    Matcha Azul

A super cute vegan cafe with tasty beverages This one's for the girly pops since it's pink, decorated with flowers and just such a cute ambience. It's small but there are seats both inside and outside Matcha azul - 10/10. No notes. The lavender was perfectly creamy and foamy and everything was sweet but not overbearing And everything here is vegan!! :) Including their pastries and dishes. I definitely want to try one of their egg tartines next time

Located in Miller Alley in Old Town Pasadena, Coffee and Plants is a quaint, aesthetic café that lives up to its name. The company is plant-based and mission-driven, with a second location in Studio City. Immediately upon walking up, the entrance is flanked by outdoor seating, a bike display, and red roses up a brick wall. Inside is just as aesthetic, with a flower wall perfect for photos. There's also merchandise available for purchase, though I was a bit disappointed by the limited selection of plants, some of which looked like they could use some sun. The menu features seasonal specials in addition to its regular offerings. The strawberry cream match was sweet and creamy. There was one person working the counter who was friendly and helpful.

It's right beside the Roll Factory.

Am not a coffee drinker but I love plants so I got curious and decided to visit this place. It's a cute café down Miller Alley of Old Town Pasadena. The vibe is comfortable and welcoming. It was funny when I asked about the puppucino only to find out that it was a drink for one's fur babies. Aside from coffee, they also offer matcha, teas and some snacks. It's a bit of a drag that one has to pay for parking to go to this place.

Situated in an alleyway off Colorado and next to IPIC theater this cozy coffee cafe features well....coffee and plants. They sell plants and feature them prominently in the decor. They have an array of beverages including teas, coffees, and lemonades. I tried the peach please and it was a fun and sweet beverage that I could drink all day. Their menu feature pastries and a menu of vegan friendly menu breakfast items with indoor and outdoor seating. A great place for a quick bite and worth stopping in to try their options. Super friendly service!

Ambiance: it's a cozy and chic small coffee place located in a small alley in Pasadena, with cute decorations and green plants, they don't have a restroom onsite and you have to go to the one located in the corner of the courtyard Service: friendly staff, helpful and attentive, accommodated special request for mugs instead of cups Drink: simple and classic drink menu, vegan options non diary only, like oat milk and almond milk Blue Lavender Latte - **** refreshing taste, recommend Pink Matcha - *** overly sweet Price: decent quality and slightly overpriced, expect each drink costs about $7~$8

Came here today with my bestie and our fur babies on a Sunday Morning. Highly suggest coming in a Sunday. Street parking before 11am is free. No pay to park, 2 hour parking on Union Street. It's been a while since I last been here and it's just as amazing as I last remember! This time I came here to get my coffee fix, get my Pasadena Coffee Passport Stamped, and my best friend had yet to try this place out. Photo op worthy place along with plants to purchase as well! This time I ordered: - Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat-milk - Peach Please ( Lemonade) - Blueberry Muffin - Peperomia 'Ginny' Plant The drinks & food were delicious! The staff were very sweet! This place is dog friendly and had indoor/ outdoor seating :)

Most charming little cafe tucked in an alley way in Pasadena! Plenty of seating. Most of the plants are adoptable and this cafe sits next to a theater. Matcha Lavender gal, and wasn't disappointed!

    Berry Energizer?
    Gabriel R.

This is supposedly the Berry Energizer. But there in contrast to the advertised photo within the coffee shop are no fruits. No strawberries of any kind. When I pointed that out the barista apologized but then brought out a packet with I guess strawberry flavored powder ti put in. Perhaps it's in the fine print but even though tasty. It's not what was advertised. Also it was loaded with ice. Maybe it was just an off day. Still will come here but definitely need some clarification on the drink Hence the three stars

Coffee and Plants is a cute little coffee shop nestled in a little alley way in old town Pasadena. I came and tried the avocado toast. It was good but a little too sour for my liking. They have a few different options for savory foods and a variety of sweet treats and caffeinated beverages to choose from. Nice quiet place to study and/or get some work done.

    Dubai Chocolate Latte

Tucked away in the alley area of Old Pasadena, Coffee and Plants is a charming spot for a quality coffee break and perfect for those Instagrammable foodie moments. If you're using the Pasadena Coffee Passport, you're supposed to get 10% off a drink here, though to be honest, I'm not sure if the discount actually applied. My Dubai Chocolate Latte with oat milk still came out to $10. A bit pricey, but I genuinely enjoyed it. The drink had a nice balance of coffee, pistachio, and shredded coconut, and by the time I finished it, I was surprisingly full. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and I noticed a few pastry options available too. Service was quick, the coffee tasted great, and the overall vibe is adorable. Definitely worth a visit.

I was a bit split on what to get because the Gui Hua latte has so many mixed reviews on Yelp. So, I went with my gut instead (and the caffeine fiend in me) and ordered the cold brew item of course. But theirs is so lovely - it was the Sicily ($6.25 - Ethiopian cold brew, orange blossom water, lemon juice, touch of raw sugar, lime zest). It drinks like a refreshing tonic BUT I love that they shake this beverage and then top it with fresh lime zest. Lovely. I also had the ham & cheese croissant and it was awesome. I was eyeing the miso kouign amann but opted out, I'll have to come back for it as well as some of their matcha options!

No parking, way too busy, way too full to seat us, a line bursting out the door, the tiny bakery cafe still seduced us. That is, Mr B circled the block in the car but pushed me out to get in line. It was the idea of a flaky, buttery, chocolate croissant crumbling all over his shirt that made him do it. And I had no intention of saying no. The line went quickly. The last Kouign Amann had just escaped my clutches to the guy in front of me, darn it. It had almost no flavor and tasted watered down, especially for the price. I expected a quality drink, but it was bland and absolutely not worth what I paid. To make matters worse, we were told to leave the patio an hour before the shop was even closing. If the patio has different hours, that should be clearly communicated instead of asking paying customers to leave early. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. Between the unfriendly service, flavorless coffee, and being asked to leave well before closing, I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other cafés in Pasadena that offer much better coffee and treat their customers with respect.
