Pros: decent service and prices. Cons: this place appears to be owned or run by biker gangs. I was threatened by an old British or Australian looking biker criminal who told me this is his bar since 1991 and I'm not welcome here. That's all I need to know. We came here before and I saw the same old bearded criminal looking person snap at other customers, he seems to be very interested in keeping non-whites out of this place. Sad Pasadena still has places like this. Never coming back here. I thought the bartenders were gonna ask him to leave but it seems they took his side in his outburst against customers. Cool dive bar with a nice quiet vibe. The interior is much bigger than I thought and has a room with a pool table. They offer a variety of beers on tap which is my preference. No credit cards accepted so they only take cash and there's an atm inside. They also sell Lottery tickets but the machine was broken down when I requested to buy some. read more

Awesome little bar on the east end of Pasadena near Big 5. Came on a Wednesday night and was served by one of the coolest bartenders I've come across - Randy, who works Sundays and Wednesdays. Very chill local bar (everyone on this evening seemed like regulars) with a couple of pool tables and all the low-end to medium hard liquor offerings you can think of. The best thing about this place is Tommy Johnson. I met him here at our place and he makes up for some of the crappy things about this place. I like the people who go here and I would love to give it five stars but I had a very negative experience with Adam. He was so condescending to my friend and said out loud IN FRONT OF EVERYONE at the bar : "We only take *adult* money here, go home and break open your piggy bank if you need quarters!" WTF???!!!! How snobby / rude / unprofessional / condescending/ unwelcoming / and mean. When I went up to Adam to ask if this ridiculous statement was true Adam said "yes I do not accept anything less than quarters." To which I stated : "snobby snobby snobby it's not like this is the Ritz Carlton" I don't think Adam liked what I said very much. As I'm sure he will not like this review but -hey buddy the truth hurts. Thanks for being nice to me today but it's important to me that you're nice to EVERYONE especially friends that I invite to your bar who are willing to spend money there. One evening while riding my motorcycle I passed by this sweet stretched red bike. Having never seen such a beast in person I had to stop in and find out who's it was. Upon entering the place was greeted by a very welcoming atmosphere. Few older gents playing pool, a couple at the bar and the dude with the bike who said oh I see you ride too. :-) Close friends ever since. Amazing how a bike brings guys together lol. Have since met an old high-school friend whom I hadn't seen in like 10 years. So place is good for bringing people together. Cat the bartender is cool and makes pretty strong drink. I'd give zero stars if I could. The older white blonde lady barternder "Janice" she claims her name is... is very rude and is quick to snap at you. I inquired about why my jukebox plays got quieted/silenced by the tv twice and she claimed she didn't know when I know for a fact from working a at a bar with a jukebox that the bartender controls the jukebox. I lost severaL credits not knowing the bartender turned down the jukebox and turned on The tv when she wanted. When she didn't like my inquiries, she told mE to leave and summoned the "bouncer" who had been sitting at the bar chatting with her and friends the whole night to kick me out. The only reason they could give to kick me out is because they asked me. The bartender then proceeded to vent about how she had to pick up a shift and she was tired.. And on top of that, in front of the "bouncer" the Bartender was being rude as heck the whole time and when I said ""do you see how she is treating me" the "bouncer" walked over and said something to the bartender, he then came back over and said I need to leave. I said "and then?" And he tried too say that that was a treat and was I threatening him. He seemed to not care about what was really happening and said just to leave a bad yelp review and shrugged his shoulders. This whole bar NOW is a joke. I used too come here with my mom as a kid and see her friends. Now it's trying to be bougee but honestly seems trashy. Dive bar. Cheap drinks. Smoking indoors. Cool bartender. Pool table. Darts. Juke box. Camera in the back parking lot. I don't care if people smoke. Not even a little bit. I just hate indoor smoking. It makes my hair and clothes smell bad. I can wash my clothes with ease but washing my hair is an event. It takes 1.5 - 3hrs to wash and twist. My Dad used to come here all the time way back in the days. (There are still some pictures of him on the wall.) He passed away recently, so I decided to stop by and check it out. It's a nice little spot. You can play pool play music on the jukebox and hang out, have a drink and some good conversation. The bartender Tawny was fantastically nice to me, and listened to my story.
