Date of visit: January 11, 2026 Selections: Sliders Family Charbox - Eight sliders with cheese - Four sides: French fries, onion rings, tempura green beans, sweet potato fries - Four housemade ranch sauces Fountain drink Experience: Came here with my friends and husband and we decided to split the Sliders Family Charbox between the four of us since it sounded like a good deal and had to order drinks separately since they didn't come with the meal. It was pretty busy in store with people coming one after the other, so we were lucky that we got a table, even though it wasn't too clean. I decided to get Dragonfruit Limeade mix with their tea and grabbed a small cup of peppers for my meal from their sauce and pepper bar. The food finally came out and I was excited to dig in. We each got two sliders and I liked the size of them cause I'm the type of person that eats burgers with utensils if available or tear it into smaller pieces if possible cause I personally don't like biting into them if it's messy. They were juicy and tasty. The sides were great too, except for the tempura green beans. Tempura was great, just don't like green beans in general. This Habit Burger is great. It can get crowded, but the line moves fast. You simply go to the counter, order your food and they will let you know when it is ready. They also deliver and you can call ahead for take away. The place is always clean and they do have tables to eat, but they don't have enough. The service is very nice and they usually get your order right the first time, but do check your bag. They have great burgers, fries, drinks and shacks. They also have chicken sandwiches and they have vegan burgers. I have never tried their vegan burger, but people in line have told me they are good. All of their food is very good and you will like it. It is something of a large chain now, I think owned by Yum!, which owns other fast food places. They used to have a "secret menu", but not so much anymore. They have the Santa Barbara Char (avocado, cheese, grilled onions on sourdough) and the Half & Half (fries & onion rings), but you can still customize burgers with additions like avocado, garlic mushrooms, or lettuce wraps. Finding a parking spot should not be a problem unless it's holiday season. We dined in and couldn't wait to leave. Tables were filthy and people staring our table while we were finishing up our food was so uncomfortable. We didn't stay long. Before leaving, I got takeout for the rest of my family and the order was INCORRECT. Teriyaki burgers and they forgot saucing it up. No big deal, I have teriyaki sauce at home. Again, it's a BUSY location. Staff/burger chefs overwhelmed. For this area, I prefer the Habit's La Cañada Flintridge location they take better care of quality control and are friendlier environment overall. read more

My favorite thing here is a chicken sandwich wrapped in lettuce with bbq sauce. Wow yum. It's nice when you get the booths to sit at, makes it comfortable. And the ordering on the machines makes it easy, and the staff are there to help if you need. read more

I've never had Habit burger before. I've stayed away from mixed reviews from acquaintances. The steak sandwich is great. I got it because they mentioned in the menu that it was new. The onion rings were unspectacular but ok. Next time I'll get the sweet potato fries. read more

few days ago, I went out to eat with my daughter at this place, and we were kindly assisted by Juan. He repeated our order back to us and was very polite. His colleague, who was standing right next to him, told us that he would bring my milkshake over to our table. We were nearly finished eating when Juan--who was walking around checking to ensure everything was in order and clean--noticed that the milkshake had never been delivered to us. He quickly went to make it himself and brought it over, offering us an apology. Meanwhile, his colleague--a short, Hispanic man seemed more focused on watching Juan's movements than on attending to the customers. It is a shame that Juan appears to be the only employee who truly strives to do his job well and treat customers with respect. read more

Somehow this burger place surpasses the category of 'fast food joint' - although the service is speedy. I used to occasion the Habit Burger locations in Ventura and Santa Barbara so I already had in mind my order when I arrived- the grilled ahi tuna 'sandwich' which is a slab of fresh tuna steak, grilled lightly, and I order it lettuce wrapped. So amazing. The little 'wax peppers' at the condiment bar are a great compliment. Fast and convenient- delicious grilled foods, and there are healthy choices/options, if you don't want the fries, bacon cheeseburger and shake type meal- which they also serve. First time to this Habit. Much smaller than the one located on Sunset in LA. Seating either inside or outside. My daughter ordered the chicken caeser salad. It was good, but I think there was too much dressing. I got the green beans. Very good, but tastes better with the dip which unfortunately didn't come with my order. Because they weren't busy, our order came fairly quickly. Would I come back? Sure, but I think we need to ask next time to not drown the salad in dressing. This was the first time I had stopped into this Habit Burger Grill in Glendale. It's located in a pretty big plaza with lots of other retail stores. I've been to many other locations and this was another great restaurant of theirs. The store is closer to the front of the street next to the fountain. Compared to other stores It is a bit smaller but it does seem a little bit wider only because it's on the corner of this plaza. Be sure to sign up for their mailing list Char Club because they tend to have different promotions throughout the year. The char burger and the char burger with cheese are some of their staple burgers. The Santa Barbara char is a great twist specially with the sourdough bread and also the avocado. There's also different varieties here. Some of their family meals are a great variety that come with salad, fries or onion rings, and different burgers or chicken sandwiches. The parking situation can get a bit crowded here. The spots are little bit smaller and there are a good amount of cars here too so use your best judgment. read more

Service sucks here especially the lady at the register. She basically ripped us off and made my dad pay more money for drinks and fries. The whole dinning area was filthy. All of the tables needed wiping down. When I went back to the register to ask for her to wipe down our table she was not happy she wipes down our table throwing the crumbs onto the bench seats didn't pick them up and didn't dry down our table. Once again the desire/need/desperation for a Fountain Diet Coke or Pepsi came upon me today after a particularly long, energy sapping dental appointment. And yes once again since i was in house i ordered a Char Steak Burger and since i expectedly mis-used the auto order deck and ordered 2 diet drinks the manager on duty let me choose an order of delicious, hot, fat fries. Lucky me! I ordered: A Steakhouse Char Burger on SD white bread An Order of Fries Large Diet Pepsi The Fries are first rate, They come out Hot, Salty and Meaty. They are definitely not shoestring style or steak style which is broader and heavier. But these were a perfect foil for the Fountain drink and the Burger. The Steakhouse Burger has i think 2 of what we used to call a Chopped steak or a Swiss Steak patty. This is served on Sliced white bread which became quickly drenched with meat juice (not a particularly bad thing) and a couple of grilled schrooms. Good, Not Great. The Fountain drink was perfectly mixed in the machine as in the mix of carbonated water and soft drink syrup. Refreshing! Next time i will check out the Mushroom burger again and the Veggie burger: they sound delish. This unit has seen better days and is worn looking just from being very busy which i was at 3pm today, a Monday. In other words: a renovation/refreshing is needed here.
