaching out. We are not asking for the vaccination card, Burbank does not belong to LA city. Hope to see you soon!!

    Is there any Vegan options?

Hello Alexis, Thank you for reaching out. Yes, we do have options, we will have to make some…

Hi! I'm bringing a party of 8 there for a Friday Happy Hour. I realize you don't take reservations, but do you want me to call and give you a head up for larger parties ahead of time? Thanks!

Hello Anne, Thank you for considering Finney’s for happy hour!…

    Do you take reservations?

Hello Chloe, Unfortunately we don’t take reservations. Sorry!

    Is there a Happy Hour?

Hello Grant, Yes. Happy hour is from 3pm - 5pm Monday - Friday.…

I passed by on my lunch today 6/18 (only a half hour break today) and asked about takeout orders. The person at the podium said that they weren't currently doing it. Is there a date for takeout orders to begin?

I was there today and the manager told me they will not be doing take out as a business decision. Probably the only restaurant not to do so during a pandemic, especially when there are about 15 other restaurants in steps away.

We found this place last minute to watch the final FIFA World Cup game when we were turned around…read morefrom another spot. Thank god we got turned away because this place is a hidden gem. They do have parking behind the building which seems to fill pretty quickly if they're busy, but it's easy to find parking around the neighborhood. I am not usually in the tavern scene so I was surprised that we had to order and pay at the bar, but it wasn't a big issue. My friend and I split the kale caesar salad and the macaroni and cheese. For the table, I ordered the waffle fries after being informed by the kind waitress that that was the better choice over the pretzel (which she also said was amazing). Since the place was filling up for the final, the kitchen was a bit slow, but we barely noticed with how attentive the staff were in getting us drinks and refills. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and is honestly the reason I'm writing this review. The first things we got were the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries, Caesar Salad, and mac and cheese. Obviously the fries were much better, however the salad was also divine but just swimming in dressing. Back to the fries, we all were mindblown with how tavern fries could be this good and had so many flavors. Even the skinny queens in our group kept snacking on them which tells you how good these were. Mac and cheese came and it was standard and creamy but not necessarily something I'd return for. The surprising thing on top of the fries that majority of us loved was the Vegan Tomato Scampi with shrimp. It was fire and had me questioning if it was even Vegan. Would definitely return here if I find my way back to SoCal from the Bay. Great unassuming place with great food and vibes. Their bathroom as well is super clean and nice! Love this place!

    - Broken Compass Tiki…read more My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Broken Compass Tiki. I originally found it on TikTok, followed up with a few YouTube videos, and knew I had to check it out the next time we were in Burbank. It completely lived up to the hype. Parking can be a little challenging since it's in Burbank, but we got lucky and found a street parking spot nearby. If you don't get as lucky, driving around the block or into the surrounding neighborhood should eventually turn something up. We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened, and there were already several people inside. By the time we left, the place was filling up quickly, so it's definitely a popular spot. I surprised my girlfriend by keeping the destination a secret and just telling her we were going somewhere fun with a unique theme. She loved it. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Both the bartender and our server were incredibly welcoming. Our server asked whether it was our first visit and took the time to ask what kinds of drinks we normally enjoy before making recommendations. I really appreciated that he wasn't just trying to upsell us. Instead, he explained why he thought certain cocktails were better choices based on our preferences, and every recommendation ended up being spot on. As you'd expect from a tiki bar, the cocktail menu is heavily rum-focused, but there are also non-alcoholic drinks, a small beer selection, and wine available if rum isn't your thing. I ordered the Zombie Magic first, which was delicious and definitely packed a punch. After that, I tried the 100 Year Cigar, a Scotch-based cocktail that was perfect for slowly sipping. Both drinks were fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the Painkiller and the Navy Grog, and she loved both of them. We started with the Shut It Polly wings, crispy chicken wings tossed in a spicy Thai peanut sauce, and they were outstanding. We also ordered the Aloha Dippers with the Cajun seasoning. I paired mine with the Chipotle Citrus Aioli, while my girlfriend chose the Firecracker sauce. Both dipping sauces were excellent and complemented the fries really well. For our entrées, I ordered the Pub Burger with Irish cheddar, onion strings, and horseradish aioli, cooked to order. It was excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Shrimp & Lobster Roll, and we both enjoyed it. The only item that didn't quite meet our expectations was the macaroni salad that came with our meals. We've had some incredible macaroni salad at Hawaiian restaurants, and this one just didn't quite compare. It certainly wasn't bad, but it was the one part of the meal that didn't stand out. One thing that really impressed me was how accommodating the staff was regarding my raw fruit allergy. I explained what I could and couldn't safely eat or drink, and our server took it seriously. He made sure every cocktail recommendation was safe for me without sacrificing flavor or experience. That level of attention made me feel comfortable ordering drinks I otherwise might have avoided. The décor is also worth mentioning. The pirate-themed exterior transitions into a fun pirate-and-tiki atmosphere inside that really adds to the experience without feeling overdone. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. The drinks were strong and creative, the food was excellent, the service was some of the best we've had in a long time, and the atmosphere was a blast. There are still plenty of cocktails on the menu that I'd like to try, so we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Burbank.

This place really made you feel like Captain Jack Sparrow was going to jump out at every corner. It so themed for a tiki bar, but if pirates and mermaids had a place to hang out this would be that place. From the decor to the detailed bathroom sounds and the menu item names. You couldn't escape the theme anyway and I loved it! We were gathering for a friends birthday and there was 30 of us. Couldn't believe we found enough seats for us in the back area but we did. The staff was there to keep drinks flowing and keep food coming. The portion for their poke nachos was unreal. Do i wish they put a bit more poke on the dish? Yes. But it was still one of my favorite dishes of the night. The drinks were all so cute and they had ample non alcoholic mocktails as well which were yummy. If you want a speakeasy feel (you lieterally go through a secret door in the wall) and an under the sea eperience while ctching up with friends, you can totally do it here. For my friends birthday they rang some bell and all sang happy birthday to her which was so cool. Why was the bathroom the coolest part? They literally have ocean sounds and seaguls for you to hear while using the restroom. Theres even a fan in the bathroom to make you feel like you're next to the ocean because I kept fighting that darn toilet seat cover to stay put. Such a fun night and will be back for the vibes. Special s/o to Amanda and all her crew the night we were there. They helped out with photos, drinks, and keeping food going all night. She had such a great team with her that night. Everyone was helping us out even finding us chairs and clearing tables so we could make room for more food.

Our waitress was nice and attentive at the right time. We got a Cobb salad and a chicken plate. Their chicken quality is soooo good. The Cobb salad has all the right amount of toppings and they mix in the dressing, much appreciated! Every bite has the dressing on it. I sub for blue cheese dressing, and it has a hint of mint that is perfect to balance out the heaviness of the egg, bacon and cheese crumbles. I also add crispy chicken. The chicken plate with hummus and pita is also really good. It's a thin slice of chicken, cooked just right. Their fries are crispy and flavorful. Their portions are big, so it's good to share. They have a ni outdoor patio too. Music they were playing was a good mix and not too loud. Enough to be able to hear it, but still have a conversation. Overall, recommend this place for lunch!

We didn't grab food but we did grab a few cocktails for a Friday after work adventure. The drinks had fun play on words for names and were charming in their own way. A good local, neighbor friendly bar not too far from the studio tours if you are looking to get off the beaten path.

Ya'll, this here is a gem! You go in and there's none of that pretentious bs. Don't got to worry…read moreabout others judging you. Everyone is literally there to have a good time, doing their own thing. Like I want to say, this is a safe place (?) I don't think I've ever used those words to describe a bar before! There's an entire wall of board games for you to choose from. We played about 3 or 4 games? And each one had all the pieces, amazingly! This just goes to show you that the people that visit this establishment respect and care for the games, which is a reflection on the clientele itself. And of course, you're welcome to bring your own game as well. We got there a bit after opening so we were able to get one of the multi seater tables. When we left at 3PM, the place was packed! The bar seats were all taken and the outside seating was pretty filled too. So be sure to get here early if you're looking for a table. Got an order of the chicken tenders and sweet potato tots. The chicken tenders was alright. But the sweet potato tots were delicious! We also ordered drinks. The food didn't take long and the staff was friendly. Parking is strictly street parking. So don't go parking at the KFC lot next door. Honestly, this place is great! Check it out if you're looking for a spot to chill and hang out! Good people and good vibes all around!

Plenty of board games to choose from, many people playing card trading card games. I ordered the Final Zestination (clever word play) I love that their drinks have a play on words. I love vodka and lemon together, this was so yummy! I also ordered garlic fries I would rate this a 8/10 The drinks come up as you order and the bartender was quick but efficient . The only downside is parking, there isn't a parking lot. We parked on the neighborhood street. Overall I will come back! I recently got into MTG so I need to be back to play that!

It's become so much more than just one of our favorite bars and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The biggest reason, though, is the people. Hospitality is something that's hard to fake, and the team here does it effortlessly. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted like an old friend. Over the years, the staff has created an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely personal, and that's something that's become increasingly rare. Matt, Sabrina, and the entire team are all such gems. Scott also deserves special recognition. He's a huge part of what makes The Rendition Room such a special place. Whether he's introducing a new cocktail, sharing the story behind a spirit, or simply taking the time to check in, his passion and care for every guest shine through. It's people like Scott who transform a great bar into a place you truly feel connected to. On our most recent visit, we tried the new Decade & Debauchery cocktail, celebrating The Rendition Room's 10 year anniversary, and it's phenomenal. Balanced, and beautifully executed. In a city full of great bars, they have managed to create something much harder to find, a sense of community. After all these years, it still feels just as special as the first time we walked in.
