Tried this place with my sister and mom and we loved it! The cashier, young lady, was NOT friendly at all. She actually had an attitude all interactions we had, BUT I food made up for it. The other interactions we had with a few other people who worked there were very pleasant. We got a beef kbbq rice bowl, and we also got these beef pancake like things, but they weren't pancakes at all.. it was more like a burrito. We loved the detail in the chopsticks definitely took the to go because the quality was great. We sat in the window seat and it was perfect. Great view to people watch! Aside from the cashier everything was great and the restroom was clean! Definitely recommend.

Noodle St Meeting up with friends in LA and this was such a great spot in Pasadena. It's a cool experience because you can actually see the chef making the noodles right in the window while you're there. I went with the signature beef noodle soup (15.50) and chose the knife cut noodles. The bowl came with sliced beef, radishes, cilantro, and leeks. They were very generous with the amount of noodles they served, though I honestly wish there was a bit more meat included to balance it out. Everything tasted fresh and it was the perfect place to catch up with the group. Fresh handmade noodles and great group spot

Noodle Street in Pasadena is hands down one of the best spots I've been to in a while! I ordered the black tea at 50% sweetness (perfect balance ) and the beef noodles -- honestly, the best I've ever had. Everything tasted super fresh, and you can literally see them making it fresh right in front of you. That alone lets you know it's legit. I also got the beef roll and it did NOT disappoint. Packed with flavor and made just right. On top of that, it's in such a beautiful part of the city. Pasadena is always a great place to walk around before or after you eat. Definitely a perfect first date spot lol. Great food, great vibe, great location. I'll for sure be back!

I'm glad I found this place! I love spicy beef noodle soup but hadn't had it in a while. This rendition featured a lot of kale, I saw some mentioned they order it without - I would consider doing that but I didn't mind it too much. The noodles were terrific and the soup had decent flavor, but I've had better (about an 7.5/10). But for a chain this was solid. The beef roll pancake was really good, and I enjoyed the watermelon juice. My cousin said her shrimp stir fry noodles were a 8.5/10. Service was A1! Cool, modern ambiance. If I'm near a location and need to satisfy a fix, I'd come back. Now time to waddle around these Pasadena streets until I'm not so full! Lol

There was that familiar Friday night hum in Old Town, the kind where you can feel the weekend settling in before you even sit down. We stopped into Noodle Street for dinner, craving something warm and steady to close out the week. We ordered two bowls of the spicy beef noodle, one savory braised chicken noodle, and a plate of green beans to share. The noodles are what keep us coming back, clearly fresh made with that springy chew that holds up even after sitting in broth for a while. The spicy beef had a deep, slow building heat rather than an aggressive burn, and the broth tasted layered and developed, not rushed. The braised chicken version leaned more comforting and mellow, with tender pieces of chicken that pulled apart easily. The green beans were a nice contrast, cooked just until tender with enough seasoning to make them more than just an afterthought. Everything came out hot and at a steady pace, which made the meal feel relaxed instead of rushed. For a busy Friday night in Old Town Pasadena, that balance stood out. It is one of those dependable spots where you know the noodles will be fresh and the bowls will hit the mark. If you are heading in on a weekend evening, expect some energy in the room, but it is worth it for a solid, satisfying dinner.

Came to Noodle St with my boss during our lunch and it hits every single time! We ordered a variety of foods - garlic string beans, spicy beef noodle soup, beef rolls, scallion pancake, and lamb skewers. My fav is ALWAYS gna be the garlic green beans and spicy beef noodle soup. Service was quick and the establishment felt very clean. I will be back v soon! :)

Quick and delicious. The noodles are clearly the star here--super fresh and tasty. We ordered the stir fry and the Korean BBQ plates, and both were excellent. Definitely worth a visit!

It was a surprisingly short 10 min wait for weekend dinner at 7:30pm. Very bright, spacious and clean inside. Obviously the noodles are the star of the menu but only got the beef roll and lamb skewer this time. Service was attentive. Food came out very quickly. Beef roll was packed with green onions and thinly sliced beef, sweet from the hoisin sauce, and not dry or oily. If you don't like green onions or cilantro, definitely not the dish for you. Lamb skewer was juicy and had a nice kick of spiciness which paired well with the cold refreshing cucumber appetizer. Each dish seemed small but the combination of the 3 was filling You can see the chefs rolling/cooking the noodles and other dishes through the glass in the back. Will definitely try to come back and try one of the fresh noodle dishes since I'm usually always looking for good hand pulled noodles

Pretty good but pricy relative to beef noodle soups. A chain since I think they have one near UCLA also but the chef seems to try to innovate by using kale instead of the typical bok choy. It actually worked so I think that's a smart switch for nutritional value. Lamb skewers were overpriced, 9.95 for those three skewers. Service was friendly, a bit slow but nothing to complain about. Ambiance is a typical restaurant, the bathroom was a bit hard to figure out but it was after a run for me so could be my food starved brain. Would I go again? Probably not on my own but would go if a friend wanted to try it

Visited Noodle St on a whim since I was in the area. I had the Korean BBQ rice bowl which was yummy. My son had the vegetable soup with knife cut noodles which he liked. My husband had a chicken plate with a type of spicy numbing oil that he was not a fan of. As for the service, I was very impressed. They provided bibs and even shears to help cut down pieces of food which was so helpful. They also were accommodating to our small children. Another aspect we enjoyed was the ability to look into the kitchen and see the fresh rice noodles being made!

We've been here a few times now, and it never disappoints. Everything we've tried has been absolutely amazing. My personal favorite is the beef roll pancake. It's packed with flavor and cooked perfectly every time. Our go-to dishes are the green onion pancake and the spicy beef noodle soup--both are incredibly delicious, rich, and full of bold, comforting flavors. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared, with just the right balance of seasoning. My daughter especially loves the green onion pancake, which says a lot because she's pretty picky! The service is also a big plus. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always helpful without being overbearing. On top of that, the ambiance is really nice, comfortable, and welcoming. Perfect for a relaxed meal. Overall, this place has become one of our favorites, and we'll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Checked out Noodle St for the first time based on all the raving reviews. The dishes were good but found them to be somewhat average. The beef noodle soup seemed to be popular. The beef bone broth was lovely with al dente noodles. Loved that you can select the cut of noodle for each order as well. The service was friendly and attentive but with so many options in the area, Noodle St didn't really offer an entree that stands out.

We were seated right away on a Saturday night and there's ample seating in the restaurant. Service was quick and attentive. I tried the knife cut noodles which were chewy and thick. I think I would opt to try the flat noodles next time for a flatter noodle. Items ordered: - Beef roll pancake: Really good pancake! There's a lot more cilantro and green onions compared to other beef roll pancakes I've had in the past, and I wish there was a bit more beef, but overall still solid. - String beans: Pretty good flavor but the portion was a little smaller for what you pay for - Signature beef noodle soup: A simple soup that I would definitely order on a cold rainy day or if I want something comforting. Would get again! Overall a solid noodle spot and would come back again!

We ordered the tom yum noodle soup, pork collar, papaya salad, shrimp ceviche, and the captain whatever curry. Unfortunately, the tom yum noodle soup and the curry were especially underwhelming. Both dishes lacked the bold, balanced flavors that define Thai cuisine--there was no real heat, tanginess, sweetness, or depth. When I go to a Thai or Thai-inspired restaurant, I expect vibrant, layered flavors, but what we received tasted muted and almost as if key ingredients were missing. It honestly made me wonder if there had been a mistake in the kitchen. The service didn't help improve the experience. Our server rarely checked in on us--no one asked if we needed napkins or refills, and empty or untouched plates were left sitting on the table far too long. When I brought up the issue with the lack of flavor, there was little acknowledgment and nothing was done to address the concern or make things right. Overall, the combination of bland food and inattentive service made for a frustrating dining experience. Side Note: It should've been obvious to me when I saw that there weren't any Asian patrons that this place would be a disappointment. Shame on this "Michelin-starred" chef.

I reached out to the owner and he ignored my concern. During my interaction, the host was kind but could not do anything about it. She asked the manager who did not come out of the back to interact with me. I was told that I needed to pay both gratuities, in app and in store. So at the end, I ended up paying 30% tip. If I didn't have a family at home waiting for their meal, I would have just left. I will never return to this place, and I would not recommend that you go either. It's so easy to just pay and not pay attention to the itemized receipt. This place is a total scam.

This time I went for lunch (they have great lunch specials) and the place was busy and buzzing. Note that here they put sautéed purple onions in their pad Thai. I'm used to onions on the dish being green onions. I happen to hate onions so it was a bummer, but I just picked them out and it was fine. In fact, the photos of the dishes were what initially drew me in and made me want to try the place. Unfortunately, while the presentation looked great, the actual food was underwhelming for me. Fried Tofu - 2.5/5. The Fried Tofu tasted like something premade and reheated rather than freshly prepared. The dipping sauce also felt generic - like a standard sweet-and-hot sauce mixed with crushed peanuts. It was decent, but not memorable. Roti & Curry - 2.5/5. The Roti & Curry had a similar issue. The roti itself seemed reheated from a premade product, and the curry sauce tasted very generic. It lacked any distinct flavor or character that would set it apart from countless other Thai restaurants. Pad Thai - 3/5. The Pad Thai was average at best. For my taste, it leaned far too sweet, and I wished there was more balance and complexity beyond just sweetness. Thai BBQ Chicken - 1.5/5. The biggest disappointment was the Thai B.B.Q. Chicken. Since the menu mentioned "15 minutes," I assumed the chicken would be grilled fresh to order and served hot off the grill. That expectation made me genuinely excited to try it. Unfortunately, the dish that arrived felt like the opposite. The chicken was cold, not freshly grilled, and the meat tasted stale rather than tender and juicy. It honestly seemed like it had been cooked earlier and reheated before serving. On top of that, the flavor itself was surprisingly bland. Overall, the food tasted like what you would find at many generic Thai restaurants, where the dishes feel standardized and lacking individuality. Nothing particularly stood out in terms of flavor or freshness. While the ambiance and presentation were good, the food didn't live up to the expectations created by the reviews and photos.

Colette offers a somewhat non-traditional, somewhat elevated menu, not as varied as other Chinese places, although they do offer dim sum and lunch specials. Note the menu on the website is old and kind of obsolete; the newer menu, which is laminated and has photos, is more extensive. The dish I always order is their fabulous chayote minced pork. I've also ordered their live lobster when I have a hankering. They have the lobsters and crabs in tanks on view, priced per pound. They can prepare it in several ways; I always choose stir-fried with ginger and scallions and add noodles. They also have some specialty dishes like winter melon soup that you must order in advance. I ordered 3 other dishes, only one for the first time. That was honey-glazed beef cubes. Slices of beef covered in sliced almonds on a bed of asparagus with an orange sauce that was similar to orange marmalade. Tasty and unique. The other 2 dishes that I've had before were the golden yolk luffa and the goo-loo pork (aka sweet and sour pork). Luffa is a gourd (like a cucumber) that is edible when young, but turns into the fibrous sponges we bathe with when mature. It's slighty bitter, here stir-fried with salted egg yolk.
