Wow! What an amazing restaurant! They have outside seating which is always a plus! We ordered the battered Mahi mahi tacos and the southwest chicken bowl! They were both delicious!! The mahi mahi tacos came with chips and salsa. The salsa was sooo good and the fish was so fresh! Definitely will be back to try more menu items!

Food, Service, and Ambiance are excellent here. The bison burger is as delicious as as any burger in the county. The cheese and sauce on there were extremely amazing. The sweet potato fries were excellent as well an so too were the arnold palmers which they kept coming. The Bavarian pretzel was incredible too, served with caramel sauce and two other sauces. Absolutely fantastic. This is a great place to catch a game. I cake at a friend's behest and boy was he right. The bison burger came highly recommended and was worth every bite. Thanks Finney's!

Kindness and compassion go along way when deciding where to eat. The server Agostinho is really a good soul. Allow Agostinho to pick your items and have a great conversation. One of the best parts of the experience while dining is the conversation with Agostinho as a server. Ask for Agostinho section. You must grab a few drinks and food. The food is tasty and you can see a great game while eating too. So many great choices. Always a great time when I am in the city to stop here!!!!!

Still one of my favorite places for Happy Hour! The food and drinks are delicious. We had the best time watching a Dodger game with fellow fans and service was great!

We arrived around 3:45pm on Saturday and it was busy but not too busy so we got a table right away. Loved all the t.v's they had around the restaurant. We were able to watch the Chargers game. I ordered the grilled chicken club, my husband ordered Gary's pepperoni and my daughter ordered the smash burger with Tatar tots. They were cooked perfectly nice and toasty. Pepperoni pizza was thin and crispy so delicious. I will definitely be back to try more things on the menu.

After the debacle at Han Korean BBQ joint (just about a block away), they wanted to charge my kid 20 bucks even though she wasn't gonna eat. She won't eat that type of food she's vegetarian and she's very picky about what she eats so we kept it pushing and I found Finney's. They were pretty busy there was an art fair going on so there's a lot of people walking around and stuff. It was really cool. Finney's smelled good and had the game playing. They were able to seat us right away and they weren't gonna charge me 20 bucks because my kid wasn't gonna eat. We were seated promptly sat down quickly and place our order fairly shortly after being seated. Our server was very friendly had great suggestions and I like that in a server. The food comes and it was good. A little bit more elevated bar food. They had the fun trivia game there so I love playing that played a couple rounds ended up being the winner. All in all, it was a nice save from the horror at Han Korean barbecue place. I mean, what a nightmare are they gonna charge babies because they're sitting at the table? But they're not gonna eat the food? It was ridiculous. Finneys did not charge for my kid not eating and we had a good meal. I will return.

We stop in about once a month. Good food and beer. My wife loves their Chicken Quesadilla and I rotate between salads and tasty carnitas tacos. We enjoy the cheesesteak eggrools, too, and now they have a delicious Chicken Lettuce Wrap starter. Service is usually very good, but the tables never seem clean. They tell us it's because of a bad lacquer job, but let's be real. Anyway... not a deal-breaker, obviously.

Everything was good. Service, vibes, and good. If you join waitlist you should be seated quickly no problem. Bathrooms were clean and they have a bathroom just for females which I love.

I thought this place was okay and my other 9 friends liked it. I called and asked for a table for 10. They said they would try to hold one. They were able to seat us in a big bar table in the back room at 6 pm on a Sunday. They forgot to let our server know we were seated but he came by and took our order as soon as they told him. He checked on us and left for the night but had someone follow up and we paid with their online machine. Servers were friendly and nice. I thought my Cobb salad was just okay for a Cobb salad. It didn't have anything to make it different or more special than any other Cobb salad. The pastrami sandwich & fries the same. People who had tacos enjoyed them. It was noisier in other rooms. Pictures on walls were cool. They made the place look much better. Just an okay place to me. Great for groups and drinking.

Great beer, great food. They have an outdoor patio that gets a lot of sunlight and the staff are super welcoming to people (and more importantly, dogs). This place is good for big groups and they have WiFi if you want beer and some email time.

Plenty of TVs to watch some sports and some good eats. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is a nice plus. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and plenty of fried food to share- sweet potato fries, tater tots, and onion rings We also went with Finneys Burger and the Caesar salad wrap. You can actually make any salad a wrap for an extra $1. At the end of your meal you can pay at your table using the little tablet they have stationed there. So easy to just pay and go. PS- they have a Photo Booth in the back for $5. That definitely deserves a star in my book.

Another great visit at Finney's! Been here a few times now and have experienced consistency, from the food quality to customer service.

I enjoy coming here for HH. The Bavarian pretzel is my favorite!! The salted caramel drip is too good. The carnitas nachos are good for sharing. I had the guava margarita and was so perfect for a the hot day. Service was good. They have plenty of seating options and an outdoor patio.

They have a lot of different games on at one time. Go Vikings!

I've tried calling the number listed but there is only the option to leave a voicemail. However the voicemail box is full so I cannot. I have a party of 6 coming on Saturday at 2pm was wanting to make a reservation if possible?

I passed by on my lunch today 6/18 (only a half hour break today) and asked about takeout orders. The person at the podium said that they weren't currently doing it. Is there a date for takeout orders to begin?

I was there today and the manager told me they will not be doing take out as a business decision. Probably the only restaurant not to do so during a pandemic, especially when there are about 15 other restaurants in steps away.

We had two separate servers because one went home during the middle of our dinner and both were equally horrible. Not even exaggerating when I say we waited at least 15 minutes after we asked for the check and there were probably only 10 tables in the entire restaurant. And we had to call her back over to ask for a second time. SMH. The food although flavorful was so ridiculously priced it was not even funny. I got a "ribeye ". Was literally eight thin slices of steak, like 1" x 1" size for $42! No, I will not be coming back here for so many reasons. The view is great. Castaways is definitely not what it used to be in the way of quality but at least you get more and you get the view. But definitely not worth it going to this place. It was quite a frustrating evening. Also, if you do decide to go here, just bring a coat when it's a little bit cooler in the evenings cause it does get cold up here and getting the staff to manage the heaters correctly is a whole other frustration. Oh, and valet is your only option for parking up here. It's kind of crazy because a few years ago you could just go park in the lot or the garage that's available there but now they're charging you $11 and it's chaos. I will say that the view up here is great though so if you're willing to forgo all of that for a view for like a one time date or something like that, it might be worth it

Broken Compass Tiki is a pirate themed tiki bar in Burbank…read more They don't having a parking lot, but it was very easy to find street parking just around the corner on a Sunday afternoon. The front of the building is a little vaguely marked, and the entrance has speakeasy vibes, which was a surprise. Upon walking in the front door, there is some tiki décor and a small counter in the rear. I remember thinking to myself "what the heck, this is it?". I checked in at the host stand on the left, and was handed me a boarding pass. She then led us through a hidden door behind what looked like a shipping crate. We were now in the real Broken Compass. The interior is a good size. The two-sided bar seats around a dozen. There is a lounge side of the bar that has two large booths along the wall, and another area with comfortable looking couches and lounge chairs. The main dining room has some tiki hut booths, and two sections of tables with half booth and half chair. The décor is pretty extensive with a good mix of pirate, nautical, and tiki themes. There is a lot of bamboo, thatch, rope, cargo netting, skulls and skeletons, port holes, octopus tentacles, jellyfish, tiki lights, and more. The ceiling is dark with various nautical and pirate markings, and even tied up ship sails overhead. The tiki hut booths have the parrots from the enchanted tiki room above them. Even the two restrooms are nautical themed, with beach and marine sounds playing. There is a lot of great décor to look at. We arrived around 2pm on a Sunday, so it wasn't very busy yet. By the time we left a few hours later, it was starting to get busy. We decided to sit at the bar. We started out with the buffalo cauliflower ($14) for an afternoon snack. The serving size was generous, and the buffalo sauce had a good tang. It was served with some sauces, and was surprisingly filling. A nice feature of the cocktail menu is that each drink displays one to three compass stars to indicate the strength of the drink. Their cocktails use a great variety of liquors including ones you don't often see. Many of the ingredients are made in-house. I started out with Chupacabra's Vacation (Demerara Rum, Jamacian Rum, Pomegranate Reduction, Cinnamon, Lime Juice, Bitters, two-star boozy rank, $17). It is served with a flaming lime on top and a little fire show. It was balanced with a light booziness, some light pomegranate flavor, and a cinnamon sprinkle on top. She started out with the Bittersweet Paradise (Jamacian Rum, White Rum, Campari, Passionfruit Syrup, Lemon, Lime, Pineapple, two-star boozy rank, $18). It didn't drink boozy at all, and was passion fruit forward, with light bitterness. My second cocktail was the Bermuda Dune Buggy (Gin, Overproof Rum, Kumquat Liqueur, Cassis, Orange, Lime, Bitters, two-star boozy rank, $18). It had a very unique garnish of a Chartreuse infused gummy which was delicious. The drink was nicely balanced, and didn't really drink boozy even with overproof rum in it. They have a rotating monthly cocktail and she tried the Tropic Like It's Hot (Coconut Washed Lemongrass Infused Rum, Mango, Lemon, Coconut Water, Amaro, $17) which was created by one of our bartenders Daniel. It was served in a Spam can and was light and refreshing with a nice pop of fruit at the start, and a very nice coconut flavor. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and had great conversation with our bartenders Daniel and Monica. They also provided excellent service. Broken Compass supports payment with the InKind app which gives you 20% back (10% on Friday and Saturday) in InKind cash. We had a really great time here, and the drinks, food, décor, and atmosphere were excellent. I purchased a Hork (Horse-shaRK) mug for $50 to bring home as a souvenir. We would definitely return again when in the area.
