Came in on a Monday afternoon. Yes there is a strong cigarette smell. But other than that, you are greeted by a very friendly bartender. It's very quiet and lonely. No music is playing. But just a number of tvs playing sports. I did not mind this bar. If you're looking for a chill quiet bar where everyone knows each other, then come in and get a cocktail. Only because that girl Steph as very rude to my boyfriend. And she was using well tequila to make Paloma's. Natalie was way more informative as to what kind of tequila I wanted for my Paloma. Steph charged me $10 for all the Paloma's. Yet told my boyfriend it was 6$ for well tequila Paloma's, and 10$ for Don Julio 70 . When my boyfriend corrected her she fixed it but still charged $10 for all Paloma's. My boyfriend was never once rude to her. Secret hidden gem! Love this place. Hard to find but Andrew with his beautiful clean cut eyebrows and vivid smile from ear to ear answered the phone and directed "in person" to where the bar was. This bar is a dive! I had one drink and was out of there. It's small, smells, and only worthwhile to watch a sporting event. If you're looking to have a good time in Arcadia, look elsewhere. There's some other cool spots locally, where the atmosphere is better and where women hang out. There's no sign in the front, which is on Baldwin. You have to go through the alley to enter. Love this place, decent sized dive bar, definitely dive though, don't expect anything else. They have good prices, and all the bartenders are really cool. The regulars, there's a lot of them, are nice and funny for the most part, there is a really strong vibe of comradery. Lotta pats on the back and laughs, very little drama (some, I mean it's a dive bar for crying out loud). I mostly go on NFL Game days, huge shout out to Courtney who is the right kind or personable, fast to get all their drink, and hilarious. They usually have food on games days as well which is just an awesome gesture by the staff and ownership. My friend and i came here on Christmas Day and i was so glad they were open. Andrew is our bartender and he was very attentive to all our orders. He made every drink we ordered and they were actually very satisfying. The portions were all right and they tasted exactly as how they should. Food choices were limited to chips but there is a satisfying amount of entertainment from dart boards, a jukebox and a pool table. The patrons that come here are pretty mellow and not like the crazy loud obnoxious crowds that I run into at some bars. You can go for a smoke in the back where there are tables, chairs and ashtrays to use. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Lots of parking in the back through Wells Fargo Bank. read more

There's a pool table, which def needs some repairs as well as the cues, but it's still fun to play while you're there. There's also a digital jukebox and darts. The bar is well maintained and clean. Did I mention that? Clean. What more could you ask for from a dive bar? The Station carries the simple pleasures in life. Like, carrying a wall of assorted bagged munchies mounted behind the bar. Who doesn't want to see a wall full of snacks after a few generous pours? They carry pretzels, nuts, a variety of chips, & even pork rinds. If you're still feeling hungry, there's a Chinese restaurant (Shawn Cafe open til 11:30 pm) right next door. I love dive bars. And stations is once of them. A couple years ago station was our regular bar for a year of two where we would frequent it at least once a month. I came back recently and nothing much had changed. The place is a dive. With heavy hands, cheap drinks, bar games and good people. There are 2 dart boards near the entrance, a pull table in the back and a cool little electronic juke box that literally has every song you can think of. I even put baby shark and it came up. The juke box is better then Google. There's an outdoor back patio area and parking in the back. I've even ordered papa John's before and brought it in. There's a late night cafe next door for after the bar. Overall station is once if my favorite dive bars in the area. Come to have fun and drink with good drama free people. read more

When I walked in, I felt like I was in another part of the country. What an awesome dive bar with pool table, dart boards, a touch screen game machine (yes I got stuck playing some dumb games on this). A full bar and pretty fun crowd. A little nondescript place that is very easy to overlook. Little wooden swinging saloon doors greet you at the entrance. But parking in the lot behind the shops and entering through the back is probably an easier solution. My girlfriend decided she needed a couple quick cocktails after the horse races and before we went back home to BBQ. A bit empty on a late Saturday afternoon. The bartender was friendly and kinda cute, and gladly put the hockey game on for me. And the other patrons were friendly and engaged in a bit of hockey discussion. I decided after being good and having only beer at the track, it was time for vodka. the cocktails were decently priced at 3 bucks and had just the right amount of alcohol. Not too strong, not too weak. I slammed down those puppies down having no idea that that lead to me diving off a porch leaving me injured and bruised. They said I looked like Superman jumping off. *sigh* Oh, but I digress... There are six TVs. There is a pool table. There is an internet juke box. I actually had a nice time for the short time we were there. A nice little place to relax with friendly people and vodka and sporting events. Stopped for a quick beer on the way home from the Santa Anita Mall to carb up for the Santa Anita 5K tomorrow :P Always good - cheap, strong drinks, great atmosphere including live music (and a jukebox), a pool table, darts, video games, tvs, friendly bartenders and staff, typical bar snacks, an outdoor patio (small though). Your usual bar menu with anything under the sun that you can name. Plenty of beers to choose from. I'm glad that The Station has survived here for years with the nearby tenants coming and going. I still miss Casa Del Rey when it was next door - made it convenient to get some mexican grub and a beer after at the station...I guess now I need to go here after I pick up produce at Sierra Produce (please never go away either) a few doors down or maybe after a late night meal from the next door tasty garden. I visited The Station last night while celebrating my best friends belated birthday and boy was it fun. We had started off at the rooftop lounge at Dave and Busters and when it closed at 12 am we still wanted to keep the party going and stumbled across this place. When we arrived the vibes were chill and the bartenders were so down to earth. I know one was Nat and I didn't catch the name of the other one. Both of them were awesome and definitely took our experience to another level. You can imagine that they have a million and one things to do with a crowd at a bar but they still managed to chit chat with us, check on us frequently and more importantly, talk to us like they've known us for forever. Drinks are strong and cheap. Expect somewhere around $6 for a large glass. No hipster mixologist creations here, but popular well drinks are available. I've had gin and sprite, Long Island, and it was either a Sex on the Beach or Cosmopolitan, I can't quite remember. They tasted alright. The dive bar scene is strong here. It's not really my thing, but I thought it was an interesting find in sleepy Arcadia. The venue is actually really small with a pool table and some small circular high tables that seat 2-3 people at the back away from the bar. Strangers will overhear EVERYTHING you say, so be careful of what you wish to divulge lol. Another downside is that there is no food. If you get the munchies, there are individual snack sized bags of Lay's potato chips. My friend and I hopped over to Shawn Cafe next door after. This place is small, casual and fun if you make the most out of it. There is a few tv sets, darts, a juke box and a pool table to entertain you. Seating is very limited but this place doesnt get too packed, at least not the last few times we've been. Drinks are amazingly affordable. I paid $4.50 for a blue moon this last time we went. The fact that its cheap makes it easy for others to buy you drinks too and vice versa. This bar i totally a laid back, good vibe, hang out spot.
