On Glenoaks there are so many shawarma places to choose from, but this place really stands out in the crowd! We actually went to another local spot that was closed so we re-routed here because it was the best looking option within 5 minutes of where we were. It's a small, clean shop with a counter to order. It looks like they probably do a lot of take out. They have a nice outdoor patio area. The menu is large with standard shawarma items, but also the flat bread stuff too. We got a lamb shawarma wrap, a chicken shawarma sandwich and a beef bowl along with a couple of lahmajun and a fresh baguette and baklava. Everything was excellent! The lamb was incredible, very tender and flavorful in a nice lavaosh. The chicken had great seasoning and the fresh bread was so good. Both were very large, like almost too much for one person. The bowl had pickles and great flavors. The lahmajun with cheese was my favorite but both were very good. The workers were friendly and helpful. Found this spot on yelp and decided to try it. I went with the pork shawarma wrap. The wrap was of a very large size and filling. The pork had a nice flavor and was juicy and tender. The lavash bread itself I thought was a little too thick, which slightly took away from the flavor of the pork and the veggies with the sauce. All in all, a good pork shawarma. The customer service was very friendly and they have a comfortable storefront patio with nice chairs and tables. Would try this spot again! read more
