I haven't gone to Luscious for a long time. I came here on a Monday around noon. I was the only table there. You can either scan the QR code to order or ask the server to order for you. Now they don't even put the price on the menu. I ordered the beef tendon noodles combo with pan fish dumplings. The fish dumplings were not as great as they used to be. They were bland and you need to add $1.50 on top of the combo price. Noddles is still a solid choice but nothing exciting. Food quality is still good but the atmosphere has changed to cold.

Can't believe I never reviewed my favorite spot ever. Best dumplings I've ever had and will ever have. Tastes exactly like the first time I had it which was 10+ years ago. EVERY. TIME. Crispy pan fried bottoms & expect soup to FLY OUT AFTER EVERY BITE. so incredibly flavorful. My go-to and maybe even my death row meal. Just a 10 pc pan fried pork dumpling from luscious pls n thx. Most recent time I went I had to get the frozen ones to satisfy my cravings at home. Tried it the next day out of curiosity and it's STILL BANGIN. long live luscious. The day they close business is the day I close my life.

I had come here a few times before and was really happy with the place. We came in on a Wednesday when they first opened at 5:00pm for dinner. I was surprised how it took a long time for our order as we were the first to arrive. We also saw about 5 take out orders go out while we waited. Seems that was their priority. I was also surprise how the ordering process is done online and paid for before you receive the food including tip. Food was pretty good but not as great as I had remembered a couple of years ago when I came in. Seems they might be sitting on the Michele star from 2021. We had 3 different dumplings - I will say they came out super hot and fresh.

No table or parking available when I arrived but the tasty food made the visit well worth it. The courteous service provided by the server was nice. We ended up getting the food as a takeout because of lack of seats. The order became available fairly quickly. The pan fried dumplings were very juicy and well seasoned. It had so much juice like soup dumplings but crunchiness like a pan fried dumpling should. Just wonderful and delectable. I liked the steamed shrimp chive pork dumplings and pork over rice too. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. I'm so glad I finally got to go experience their famed deliciousness!

Luscious Dumplings is my new favorite spot to satisfy my Chinese food cravings. Everything I tried was delicious, affordable, and definitely lives up to their Michelin Guide recognition. The staff were very welcoming and super friendly as well. A nice bonus is that there's free parking in the plaza where they're located.

Did you know this place was Michelin-rated in 2021 and 2022? It's a small, quaint restaurant with soft jazz playing in the background -- calm, cozy, and welcoming. Everything is served ready to take home if you can't finish -- super convenient! I started with the pickled lotus root, which popped with sweet, tangy pickled ginger -- such a refreshing appetizer. The scallion pancakes were a bit oily, but incredibly crisp, thin, and flaky -- honestly, I couldn't stop eating them! The chicken yuzu 小笼包 (soup dumplings) were the standout -- light, delicate, and infused with a hint of citrus that made them truly unique and delicious. The pan-fried chive pockets were aromatic and full of flavor, and the pan-fried chive shrimp & pork dumplings were just as tasty -- juicy and perfectly seared. For the vegan lovers, the steamed veggie dumplings were hearty, flavorful, and surprisingly satisfying. I didn't try the noodles this time, but judging by how many people ordered them, they're clearly a hit -- definitely on my list for next visit! A must-try spot for dumpling lovers and anyone craving refined comfort food with a Michelin touch.

Pan fried Pork dumplings - a little too oily and salty for my taste . Filling was extra juicy though, a bit of XLB broth in there which I thought was quite unique. Steamed XLB - on par w Dan modern. Decent, hits the spot for when you have the itch but wouldn't drive out of my way. Service was good.

Small area popular with locals. The cashier/staff is really courteous and updates with wait times. Not that much seating so expect a 20 min wait. They take card without a surcharge + tax. They give vinegar chili oil and soy sauce with orders. I got a pork belly rice bowl- it comes in chunks rather than minced and has some bits of pickled veg but not much. The pickled veg is good- crispy, not too sweet. The pork is tender enough to cut with plastic cutlery but still on the lean side and has flavor on the rice. Nice soy sauce flavor, not too five spiced. I tried the pork pan fried dumplings and steamed cabbage pork ones. I highly recommend the pork pan fried dumplings, its the perfect mix of soup dumplings with the pan fried chew. They are lightly fried with medium thick wraps. The pork is salty and flavorful, so id recommend some vegetable meat one. They are very juicy like the name. Would be really nice with some ginger. The boiled cabbage pork ones are more normal, homemade flavor. Overall, nice small business family owned like environment. Try the pan fried dumplings!

The Michelin Stars from previous years are fully deserved! We came by for the first time a few weeks back and I wish we had tried them sooner! My wife found it browsing on yelp so we thought to try it. The location itself is pretty small, but the customer service was great. There's nice decor and a TV playing clips with Youtuber Mark Wiens since he came by and gave Luscious Dumplings a raving review. You can either order at the counter or via a QR code from the table. The staff here super nice and really hospitable. He gave us the recommendations on their top items. We ordered some Pork Soup Dumplings, Pan Fried Pork Dumplings and the Angus Stewed Beef Noodle Soup. All the food came out quickly. It's served in plastic containers and all piping hot. So be careful. First impressions, the dumplings are sizable pieces and that beef noodle soup was as advertised! The Pan Fried Dumplings were pretty damn good! The best I have tried. Very crispy and actually filled with some soup in them. The beef soup is a must order! Tender, light broth with tremendous flavor! The Pork Soup Dumplings were huge. All 8pcs had so much soup inside and bursting with flavor. We pretty much smashed all the food. No leftovers! Highly highly recommend trying out Luscious Dumplings!

one of my favorite spots for comforting warm noodles and dumplings since i was a kid! i love the angus stewed beef noodle soup. the beef is tender and juicy, and the noodles are cooked to perfection. (tip: be sure to ask for the soup on the side if you want to eat it indonesian style!) their pan fried pork dumplings are so so crispy and flavorful... it's genuinely the best i've had!! absolutely must try, and the service is fast.

This Luscious Dumplings location can be found in the same plaza as Good Fortune Supermarket, Lin's Club, Macky's Noodle House. To celebrate Mother's Day early, last Saturday, (because I will be leaving for my vacation during Mother's Day weekend, but don't worry, my brother will celebrate our mother while I am gone), I ended up ordering food to go from Luscious Dumplings. When asked what did my mom want for her early Mother's Day dinner, she said dumpling and noodle. Based on the reviews (overall rating of 4 stars with over 800+ reviews), I decided to order here. I made an order online after 5 pm (when the restaurant reopened for dinner, as they close between lunch and dinner) and ended up choosing: Scallion Pancake, $5.50 prior to tax- Based on the reviews, many Yelp members recommended this. But we were rather disappointed with this because it was just so, so oily. It really should have been drained because it was just drenched in oil. I have definitely had better and would not order this again. Pan Fried Pork, $13.50 prior to tax (10 pieces)- This was another one that was highly recommended to order. And just like the scallion pancake, this was also incredibly oily. I would not order this again either (and yes I have had better). Cabbage Shrimp and Pork Dumpling, $13.50 prior to tax (10 pieces)- We all liked this dumpling and would order again. Mushroom Meat Sauce Dry Noodle, $13.50 prior to tax- I like that the soup was packed separately so that the noodles would not be soggy. I really liked this dish and so did my husband. My mom didn't have any. I thought the mushrooms and ground beef was pretty tasty and I also liked that long noodles that were perfectly cooked. I liked the seasoning on the beef and mushrooms. Angus Stewed Beef Noodle, $14 prior to tax- Definitely a favorite among us all. The beef was tender and flavorful. Also just like the other noodle dish that I had ordered, the soup was also packed separately. There was a pretty good fair amount of beef in this dish. -------------------------------- (Total= $66.31 after tax, prior to tip) My order was ready when I arrived, around 6:10 pm (the order was supposed to be ready by 6 pm). I am sure we will try this restaurant again in the future but will avoid the scallion pancake and pan fried pork dumpling. But would definitely order the other 3 dishes again. Please note that there is seating inside this small restaurant, but only 6- 8 small tables inside. When I arrived, there were 2 small tables still available for seating but most of the other patrons that came in when I came in were just here to get their to go order.

Casual spot with a small menu of dumplings, noodles, and appetizers! Really friendly and quick service. Enjoyed the thin and crispy scallion pancakes, the pan fried pork dumplings, xiao long bao, and pork ears. The best dish here was the pan fried pork dumplings which were juicy and soupy like a xiao long bao.

3.5 STARS went on a friday afternoon for lunch, about an hour before closing. i wanted to try this place out since they were on the michelin bib gourmand list. plenty of free parking in the plaza. the store is somewhat small, but we got the last free table. order using the qr code on the table, and pay at the same time which i thought was interesting. the food came out in a decent amount of time but could've been a little faster. the xlb were the slowest and arrived as we were finishing everything else up. they also use disposable containers for everything, so i felt like presentation was lacking scallion pancake (3.5/5): decent, the center could've been crispier. pretty oily spicy pork and shrimp wonton (3/5): decent, the spicy sauce was okay, it tasted like peppercorns which i wasnt a huge fan of pan fried pork dumplings (4/5): these are listed as their top item and i can see why! it's almost like a xlb since there was a good amount of soup inside of the dumpling, so be careful when eating them! broth was a little salty but overall really good pork xlb (4/5): these were pretty good as well! very soupy overall, a solid spot for dumplings. would come back, in particular for their pan fried pork dumplings

TK Cafe has thoroughly impressed me off first impression, and if I was closer, I'd probably be a regular here. For how much we ordered, the food didn't take too long to come out and genuinely, was so good. We got a lot here, from the garlic shrimp to the popcorn chicken, and so much more. The popcorn chicken was, without a doubt, my favorite item. We originally came here because a friend said they had the best popcorn chicken, and I'd honestly agree. It was crispy but also still a bit juicy and I feel like most places go heavily into the crisp aspect and it ends up just seeming overcooked. But it was a 10/10 here. The proportions are huge, so it's easy to over order. The crab rangoons were good on the portions and crispness and not overly filled with cream cheese which is nice. The noodles were good, pretty average, same with the Mac salad. The garlic shrimp was a bit overly garlic-y, but it was still good. If you're looking for a new Hawaiian spot, definitely check out TK Cafe. The proportions are huge and the taste is amazing. If I'm ever in Monrovia again, I'd definitely be stopping by!

And their beverage menu is extensive as well, from your basic teas to milk tea boba and slushies. It's pretty impressive how these folks are able to squeeze all this food in this tiny little restaurant. Decided to go with the dish that everyone who has been to Hawaii has eaten at some point: the loco moco. I thought it might be a good way to gauge how authentic their food is. Ordered a side of Portuguese sausage musubi as well. Yeah, I'm a pig. Loco Moco - 5/10: so yeah. This definitely isn't your traditional loco moco, or at least the dish that I grew up eating (808 born and raised). Two patties, mounds of rice, eggs (unfortunately served over hard...should always be over easy so the yolk comes out) side mac salad - check, check, check and check. But then they bury on the bottom of this dish a bunch of stir-fried veggies, which threw me off a bit. This dish ain't supposed to be somewhat healthy. And then they throw a very light brown sauce on it that definitely isn't gravy. More like a brown sauce you'd mix in with pan-fried noodles. Yeah, just not the way this dish is supposed to made. But at least they give you a lot of it! - Portuguese Spam Musubi - 7.5/10: this one was much better. All the elements were there, and yes, they used Portuguese sausages. Hard to screw up musubi, but believe me, it can be done. Two pieces come in an order and they're on the larger side. So yeah, a little disappointed. I will say though that if I'm in the area again, I might order some dim sum. Happy feasting!

For dishes like the beef chow fun and steamed fish for about $14.88, making it super affordable for a large group meal. The food came out fresh and hot, and the menu had a lot of variety to choose from. The restaurant gets busy, on weekends but service moved pretty efficiently overall. A perk for this place is that they do have a parking garage, which made parking way less stressful compared to other busy dim sum spots in the area.

I heard about their AYCE dim sum promo but that actually made me not want to come because I knew the wait would've been very long, and I hate waiting for a table just to eat. Fast forward to tonight and a suggestion was made to try the $14.88 dinner special at Bistro 1968. Here's my honest review of my experience. * Parking - Self parking behind the restaurant. I came on a Monday night dinner time , and there was only 2 cars in the entire lot. The parking lot was very creepy as it was't too well lit. I could see the kitchen from the structure because the backdoor was left opened. There were boxes and junk littered around the area. * You have to walk through a long hallway from the parking lot to get to the restaurant. There are signs to guide you, but if you're going there for the first time, it could be a bit confusing. * We got there at 7pm and there was only 1 table of customers. I honestly don't know how to describe the decor because it depends on which part of restaurant you're looking at. * Staff were all VERY nice. They gave us free dessert (Egg Tarts and Pineapple Buns) so that was awesome. * Food - I ordered the Fried Fish but it wasn't fully cooked. Some parts were still raw so it had a fishy taste. We ate a few pieces but left most of it untouched. Everything else was pretty much okay except for its temperature - it was lukewarm. Nothing was piping hot except for the steamed Pork Spareribs from their all day dim sum menu. * There were some small gnats that kept flying around and when one actually landed in my food, I just stopped eating altogether. * No alcohol available but definitely not a huge deal. Their staff are so nice that I actually feel bad about not writing a positive review about the establishment, but I really just don't see how I am able to rate it any higher than 2 stars. I don't think I will be coming back.

We were literally just…read morehere a couple of weeks ago, living our best noodle life, and now it's gone like a ghosted situationship!! I'm now brokenhearted!!! :( We came back ready to reunite with that soy sauce chow mein.... simple, no nonsense, just noodles, bean sprouts, and onions doing exactly what they're supposed to do: minding their business and tasting amazing!! No extra veggies crashing the party and watering things down. As it should be!! And the siu mai? Solid, dependable, and absolutely did not disappoint!!! The kind of duo you start planning your next meal around... until the restaurant disappears on you. Now I'm just here, craving noodles and questioning how a place that serves delicious food would close down!!!!

I've been coming here regularly for both breakfast and lunch ever since they took over the old Red…read moreChina space, and it has quickly become one of my go-to spots. The food is consistently good, honestly better than a lot of nearby places that charge quite a bit more. What won me over right away, though, was the breakfast combo. Two dim sum items and a hot drink for just $14 is a genuinely good deal. A cold drink is only $1 more (typical HK practice), and you can also take your drink to go for another $1, which is a nice little convenience. I'm pretty particular about milk tea, so I don't say this lightly: their half coffee, half milk tea really hits the spot every time. It's balanced, and satisfying. Beyond the combo, they also serve all the comfort staples, porridge, fried chow mein, Chinese donuts, and my personal favorite, rice noodles with a variety of fillings. It delivers the same comforting flavors you want from a casual dim sum-style breakfast, but without the inflated prices, long waits, and hectic atmosphere that have become so common at more traditional dim sum spots. This place is a solid, dependable replacement for the usual dim sum experience. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the service is consistently warm and welcoming. The driveway can be a little tricky. It sits right next to the Taco Bell drive-through exit, separated only by a fire hydrant, so it's easy to miss or get confused when pulling in. But it's a small tradeoff for a spot that delivers this much value and consistency.
