This bar in downtown El Monte. The space itself is really nice. They have a great patio that you can host parties at, which they allowed us to do without a fee, but unfortunately it rained so we took it indoor. Food is catered from outside vendor. They are great. One of my friends helped set up this event. The people themselves the bartender the waitress are very nice. We tipped them well during the event. The disappointing part is the management. We initially were told the drinks were seven dollars and then there was no fee, but somehow things are trying to get added onto our final bill and I had to argue a little bit. Unreasonable and absolutely unprofessional and for that reason, I probably will never book another event here again. It's unfortunate that their communication sucks.

This place is very active! The location is great and has accessible parking. Great place to watch a game or meet up with friends. The overall service was very slow and looked like they were short staffed when I went. I've never seen a line for the bar get soo long. On the bright side one of the sweet girls was kind enough to take our drink order at the table during the rush. On a slower night I'll be back to try the food & catch up with friends.

Yesterday i attended a birthday party at Progress on Main and overall, it was a pretty good brewery . The place itself has a really cool vibe, kind of an old brick, industrial style that gives it character. We had a private outdoor room in the back, which was a great setup for a party. They also had games available, which added to the fun. For a Saturday night around 7:30-8:00 p.m., it wasn't overly crowded, There was plenty of parking, and most of the staff were welcoming, attentive, and quick with service. Drink prices were reasonable too,. The only downside, and honestly a big one for me, is the food situation. If you want food, You're required to order from the restaurant next door due to their contract (according to security at the door), and the prices are pretty steep. For example, $32 for 12 chicken wings with no sides just didn't sit right with me. We asked if we could bring in outside food (we were craving pizza), but security said no until the restaurant closes, which was too late for us. Because of that restriction, I probably wouldn't return. It's unfortunate, because the place itself has good vibes and a lot of potential. If they allowed more flexibility with food options, it would make a big difference.

Michelle was fantastic! She was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. She made sure everything was taken care of and always had a positive attitude. Great bartender/server who helped make the experience enjoyable. Thank you, Michelle!

What's up: Here to celebrate a coworker. I've been here once before but didn't get to explore since it was busy. This time around, we got to experience more things. Parking: Parking is available up front as well as in the rear parking lot. It's shared with the nearby businesses but we didn't have any issues finding parking. Environment: The place was busy when we arrived. The bar/order counter is located to the right of the entrance. There are plenty of high tables spread throughout the place. To the back, they have the restrooms on the right and to the left, there's the entrance to the rear patio area. They have several entertainment choices that include pool table, virtual golf, and roller ball (which is like mini bowling). You can also change up the music with the jukebox. What was ordered: - Old Fashioned Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Overall, this was a pretty fun place to hang out and grab a drink. It's spacious and has a comfortable vibe. Plus, parking is easy. Credit cards are accepted.

Came for a celebration on a Friday night. I ordered a Mother Earth Pilsner and they didn't have it. Ordered the beachwood hef and the don't have it, then ordered the Oktoberfest....they also didn't have it. Ended up ordering the Kolsch and the blood orange... why have digital menu displays and not update them ... The bartenders told me to check the taps to see what beers they actually have.

Came in Sunday before President's Day. Website says they close at 10pm. Got there around 730ish. Place was decently filled for a holiday weekend. Music was a vibe. We put in an order for drinks & food right away. Got a spicy ranch water and coronaita; both were well made and refreshing. Also ordered the asada fries and al pastor taco grandes. Fries were decent - crispy and a solid amount of asada, enough for about 3 people. The real star was the al pastor tacos. They were drool worthy. I would go back just for these. Around 8pm one of the waiters came around for final call for food & drinks. We were surprised since it says they were opened until 10. He kinda mumbled something about maybe it's just final call for food and that he'd double check, but that they were definitely closing early. We noticing they close the main door around that time too. A couple of girls walk up and the staff begrudgingly unlocked the door and let them in. Then they start turning off the tv screens. All fine actions if it was actually their closing time. Anyways around 8:30pm the waiter comes by again and confirms they are closing at 9 and if we'd like another around. We order the same drinks to make it easy. Big mistake unfortunately. Second round was bad, felt like they were rushed out. I didn't even finish half of mine by the time we left. I asked for the check and during that interaction the bartender asked about our drinks. I was honest and felt horrible when it turned out that he was the one that made them. Whoops. He was sweet, explained it got busy and ended up comping the second batch. He offered to remake them but we declined as they were closing early. It would have been a good visit if it hadn't felt like we were being rushed out before we were actually were supposed to. But I get it, when you want to go home you wanna go home. Unfortunately for us though, cause we would have definitely picked another spot in that case. Might go back to give it one more chance.

My partner enjoyed the New England IPA and said it was good! Service was excellent. The bartenders there were all kind and friendly. There is plenty of seating inside the food hall and the bar section is a dedicated 21+ section so there is some dedicated bar seating. One side is the bar and counter while the other side host three pool tables. There's also a couple of hi top table in the middle. They did offer happy hour everyday from 4-8 pm with free pool. And free pool Tuesday Thursday and Sunday all day. Drinks specials offered as well. We only popped in for a drink which was glad to know that happy hour was happening. The bartender behind was sweet. It wasn't that busy when we walked in. Bartender and a couple people utilizing the pool table. It was pretty chill but I'm sure it can get busy later on in the evening. Drinks specials offered were quite nice for the price. We also tried their spicy margaritas which was great. Bartender knows his skills. Also, a quick round of pool. The vibe was mellow and chill. Don't know if the music changes often but it was somewhat metal that was going on when we walked in. Crowd was great as they were all there for the same reason. Drinks and pool. Because the wait time was too long for that, we decided to try The Dive Oyster Bar -- and man are we sure glad we did. We got a total of five items: a bowl of clam chowder, the soft shell crab appetizer, the roasta, the traditional pan roast with the house speciality protein (with the crab on the side because of my dad's crab allergy), and the jambalaya, which for the last three we ate with medium heat. We shared everything (except for the crab appetizer because, again, crab allergy for dad) and found the food to be delicious, with each entree coming out tasting better than the last. Personally, the roasta was my favorite with the pan roast as a close second. Very flavorful dishes with medium heat being a good level for us (wasn't spicy for our Korean palates). Service was great, our server (unfortunately forgot his name) was attentive and quick with our requests, and although he forgot a side of rice, it was for the best as the food had settled in our stomachs by then and we were content with what we ordered. The restaurant itself is well maintained with ample table space and appropriate lighting, though the music from the evening DJ was a tad bit too loud to hear from across the table. Not a big mood killer for us, though mostly because the good was that good. We're not from this area, so the odds of coming here again are relatively slim -- but should the opportunity present itself, it'll be more than fate this time to take us through these doors once again.
