I usually don't leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. The food had a strong chemical taste--almost like a cleaning product--which made it completely inedible. We tried calling the restaurant right away, but they wouldn't answer. Strangely, when my husband called back from a different number, they picked up immediately. As soon as he began explaining the issue, they cut him off, said "no, no," and hung up. My husband drove to the place since it's nearby, and the person there was incredibly rude and aggressive instead of trying to fix the problem. There was absolutely no attempt at customer service, no apology, and no professionalism. This was not only disappointing but concerning from a health and safety standpoint. Grabbed food here after finishing my shopping at Jons. The person was very friendly. Food came out in about 15 minutes or so which isn't bad at all I got a chicken shawarma and a coke zero. Now I guess it's a new ownership and better quality. The main dish here is chicken and pork wraps. I tried the pork with fries and jalapeños inside - highly recommends. Pickled jalapeños so not spicy just some extra flavor, the wrap is saucey but good enough amount. Pork is sliced very thinly, which gives the flavor and crispiness. I made a pit stop for a few things at Jons and walked out thinking I'll pick up some shawarma from some place. Lo and behold I see the truck parked on Glenoaks, right in front of where I'm parked. I figure it must be a sign. After I put my groceries away, I go to order. Guess what guys? It's a super easy menu as there are only 2 options! Decide if you want chicken or pork. They make them into "sandwiches", I'd actually call it a burrito. It must've been pressed with a panini press or something because it was perfection (which is why I wish I had taken a pic). The flavor was delicious! And inside it had a combination of chicken, Tomatoes, Cabbage, Pickles, Onion, and Sauce. Everything was diced up so perfectly inside. The way the burrito was wrapped was literally perfection. It didn't tear or unravel at all. They put a great amount of meat and other ingredients as well. Did I mention that I live an hour away and it was still warm in the box when I got home? Overall, I was very satisfied and will definitely be back as well as tell my friends and family. I ordered the chicken shawarma on its own. I got home 30 minutes later to find it still warm and smelled very savory. Food: I have to honestly say I was expecting a different flavor, but this was just as good in its own way. It was more of a creamy savory wrap. The first several bites was absolutely phenomenal, but the 4th - 5th bite it started to feel too heavy. I think a little more acidity will help. I started mixing in the pickled japelenos. The wraps are around $15 which is on the pricier side, but the size of the wrap and the quality definitely makes up for it! The best of the wrap is the sauce. The sauce that they use is very different, almost taste like a chipotle aioli sauce (not sure if it's actually that lol). It was also super big so it was very filling.
