Loved the ambience and the drinks. Daughter ordered a lavender matcha and I ordered an ice tea. Both very good! Free WiFi on weekdays! Large patio for the doggies and large parking lot is a major plus for the area!
I recently visited again and got the strawberry almond croissant. It's still very delicious, but the price has gone up and they're now $8.50 each. I also tried the iced vanilla latte, and it was pretty good. It had a strong espresso flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. The first coffee I had here was the hot vanilla latte, which I didn't like because it tasted watered down. So I was hesitant to try another coffee here, but I'm glad I gave it another try because I actually really liked the iced vanilla latte.
I regret not trying one of the floral latte options but, I will on my next visit. But, when I found out the syrups are homemade, I just had to try the vanilla. It was actually really good. I like that they kept the flavor subtle, and exactly where it needed to be to complement their brew. It was also very creamy, quite delightful. The cafe has a lot going on, a strong vibe that I think many would appreciate. My visit was short and quick, but still enjoyable. The cashier recommended my flavor, saying it's her favorite, and she didn't let me down. Nice job, good coffee.

Wild Parrot Brewing Company opens at 3pm. Anyone sitting on the brewery orange side will need to vacate unless they become a brewery customer. I believe there is no wifi during the weekends. Best place to wifi in east Pasadena!

The croissant is perfectly flaky. A 10/10. I got the ice Oatmilk latte with simple syrup -my go to drink and it did not disappoint . Happy to be back !

Inside is decorated simple more than anything special. Free WiFi and a few charging outlets along the walls. It is quite loud with the music and machine sounds, so noise cancelling headsets are a must. There is also outdoor seating under nice trees.
I love this coffee shop! It's so spacious inside with plenty of seating. Came here to cowork with a friend, and it was the perfect spot. We actually sat at the bar for a while and then moved to one of the communal picnic style tables. Love that there's a bar inside that opens at 3 pm too. We might come back for trivia night! Ordered a cappuccino and a vegetarian breakfast burrito. The coffee was so smooth. I really liked the taste. They roast their own beans in one of those big machines, which is pretty cool. Burrito was also pretty good! They crisp it on a panini press. The green sauce really made it though. It reminded me of a mint chutney or something. Love the concept of this place and that they have community programs that help kids get jobs. I hope they open more locations, but I will definitely be back!

My nieces ordered: peach lemonade and a Salted Rose Matcha and I ordered a hot rosebud chai with rose syrup. We also ordered a Melt on sourdough. Everything was really good! There's outside seating as well so we opted to do that! Definitely worth coming back!
The interior is huge and spacious! I went around 2 on a Tuesday and it was pretty crowded. Lots of people on their laptops so seems like a good spot for working. They have a front and back patio and parking lot in the back. The cashier wasn't very friendly and didn't greet me. Didn't talk much. I ordered a macchiato and blueberry muffin. The macchiato was not drinkable. I am not sure if it's the beans but the drink was not smooth and very bitter. The blueberry muffin looks like there was a bite taken out of it. The blueberries in the muffin were tart and didn't taste very fresh. Would not come back.
There is plenty of parking on the street and in the back of the coffee shop. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered seasonal toast that had apples. It was very fresh, and the bread was soft and crisp at the edges. I also got a flat white and it was great. I came here with a friend to catch up and it is a great place to do that. I definitely want to come back and try other items on their menu.
I absolutely love this place! The coffee is always delicious, and I especially love when Anna creates those beautiful coffee designs. She is always smiling, respectful, positive, and so welcoming. Emma and the rest staff are very kind and helpful, the food is always fresh, and the atmosphere feels so warm and family-friendly. I really enjoy coming here, and I usually stop by once or twice a week. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite spots! A big thank-you to all the employees for their hard work, especially during the busiest times. Even when it gets very busy, they continue to serve everyone with a smile and so much patience. I give this place 10 out of 10! Thank you all for your wonderful service!
Pre-wedding caffeine fuel Food: Colorado Breakfast Sandwich I appreciate the choice of thick sourdough like English muffin (4/5). It was pipping hot so the egg was enjoyable (sometimes places do not heat up throughly). I asked to remove the bacon and the cashier was so gracious and suggested a substitute instead which the Turkey was great! This held me over until after the ceremony. Drink: Of course a seasonal pumpkin pie latte is the only fitting drink haha The espresso did the work well, but the syrup was a bit lacking tasted more artificial (3/5). My taste buds needed more pie spice and the dazzle PSL vibe which I would try another drink next time. A small pro is their ice size. Ambiance: A wide range of customers on their computers studying / working remote which infers great wifi, computer outlets and table arrangements. I loved the in-house brewery tank to add a little touch Service: The cashier was kind and sweet! She offered suggestions and items executed in a timely manner. All employees displayed their happy countenance with smiles to everyone that's a 5/5

I've been to Rosebud once before mainly because it's conveniently close to where I'm getting my car serviced, so being able to walk here is definitely a plus. I really like the concept of this place being a coffee shop during the day and a brewery later on. It gives the space a relaxed, chill atmosphere that I can appreciate. Unfortunately, the food and drinks just didn't do it for me this time. I ordered the $9 sub, which was premade and had that unmistakable straight-from-the-fridge hard bread situation. Plus, it could use some mayo, or at least some kind of sauce. For $9, I expected better and definitely wouldn't spend the money on it again. The hojicha latte was another miss. I've had hojicha plenty of times and usually love its smooth, roasty flavor, but this one wasn't sweet or creamy enough for my taste and came across a little too straight-up. The raspberry cream on top didn't add much flavor either. I also grabbed a day-old pastry. It was pretty hard and had a slightly stale crème-brûlée-like top, although I'll give it credit -- once warmed up, it was actually pretty delicious. Overall, 3 stars. I like the concept and the convenience, but unfortunately nothing I had was quite good enough to make me want to come back anytime soon. read more

This will be my second time coming here and oh my have things changed since I was last here. Came with my best friend on a wonder Sunday morning and to also get my Pasadena Coffee Passport stamped. They have plenty of street parking by the way. I noticed they have added outdoor seating, what a plus! This place was amazing! There's a nice sized parking lot in the back but if it's busy, it can fill up. Both indoor seating and also outdoor tables in the back lot in case you have pets. I ordered the bacon burrito and the green salsa/sauce it came with was so good. Although it could be filled up a little bit more. Then my plate was brought to the table it seemed small compared to the rest of the plate. Then I got a lavender latte and it was perfection. The staff was super friendly. Nataly recommended the cinnamon roll and that was sooo good. It didn't end up making it to the photo it was quickly inhaled by the table. But I would order the cinnamon roll again in the future. read more

I love coming here for their flat white and lattes! The ambiance is really cozy with plenty of indoor seating and parking in their back lot. It's a great spot to get work done at and I love coming here for my morning cup of coffee. They also serve an assortment of pastries and so far I've tried their chocolate croissant and the strawberry almond croissant which were both really tasty though pricey. They don't charge extra for alternative milks so I like getting their flat white with almond milk. The coffee beans are roasted in-house and I love how smooth their coffee is. Have been coming here ever now and then for years, but I just never got around to writing a review. The drinks are always delicious and the staff super friendly. This time we got a ginger honey latte and a butter pecan chai. The ginger honey latte predominantly tasted like ginger and rosemary, which I loved. Perfect festive flavors for the holidays. The butter pecan chai was very buttery and tasty. I usually prefer my chai a little spicier but it was still great. Will be back soon for sure! read more

Very nice energized atmosphere. Yes it's laid back but with a warm welcoming social oriented vibe. This is the kind of place you'd expect on the beach and having some coffee or drinks with friends Coffee was actually well balanced and not bitter. I would highly highly recommend this place. I love Pasadena but it's far! I wanted to try this place in the area so I drove out here. The coffee wasn't as good as I'd like. Next time I'll def add extra shot to make it stronger. Otherwise the cafe was clean and the service was fast! No other complains! Great ambiance and friendly service. The latte was spot on--perfectly extra hot, just as I requested. The Spicy Bird sandwich, however, was a letdown. It lacked the spice promised in its name and tasted a bit bland overall. Maybe it's just my palate, but there was an ingredient with an off-putting smell that didn't sit well with me either. This place is highly recommended by one of my foodie friends. It's her favorite place to hang and to relax herself all the time. As soon as I walk in, the spacious and cozy environment totally amazes me. I spent time to walk around and give myself a quick tour before I place my order. People are very nice and friendly. Felt so welcomed here. Lavender latte is super refreshing and the fragrance of lavender is long lasting in my mouth for the rest of my afternoon. Rosebud Coffee was the spot I came to on a Saturday morning to get some work done. I visited the store at around 9:30 am and knew it was going to be busy. They have free parking in the lot, but it was nearly full by that time. After heading inside, I needed to wait a bit before I could order. I ordered a lavender latte and only waited a few minutes before it was ready. It was just okay, nothing amazing. As I searched for an opened table, I saw there were a few options inside left. Fortunately, I was able to grab the table with an outlet. Despite getting an outlet, I soon discovered that they do not provide the WiFi on the weekend. At that point, I needed to resort to my hotspot, because I was using a laptop for work. In terms of noise level, this place was very loud. There were consistently a lot of other customers, but it's also a very social spot. Note: American Express is accepted. read more

It's definitely a place you can chill at, do homework, etc. They have many different types of pastries and burritos as well! I tried the matcha donut and it was really good, very soft. I was looking for a space to work on a Sunday. I came across Rosebud in a blog post, and it seemed to fit the bill really well. I specifically came here to work, as I don't have the environment at home. I was disappointed to see a sign on the table that read: "No laptops on this table between 11am - 11pm. You may look for another table or work on the patio." I found a small table without a sign. There was a convenient counter next to it - I went to place my phone, but noticed another sign: "Please help us keep the counter area clear." I decided I could work with it and fit my stuff on the tiny table. I went to ask about WiFi and was answered with: "We don't have WiFi on weekends" I can see they are trying to create a culture of "presence" here. There's a great community vibe: lots of people socializing, great coffee + pastries, and they share a space with a brewery. I need "third spaces" at this point in life, and cafes are one of my go-to's. This is my first time experiencing this.. I suppose having a business gives the owners the opportunity to shape the culture how they want to see it. It was a bittersweet experience: I was disappointed by the forced way of doing things ("you shouldn't be working on weekends"), but the coffee was good. Due to Pasadena health department guidelines, only service animals are allowed inside. However, pets are allowed on our back patio!

Sorry for the late reply, Bunny! Yes we do. All of our drinks are gluten free, and we also serve a couple gluten free donut options (matcha and chocolate).
Is this place amenable to people who do not wish to listen to loud commercial music? Is there at least the option of sitting outside and not being assaulted by loud speakers forcing pop music on its customers?
Hello, we do have outdoor seating in the back parking lot or in the front of the store. We usually don't have loud music but if you are inside and the music is too loud you are welcome to ask the barista's to turn it down.

We are not open on Christmas, we will be open 8-5 on Christmas Eve and normal hours on Boxing Day.
