We arrived at little before 11:30am to eat unlimited Dim sum. Me and my lady planned to come here for a week. Once inside no one attended us that we had to seek someone out. We placed a online reservation 3 hours before. The place opened at 11 and only a few people already seated. Place looked alright if you don't focus too hard on the off putting parts like extension cords all over and the bright lights in the ceiling. We went for the unlimited dim sum. Unfortunately, they don't do that anymore. Now they only serve three types of dim sum and each plate is 9.99. We left with broken hearts. Parking sucks by the way. Only a few next to the restaurant. The rest belong to the office building next door

Happy Hot Pot AYCE -, quick review Clean tiered menu (as shown): Classic, Premium, and Supreme. Lunch ranges ~$22.99-$33.99, dinner ~$27.99-$39.99. Supreme tier includes wagyu, while Classic and Premium cover staples like sliced beef short plate and chicken & lamb. Food selection is solid overall seafood (shrimp, squid, clams, fish), plus vegetables like daisy crowns, cabbage, and wood ear mushrooms. The wagyu is the highlight--tender, flavorful, and worth upgrading for. Dim sum is a $5 add on but limited (only shumai and xiao long bao). Drinks are standard soda machine options. There is Pepsi diet & Pepsi zero options, unsweetened tea and lemon lime soda. Downside: plates and dishes could be cleaner, and the sauce/vegetable stations need better freshness and upkeep. It was gross to see food still stuck on every other sauce plated or dishes. Service was attentive, and it was quiet when we went (~3:30 PM). Overall: good value for AYCE decent price, I love that they had private rooms for parties and family gathering, my favorite meat was especially the supreme menu the wagyu was my favorite, but cleanliness and selection consistency need improvement.

Came to Happy AYCE Hot Pot for hot pot... but the biggest surprise was finding Musang King D197 durian here As a durian lover, I know how hard it is to find real quality D197 in the U.S. This one was seriously impressive -- rich, creamy, sweet with that slight bittersweet finish that real Musang King fans love. One bite and the flavor just explodes. Did not expect an AYCE hot pot restaurant to secretly have "the Hermes of durian" hidden here Honestly one of the best surprises I've had in a long time. Besides the durian, the food here is still as fresh as always. The meat, seafood, and hot bar items were all great quality, and the staff were super nice and welcoming even during busy hours. The whole atmosphere felt fun and energetic. If you love durian, don't miss it. Smells intense, tastes even crazier

What happened here? The food quality is way down and prices are up considerably. Happy AYCE used to be one of my go-to places for great value hot pot, but I can't recommend it anymore following my previous visit. It doesn't help that they were shut down by the health inspector due to a cockroach infestation in December. We got inside and nobody was at the front. We waited for 10 minutes and had to go inside to get someone to get us seated. At least our server was nice and understood our frustrations. She genuinely seemed like she was trying her best despite the restaurant being busy and understaffed. It was difficult to get a server to take our orders for more meat and the food came out slowly. Also, the plates were dirty we had to ask for replacements multiple times. Seems like they haven't improved on their cleanliness. The self serve bar is a shadow of what it used to be. They removed many food options and replaced them with ramen noodles. Veggie options were also replaced with cheaper alternatives like lettuce and spinach. The soda machine was out of a few sodas at one point and I'm not sure if or when it was refilled. Happy AYCE Hot Pot has become Sad AYCE Hot Pot now. Cleanliness is definitely a recurring issue and I don't trust that they've made the steps to fix it. Given the increase in pricing and a decrease in quality, look elsewhere for hot pot. $130 for a party of 3 on Sunday afternoon. Be careful if you come here :(

Came to Happy AYCE Hot Pot with a few friends and honestly... SO worth it. The meat quality was super fresh, the broth was rich, and everything just hit the spot. Perfect place when you want to eat GOOD and leave happy. But what really made the experience stand out was the service. The manager, Tinny, was sooo sweet and patient. It was my first time here and she walked me through everything, gave recommendations, and made the whole experience super easy and enjoyable. She even showed us their private party room -- if you have like 10-20 people, this is SUCH a vibe. Way more private and perfect for birthdays or gatherings. Good food + great service + cute vibe = 10/10 Definitely coming back again

I want so bad to give this place a 5 star review. The service is attentive and accommodating. The meats and broth are amazing. On our visit the buffet items were cold, we think due to a power issue, which they were trying to fix, but the food in the buffet never got hot. We will be back because the curry looked amazing. You can make your own sauces and the veggies are abundant.

Amazing coffee , very fresh fish

I had a great experience at Happy Ace Hot Pot. From the moment I walked in, it was clear how much care and hard work the team puts into running the restaurant. The staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. The restaurant itself was very clean and well-organized. Everything felt well-maintained, which added to the comfort and overall dining experience. Customer service stood out in a really positive way--everyone was patient, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that guests were having a good time. Most importantly, the food was high-quality and fresh. The ingredients tasted well-prepared and thoughtfully selected, and the hot pot experience felt both satisfying and well put together. Overall, Happy Ace Hot Pot stands out for its cleanliness, kind service, strong work ethic, and consistently high-quality food. I would definitely come back and recommend it.

If you're looking for an all-you-can-eat hotpot spot that's easy to reserve, offers dessert and fruit, and doesn't cost much more than a regular lunch set, this place checks those boxes. The service is quick and friendly, and it has that lively, bustling vibe that definitely helps build an appetite. My favorite thing here is the winter melon tea -- light, refreshing, and free-flowing. The fresh fruits are also a nice touch. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for me. I really wanted to like this place, but I struggled to find something I could enjoy enough to make the price worth it. I usually find at least one redeeming broth, meat, (even my favorite: tofu skin), but not this time. I ordered the spicy original broth and the plain original broth. The spicy one was thin and barely spicy, with a burnt oil flavor that overpowered everything. At first I thought it was just smoky, but after a few sips I realized something in the oil was scorched. The original broth didn't help much either -- it had a strong herbal aroma (probably ginseng or something similar, i took a photo) that completely dominated the flavor. I tried adjusting it with condiments, but every sauce had its own overpowering, pungent note. Even the chili oil -- usually the hero when all else fails -- couldn't save it, since the oil had the same lingering fried scent you'd find on their french fries and fritters from the buffet. The meats were another letdown -- they tasted gamey (especially on the fats), and even the lamb wasn't lean. The dim sum buffet, though only an extra $5, didn't add much value either. The tofu skin had a weird leathery, paper-like texture, the chocolate fountain was overly sweet, the soybean milk was also pungent, and even the soda station are Pepsi instead of Coke. Overall, while the price and service are good, the flavors just didn't work for me--and this is rare, since I've tried ALL hotpots around , I can always find at least one thing to enjoy even at my least favorite place. If you enjoy bold, herbal broths and fatty, gamey meats, this might hit the spot -- but for my taste, it's a skip.

I would give this place 4.2 stars. Atmosphere is ok. Nothing outstanding. Regular hot spot place that is clean, taken care of and working till Very late, which is what brought us there. Price point is average. For the amount and the quality of the food you are getting it's fairly priced. The meat they serve is extremely expensive and if you buy it at the grocery store it will cost you 15.99/lbs on average. Might as well go to the restaurant and get its money worth. Especially if you are hungry. Service was normal. They asked us if we wanted smth else I think 2 times, brought us all we needed and didn't bother with their presence too much.

Been here many times and love their selection of cooked food and hot pot selections. Service can be spotty but it depends on how busy the restaurant is. Yes, their prices have gone up since we first started going here but everywhere is the same. Their meat, seafood, noodles, and vegetable selections are good. One time we were disappointed that they ran out of fish and meatballs. Other than that, we have been satisfied with the food. Service can be a hit or miss though and that is why I can't give it 5 stars. Sometimes we would have to get our own ladles, tongs, bowls, etc. because the staff completely forgot to give them to us. Give it a try especially on cold days because their broth will warm your stomach.

Ellen Z.

3 stars for the overall experience. It was a super hot day and didn't expect to be sweating beads over my food. There was 1 fan blowing in the corner. Ventilation is unsatisfactory which for that is 1 star. Meat selection was ok and unlimited veggies had a good assortment. The hot station offered several warm dishes which was a nice addition. We ordered dim sum as well for an extra charge but was disappointed with the speed in which they arrived at our table. Had to constantly check up on its ETA. Desserts were available but didn't look appetizing so we passed.

This used to be my favorite hot pot place for the last two years, it truly has gone downhill since. The prices has gone up so much just in the last year, and while I understand inflation etc., I expected the experience to be better if not the same. The food selection has gone downhill, over than the meats all the self-serve stuff just aren't as good as before. You can see empty spaces where containers should be at the self-serve area, it's just not as satisfying of an experience anymore. A place that used to bring me so much joy and comfort, I hope they improve

Great spot for hot pot. There are multiple choices of broth in which you can also choose two or three different ones in one pot. Meat is ordered with the server, and seafood + veggies are available in the fridged areas by the hot foods buffet. The hot bar food served was delicious, and I really wish that they allowed an option for hot bar only. Service was friendly and helpful, but a little hard to find. The variety of sauces at the sauce bar made it easy to customize each bite. Cozy atmosphere and fair prices. A couple weeks ago, drinks were charged. Now it is included with the pricing.

They had a laminated menu, and you use a market to select which dim sum items that you want to order. I felt like we ordered the entire menu! The quality of the food was very good! The dishes felt less greasy than I'm used to, and the portions were so big. The waiters were also very friendly, patient, and kind. When I asked for a takeout box the waiter made a point to show me that there were holes on one side of the container and cautioned me to not put anything that would leak on that side. The only potential downside I could see is that it is a small restaurant and I think there's only about 15-20 seats inside. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely return!

I heard about their AYCE dim sum promo but that actually made me not want to come because I knew the wait would've been very long, and I hate waiting for a table just to eat. Fast forward to tonight and a suggestion was made to try the $14.88 dinner special at Bistro 1968. Here's my honest review of my experience. * Parking - Self parking behind the restaurant. I came on a Monday night dinner time , and there was only 2 cars in the entire lot. The parking lot was very creepy as it was't too well lit. I could see the kitchen from the structure because the backdoor was left opened. There were boxes and junk littered around the area. * You have to walk through a long hallway from the parking lot to get to the restaurant. There are signs to guide you, but if you're going there for the first time, it could be a bit confusing. * We got there at 7pm and there was only 1 table of customers. I honestly don't know how to describe the decor because it depends on which part of restaurant you're looking at. * Staff were all VERY nice. They gave us free dessert (Egg Tarts and Pineapple Buns) so that was awesome. * Food - I ordered the Fried Fish but it wasn't fully cooked. Some parts were still raw so it had a fishy taste. We ate a few pieces but left most of it untouched. Everything else was pretty much okay except for its temperature - it was lukewarm. Nothing was piping hot except for the steamed Pork Spareribs from their all day dim sum menu. * There were some small gnats that kept flying around and when one actually landed in my food, I just stopped eating altogether. * No alcohol available but definitely not a huge deal. Their staff are so nice that I actually feel bad about not writing a positive review about the establishment, but I really just don't see how I am able to rate it any higher than 2 stars. I don't think I will be coming back.

We made reservations and that was very easy. It was busy for an early Saturday night but not as…read morepacked as it used to be. Pork xiao long bao: 9/10. Very good. Nice taste and texture Chicken xiao long bao: 7/10. Not as big a fan. When we ordered more xlb for round 2, we definitely did not get more of this one. Scallion pancake: 8/10. Solid but not much to say about it Walnut shrimp: 9/10. Definitely some of the better walnut shrimps I've had. The shrimp are also a great size. We ordered this again Seafood fried rice: 9/10. Very nice portion and decent amount of seafood in here. I like the variety of seafood. Green beans: 7/10. I don't think most restaurants do a good job, but this one isn't bad Rice cakes: I don't think I can fairly judge rice cakes because I'm generally not a fan, but everyone else liked it Beef rolls: 9/10. Also very good. They were nice and checked if we wanted to cut it into 4 pieces or 6 which was very considerate of them. Servers are very nice and friendly. I really liked the service. They were also very quick and efficient with clearing empty plates out and refilling the water containers.

If you are craving dumplings yet don't want to stand in an hr long line or pay a steeper cost while…read moreat it, this place gives you the fix. Took our dad here for his birthday and everyone loved it. Prime time weekend, i will say the lines can still be long here but 1hr vs 2-3hrs at dung tai fung. Food may not be as fancy Michelin or ambiance but it definitely hits the spot. Price isn't cheap but still a bit cheaper. Overall a very good alternative but there are also still many good places if you don't care for the crazy ambiance or presentations at mom and pops spots. This is if your trying to compare with Ding tai fung, its kicked down a notch or so. Generally, better than the mom & pops yet toned down from the famous one. My least favorite is the cucumber salad and the stir fried noodles as the flavors were lacking. Everything else were good.
