Absolutely phenomenal coffee spot, serving super unique latte flavors. Street parking is available near the shop, and the shop itself is a little hidden inside an apartment like building. The service is super nice and accommodating, all the drinks are hand made and it's a very personal home cafe style spot. We ordered the biscoff latte, cocoa puff matcha latte, and baklava matcha latte. The biscoff latte was phenomenal! Not too sweet with a strong coffee flavor, and the cookies are perfect on top. The cocoa puffs were also excellent, both of the matcha lattes were super high quality and delicious. The cocoa puffs were the perfect addition to the matcha latte and looked great in photos too. The baklava has a unique pistachio flavor, also not too sweet and perfectly balanced. All of the drinks were super well made, with high quality ingredients. The creative concepts live up to their executions for sure! I highly recommend Starlet for excellent, creative lattes and cozy, intimate service and cafe. A coffee/ matcha with sweet creams & sweet toppings to add to your caffeine! The outside doesn't have a sign or door. You'll have to locate a white building with address # 473 on it. Street parking was relatively easy to find on a weekend morning. Expect a grab-and-go environment with extremely minimal seating and tables. The interior is quite small. The serving station is essentially an indoor pop-up coffee cart. I ordered the matcha einspanner. It had a very creamy and consistent matcha taste. Overall, decent cup of iced matcha. Even with the adjustment, it was a bit sweet for me. I think this place would be great if you're looking for a sweet treat pick me up. read more

The setup is a little unusual and feels a bit awkward, but I also understand they're a new business and respect these young women for starting something of their own. I was genuinely impressed by the baklava drink it was surprisingly delicious and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. I was a little disappointed that they no longer had the Coco Puffs drink since that's actually what I drove over to try, but I'm glad I gave the baklava drink a chance. read more

I was disappointed with my first visit. My chai was filled to the top with ice (see photo) and tasted mostly like milk, despite being described as very sweet. I understand iced drinks come with ice, but this felt like I paid for a cup of ice with very little actual beverage. The other issue was that my sister was told they were out of the cookie butter drink, but the customers behind us were able to order two of them. When we pointed this out, the staff apologized and made one for her, which we appreciated. I gave 2 stars because the situation was eventually corrected, but I expected a better experience given all the great reviews here and on TikTok. read more

i am soo in love with starlet coffee that it has become apart of my routine. Every Thursday during my lunch i stop by starlet coffee to grab myself & my co workers yummy delicious lattes! when thursday rolls around it's "starlet thursday" , ahah! Both ladies are an absolute darling! so lovely & beautiful. I am really excited for their new menu however i do miss the coco puff latte. it was so good! It's nice that they switched up the menu though. they added banana pudding & einspanner with the option of espresso or matcha. i have tried both of their new drinks & both were absolutely delicious!!! the banana pudding matcha is absolutely top tier!!! i need a whole jug of that to go. please & thank youu. lol. I love the banana pudding just as much as I love their cookie butter. i hope the girls never get rid of the cookie butter on their menu. There isn't a coffee shop that I have found that makes the cookie butter cream top like the girls do. the service is always quick for me. Even though it gets busy i don't wait that long. Found this place because I've been wanting the cocoa puff latte just like Disney. They offer unique flavors like Blueberry Pancake Latte and Baklava Latte. We got the cocoa puff latte and it was good. It literally is a latte topped with cocoa puffs but the base was good. Doesn't have a sour or bitter after taste! I like that I can adjust the sweetness too. They post their popup schedule on their tiktok. I shall be back again to try their unique flavors! Parking - plenty street parking! read more

Matcha strawberry shortcake was so yum!!! I love that they don't charge for milk alternatives. The drink itself was not super sweet at all (they do not sweeten their matcha) but it was just the right amount for the drink. I stopped by on a Thursday around 10:45am and had no trouble finding street parking. There were a few people waiting outside and a short line when I arrived. The space is small with a few tables inside. Before I ordered, they let me know it would take about 20-25 minutes for drinks which I appreciated the heads up. I found Starlet Coffee through Facebook Marketplace and wanted to support a small local business. You can check their socials for more information on their schedule and where they will be located next. A lot of people are unsure where it's located (in the Pasadena location), but it's the first door right next to the garage with the address number 473. There's street parking. I tried the blueberry pancake matcha latte with oat milk and overall enjoyed it. The matcha was hand-whisked, and they clearly take their time handcrafting each order. Flavor-wise, the blueberry pancake syrup definitely carried the drink. It genuinely tasted like a blueberry pancake/muffin. However, the matcha taste was not as prominent. Texture-wise, the latte leaned more water-based than milk-based, which you could tell from the darker, more translucent color. I personally prefer a creamier matcha, but the flavor itself was enjoyable. I'd love to come back another time and give them another try! read more

I came to their pop-up in Pasadena twice. Their cute marketing got me! But on a real note, the coffee/matcha is worth the trip. The girls at the counter are sweet and service is very quick. I got the blueberry pancake matcha the first time. Love my fruity matchas, it was perfectly sweet and refreshing. Stole a sip of the cookie butter latte from my mom. It's so delicious but definitely for people who have more of a sweet tooth. The Cocoa Puff Latte is also very good, not super chocolatey at first but once the cereal sits for a bit you get more of that classic cocoa puff taste. My second time around I got the cookie butter with matcha, WOW! It was such a nice flavor combo. I'm excited to try other drinks on their menu soon! read more

The inside is pretty unfinished with only 2 small tables. The drinks came out fairly quick (6 orders ahead of us). The drinks themselves are alright. Not the worst I've had but the matcha tastes a little similar to Starbucks matcha and my friend said the coffee latte was a little too sweet for her. If you drive by too fast, you may miss this cute little coffee shop on the corner of fair oaks and villa! There isn't much seating inside but the coffees are divine. I got the coco puff latte, they forgot the cold foam but I think it was because one of the girls making it was going off about another girl forgetting to change the water in the espresso machine (which is a little off putting considering they were making my coffee at the time lol). I ordered 3 Spanish Lattes and it took around 30 minutes to get my order, so I would not recommend coming here if you are in a rush. The espresso was weak and slightly acidic. I wish they added more cinnamon and poured less milk. I understand that this is a small business, but there didn't seem to be any sense of urgency even though 10+ people were still waiting for their order. Another week, another coffee shop! This time was the Pasadena pop up of Starlet Coffee. Found out about them through social media and wanted to give it a try for the longest time as everything looked bomb. The location offers lots of street parking and is hidden away in a shared building space. They are the first set-up once you walk in. When I went, it looked like they were still doing some light construction, but they made good use of the space that they did have. Only two tables for now as they are currently a pop up location, but don't let that knock you from coming to try. They have a small menu with what looks like monthly revolving drink options. I decided to go with the Spanish Latte iced. Honestly one of the best valued lattes in the area. For just 6 bucks, you get a bigger sized cup than most coffee shops and a phenomenal tasting drink. The drink itself was not too sweet but you still had the flavor of the condensed milk and cinnamon. To me one of the best well rounded lattes, and I'm excited to try what else they have to offer within the coming weeks. read more

Stopped on my way to a baseball game because of their strong reviews. We got a cortado and iced baklava latte and they were tasty. Not too strong. It was fairly busy when we got there and there wasn't much waiting room, but our drinks came out in a good amount of time. Why I am knocking it down in stars is the fact that I ordered it with oat milk (I'm lactose intolerant) and I don't know if they put regular milk or food safety was at play since all the milks were out during the rush , but it triggered all my symptoms in about 10 minutes. read more

Been going to their pasadena location weekly since they opened 2 months ago and they've been consistently delicious. The Spanish latte is delicious, sweet but not too sweet and the espresso is always so smooth and strong. I watched them make the drinks and you can tell they put a lot of care into every single cup. Weekends are busier so expect to wait 20+ min but I think it's so worth the wait. read more

But theirs is so lovely - it was the Sicily ($6.25 - Ethiopian cold brew, orange blossom water, lemon juice, touch of raw sugar, lime zest). It drinks like a refreshing tonic BUT I love that they shake this beverage and then top it with fresh lime zest. Lovely. I also had the ham & cheese croissant and it was awesome. I was eyeing the miso kouign amann but opted out, I'll have to come back for it as well as some of their matcha options!

Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. A friendly attitude goes a long way, and that was completely missing. The coffee was even more disappointing. It had almost no flavor and tasted watered down, especially for the price. I expected a quality drink, but it was bland and absolutely not worth what I paid. To make matters worse, we were told to leave the patio an hour before the shop was even closing. If the patio has different hours, that should be clearly communicated instead of asking paying customers to leave early. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. Between the unfriendly service, flavorless coffee, and being asked to leave well before closing, I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other cafés in Pasadena that offer much better coffee and treat their customers with respect.

This was a poor execution of a risotto. The texture was off, and the flavor was overwhelmed by whatever cheese they used in this dish. The charred scallop was one single scallop cut in half and overly charred and rubbery in taste. The blue shrimp were shriveled too. We made sure to eat the proteins to prevent waste but you know it's bad when my boyfriend didn't even want to togo this dish. He normally eats anything to prevent waste. Branzino alla Griglia ($38) - Whole grilled branzino topped with eggplant, salsa verde and herb salad. This was the least bad item that we paid for... Although there was a lot of bones to be cautious of. I understand the risk of stumbling on a few bones when ordering a whole fish but this was more than I would have liked. I also didn't like some of the flavors coating the fish. Although from a grilled perspective it was crispy and perfectly cooked. This is a popular business with plenty of patrons to keep them busy. Whatever they like... it isn't what I look for in a business I frequent. I know they don't need my business and I will gladly stay away and save myself all of the trouble. This was way too stressful and there weren't any dishes I need to have again. My experience was so awful I'm being very generous with this 3 star, which is "average".

Stopped by in Pasadena and tried the cocoa puff latte, the espresso was rich and delicious, topped with a vanilla cream top and Cocoa Puffs. It was yummy and well balanced. I also ordered the strawberry shortcake matcha and loved it. It reminded me of strawberry shortcake ice cream, but not overly sweet. On this weekday I came for the Jasmine Milk Tea. Last time this was under the Tea Latte section, but they menu changed and there is now a dedicated Milk Tea section. And also there is a Jasmine Latte with Espresso in it, but that is under the Espresso section. I was able to get it chilled but without ice. The lowest sweetness level was 50%, but I asked nicely and they estimated they could make a 25% for me. It turned out wonderfully, extremely floral, barely any sweetness so the Jasmine aroma and taste were the dominant ones. In the food side I selected the popcorn chicken. I can take some heat but only a small bit, so I asked for the spice powder in the side. I just looove the texture of the popcorn chicken. You can see in the picture that it's a very thin breading, almost not there, but the texture seems almost as if an invisible rice flour was tossed in the outside. Still juicy in the inside, and small pieces to make every bite pop-able. The chicken comes with a ranch sauce, though to me it's a second thought. Add a hint of spice or even have the chicken as is, no ranch is needed.
