This was my first time trying this place and It isn't really a cart, it actually shares a space with Guidado's, so don't come here expecting to find a little coffee cart outside lol At the counter I saw they had a secret menu, so I asked what they currently have available. When I went they had Earl Grey syrup and black sesame syrup. I decided to try the Earl Grey latte, and it was absolutely amazing. The Earl Grey flavor was very fragrant and floral without tasting artificial or overpowering the coffee. You could still taste the espresso underneath, and the slight bitterness of the coffee went really well with the floral and almost citrusy flavor of the Earl Grey. It was very balanced and easily my favorite of the two drinks. I would most definitely get this again. I also got the Cereal Killer latte to try, which came topped with Cocoa Puffs. The coffee itself was good, and I liked the idea of having the cereal on top. Unfortunately, it was kind of difficult to actually drink. The Cocoa Puffs would get mixed in with the ice, so almost every time I tried to get some cereal in a sip, an ice cube would come along with it. It made the drink a little awkward to enjoy. I liked the coffee flavor, but I probably wouldn't order the Cereal Killer again. Overall, I was really impressed with the Earl Grey latte. The coffee flavor was good in both drinks, but the Earl Grey was definitely the star for me. Second time coming to the caffeinated cart that shares a space with Guisados Pasadena. We've tried the Mocha Mexicano, Spanish Latte, Cereal Killer and seasonal drink earl grey mocha. The workers are always so nice and helpful and we've enjoyed every drink we've ordered so far. The Earl grey mocha is very Earl grey forward which we enjoy. I also appreciate that they don't charge extra for alternative milk options! I think one improvement would be to have boba straws for the cereal killer because you can't really get the cereal bits through the regular straws. However, you could always grab a spoon and eat the cereal bits that way. There's lots of seating inside and parking spaces are a bit tight outside. read more

I've been a fan of Caffeinated Cart since Pablo was doing pop ups years ago, so seeing them inside Guisados in Pasadena honestly made me so happy! The Prietita has easily become one of my favorite iced coffees, and I'm definitely planning to work my way through the rest of the menu. One thing I love most is the people. I got the cereal killer matcha with Captain Crunch topping. I'll make it clear I took this photo after I took a huge sip. I know it looks like there is a lot of ice but there was the PERFECT AMOUNT. The Caffeinated Cart is genuinely serving up some of the best coffee in the SGV and LA in general. It is so good that my husband and I came two days in a row to get our caffeine fix. All of the staff that we interacted with on both days, including the owner, were so warm and welcoming and provided the best service. Both of the days we visited we got Cultura lattes, which is cafe de olla, with almond milk. When it comes to lattes, I find that almond milk is the least forgiving milk choice. If espresso is not good on its own, you're going to know right away if you're using almond milk. However, that is not the case here. The espresso they use in their drinks is genuinely delicious. The blend has a slight green apple taste that is absolutely delightful and pairs deliciously with the cafe de olla spices. The owner also let us know they have rotating single origin beans that you can get as an espresso shot or cortado, which I am very excited to try. I also found out through social media that they allegedly have a banana latte, which I did not see on the menu but absolutely need to try. The Caffeinated Cart is truly a standout coffee spot.
