I was in Burbank the entire day yesterday. Visiting a friend who lives not too far away from this Shakey's. She was so sick that I wanted to cheer her up and take her with me to have lunch together. But she turned me down saying that "she really can't get out of bed". First time at this Shakey's and will definitely not be the last. Walked in at 3pm yesterday, and got a nice greeting from Jeffrey. He was pleasant, and took my order and repeated my order back to me. Everything was correct & accurate, He also brought out my food in less than 30 minutes. They weren't that busy. I ordered their 12" medium size Veggie pizza that came with the following ingredients: mushrooms, tomatoes, green peppers, yellow onion, and black olives. All of my favorite ingredients. I also ordered 4 pieces of Fried Chicken(dark meat), and told their manager Alex, not to make them too greasy, nor salty. It was something in between. My Pizza tasted very fresh, delicious and very HOT! Piping hot. Regular size and the crust was super crispy. They have 2 BIG dining areas, an Arcade, at least 6-to 8 TVs, a salad bar, and also have buffet between the hours of 11AM to 2PM. I wanted to play some of the games inside the arcade, but will save that for another time. Has huge parking lot right behind the restaurant. 2 gender neutral restrooms. Restaurant was very clean, along with the restrooms. Fine music playing overhead from the 70s & 80's era. Thank you Alex, Jeffrey, management, and Shakey's. The only thing that kind of got to me, was that couple of employees past by my table and didn't bother to pick up the dirty dishes, and napkins. I asked Carlos to bring me a bag and take away the dirty stuff and he complied. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Clarence, the manager at Shakey's. Every time I visit, he goes above and beyond to make sure customers have an amazing experience. Clarence is professional, friendly, hardworking, and always greets people with a positive attitude and a smile. What stands out most is how much he genuinely cares about both the customers and his team. The restaurant is always well-organized, clean, and welcoming, which is a direct reflection of his leadership. Even during busy times, Clarence remains calm, attentive, and focused on making sure everyone is taken care of. His excellent customer service does not go unnoticed. Managers like Clarence are rare, and he is a huge reason why I continue coming back to Shakey's. Thank you, Clarence, for all of your hard work and for consistently making every visit enjoyable. You truly set the standard for outstanding management! read more

Always have to make a Shakey's stop when in SoCal and this location has good service, lots of parking, good staff, and delicious pizza of course. The store appearance is classic and still works well. Online ordering was a little tricky but pick up was a breeze. We sat down to enjoy a few slices as soon as we picked up our boxes. Booth seats were comfy and the place was in good order. We got there before a rush so it was all fresh and tidy still. read more

The food is delicious here, especially at the Burbank location. Fried chicken came out so hot, I had to wait to for it to cool down before digging in. Same with the mojo potato's, very fresh and hot and the pizza too. I love their supreme pizza with everything on it and endless fountain drink. Nice family oriented atmosphere, lots of bdays being celebrated. Little fun zone for the kids. The service was impeccable. We were constantly waited on, the table cleared of clutter and the food just kept coming. I'd visit here again and again! read more

Shakey's Pizza Parlor - Celebrating Justin's bday! - Pizza Near Me - Burbank, California

When ever I go to Shakey's we always get the AYCE lunch. Its just the plain and simple, and the best. One day I felt like pizza and brought my niece with me. She french fries and fried food, but never had a mojo potato before. It was time to show her whats up. There are a good variety of food items to choose from. Selections from different pizza, pasta, fried chicken, mojo potato, salad, and dessert. It was a good time, we were nicely fed, and happy. Parking: in rear, street VERDICT: Rinse and repeat read more

The Burbank Shakey is huge! There are 2 dining rooms and a huge parking lot. Great place for parties. I came here for nostaic purposes and honestly the Pizza was fine... Still that unique tangy sauce I remember from my childhood days... However, the Chicken and Mojo's were sooo good. I forgot how much I like their chicken and mojo potatoes. The service was decent. All the staff we encountered were really nice. They made a mistake and brought us Mojo Potatos twice, but when we pointed out we already got it, our server just shrugged and said, "I know, we just made a mistake" and left the potatos. I was so happy to have more. Being back at Shaleys made me happy like when I was a kid. I would honestly keep returning cuz I liked what I ordered. read more

I came to Shakey's around 8 PM. I quickly ordered a beer, two pieces of chicken (leg and thigh), and a small pepperoni, cheese, and pineapple pizza. Not bad, an easy and fast dinner. The highlight was the crust very thin and crunchy. Good price. read more

Shakey's is Shakey's - it's a dependable pizza chain that's good for groups, dates, parties, or if you just want affordable food. This Burbank location is just as good as any we've been to. The interior is clean, the arcade is filled with kids, the pizza is decently priced... what's not to like? It's also got a good amount of parking, both in the parking lot out back and on the street. read more

Great experience at this location. Everything was clean, the food was hot and chicken crispy. Our order came out quickly and the location was not too packed. The person that brought out our food was really nice and came back to see if we needed anything else. The only con I have is the arcade. It's so. Expensive to play when half of the games are $1 vs. $.50. I understand that they have to profit; however, due to the size of the arcade, I think it could be more reasonable. Anywho, this location brought back so many memories of AYSO team parties, where it kept the old but modernized it. read more

I went here on Saturday. I liked that there's a salad bar since I'm health conscious. I didn't know there was rotisserie chicken or baked chicken. It tasted better than the fried chicken. What a waste of 20 bucks I went in here expecting the usual delicious pizza mojo wings and salad bar and boy was I disappointed. The pizza was horrible I've been to all the Shakey's down south and this one really really disappointed me pizza had no flavor it had no Tang or zest to it like it usually does. The rest of the salad bar was amazing minus the meatballs for the pizza but the chicken off the chain Mojo's up to par like always salad bar was fresh all the toppings everything was amazing I tried a little bit of everything the only thing I really didn't like was the pizza and the meatballs. I will say it was very clean they kept everything full and the sodas and water were on point. Oh yeah one more thing I went to grab the sausage and pepperoni pizza and it had one piece of sausage on it and only a few pieces of pepperoni. Let me out this was the first time I ever went to this Shakey's Pizza. read more

Food quality was quite poor. The pasta is basically Ragu sauce and plain noodles. The chicken was very salty and dry (even though they had a fresh batch out). Pizza all tasted the same and quality was not great. The dough was too doughy. They had a smore dessert pizza that was heavy and doughy. Servers were nice but had to flag them down, which makes sense for a buffet. Music was very loud and there were lots of kids screaming around the small arcade area. Plates were not really washed well. Value was not there. $16+ tax for salty, poor quality food. I could only eat 2-3 slices of pizza because it tasted meh. Was meh experience and I wouldn't come back. read more

I went to check out Shakey's because I've never had it before. With the current price of pizza and chicken these days, I think the PCM is a pretty good deal. They had a lunch buffet that is probably the best deal. The chicken was freshly made and the mojos are nice. The pizza is okay, but it was my least favorite of the 3. It does have a nostalgic childhood taste so if you grew up with this, you probably will still enjoy this. read more

I love coming to this place since it's close by home , but yesterday I had a bad experience with a server who was just rude and didn't talk which I find that rude since u need some kind of costumer service to be working there she just seem bored and tired. She had like red color hair didn't get her name. I had dropped my whole pizza accidentally yes it was my fault but instead of her asking to clean the table or any help she ran away like if she was scared of the situation. I dropped the pizza so idk what was her issue not even giving her costumer service . Instead had to get up order my new pizza and asked for it to get cleaned since the pizza was all over the seats and floor. read more

This is really the last old school nostalgia Pizza Parlor type of place that I'm aware. I didn't grew up in California, so the nostalgia is not really there for me for this brand specifically, but it definitely harkens back to my high school years and it was always enjoyable to come to the lunch buffet w my work colleagues, but I don't work near one anymore, and when I came in on the weekend, I found out they didn't have the buffet which I was looking so forward to! They can get super busy, but the staff stays pretty efficient and pleasantly professional. Depending on how busy it gets, it can start to look shoddy if they have too many tables get up at once, but they're generally quick to clean things up as fast as they can. You'll always get hot fresh food (unless it's a crisp cold salad) and it's mostly still a value compared to today's overpriced world. read more

The fried chicken was incinerated for DELIVERY$$$ we ordered four breasts and we received two! We called Clarence the mgr. and he said they forgot to pack the other half of our order but told us if we would do another DELIVERY$$$ reorder they would add it to our order. That equals DOUBLE!! What we paid for!! Not once did he say come by and we'll give you what you originally paid for but instead not my problem deal with DELIVERY $$$ Shakeys is by far the biggest rip off out there and counting pennies!
