Let me start with saying I love Jones coffee. I frequently visit the location on Raymond Ave. However, my visit at the hut location today was not pleasant. I recently had a baby and I'm 20 days postpartum so I require caffeine. I drove to the hut with the intention of ordering something new as I wanted a sweet treat/drink. I normally order a plain latte or cappuccino. That being said, when I got to the window I asked for a menu.. the male barista who was set to take my order said, "fine". When he came back to hand my husband the menu he said with sass, "...this is a COFFEE SHOP." That remark was rude and completely unnecessary. We obviously know that. The decoration and prints plastered on the hut scream coffee- thank you very much. The drink I had was delicious as always, so that was great after such a distasteful experience. I won't be visiting this location again if this is the attitude that will be given moving forward. read more

The place is very vibey. It's a hut with a friendly staff that seem to know coffee well. The art on the hut is super unique and full of life (local LA vibe). The address on this page is going take you the back alley, make sure you stay on the main road when pulling up. This place is perfect as a drive thru coffee shop (limited parking but not impossible). This little drive thru coffee stand is just the cutest. I love the festive exterior. It's also a neat concept. I pulled in the other day for a cup of Joe to go on my way to the gym. Even though it was 6:30 am a bright & cherry Ryan greeted me. I'm a fan of Jones' coffee, especially the cortado, but today I wanted something special, so I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte with almond milk. My beverage was ready in a few minutes, and I was on my way. The foam was thick & creamy. The beans were perfectly roasted, and I could taste the spices, which reminded me of fall. I LOVE this spot. I used to drive by all the time wondering where this mysterious "hut" was that everyone talked about. Turns out, it's tucked right in the storage company's parking lot. This place does not disappoint for coffee lovers. This is a must try if you have not been here yet. There is no dine in, but it's all takeout. Either you drive through or you park your car and order at the window. I ordered the caramel iced latte and I have been ordering this for quite a while. To me, this is better than any other coffee places. The service is very quick and efficient. The staffs are very helpful and kind and welcoming to their customers. The ambiance here is quite colorful on the outside. But I highly recommended to everyone to come visit this place and grab a nice hot cup of coffee. It will be worth your while. read more

I pass by this coffee shop all the time and finally decided to give it a try for the first time today. It's literally a hut with an option to walk up and order or drive thru. The drive thru line is always long. I walked up the counter and ordered a large iced caramel latte. The large is actually a size of a Starbucks grande drink. I thought it was pricey for $6.55 given its size. It was pretty good though. I can really taste the espresso and the drink is not overly sweet and creamy. I wanted to try their blueberry almond muffin, but they were sold out. I would return here to try their other menu items. read more

After stopping at the doctor's office last week, we decided to try this cute little coffee hut that we've seen before. The little drive through coffee hut also has a sidewalk window for walk up ordering. There were 3 baristas inside preparing orders. On the drive through side, I spotted some baked goods, but I didn't look close enough for their list of bakery offerings. They had a menu posted on the glass of their drinks and they were helpful to suggest drinks to try depending on our preference for stronger coffee flavor vs milky flavor. We ordered an iced latte w/ simple syrup and a cappuccino w/ a pack of raw brown sugar. We both liked our coffees and will be back. read more

First time here..... not welcoming at all! No good morning, how are you doing. NOTHING! Placed the order, paid and she just turned around and didn't say anything to me. it's my first time ordering a drink from there so I am clueless of what I'm selecting. They gave me a drink and I kindly asked to add milk last minute. I think if you want to add things to your drink last minute or if it doesn't look right I'm going to let the staff know to fix it. I'm not paying for something that I AM NOT GOING TO ENJOY! I asked to add milk, staff is whispering, looking at us weird! And i over heard a staff say " it's Friday people don't want to mess with me, not today not today". SOOO UNCOMFORTABLE! if your job is a barista I think you should be a morning and a people person. For the astronomically high price of thirteen American dollars I was able to acquire a lukewarm vanilla iced oatmilk latte that tasted like nothing and an extremely stale chocolate croissant that I believe came from a Kirkland Signature pack of 16 which retails for $9 at Costco. I've been working in Pasadena now about a month and always looking for new coffee spots to stop at. Well, I noticed this small hut that seemed to have a line of cars (they have walk up and drive through option) so decided to stop by one day the line wasn't crazy packed. The coffee is good, the simple latte was mild but didn't have the punch I usually look for in coffee. But they still get 4 stars because the staff was nice and very patient. I would stop by again if the line isn't crazy. They do have pastries available as well but I can see how stopping by here consistently is a challenge as the line of cars can get long. read more

I usually love coming to Jones Coffee Hut for a cold brew and an almond croissant, and I always bring my puppy because she looks forward to the little treats they give her. It's been a nice routine. But honestly, the service hasn't been great, and the last two times I was there--including today--the woman and the guy working had really bad attitudes. When I decided not to tip this time, my puppy was trying to get a treat by the window, and when I asked the lady, she just said "um, ok" like she didn't care at all. Stumbled on this little coffee shop at 7am because I wanted to try something new in the area. I mean it when I said it's little. It is a tiny drive thru coffee shop legit! The building looks cute on the outside, an artsy feel, but the workers' service not so much welcoming. When I told the workers it's my first time so I might need a minute to decide what I want (I showed them I was on yelp looking at the menu) and I even apologized for will be taking a while (there was no car behind me), two workers at the window just shrugged and left to do something else, and the guy was like "oh ok, you can see this menu." It's a nice gesture but his tone was just meh, it was weird. So I felt rushed and decided to get the Au Lait hazlenut flavor. But when I told him my order, he questioned me that it's just coffee and milk foam on the top and if I am ok with that. I was confused because their menu stated the Au Lait's description clearly underneath it, also he almost got my order wrong because he missed the hazlenut part, I had to correct him. Overall, the coffee was alright, didn't taste amusing to me. I ended up taking it home and put more oat milk and creamer in it so the coffee taste is more rich and good. Jones Coffee Hut is a hidden gem, truly pretty hidden. I drove by here for about a year without even knowing that they were open or that they were an extension of Jones Coffee. They are soo convenient, especially because it's a drive-thru but you can also walk up. They're super efficient too! Great customer service! I like coming here after grabbing a breakfast burrito from Lucky Boy, perfect weekend breakfast. Oh and they've been super careful during this pandemic time. They're always wearing masks. read more

So glad to have recently discovered Jones coffee roasters! We've been getting fresh beans from here to make pour over coffee. The staff here is very friendly and will let you sample different ones if they have them on tap. The beans are very high quality and uniform, the tasting notes are very helpful though I'm not sure we are quite there yet with our taste buds. This particular location has a very cozy outdoor area with some yard games and AstroTurf. I assume it's pet friendly because I always see dogs hanging out enjoying some outdoor time. Tables are socially distanced and it's a good environment. There is a parking lot but if that's full there's free parking on the street as well. Highly recommend! read more

Jones hut has good coffee, not great, it's convenient because you don't have to get out of your car and just buy it then get back on the road again. But I only have a few cons, the coffee is sometimes still warm from my iced latte or iced americano, it's expensive, and they only have 1 size for iced drinks. This is my honest opinion and because of that I don't think I will be going anymore. 1 iced americano is now $6.17 for a medium drink. They have only one type of espresso, so I am getting the bare minimum for a high price. read more

After years of passing by this adorable little hut, I finally visited on Friday morning! I tried their cold brew coffee, and a beautiful pastry (similar to a cheese danish with berries on it). I remember the total being less than $10 which is always great. The coffee really was tasty. I didn't even need to use cream because it had wonderfully bold flavor. The service was efficient and gracious. I will absolutely return in the future and would prefer to spend my hard earned money at this type of local establishment versus a Starbucks! read more

One reason is when staff walk to the car to take the order and don't write it down.
