This place has good prices and their beef noodle soup slaps. Broth is tasty and you can see them making the noodles fresh. There are many options for type of noodle and preferred spice level. Their cold spicy beef dish is thinly sliced and tastes so yummy with cilantro. You pay at the register once you're done and they accept tap. They have a few tables inside and can get busy but we love this place! Lots of parking available in the plaza.
Cute little hole-in-the wall with a large parking lot! Came here on a weekday and was immediately seated. Food came out quick! I ordered the house special beef noodle soup with a side of cucumbers and green onion pancake. You can choose your noodle style with the soups, the noodles are freshly hand pulled!! Prices are very affordable, would definitely recommend!
This is by far my most highly recommended spot to friends who ask what's good Chinese food in Arcadia. And I could be wrong as someone who is not Chinese, but this is a very popular spot even for solo diners (all Chinese btw). Their sliced potato and pig ears have the PERFECT mala buzz spice. I would not recommend their cucumber dish as it's pretty bland and devoid of punchy garlic notes especially juxtaposed with two fantastic sides. Their spicy beef noodle soup is fantastic. Get the wide noodles. They're chewy, uber long, perfect texture, and my mouth is watering just typing this out and thinking about it. Bring your friends, even your Chinese friends. You won't be disappointed.
This has got to be the best beef noodle soup in the area. The noodles so fresh and soft. Definitely recommend people to come here for the noodles. It's flavorful and fills 2 people tummy! The service was great and the RESTURANT is a small so I can see how there could be a wait.
Not much to say other than I should have come here sooner. This place is such a hidden gem tucked into a corner. Good prices. Delicious hand made noodles. Especially the Vegetable Cold Noodle. I have been on a fiber kick lately and this dish meets all the marks. Delicious tangy sauce, perfectly chewy noodles and lots of crunchy fresh vegetables. That sauce reminds me of my childhood somehow. Super refreshing. The beef noodle is just classic also, you can't go wrong with it. We also got some pork belly buns too. I definitely want to come back and try the other noodle dishes and sides. That vegetable cold noodle is going to be my go to though. Absolutely delicious, glad I finally tried this place. Looking forward to coming back already.
Came here on a coworker's recommendation while feeling under the weather, and it did not disappoint! I ordered online for pickup and got the braised noodle soup with prisma noodles and the beef roll pancakes. Even after a 25-minute drive home, the food was absolutely amazing. The flavors held up perfectly. If it's this good as takeout, eating it fresh at the restaurant must be next-level. Highly recommend!
Amazing bowl of beef noodle soup! We had the Lanzhou noodles and it beats most of the other Lanzhou beef noodle soup restaurants. The chili oil is extremely flavorful and the noodles are an amazing QQ texture. The soup was deep but also light and not too fatty. This is the kind of dish you feel good after eating! I've been reading reviews here saying it's too salty, but I was pleasantly surprised. It had good flavor and the outside bing was crisp. On the smaller side, but overall delicious. Spicy Sliced Pork Ear (3.5/5): it's what you expect. Chewy with a nice kick from the chili oil. House Special Lamb Soup (2.5/5): now this dish was reaaaally salty. The lamb itself was delicious and the flavor of the soup had lamb prevailing throughout it. They just gotta water it down a bit. Braised Beef Noodle Soup (4/5): nice light but deep flavor in the soup. Beef was cooked well and tender. Star of the show were the prisma noodles. Had some texture through it from the shape, and it had a nice chew! Noodle with Fried Bean Sauce (4/5): flavor was lighter for this dish. We got wide noodles with it that helped soak up the flavor well. Overall if you like hand pulled noodles, def come here!

Best Noodle Soup I have eaten so far! The portions are quite large for someone with a small appetite like me! Noodles are soft but not sloppy. An unassuming Chinese restaurant with LOTS of great flavors! There's lot of different noodles dishes and types of noodles you can choose from. I really enjoyed how al dente the fresh noodles are and the braised beef broth was sooo delicious! It's a large bowl so I got a small bowl to share. I was really happy with the combo cold dish, you can pick 3 options in one dish so I got to try a variety of tasty sides. The service is really considerate and kind! I didn't even need to ask for the extra bowl and they even brought out a set of scissors to make sharing easier. Pig ear - 4/5, good taste but I like it with more chili, soy sauce, and cilantro. Potato salad - 100/5, unexpected favorite! So refreshing and addicting with the Szechuan peppercorn oil, it wasn't too strong but mild enough that I kept wanting to eat more! Bean curd - 3/5, more mild in flavor and chewy! Not bad, but not my favorite. Braised beef noodles - 5/5, very solid bowl of noodles! Loved how clean the broth tasted and the braised beef was so tender. The chili oil tastes homemade and is incredible too! Chinese pork burger - 4/5, very tasty and I enjoyed the spices but still heavy (oily) even with the chopped onions. I finished it at home with more onions and found it less greasy!
Time and time again, this place always hits the spot. Their hand pulled noodles can not be rivaled. I love ordering the wide thick noodles in my braised beef noodle soup. The soup is fragrant and made in house. Noodles are prepared right in front of you and a time is to be had! I always love adjusting the spice level to medium and trying their appetizers. Honestly all of the appetizers are my favorites. You can't go wrong with chili pig ears or a classic beef roll.
4.5 stars. Came here for dinner on New Year's Day and it was relatively busy. It's a really small restaurant with around 6-8 tables, so the wait was a bit long. There was also only one waitress at the time balancing all the tables so it was understandable. The service was good given the circumstance. The food was comforting and flavorful. The flavor of the broth was excellent and noodles were made well. There is a large selection of noodle types that you can choose from. The ambiance of this place and the size makes this place a hole in the wall restaurant. Overall, I think it's a great option if you're in the area and you can always get 626 hospitality ice cream after.

Very solid spot for noodles and green onion pancake. The noodle texture was great and the flavors didn't taste watered down which is always a plus! The price is nice and will leave you full before eating the entire bowl. The green onion pancake for me was the star of the show though. It was so dang good. I could've eaten 3 entire plates of it. It was also a hit with my little nephew, very grab-able and his favorite item to stuff into his face. The day we went there was a cook and one server but they did their best to serve everyone as fast as they could but the items took a bit of time to come out through no fault of their own. Comfort in a bowl! I wasn't feeling great and was really craving something warm and comforting. I ordered the beef noodle soup to go, but the inside of the restaurant looked spacious and clean with plenty of seating (you can see it in the video I posted!). The staff was friendly and got my order out quickly. The real standout? The flat noodles- so chewy and fresh, they soaked up the broth perfectly. There's shared complex parking available, which makes pickup easy, though it might get a little busy depending on the time. read more

Located in a pretty spacious plaza with the Dollar Tree, there was plenty of parking. Came back for their house special beef noodle soup after a while cause the TC location closed. We got the thin noodles and not spicy. The noodles were chewy and the broth was light but savory. We also got the beef rolls which had four pieces, enough for 2 people to split and share. The size was a bit small but the beef and sauce was on point (kind of salty for some bites). Staff was pretty quick with taking our order and bringing the food out. They didn't offer us water cups so we had to ask. Other than that, it was all good. read more

This is such a good fine for hand pulled fresh noodles in the area. It's convenient and it's service is quick, with also delicious noodles. The pickle cabbage soup is appetizing and that beef spicy noodle is on point. And there are many sizes of noodles to choose from. I always order the Chef Special Spicy Beef Noodle Soup with regular noodles. It has such a hearty flavor and I love the slight numbing spice. I've never received overcooked or undercooked noodles, and the texture has consistently been amazing. It's not that spicy for me personally, but I would say I have a higher spice tolerance than the average person. I highly recommend this soup! Service is always decent for an Asian restaurant especially. The girls working there have always been polite and attentive. The times I've gone, the restaurant has been somewhat busy. Not a line outside of the door type of vibe or one where you have to wait to be seated, but the tables have customers sitting down. There are like 6-7 tables and some window "bar" seating. read more

Wow the dishes here are amazing! There aren't that many restaurants that serve Lanzhou noodles made in house so glad I found this place. The Lanzhou beef noodle soup had a variety of noodle options and I chose flat noodles which were very bouncy and tender. The beef noodle soup came with a generous amount of thinly sliced beef which I appreciated! We also got two sides, thinly sliced beef shank and kelp salad which were both delicious. This place is a no frills restaurant that serves great food. read more

Love this place!! Been here a handful of times. I live down in Hacienda Heights which isn't close to this place but the drive is worth it, because the food here is so good! Service is quick! Even on a busy day. This place is a nice little hole in the wall so when it's busy expect a wait. Nothing too crazy though. I highly recommend this place! 10/10 read more
It was a cold and rainy day when my boyfriend suggested 1919 Lanzhou Beef Noodle. They are in the same plaza as 626 Ice Cream. Surprised I never noticed them before. The store had a decent amount of tables and a high top ledge. Staff operated very quick and efficiently. But maybe not thoroughly... I say this because the minute I pull out my chair there was like chopstick wrapper trash, but I wouldn't mind too much but it made me more aware and I saw chili oil stain. Ahhh it would have messed up my pants if I sat down on that. The lady saw me react and move to the other chair but she seemed really unphased by the lacking cleanliness of their establishment. After reviewing their menu, my boyfriend and I both got their Braised Beef Noodle Soup Combo ($20.99), his with the thin noodles and me with my wife noodles. The combo comes with a fried egg or tea egg, a cold dish, and a canned soft drink. We both opted for the tea egg and coke. For the cold dish we got different ones for variety and ended up sharing the cucumber salad and the celery with bean curd. So I really like that they have a cold side dish to provide a contrasting cooling sensation in between the warm soup. At the table we sat at I was able to see the noodle chef hand pulling the noodles. He was making them fresh to order. I was impressed about how quick they were. The noodle was chewy and made to my preference The broth was average, nothing special. The beef was soft and tender, but too much tendon pieces for my liking. The tea egg was sad and basic like a hard boiled egg. It had no tea notes and you can tell from the lacking color it hadn't been soaked too long. The sides were good. I liked the crunchiness of the cucumbers for texture. My boyfriend enjoyed the bean curd since he doesn't often see it being offered. Mixed feelings overall but I really didn't like the dirty chair. I ordered the pickled cabbage beef noodle soup combo which came with the cucumber salad and tea egg. The beef noodle soup was super flavorful and had the perfect amount of salt. The broth had a good beef flavor and was well seasoned. The tea egg was yummy and the cucumber salad was well seasoned and refreshing. I also ordered the pancake beef wrap. The pancake beef wrap is decent, but I've had better at Mama Lu's. The beef wrap portion sizes were also on the smaller end so I would recommend skipping since there are other places that do it better. Service was fast and the servers were nice. They spoke Cantonese and mandarin. The restaurant is a bit small so it can get packed quickly. Additionally, from now until April 30th, they are offering 15% off your entire check. I would come back if I was craving beef noodle soup! Worth trying if you're craving beef noodle soup! read more
We went to this place pretty last minute. There was no wait time to be seated. The waiter was really nice and attentive. The menu was easy to read and order. The food came out sooooo fast. All of our 3 orders came out within 5 minutes. The food tasted amazing too! I would definitely come again and I totally recommend it. The ambiance was really clean and nice. read more

I love the beef noodle soup here! It's so comforting, and the noodles are absolutely perfect - fresh, bouncy, and chewy. They hand-pull the noodles to order, and you can really tell. We had the House Special Beef Noodle Soup and the Pickled Cabbage Beef Noodle Soup. The beef was nice and tender, and everything just came together so well. I can't explain how delicious it is. This is my new favorite spot for beef noodle soup! I'll definitely be back for more. read more
