I'm not sure what happened, but sadly the food didn't taste anything like it used to. I usually enjoy writing positive reviews about the places we visit, and there were definitely some things we appreciated here. The ambiance is very nice, especially the little backyard, which was charming and relaxing. The restaurant was also very clean, which is something I always value. The service was excellent. Even though there were only two staff members and they were very busy, they were friendly, attentive, and did their best to help everyone. I ordered the chicken plate with salad, and my husband ordered the fish plate. Unfortunately, both dishes lacked flavor and were quite bland, which was disappointing. The vegetables looked like they had been sitting out all day, and the pita was stale around the edges. Every bite was disappointing. The cashier was nice and very quick, she immediately addressed me right when i walked in. I ended up ordering 3 lule kebab sandwiches but i substituted the sides for hummus and tabuleh instead. It's one of the cheaper Middle Eastern establishments in the area - of which there are many - and their dishes are very healthy and filling. Casual indoor area to dine.
