Super spacious inside, more spacious than the Diamond Bar location. The food was served fairly quickly. Beef roll was good, lots of beef, but I wish the actual roll itself had some crispiness to it. It was pretty soft. Braised beef and tendon noodle soup was spicy!! I didn't order it as spicy and the menu also did not indicate it was a spice dish, so not sure why it was spicy. The soup still tasted very good though and the beef and tendons were very soft and juicy. It could use a bit more veggies. Fortunately, the extra beef and tendons I got on the side were not spicy. Xiao long baos were good. Classic go-to dim sum dish every time. The skin isn't too thick. Great flavor with some vinegar and soy sauce. Hot Oil Shrimp Pork with Chinese Cabbage Wonton was ever spicier but this was expected. However, there was a weird taste like it's not very fresh or there was some tap water taste to it. I could hardly eat even one of them with the weird taste so strong. Overall very disappointed and not likely to come back to this location. This is a must for the local SGV must try restaurant. Parking is a little rough as this plaza is full of eateries so each restaurant is competing for parking for their customers. My go to items that I order are the large teas. The passion fruit or mango teas are gigantic. They do make it sweet though so I end up ordering a couple of cup of ice water and add the tea into it. Then we always get a non spicy popcorn chicken and I'll get a side of the chili powder so I can share this with the kids. We love the pan fried dumplings and XIAO long baos too. It's best to come during the week or else there's always a wait during the weekend. It was my first time visiting and I was not disappointed! We ordered the beef noodle soup, xiao long bao, and black pepper beef udon. My favorite was definitely the black pepper beef udon! 8/29/2026: Wow! Second visit almost exactly 1 year later, and this place still doesn't disappoint! We pulled in to the parking lot around 8pm on a Saturday night, and the very ample parking lot was packed to the gills. There are several restaurants in the lot, but Mr. Dragon Noodle House seemed to be the busiest with several groups of people waiting outside for a table. I called and was told they're open until 9pm, but if you arrive before 8:40pm they will still seat you and you can order and dine. He quoted a 10-20 minute wait which didn't seem possible, but we took a chance and placed our name on the waitlist. I love the tablets that most restaurants in SGV use. It's so efficient! The host handed us a laminated menu and an order form after we checked in so we could figure out what we wanted even before we sat down. They get high marks for efficiency! Within 10 minutes, we were called to our waiting table. They are a well oiled machine! As soon as a party leaves, a team of 3 smiling staff converge on the table to clear the dishes, clean the table and re-set for the next patrons. We ordered our drinks and a Popcorn Chicken appetizer. Hubby says this is the best popcorn chicken he's had to date, and he's a bit of a snob! No dipping sauces needed. He ordered "No Spicy" and they brought chili powder on the side. They fried what I believe was fresh basil with the chicken and it was so tasty, I would request extra next time! It's well seasoned and crispy. The portion is easily generous enough to share with 4 or more people. Their 0% Sugar Green Tea is served icy cold in a huge beer stein, and is so refreshing! A perfect accompaniment to the meal. It comes in many flavors as well but I didn't want anything sweet. We shared an order of their Hot Oil Shrimp, Pork & Cabbage wontons in a bowl. Delicious, but if you're not a heat seeker don't forget to request it "mild". Now for what I considered the star of the table, their House Special Beef Noodle Soup. This is a dish that I love and am always looking for the best bowl.. and Mr Dragon is high up there. Don't come at me, but we had heard the hype about Corner Beef Noodle House and tried theirs last year. I understand why this place is always so packed. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and wait for a party of 3 was 45 mins. Handsdown the popcorn chicken was my favorite crispy, flavorful, juicy dark chicken meat on the inside; everything I could want in a popcorn chicken. I've been here with my coworkers so many times now that I've lost count. It's one of those restaurants where we've never had a bad experience and the food and service are consistent. It's one of the default lunch spots for us when we can't decide where else to go and everyone likes their food. The one negative I can point out is the parking situation. My partner introduced me to this spot and I was quite surprised by how busy it was on a afternoon weekend. We were seated immediately and orders were taken quickly which is a nice plus. They seem to have tons of staff that walks in and out of the area, many of the staff when they're idle are facing towards the customer on standby, so they're pretty attentive. My partner and I both ordered a bowl of the House Special Beef Noodle Soup which is what their mainly known for. Order came out really quick and presentation is pretty standard. I loved the portions that they provide, 3-5 beef pieces, and they're HUGE, it's well cooked, and melts off easily with each bite. Noodles are delicious as well and it's mixed with a broth that's not too salty. 10/10, would recommend. We also ordered a beef roll to share, was tasty but it wasn't anything special. Missing this place already The service here is quick and the food is amazing. The dan dan noodles were sooo saucy and the peanut/spicy sauce was just perfection. I would love if they added extra green onions (maybe i can ask next time haha) The popcorn chicken was also such a great shareable item. They give a pretty big portion and the dish is very reminiscent of older boba shop's popcorn chicken. The spicy wontons had a nice kick and great flavor.
