I came to visit this spot after a morning of hiking. There is a parking lot in the back , however it was full at the time I went so I parked on the street by a church. I was seated outside by the street , tables were a bit small & close, but still cozy. Staff was friendly & open to questions. It's highly recommended to use the Yelp waitlist, as the lines can get long. We joined the waitlist before we arrived and it said we were fourth in line, but we were quickly seated at a table of our choice without waiting, which was nice. They provide water and glasses at the table, along with standard diner condiments. I started with a coffee ($5.00), which was refillable, so you definitely get your money's worth. They refilled it twice for us. I had a lot of energy when we left! Our son wanted pancakes but couldn't decide. We ordered two single pancakes: an original ($6) and a blueberry pancake ($8.00). I tried a bite of the blueberry pancake, and it was a solid, fluffy pancake. My wife ordered two eggs, hash browns with her choice of meat and toast. She chose sausage and sourdough toast. The sausages were large and had a maple flavor, which we both liked and would order again. The hash browns were excellent, and our son ended up eating my wife's, and she ended up with his pancakes, much to her chagrin. Being the nice mother she is, she was happy to let our son eat her food. I ordered one of their specialties, the Devil's Mess, and it was a bit underwhelming, to be honest. I liked the sour cream and guacamole on top, but it didn't have enough spice for me. I asked for some hot sauce and salsa. There's a $1 up-charge for a small container of salsa, which was pretty good and exactly what I needed for my Devil's Mess. You can choose between home fries or hash browns, and I went with the home fries, which were great. I wouldn't order the Devil's Mess again, but I'm glad I tried it. We will definitely be back and order two plates of what my wife gets so our son and she can both have the food they want. I'll probably try the Chicken Fried Steak next time. I wanted to try this location out and was lucky to get parking in the lot behind it. I got there early enough that I didn't have to wait. However, they put me in a small room to the left of the entrance all by myself with kitchen doors instead of the main room. The back servers/bussers are on it. Quick with water and coffee and very helpful. Servers were friendly but no one came to me, besides the bussers, for almost 15. I got up to get someone and someone saw me and came. Food came out quickly. Food was yummy! The biscuit was so good! Though I wish hash browns were available all week long. It started filling up and by the time I was done the place had no empty seat. Had this restaurant in my try list for awhile, one thing I noticed is that there's a Yelp waitlist, and very much needed as this spot is VERY VERY busy. Of course, highly recommended to get on the waitlist as you're on the way to the restaurant to avoid any longer wait times. DISCLAIMER though is that if you're not there when your table is ready, they will move you off the waitlist, do plan accordingly. Parking is free in a moderate size lot next to Millies, shared with some other businesses. Would advise to wait around as plenty of people are going in and out of the lot at times. Luckily, my amazing wife joined the Yelp waitlist about mid way through our car trip to the restaurant. Total minutes was about 30 minutes driven so about 15 minutes to the destination is pretty preferred to join the waitlist is what it seems. Because of my wife, we had exactly a 5 second wait time when we arrived. There were tons and I mean TONS of people lining up on the street all waiting for a table, while we got seated immediately. First impressions is that the restaurant is very much like a modern tavern style cafe. There are plenty of tables inside and outside with numerous staffs around. Service here is decent even with how insanely busy the restaurant is. Very well maintained, standardized, and structured extremely well to provide great service for all customers. Our orders were taken in a timely manner and food came out in about 15 minutes, fairly quickly. There's also a huge vegan menu, very pleasant for variety in choices of food. 1. Eggs Benedict Had my fair share of eggs benedicts around but this one at Millies is very well made. My favorite dish of the three dishes ordered. Portions are big and very much a shareable dish if wanted. The side of potatoes is a nice touch which adds to the savory taste of the eggs. One of their most popular items around and for good reason. Love the presentation as well. 2. Shrimp Omelet HUGE DISH, i was pretty wow'd by this dish. Menu doesn't really state it but it has a tad bit of spice to it. Regardless, very tasty, loaded with flavor & is pretty fulfilling. I would say this was a great compliment dish to the eggs benedict. 3. Strawberry & Banana Nutella Waffle Top notch presentation, drizzled with Nutella, filled with strawberries and banana slices up top, very well made as the waffle pieces are soft and very savory. What made it delicious was that you didn't realy need the maple syrup, although I would still recomended if you want more flavoring, but the fruits were more than enough sugar for me. The waffle was super soft, chewy, and easy to eat. Super yummy sweet dish and definitely a nice side to balance out the savory dishes. Very glad that I was able to introduce my husband to this brunch spot. We will definitely come back over and over again because of how great the food is here. This place isn't the cheapest, but the prices aren't anything outrageous, especially considering how expensive everything is in general.
