A local dive with pool tables like many others in this area, also like many others they only serve beer and wine. Good thing was the cute bartenders were all in bikinis and they have TouchTunes to play our favorite songs. Place was almost empty when we came in on a Saturday late afternoon. Most other customers were regulars I think. The beer selections were not big so I just had a Modelo Michelada which was one of the best. We stayed for a short while playing all of our favorite songs on jukebox, later on more people were coming in I guess this place gets busy in the evenings and late night. There were two very cute female bartenders at the moment, both of them were very attentive and friendly. Prices seem to be pretty reasonable have a nice selection of drinks and the soju bombs are cool never even thought about mixing them. They have 3 pool tables on site and juke box. I went a couple months ago and finally decided to write a review. I went on a rainy Friday night. It's very dimly lit & the place was not too crowded, but not empty either. It was a nice balance. I was the only girl in the bar, but I kind of expected that. There were 3 girls working. I don't remember her name, but I had an Asian girl helping me. She was so sweet and kind. The free shot was half apple juice & alcohol. I don't mind too much because it's still free & im light weight. I got a Mikes after because they only have wine coolers and beer. They have pool tables so we played a game. There is also darts which is a lot of fun when you're buzzed. The girls bathroom looked pretty dirty but the toilet looked clean, so I guess it wasn't too bad. Overall, the sweet girl that helped us really gave this place a 4 star. My friends and I came here for the the first time. By the name and "lips" on the sign, this place seemed like a strip joint. It's actually a decent bikini bar. The place has flat screens to watch sports, etc. Loud music is played here, and there are machines/electronics to play games on. There's also a lounge area off to one side. My friends and I got soju shots ($3 each) which can be mixed with redbull, cranberry, or something else (I forgot). We drank a few pitchers of beer and played pool. Throughout the night, more of my friends showed up. They had a slight problem with parking since front parking doesn't have much space. There's more parking in the back of the building. According to one of my friends, this place looked like a gangster joint. It's typically a cockfest here... So tonight my wife and I came out to check out Sugar Bar in Garden Grove. The only complaint I have is that we didnt come here sooner!! Prices are very reasonable and low for awesome beer! The bartenders are super friendly and all 3 working on a sunday night greeted us and hung out with us all night! Big shoutout to the Bartenders Sam and Jordan for being super awesome and ensuring we had the best experience we could here. The manager Mike made us feel like were at home and never distrcriminated! Theres 3 pool tables and they charge less than billiards do per hour! Cant be beat! My wife loved it because all the patrons here were super respectful and friendly.
