One of the things that is often overlooked and underappreciated when people dine out is how much the manager influences your experience. Think about it: they're running the entire operation behind the scenes- servers, inventory, scheduling, front of house, kitchen area, customers, and putting up with all the nonsense in between, and I know there's a lot of *that* as a former restaurant worker myself! That's why Allison at Finney's is so kick-ass. She runs Finney's flawlessly. I'm a big foodie and hit up lots of different restaurants around LA, and Finney's in Burbank has definitely become my go-to spot. Allison does such a great job of providing a great customer experience from the moment I walk in to paying my tab. It's not just her welcoming demeanor, but it's also the same positive energy I see in the staff when she's running things. It's nice to know there are still places that care about a great customer experience and making you and your friends right at home, especially when you're celebrating with some of your closest friends and creating perhaps some of your final memories of LA. read more

Absolutely loved Finney's Crafthouse! Friendly, fast service from the moment we walked in. Their craft beer selection is a must-try -- the Irish Red, Kombucha Hazy IPA, and every pour we sampled were great. The prosciutto and arugula flatbread with hot honey was absolutely delicious, and the avocado egg rolls are a definite must-order starter. We also really enjoyed the mini lobster roll appetizer. My friends and I stopped by on a Sunday evening and it was busy. They had a few tables available inside when we arrived. The space is indoor/outdoor and is located right in the middle of downtown Burbank. I ordered the spicy mango margarita which was good! For food, I had the Finney burger with fries. The burger was okay, I was expecting more flavor on the meat. Our server was friendly, but she seemed very busy throughout the evening. I'm reviewing based on two very different experiences. I came here by myself for a smaller World Cup game and the workers were the best!! I explained that I just wanted to watch a game and be out of the way and they could not have been kinder through my whole time there! Daniela was my server and she was so kind! Best service and I didn't even order food. The second experience I had was going pretty well! My boyfriend and I took a friend who had just put down one of her dogs. She took her other dog with her since he has never been left without the other dog. :( we were really hoping to cheer her up with an outing. It was unfortunately super hot outside and so we asked the server if we'd be able to sit inside with the dog. No problem! The dog was in a stroller and we took a table right by the patio door. We really enjoyed our drinks and food and talking to each other. Our server, Kailey, made sure we had water and drink refills as needed. We had been there over 2 hours at this point, watching a World Cup came that had about 10 minutes left, when someone came up to us, I'm assuming a manager, but she never introduced herself to us, and told us the dog needed to either be on the floor or in the stroller (he was in our friends lap at this point) and then told us the stroller was a fire hazard unless it was on the other side of the table. We were very receptive, no problem, but very confused why this would come up after we had been sitting there for over 2 hours. This employee disappeared after that and we didn't see her again! It was just bizarre. Anyway- the servers were friendly and the other people there watching the game were fun. I loved the carnitas nachos and the Baja seltzer! I just was very confused by this "manager" coming up after 2 hours of us being there (she had seen us there at least 30-40 minutes before approaching us). Up front it wouldn't have been confusing! We're happy to follow rules and such and the dog was fine in his stroller. It just put a bad taste in our mouth, especially when there were only about 10 minutes left in the game we were watching. Felt a little too late to approach us? I wouldn't let this hinder my coming back. All the servers I've had were so great, I just don't know why a manager type would wait so long to present a customer with where a stroller can and can't be. We had made sure to ask up front about it, too and there were no issues! For those reading- check this place out! Fun to casually watch a game of some kind and get a drink and appetizer. First time at this location of Finney's, and first time eating at Finney's in a while, and it was a less enjoyable meal than previously. We've usually had burgers and appetizers, and have always considered them to be tasty and satisfying, but this time we strayed to other parts of the menu and the food wasn't nearly as successful. I opted for the Caesar Salad with grilled shrimp added, and it was both nicely plated and proportioned, especially for lunch. However, while I appreciated the lightness of the Caesar dressing (as opposed to the overly heavy renditions you get many places), it was exceptionally bland. In fact, I'd say there was virtually no flavor at all beyond the mild Parmesan cheese on top. The shrimp had a bit of seasoning, but could have used more -- and they had a slightly overdone texture, as if they were packaged rather than fresh (which is likely). My wife ordered Chicken Fajitas, and they were much the same in terms of blandness and feeling pre-packaged. The accompanying salsa had no heat at all, and the guacamole had a bit of a preservative taste. We were seated on the patio, which was spacious and sunny, with umbrellas providing plenty of shade. The large, industrial interior is organized so as to give people maximum view of the various TV's. It's clean, spare and efficient, if not particularly relaxing. Service was friendly but mostly hands off. Our official server only stopped by once, to deliver our sodas (ordered from the hostess) and take our food order. After that, our meal was brought by runners, and we were told to settle our check using a console on the table. It's an okay place for burgers and apps, and to hang with friends while a game is on, but I don't feel motivated to return soon for any other reason. read more

I stopped by here to watch an NBA game and was able to find a spot at the bar. The fries were delicious and I was able to order a drink of their menu and asked for a slight modification. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop and asked if we could remove the lavender and the bartender was super kind and said he could do that. The boneless wings were alright. It wasn't the best but wasn't too bad either. I likely won't order these again. I really liked the crowd and environment when watching a live game so will try to go back and try different dishes off their menu. read more

We originally stopped off here for a drink before meeting up with some friends for dinner. Sunday late afternoon and the place was pretty packed. Also there was a night market happening literally next to them which I didn't even know they had. Anyways, we grabbed the two seats that were available at the bar area for a cold one. Service was great and all the staff were very friendly. Hostess was a doll as well. I've been to the other locations but I don't recall coming to this one. Maybe a drink before when they first opened. Anyways, menu wise has pretty much a good selection of cocktails. Loads of beer on tap as you could clearly see with the wall. Bar area has a good amount of televisions so it's perfect for you sports enthusiasts. We didn't have any food as we were off somewhere for a meal. Well, famous last world. The other place was over a 2 hour wait so we ended up back here for dinner...lol... this time we got seated at one of the long picnic tables next to the fire pit on the patio. Service was great and everyone was very sweet and attentive. Food wise, menu is somewhat limited but a good amount of items. We ended up just getting a bunch of stuff to start and went from there. The avocado egg roll was quite tasty. Great duo with the sauce and the nice crunch to it was great. Coconut shrimp, it was ok. A little overcooked but still good. Then there was the pretzel with three dipping sauce. Both my friends were wondering did they get smaller or is it just us. Anyway, it was still good and the sauce choice was a great combination. Then you have the selections of other dishes. Your classic Cobb salad which was quite nice with all the hard boil eggs, bacon, tomatoes, chicken and blue cheese crumble. Cant go wrong with a Cobb salad. There was also the steak taquitos, a protein bowl, a smash burgers which they like, kids sliders which was also a hit from the youngsters and the ahi salad. That too was quite nice and the fish was great. Started off here for a drink and then ended back for dinner half an hour later. Service was great, all the staff were amazing and very friendly both at the bar and restaurant. We normally go to the Porter Ranch location or Ventura which this was great too. Ordered a tri-tip sammie with kettle chips and fries & a smash burger w/ onion rings to go for the kid. The mini lobster rolls has Tabasco in the mix but we couldn't really taste it. It has satiated our craving but nothing amazing. The tuna crispy rice was okay as well. Both entrees were also pretty standard. Big shoutout to Finney's for coming through with the perfect spot to watch the Super Bowl this past weekend! I originally had a reservation at a nearby sports bar, but when I got there, they told me there was a $50 minimum spend per person. Knowing my usual order, I knew I wouldn't hit that, so I forfeited my RSVP and walked around instead. That's when I saw Finney's. The first thing I noticed was the number of TVs, ideal for any big game, plus the space had a nice, modern vibe. Luckily, I only waited about 15 minutes for a seat. I ordered the yuzu buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, the Finney's burger, and a couple of drinks. Everything was delicious, and our server was super friendly. After the debacle at Han Korean BBQ joint (just about a block away), they wanted to charge my kid 20 bucks even though she wasn't gonna eat. She won't eat that type of food she's vegetarian and she's very picky about what she eats so we kept it pushing and I found Finney's. They were pretty busy there was an art fair going on so there's a lot of people walking around and stuff. It was really cool. Finney's smelled good and had the game playing. They were able to seat us right away and they weren't gonna charge me 20 bucks because my kid wasn't gonna eat. We were seated promptly sat down quickly and place our order fairly shortly after being seated. Our server was very friendly had great suggestions and I like that in a server. The food comes and it was good. A little bit more elevated bar food. They had the fun trivia game there so I love playing that played a couple rounds ended up being the winner. All in all, it was a nice save from the horror at Han Korean barbecue place. I mean, what a nightmare are they gonna charge babies because they're sitting at the table? Food, Service, and Ambiance are excellent here. The bison burger is as delicious as as any burger in the county. The cheese and sauce on there were extremely amazing. The sweet potato fries were excellent as well an so too were the arnold palmers which they kept coming. The Bavarian pretzel was incredible too, served with caramel sauce and two other sauces. We arrived around 3:45pm on Saturday and it was busy but not too busy so we got a table right away. Loved all the t.v's they had around the restaurant. We were able to watch the Chargers game. I ordered the grilled chicken club, my husband ordered Gary's pepperoni and my daughter ordered the smash burger with Tatar tots. They were cooked perfectly nice and toasty. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and plenty of fried food to share- sweet potato fries, tater tots, and onion rings We also went with Finneys Burger and the Caesar salad wrap. You can actually make any salad a wrap for an extra $1. At the end of your meal you can pay at your table using the little tablet they have stationed there. So easy to just pay and go. We stopped close to closing time and ended up grabbing a seat at the bar. Even though it was late, the bartender was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. The place was absolutely packed, both inside and outside, which says a lot about how popular it is. The atmosphere and energy were fantastic, and the vibe was definitely on point. The restaurant itself is huge, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and both areas were full during our visit. We ordered a couple of IPAs and some truffle fries, and both were excellent. The IPAs were really good, and the truffle fries were definitely a highlight of the night. We wish we had arrived earlier because the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, and it seems like this is a place known for more than just great drinks. Based on our experience, we'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. If the truffle fries and beer are any indication, we're looking forward to seeing what else they have to offer. Overall, Finney's Craft House has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent IPAs, and delicious truffle fries. It's easy to see why it's such a busy spot, and we can't wait to return. read more

Glad to have come across this place for a last minute bite to eat! My friends and I didn't have to wait long for a booth which was nice. The food and drink options were vast. I will say the brussels sprouts weren't that great, we prefer them crispy so they were a bit on the soft side. I ordered the ahi tuna nachos and they were delicious. We had a large party of eight people. We were there to watch game seven of the World Series. We got lucky in finding tables outside that we were able to watch the game from. I am really glad that they had those outdoor propane heaters. That came in handy. We had all kinds of food and appetizers and beer. Myself, I had an Arnold Palmer, which I had several refills of throughout the game. One of the things that we had that was really good was their pretzels. It came with a caramel dipping sauce. That was really good. We also shared the chicken quesadilla. The cheese pulled on that was ridiculous. Perfect. I had a lettuce cup or lettuce wrap entrée. That was really good too. I had to ask for more lettuce though. But still, the kitchen was happy to oblige. I was thankful for that. We also had a salad. I forgot the other items that we ordered, but we ordered more than $400 worth of food and drink. We had such an amazing time. Our waitress was actually a fairly new, incoming soon to be promoted manager. She was learning all the different positions at the restaurant, she explained. So this was her night to be a waitress on a very busy night. That was great. She was very sweet. You could tell she was not a first timer at food service. Later on in the evening, she shared with us as she worked at a different restaurant, but that they were forced to close for whatever reason and so she found her way to Finney's. Unfortunately, I have forgotten her name, but she was awesome. The restaurant was very crowded that night but still they were trying their best to be on top of everything and I have to say I felt like they did amazing job. Their food is better than just your average bar of food. They actually take a bit more care in the preparation. We had a lot of fun there. Too bad there are no more games anytime real soon. But I'm sure we will find a reason to go again. The bathroom situation here is kind of tied there are three small stalls in the women's. There is one family restroom. There is one men's restroom. Obviously, I couldn't tell you how many stalls are in there, but I think there are more than just one or two. The parking is another problem. There's plenty of parking in the downtown Burbank area. You just have to be lucky enough to find a spot. There are plenty of free lots that are adjacent to the restaurant at all within walking distance. And if you absolutely have to, you can park at the mall. I've seen plenty of people do it. read more

After we got out of the movie we came straight here. We were a party of 6 and were seated right away. It's a beautiful night on the patio. Our server Jenelle was very kind and so attentive! It was her second night and she did great! Someone took my To go leftovers but the manager replaced them with no issue. Jenelle also brought a nice treat for our friends AJ and Daniel who were celebrating their 9th anniversary. The food was all great and tasty. Drinks were all wonderful. I have been to the SB one, more times than I can count so I was super stoked to see one much closer to me in Burbank!! Hostess was sweet and sat us right away, and I happen to notice 3 other tables seated after us. (I watch these like a hawk!) Within 2 mins, the first table gets a server then the second one! We've been there for easily 10 minutes before I say wth?!? No one comes to us for over the next 5 minutes & now all three tables have been greeted/waited on. Yeah, I'm so bummed, we leave but I let the hostess know they need to fix their seating game. I might give them a chance someday but idk.
