I was disappointed with my first visit. My chai was filled to the top with ice (see photo) and tasted mostly like milk, despite being described as very sweet. I understand iced drinks come with ice, but this felt like I paid for a cup of ice with very little actual beverage. The other issue was that my sister was told they were out of the cookie butter drink, but the customers behind us were able to order two of them. When we pointed this out, the staff apologized and made one for her, which we appreciated. I gave 2 stars because the situation was eventually corrected, but I expected a better experience given all the great reviews here and on TikTok.

i am soo in love with starlet coffee that it has become apart of my routine. Every Thursday during my lunch i stop by starlet coffee to grab myself & my co workers yummy delicious lattes! when thursday rolls around it's "starlet thursday" , ahah! Both ladies are an absolute darling! so lovely & beautiful. I am really excited for their new menu however i do miss the coco puff latte. it was so good! It's nice that they switched up the menu though. they added banana pudding & einspanner with the option of espresso or matcha. i have tried both of their new drinks & both were absolutely delicious!!! the banana pudding matcha is absolutely top tier!!! i need a whole jug of that to go. please & thank youu. lol. I love the banana pudding just as much as I love their cookie butter. i hope the girls never get rid of the cookie butter on their menu. There isn't a coffee shop that I have found that makes the cookie butter cream top like the girls do. the service is always quick for me. Even though it gets busy i don't wait that long. However, i do miss when we were able to order online! it's was nice & convenient but it's okay. hopefully one day the girls bring that option back again! please continue being amazing!!

Matcha strawberry shortcake was so yum!!! I love that they don't charge for milk alternatives. The drink itself was not super sweet at all (they do not sweeten their matcha) but it was just the right amount for the drink. I loved how they added the strawberry shortcake bits, it was so unique! there is plenty of street parking! Check their instagram to see their schedule.

I stopped by on a Thursday around 10:45am and had no trouble finding street parking. There were a few people waiting outside and a short line when I arrived. The space is small with a few tables inside. Before I ordered, they let me know it would take about 20-25 minutes for drinks which I appreciated the heads up. I ordered an iced matcha latte with honey and it was really good! They have a loyalty card where your 10th drink is free! I will definitely be back!

I found Starlet Coffee through Facebook Marketplace and wanted to support a small local business. You can check their socials for more information on their schedule and where they will be located next. A lot of people are unsure where it's located (in the Pasadena location), but it's the first door right next to the garage with the address number 473. There's street parking. I tried the blueberry pancake matcha latte with oat milk and overall enjoyed it. The matcha was hand-whisked, and they clearly take their time handcrafting each order. Flavor-wise, the blueberry pancake syrup definitely carried the drink. It genuinely tasted like a blueberry pancake/muffin. However, the matcha taste was not as prominent. Texture-wise, the latte leaned more water-based than milk-based, which you could tell from the darker, more translucent color. I personally prefer a creamier matcha, but the flavor itself was enjoyable. I'd love to come back another time and give them another try!

I came to their pop-up in Pasadena twice. Their cute marketing got me! But on a real note, the coffee/matcha is worth the trip. The girls at the counter are sweet and service is very quick. I got the blueberry pancake matcha the first time. Love my fruity matchas, it was perfectly sweet and refreshing. Stole a sip of the cookie butter latte from my mom. It's so delicious but definitely for people who have more of a sweet tooth. The Cocoa Puff Latte is also very good, not super chocolatey at first but once the cereal sits for a bit you get more of that classic cocoa puff taste. My second time around I got the cookie butter with matcha, WOW! It was such a nice flavor combo. I'm excited to try other drinks on their menu soon!

My sister and I love Starlet Coffee! Both times we have visited have been very great and we love staying updated on their pop up locations. I recommend ordering the blueberry matcha. The matcha is amazing quality and I love the blueberry flavor! (I'm so used to ordering strawberry matchas so I appreciate that they offer blueberry instead!) Service is very friendly always and the ambiance is casual, easy to order and pick up!

The inside is pretty unfinished with only 2 small tables. The drinks came out fairly quick (6 orders ahead of us). The drinks themselves are alright. Not the worst I've had but the matcha tastes a little similar to Starbucks matcha and my friend said the coffee latte was a little too sweet for her. Overall, the drinks are decent but I dont think i would go out of my way to come here.

YUM!!! Absolutely loved my latte. I just discovered Starlet Coffee's pop-up cart in Pasadena, and I'm officially obsessed! The coffee is perfectly brewed, smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I needed to brighten my day. The pop-up cart is such a fun little experience. Definitely my new go-to for a quick caffeine fix

The coffee here is amazing the only thing i would suggest is better/earlier hours for your customers - try it for one week opening earlier!

If you drive by too fast, you may miss this cute little coffee shop on the corner of fair oaks and villa! There isn't much seating inside but the coffees are divine. We got the cold brew cocoa puff matcha latte and the blueberry latte and both were so delicious! The employees so kind and attentive! Definitely drop by and check them out.

Honestly I ran across this small business on tiktok and decided to give it a try on my walk home. When I came in only the girl at the register was nice the other two girls with her making the drinks had some nasty expressions on them like if they didn't want me in here. Anyways aside from that the coffee itself tastes acidic and watered down. I was disappointed to say the least.

I forgot what I got lol I told them to surprise me

Sweetest girlies making good coffee So fun having them at an event! They did have a lot of orders but definitely were able to pull it through, and the coffee was delicious

Oh. My. GATO. This…read moreis a hidden treasure taco spot. I'm spoiled because I had some really great tacos down the street from my house growing up and so I know what good tacos taste like. I lived in East Los Angeles and couldn't find a taco spot that was this good. I've gone to Mexico. I've been in different parts of Mexico and Baja. I don't remember the food ever tasting this good. Tacos, the corner is run by a guy and a girl team. I don't know their names because this was my first time, but the service was on point. They're generous with their portions and salsa, and their green avocado salsa is so amazing. I got two Asada one chicken and one el pastor. I bought the chicken taco because when I try out a taco spot with good prices, I always get their chicken tacos because you can tell whether or not a spot is gonna be good or bad by the way they do their chicken. Chicken is a hard meat to cook, even if it's thigh meat. This chicken taco was so juicy. I was pleasantly surprised. They also have burritos and horchata. I'm also a connoisseur of Horchata. I know it's not hard to make, and sometimes people use just powdered stuff, and even if this was powdered, it was the good powdered stuff. lol As for the ambience, it is a street corner fast food, regular. If you need a bathroom, there's a park down the street that has a restroom if you wanna go to the bathroom or wash your hands. The portions were so big I could only eat two tacos, which says a lot about an establishment because if they skimp on the meat, you know. They also had I believe Jamaica. For the Pasadena Altadena area? The spot is on point. It's right by the ACTS thrift store and the 7-11, so this is gonna be my go to Friday spot because I usually go to the thrift store to buy flip items or look for tees. I found a Japanese inspired Darth Vader Star Wars shirt (and got half off because a kind man in the store who was talking to me couldn't find anything and had a 50% off coupon so score for me). I thought my luck had stopped there- but I'm happy to say I found a happy belly too. I will return again! Thank you Tacos the corner!

I'd tried all the usual "best taco" spots, but BEHOLD... this hidden gem sets up right in front of 7/11. I've driven past it so many times while picking up my kids from school, and I'm SO glad the fam and I finally stopped by. Got a burrito (carne asada & al pastor mixto) 10/10, no question. A carne asada only burrito, also 10/10. 8 tacos (4 tripas, 4 al pastor) 10/10 across the board! The flavors were on point, every meat perfectly charred, and I swear I'm not exaggerating toda la comida estaba RIQUÍSIMO! This is officially my go-to spot from now on. Service was A1! Ambience was chill and calm!

Lo and behold, thanks to Christina the business exists on here and has been christened "Jiang Xiang Bing Guy"! Although he was working solo that day, when I decided to return on an empty stomach, he had an assistant helping with seasoning and chopping up the 酱香饼. There were about five folks waiting by the time I got there Sunday evening. The guy with the blue UCLA hoodie was purposefully putting on a show, since he had two phones set up for streaming. Every now and again, when he gets a request from someone, he would say "OK no problem!" and continues with kneading, rolling, and transferring the dough to the big ol' frying machine. At $10 per order, perhaps a part of the cost is the spirited mini-interactions. After paying via Venmo, I showed the gal my phone. 他是老板 she said jokingly as she handed me the food. I had mine mild, and honestly it was a delightfully crispy and savory snack for a cold winter evening.

Intrigued and a lover of street foods, I went last night to check it out hoping he was at the same spot and he was! (Honestly San Gabriel Superstore parking lot be popping with bomb street food stalls and trucks over these past years). The guy was calling his food a Chinese pizza but it's actually a Chinese street food called Jiang Xiang Bing(酱香饼) which basically means "saucy pancake". If you can't speak Chinese(don't worry he does understand English though but he spoke to me in Mandarin by default lol), just give him $10 and he will give you a portion. If you don't have cash, he has QR codes for digital payments and once it goes through you can hear his phone notification from his car. When he's done making the bread and ready to chop it, he will ask you how spicy you want it. You can say "xiao la" for mild or say yes and nod your head for the regular spicy lol. The pan fried flat bread was crispy and the sweet and spicy soy bean sauce really went well with it, I'd get it again!!!
