This a great spot to catch a ball game on tv and get some good drinks at a very reasonable price. Although the prices are comparable to a dive bar, this place is far from a dive bar. Ruby's has two newly felt pool tables, an immaculate shuffle board table, a new electric darts machine, and other games such as giant jenga and ring toss on top of ten plus TVs playing all live sports. The service the bartenders provide has been above par, however one has stood out above others. Tina is an extremely easy on the eye with a friendly and welcoming attitude, on top of that makes an outstanding michelada! Although she stopped working on Sundays, I find myself coming in week days during my lunch breaks to get a glimpse of her beauty and get her tasty micheladas. The only knock I would give this place is that there's no food on premise, however they don't frown upon one bring in food from outside. Which is a blessing since there's two dinners and a Mongolian bbq spot all within the 500 feet. read more

I'll make this brief, because I'm sure everything has already been said by others. The bathroom needs work. There's a wheelchair sign on itvbut the door needs to open outward. I opened it inward and couldn't get my wheelchair in. I had tonopen it outward and it barely opened up enough for me to get in and out. I was afraid of breaking the door off. We were celebrating life and had a complicated "Spin the Wheel" game with different drinks for a party of 6 and she was beyond patient and encouraging for a busy Saturday night. Horrible customer service!! I gave them my card and they lost it and proceeded to blame me and made no attempt to look for it. When I called to check again the next day they refused to look for it, accusing me again. My time as a regular at Rubys was brief, but I will have memories of that place that will last a lifetime. NFL Sundays with the pulled pork sandwiches! Great TVs! This bar is amazing. It used to be a run down place years ago when I was younger but since the new owner Cherie has bought it she has turned it into one of the prettiest cleanest bars I've ever seen. There are 10 TV's, diamond pool tables that are kept up really well, a shuffleboard table and a huge outside patio. It's a great location for a party. There's lots of parking. The bartenders are really great, the price of drinks is really reasonable and the owner Cherie makes every customer feel like a regular. I love coming here whether it's for Sunday football or karaoke on Wednesday nights or for weekend fun. read more

Owner pours out my beer at 1:50 and kicks everyone out saying "you're done" ruining our night after I asked for my money back he refused and pushed me out of the door. Went here wiff my neighbor who own the restaurant by my house...we went here. Close by. Was packed . Half of the people we're karaoking it up. Some serious looking old men.. I visited this bar for the first time Wednesday night January 20,2021. The place is very clean with nice decor. The bartender, who I think was the owner, could not have been more nice and obsessed with customer service. Outdoor area for Christmas laying pool or cornhole complete with heat lamps was very nice. So my date and I are itching for some post dinner drinks and we have no clue where to go. It's Westminster on a Thursday night. He's from Long Beach, me? I'm from Anaheim. Yelp to the rescue! I Yelped 'cocktails' and Ruby's popped up. This felt like a 'Cheers' type of place. Everyone seemed to know each other! There's a popcorn machine here too! This place is definitely a dive bar, but gee, it's clean and updated. The bathroom was pretty and well kept. There's a modern type juke box that was cranking out tons of hits from all different genres. The actual drinks? Pretty solidly poured. We had a couple of whiskey gingers, and while my gallant date paid for the drinks, I think they were reasonably priced as well. The bartender (a very welcoming woman! I wish I caught her name. She has long dark hair and brown eyes) was so warm and attentive for being by herself! While this is not my type of scene, I can't help but look back on this experience fondly. My husband and myself cannot speak any more highly of this bar. Before moving into our new home (which is only a stagger away), we came in for a celebratory drink after being approved and were greeted warmly with smiles from the bartender, Angela. Immediately after entering, she offered us her weekly taco Tuesday which was compromised of delicious home cooked tacos, rice, beans, and homemade salsa (yum). Between the trips back and forth to the taco station, we were accompanied by engaging conversation and laughs. We were hooked on this bar and were excited to sign our lease down the street to make Angela's Taco Tuesday and company a mid week ritual. Exactly a week later after getting the keys to our apartment we decided to make a pit stop to say hi to Angela for yet another drink and those delicious tacos... Upon arriving, we we're both greeted by name with hugs. This is our 6th Tuesday enjoying Angela's company, this is more than a bar... this is our home away from home. read more
