It is really a restaurant with a very high cost performance We ordered nine dishes and only spent one hundred, which is really economical in the United States! The important thing is that the dishes taste good, and the spicy and non-spicy dishes are all fried very delicious. It is a restaurant suitable for all ages. Their special dishes are now available all day, with a total of 25 dishes, all for $11.9, and rice is also providedIt can be used as a canteen for workers! ! This place is also suitable for gatherings with family and friends. There will be performances in the evening. If the weather is good, you can sit on the outdoor terrace to dine, which is very atmospheric!

4 for the service and the food. Decent food and spacious place with no wait time at a Friday night. Deduct 1 star cause the owner was kinda unbelievable. She was playing mahjong with her friends near the entrance and the all the tables are inside. It was kinda hot inside due to the structure of the place even tho it was cold outside and near the entrance . We asked the server ( she was sweating too ) to adjust the AC but the owner told the server not to, cause the owner said she didn't feel hot at all. We had to go directly to her and ask her to turn on the AC for us. Well..... Eggplant with preserve eggs 5/5. Super delicious. Creamy and flavorful. with rice. Grilled oyster 3.5/5 : fresh, sweet but pretty small. 1 for $4 is Kinda pricy. The rest of it : 3.5 to 4 in general. We actually order a bunch but I didn't take pics of all of it.

Came back for the stinky tofu, left feeling disappointed. I used to really enjoy Tang Dynasty, especially for their Changsha-style stinky tofu. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to my expectations. While the service and atmosphere were still decent, the food--especially the tofu--was a letdown, which is why I'm giving this place 3 out of 5 stars. Ambiance: 3.5/5 The space is clean with decent lighting and seating. However, I think the vibe could be improved with better music--90s-era Chinese pop was playing the whole time, and it didn't really match the energy of the restaurant. Some updated or lo-fi instrumental would've helped set a better mood. Authenticity: 3/5 I came back specifically for the Changsha Stinky Tofu, hoping for the crispy, bold flavor I remembered. Sadly, the tofu this time was soggy with no crisp exterior, which took away from the authentic experience. The other kebabs were okay, but lacked the flavor punch I expected from a BBQ spot known for bold Chinese street food. Flavor: 3/5 Besides the disappointing tofu, the skewers were just average. Some came out lukewarm and felt like they had been sitting out for a bit. Nothing in the meal really stood out this time, which was a letdown considering the reputation and past experience. Cost: 3.5/5 Prices are reasonable for a Chinese BBQ place in the area. You won't break the bank, but the value doesn't quite match what you're getting, especially when the food isn't consistently fresh or flavorful. Service: 5/5 The one bright spot of this visit was our server--super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. No complaints here. The staff made a real effort to make us feel comfortable. Final Verdict: 3/5 Tang Dynasty still has potential, especially with such kind staff and a cozy environment. But for a place that once stood out for its stinky tofu, the decline in food quality really hurt the experience. Hoping they bring back the crisp and flavorful Changsha stink tofu that made this place a personal favorite in the first place.

Honestly, I don't understand the hate for this restaurant. There aren't many places open late these days, especially post-COVID, and they've got huge TVs for watching whatever game is on. They also post a lot of happy hour deals on their Instagram, making it a great spot to hang out with friends. I really like their skewer selection, especially since they use a charcoal grill. The garlic eggplant and corn skewers are my favorites, and I love getting a bunch of snacks to enjoy while watching a game or listening to old-school music I haven't heard in years. It's a fun place that deserves more attention. Sure, not every dish is for everyone, but it's a gastropub--grab a drink and relax.

I don't normally come up to SGV to kick it and drink, but we recently came across this Chinese pub and it was pretty lit like as if project-x was happening again. When we were there, this big group approached us and gave us free multiple shots and wanted to vibe. Of course we joined in the fun. I tell you this though, it wasn't no hazy night. Responsibilities. For the food, we ordered the grilled garlic oysters, beef skewers, stir fried tomato and eggs, and sautéed tofu. The food was decent and pairs well with alcohol. What's cool about this place is that there's a karaoke area where you can sing to your hearts, a couple card games, and it's spacious. It's a fun spot for a friend's gathering.

I love skewers and my go to has been Xinjiang BBQ or Little Skewer. Decided to check this place out for a change. Its more low key than Xinjiang BBQ or Little Skewer. Xinjiang gets crowded and waits could exceed an hour while Little Skewer has a wait and its super loud. This place was more quiet, mellow and no wait at all. Food was good. Drinks were okay. Service was lacking though as the waitress kept messing up what we ordered.

Located on the 3rd floor of the Hilton plaza, we stumbled onto a quiet and empty restaurant at 5:30 pm on a Friday. There was top 100 pop music playing loudly over the speakers and in the corner of the restaurant is a mini stage with some big screens, microphones, and speakers. Something tells me this place can get wild in the evenings but I wasn't there to witness it for myself. I wasn't there for entertainment. I was strictly there for soju and something to munch on in between shots. Luckily, Hunan cuisine pairs extremely well with Korean spirits. Who knew? I ordered the lamb skewers, stir fried beef, and fried quail. Lamb skewers: I was shocked at how little meat there was per skewer but given the price point (under $10), it wasn't too bad. Flavorful but again, wish there was more to nibble on per stick. Stir fried beef: Though well seasoned, this was soooo salty! We ordered a side of rice because there was no way we can get through the dish without it. I liked the balance of cilantro with the beef. Fried quail: takes a bit for this to arrive. A bit dry because it was overcooked but it was still tasty. I liked how they provided seasoning for you to sprinkle on the meat. Overall, the food paired perfectly with the soju and the service was pleasant and quick.

This is my new favorite spot for Chinese skewers! We went on a Friday night and there was plenty of parking and no wait. The service is great, server is super attentive and food came out fast. For skewers, we got the secret beef, secret lamb and corn skewers. We also tried other dishes like potato dry pot, stinky tofu, grilled oysters and scallops. My favorites were the stinky tofu, we ended up ordering 2nd one because of how goood it is. The interior of the restaurant is also super cute with a lot of traditional Chinese decorations. Honestly, I'd come here and be able to eat right away than waiting for over an hour at little skewers or other popular skewers place any day.

Tang Dynasty takes over the space vacated by Chang An in the San Gabriel Hilton shopping plaza. They kept the interior decor the same and added a karaoke stage. The food has become a bar menu and is Hunan pub cuisine. Lots of drink specials and shots. After a long drive from NorCal we met my Daughter C and some friends there to give them a try. We started with a try of shots and beers. I didn't know what they were but they were all sugary fruity. We ordered a bunch of items: Seafood platter : shrimp, crawfish, abalone, crab, sea cucumber, and scallops. All items were good but not worth the price. Stinky tofu Sautéed potato strings Smashed garlic eggplant Sautéed A Choi Hunan spicy fish was very good. The service was spotty with the Karaoke host helping out the servers. Plenty of parking in the Hilton plaza. Tang Dynasty is more like a Karaoke bar then a Hunan restaurant and the clientele reflects that.

The new owner took over this restaurant after the pandemic winding down one year ago. It is at the third floor at the plaza of the Hilton Los Angeles San Gabriel, a modern Hunan restaurant with a nice ambience. The stir-fried bean sprouts (清炒豆苗) is the best in Los Angeles. It is a good venue for a party, especially a nice patio for a private party. Every Friday and Saturday night, a live performer sings songs, etc.

Their stinky tofu is on the stinkier side and delicious with chili oil and cilantro. The potato dry pot is flavorful and perfect with a bowl of rice. The crawfish was the only one I would pass on- the sauce was good but it didn't really simmer into the crawfish unless you dip it after you peel it. Overall, pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! P.S. the store is located on the third floor of the plaza. There are plenty of underground parking available.

Located on the third floor of the Hilton Plaza, Tang Dynasty is a fun place to hang out at night. They have a huge menu of Hunan food and drinks (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic) and I'm told they have karaoke as well. Food wise, everything tasted great! The scallop vermicelli came topped with a super garlicky mixture and was the perfect bite sized snack. However, the star of the show was the griddled hand ripped cabbage which was nice and crisp, a lil' buttery, and came with plenty of sauce for your rice. Just a heads up - they mean it when they say something is spicy. I can handle a pretty decent level of spice but the cumin lamb had me blowing my nose. Tasted really good but it did burn more than I expected. What makes this spot more of a nighttime hangout spot are their fun cocktails and alcoholic beverages! My friends and I shared the kaleidoscope - a selection of yuzu, lemon, strawberry, and peach shots - which looks great for photos. The yuzu and lemon were refreshing and tasted just like the real fruits, but the strawberry and peach did taste a bit artificial. The only downside of this spot is that the service is hands off. You order through your phone, they bring you your food, and they don't really check in. They come by if you make eye contact but given that this spot is kinda pricey, I would've liked a more hands on approach to help explain the menu and what they specialize in.

It proved more difficult when dealing with the owner Scott. I'll start by saying the end result was us rescheduling at the same rate that we booked & our event went well, however it wasn't without hiccups. When rescheduling, we were specifically instructed by Scott to cancel our booking in Peerspace & rebook the new date. That's when issues started. Before cancelling I mentioned how Peerspace won't refund our full amount & Scott replied that whatever isn't refunded will be credited toward the new date. That didn't happen without us constantly reaching out via text, email, & Peerspace. When you request a date on Peerspace it's pending review/approval from Blush, however it charges you immediately. Since we opted for the payment plan that required about half down & remainder later, we were waiting on our refund to book the new date. It never came. When we were finally able to have a phone call with Scott, I couldn't get one word in the entire time he was mansplaining the world of business. He was very patronizing & I swallowed my pride because we just wanted a resolve & to not lose the deposit. I asked very clearly whether he was going to uphold our agreement. He did, but under the condition that we pay the remainder of our balance upfront in good faith to them. We did & that was that. Thereafter, it was back & forth whether Chris would still be working our event which Scott said he was. Chris was the saving grace of Blush in our opinion. Customer service & how you treat people is king, so it put our hearts at ease. But not for long, since it was changed later to Jin. Getting Jin to respond was difficult. We requested a final walk through with our coordinator about a month before our event. Jin told us he wasn't feeling well & wasn't present for most of the walk through. So we asked questions via email instead. I specifically mentioned a clean facility is important to us. The place just wasn't as polished as we first saw it. He was responsive only after I'd send text follow ups. The week of, not at all. I was waiting on confirmation about our drink selection which I never got & we just hoped it would all work out the day of. Day of our coordinator arrived first. The bathrooms were clean but the bar, cocktail tables, mirror hallway, & front door were full of fingerprints and sticky as if not cleaned from a previous event. We were told there would be 2 staff & that they'd be able to help us move cocktail tables. We weren't aware one of those people would be Jin & he wasn't helpful at all. He completely ignored our coordinator & aunt, but jumped to help our DJ with the sound system. We can only conclude it's because our DJ is a man & as a same sex female couple that leaves such a bad taste in our mouths. Our coordinator & aunt ended up cleaning everything with the one rag & spray bottle he gave after we repeated asked. Coordinator, wife, son, & I moved the heavy tables/ottomans. The drinks didn't taste like our selections. But the worst part was that he started charging our guests upon arrival. My wife & I stepped away to change our clothes. We were there 1.5hrs before start time & Jin never approached us or our coordinator for our card. He also had our itinerary ahead of time and met our coordinator. FYI on top of booking fees, you're also required to use their bar service for ALL drinks alcohol/nonalcohol which is included info on Peerspace. We agreed we'd cover the required minimum of $2500 & once we reached that amount it would turn into a cash bar. Our guests approached us confused about the bar so my wife personally went to Jin & asked why people were being charged, to which he responded "I couldn't find you guys." They immediately include their tip, which we weren't aware of, so drinks totaled to about $2100 w/ the remainder being tax/tip. They continuously ran out of cups & had zero cups for the water dispensers. We were refilling used water bottles to give to the kids. My aunt & cousin were busing tables. Bartenders didn't care to stay quiet or hold drink orders during vows. Every video we have of our vows is them shaking drinks & slamming glassware. There were good things too, kinda. It wasn't communicated to us that the front bathroom was for staff only & we had a outfit change planned, so after first saying no, Jin ended up letting my wife & I use the front bathroom. Also him assisting our DJ resulted in the music going well. It's sadly overshadowed by all the other things that needed improvement. It comes down to a lack of customer service & professional decorum, because the venue itself is beautiful. We gave a final 3 STARS because everything came together. Those missing components are just so vital. A work day for them is literally someone else's most important day that they're choosing and paying to celebrate at Blush.

The place itself has a really cool vibe, kind of an old brick, industrial style that gives it character. We had a private outdoor room in the back, which was a great setup for a party. They also had games available, which added to the fun. For a Saturday night around 7:30-8:00 p.m., it wasn't overly crowded, There was plenty of parking, and most of the staff were welcoming, attentive, and quick with service. Drink prices were reasonable too,. The only downside, and honestly a big one for me, is the food situation. If you want food, You're required to order from the restaurant next door due to their contract (according to security at the door), and the prices are pretty steep. For example, $32 for 12 chicken wings with no sides just didn't sit right with me. We asked if we could bring in outside food (we were craving pizza), but security said no until the restaurant closes, which was too late for us. Because of that restriction, I probably wouldn't return. It's unfortunate, because the place itself has good vibes and a lot of potential. If they allowed more flexibility with food options, it would make a big difference.

10 1/4 is a hidden cocktail bar located underneath Freddie's 35er, a popular Dodgers bar. To get…read morehere, not only do you have to go to the back of The 35er and go down the stairs, you ignore the tiki bar in front of you and make an immediately right U-turn. You reach a phone booth, pick up the phone, and wait for someone to buzz you in. This bar is different from the other two bars as it's smaller, more intimate, and focused on craft cocktails. On nights and weekends though, it can still get busy. We ordered a variety of drinks and liked the menta milk punch ($18), last word ($18), and queen's park swizzle ($16). This was my first time here and I would be interested in coming back and also check out the tiki bar too. This is a cool place to go as part of your bar hopping in Old Town Pasadena.

When you enter the 35er, you take the stairs (closer to the back door) and there's a phone booth. Pick up the phone and the bartender will ask how many in your party before letting you in. The space is small. Some reviews mentioned tiki bar and this is not a tiki bar, it's a speakeasy. They have a cocktail menu and a full bar for well/cocktails. Great place for a small group.

It's just off one of the Main Street. I haven't spent anytime in this city so everything was all new to me. We found street parking right out front but did noticed when we got inside that they had a parking lot out back. The place isn't that big. A dive bar of sort but was quite nice. One side is the bar and counter while the other side host three pool tables. There's also a couple of hi top table in the middle. They did offer happy hour everyday from 4-8 pm with free pool. And free pool Tuesday Thursday and Sunday all day. Drinks specials offered as well. We only popped in for a drink which was glad to know that happy hour was happening. The bartender behind was sweet. It wasn't that busy when we walked in. Bartender and a couple people utilizing the pool table. It was pretty chill but I'm sure it can get busy later on in the evening. Drinks specials offered were quite nice for the price. We also tried their spicy margaritas which was great. Bartender knows his skills. Also, a quick round of pool. The vibe was mellow and chill. Don't know if the music changes often but it was somewhat metal that was going on when we walked in. Crowd was great as they were all there for the same reason. Drinks and pool. Overall, it was a cool place for a pint and pool. Somewhere people meet up for drinks.
