Great setting - outside, convenient location, great menu, not awfully high prices. Food is good, kitchen is cracking. Everything tastes great no matter meat or not. The weak spit - service. Servers are nice. But it takes FOREVER to get food and drink. And training is not up to par with food. You got your order? Server is gooone. It's not like they're standing and chatting somewhere. They are running around. You can see them. I think the problem is absence of training and that this place is understaffed, for the weekend nights, especially. That's the best move of management usually, when saving money - have less employees that this kind of place requires, and make them work like crazy and taking customers.... But the spreadsheet looks really good for the owner. Have a cookie, management. Just give it a little time, your waiter is taking care of many others at the moment... I Let the manager know the pricing is a bit aggressive, he couldn't care less and blew me off. $150 before tip, I felt taken advantage of. Will never go back. My office is right next door to the Burbank Marriott so when I travel for work, I spend a good amount of time at EDB, the outside bar/restaurant at the Marriott. Their food is actually prepared in the connect "Daily Grill" restaurant but they have their own menu. There are usually 3 things I order here...the paella, the pepperoni pizza, or the chicken club. All are pretty solid. Today's server was Adrianna and everything went smoothly. Paella was as good as ever and loaded with sausage. CA weather is almost always nice and this is a great place to enjoy a meal or a drink. read more

This spot is so chill and fun. We got seated right away. The whole restaurant seemed like it was just patio seating. They had heaters and a cool bar to sit under. It is connected to a hotel which is convenient for guests, but it's also convenient for people like us who needed a place to eat before heading to the Burbank Airport. We were staying at the hotel and tried this place for dinner. This restaurant is an outdoor eating area. Hector was friendly and greeted us at the hostess stand, we were told to sit anywhere. Once seated we were brought menus, I asked for lemon water and was told there was a water drink station to help myself at the bar. The water was ok but not cold. The table of people next to me ordered water and they were told, ok I'll bring out water for everyone, which they all received, ice water. The chips and guac were really good, the shrimp cocktail sauce was good; but shrimp not very good, tough and very fishy tasting. Over all service was good. First of all run, don't walk to EDB Burbank. I had the pleasure of being helped by Urian! First, the setting and the vibes are impeccable for a nice summer nights. First of all, let me tell you about the amazing wings that they offer here, the jerk wings is a must! All their food and appetizers are so delicious! Now let's talk about the outside bar! Wow! Urian will now be my go to guy here when I visit, all the drinks and food were perfect and wish I had more room for more wings. I ate dinner one night while staying at the hotel for a conference. The service was great and my party of 8 was well taken care of! This spot can get busy but our waitress was so friendly. She even ended up splitting our receipts per person. I opted for the poké bowl, which was delicious! I loved the peppers for added heat. They have a cocktail menu with fun creations. I chose the jalapeño dreamin' and it was really good- basically like a spicy margarita. Others in my party really enjoyed the poké nachos. This is a fun spot! We were seeking a decent sit down restaurant near the Burbank Airport. We hit the jackpot with this place located right across the street from the airport. It even has its own driveway as it is at the front of the Marriott Hotel on Hollywood Way. (Turn into Marriott Drive). There is a parking lot but if you eat at the restaurant your parking is free. Going in you get a parking ticket that you then get a sticker from your server that makes it free when you leave. The menu is not large but they have great modern delicious foods to choose. There is a large square bar with TV sets on all sides for great viewing of sports. We were able to see the tv from our table with nice padded seats which surround the bar. The whole restaurant is on the front outside patio of the Hotel, right next to the entrance and front desk. We came in and saw plenty of seats and walked right over to the one we wanted and sat down. No need for reservations. I had made one but there was no one at the front desk to seat us so we sat ourselves. I liked that as we got to choose where. The waitress and cute perky girl named Katie came and brought us menus and got our drink orders right away. She was very sweet to us. Being my mom is 90 we appreciated her kindness. We got an appetizer of Edamame that was spiced so perfectly we ate it up. Then came our main dishes arriving quickly after our appetizer was removed. I got three sliders (smaller cheeseburgers? I asked for sides as I am particular about my burgers, and was delighted with their ability to satisfy all three things I wanted. Cheddar Cheese instead of American, blue cheese crumbles, and straight horseradish. The sliders also have dill pickle and their own sauces and with all my additions omg they were spectacular!!! My mom got a chicken salad and she loved it. My friend got a gumbo dish with shrimp and rice and veggies and she also really enjoyed it. Our food came out quickly after we finished the appetizer. We then met a handsome man named "U" and he looked important like the manager or something. We praised the restaurant and staff and he liked hearing that and was so kind to us. After we ate dinner, we got dessert. A large serving of caramel custard pudding with blueberries on top. It looked small in the jar it came it but was enough as we all ate with the three spoons they brought, and by the time the jar was empty everyone was smiling and fully sated. Loved this place and plan on returning even if we aren't going to the airport. My friend is a flight attendant for an airlines at burbank airport and we asked if they give discounts and our sweet waitress said yes!! For all the airlines at Burbank. So she gave us a 20% discount!!! This just made us all so happy. Free parking. Great service and food. Lovely surroundings outside patio with big palm trees and the hotel pool area next to it. Bar was surrounded by happy people and everyone enjoying themselves. We will certainly be back. So lovely there and such great food and service!! Five star treatment!!! Handicapped spots right in front for mom and me made it so so easy to get in and sit down. They take reservations but we didnt need them. Plenty of seats were available. read more

Sadly have to downgrade my review as management has decided to 1) severely curtail their once amazing menu 2) stop allowing you to order from the Daily Grill and 3) remove menus altogether so now you get a QR code on your table that my phone couldn't even read along with an annoying cocktail menu holder you can't remove so now you can't put plates flat on the table if you ordered more than one thing. This would be a three star review except for their one remaining flatbread is still stellar (if overpriced) and their amazing server Josh is FANTASTIC. This guy is a gem. If he wasn't there I probably would've left this place in a very foul mood, especially for how much I paid but this guy was worth every penny because of how comfortable and understanding he was with our group (especially after we were told they ran out of all draft beers??? And our side fries were literally a tiny bowl????) Anyway, Josh deserves everything but I probably won't come back until the management reverses their dumb decisions. Was looking for a new Bar & Grille to go to today and found one on Yelp; EDB. Turns out it was semi-poolside, outside of the Marriott across from the Burbank Airport. Pretty good vibe, decent fare and not ridiculously overpriced menu. The shaded side of the bar was fully occupied and it was a nice day, so I sat in the other side; mistake! The sun was HOT AF though and I had to shower after I got home since I melted. It's a hotel, so they probably stay fairly busy, but the staff seemed a little overwhelmed today, but also handled it professionally. As stated. It's at the Marriott, so there is a pay lot with tons of parking, but the bar does validate making it free! read more

A few months ago, EDB attempted some changes I didn't care for (QR menus on tables-type stuff), so I stayed away for a bit. Beautiful weather had me craving the Ahi Nachos, so I gave them another shot, and had a great experience. There are some friendly new faces (Natalia and Aerin) delivering exceptional service, and one of my favorites from the before times (Saul) is still here making it feel like home. I did look around, and the QR codes seen to have been removed, so let's call that a win. I don't want to be crowded out of one of my go-to spots, but E.D.B. is doing a lot of things right, and I wanted to let them know I've noticed. read more

Made a reservation for here at 7pm. Have had this place saved for a long time and was excited to see what it's like. There's a huge parking lot and spaces so you don't have to worry about that. The location it outside of the hotel and easy to spot I'm not truly sure what happened last night. We were asked to wait 5 mins to be sat even though it didn't look too busy. No biggie. Our waitress was great at first and offered me to sample the wines before committing to buying a glass. Very appreciated and she poured a big glass. We ordered dumplings and about 40 mins later i thought maybe they forgot about us. I asked for the check and let her know I'll go somewhere else since the dumplings still aren't here. She then found the dumplings near the bar and asked did i still want them and i didn't. Probably cold at this point lol read more

Worst poke bowl I've ever had . No sauce, no taste, pickled onion was the highligh... Hard to believe the "chef" even tasted that before adding it to the menu. Service was OK, and good IPA beer. So decent spot for a drink but I would stick to concierge lounge food if you have access to it, much tastier there. read more

I enjoyed this restaurant when I was staying at the Los Angeles Burbank, Marriott. It is conveniently located on the other side of the pool. It has access from the hotel and also from the parking lot. Open to hotel guests and general public. I was happy after a busy work day to just chill at the open air restaurant for a while without having to go out for dinner. It's mainly a drink, small bite bite and banter stop. I had pita with toasted cauliflower with humus. The food was ok. The pita could have been more fresh. I ate the humus and cauliflower. More nonveg options. read more

EDB is situated outside the hotel with a patio and bar. It was Thursday Night Football and they didn't have Amazon Prime to broadcast it. We (2 straight males) sat at one of the fire pits after a group left. 7 empty glasses were left behind by the group. I watched for about an hour as servers were zipping around helping folks. I then watched a server walk past us and all the empty glasses to then clean up a table with women sitting at it. It wasn't until I moved the glasses to an empty table that the server walked over to clean them up, while also giving me a dirty look. The flatbread pepperoni pizza was okay. The cheese wasn't all the way cooked and I got Pizza Hut vibes. I was not offered dipping sauce, Parmesan cheese, or crushed peppers. The table with the women were. I know this because we were right next to each other. The ambiance is nice, the food was okay, and the service was terrible. read more

We stayed there on a recent Saturday night as my son's soccer team was playing nearby. I met up with some of the parents at E.D.B and was pleasantly surprised by the vibe, the menu, the drinks, etc... The service was friendly at the bar, and the drinks were strong and tasty, but the food service was crazy SLOW. I was told it would be an hour from when I placed my food hour to when I got it, but it actually took closer to an hour and a half. On the bright side, the food we ordered was actually delicious! (Wings, cauliflower, and a large hot pretzel). If you're in the area, this is definitely a fun spot, just make sure you have time to hang / wait for your food if it's busy. read more

We were staying at the Marriot and this place was next door. We arrived about 8:30 and tables were available. They only have outdoor seating, lots of heat lamps and fire pits to warm you up. Spicy Tuna & Puffed Rice Bowl Salad This was a very tasty salad. Raw spicy tuna reminded me of poke in Hawaii. All the produce was fresh, generous with avocado, and the miso-ginger vinaigrette was the finishing touch. I am not a salad guy but I would order this again. Pepperoni Flatbread This was the best flatbread that I have eaten in a while. The crust was perfect. Our server was very attentive. read more
