    Burrito.

Ate here in Covina and it had a great menu. The taquitos were good but the burrito was not the greatest. Seams like they used yesterday's asada. Service was first poor and then they had a shift change and it continued to be bad. Asked for ice tea and it took forever. Meal was done before 1st refill. She asked if wanted lemon and we said no, then she brought extra lemons. Kinda funny. Had to ask for extra plates and silverware 2xs. Don't think I would be back

The food was great and the staff was super friendly. The place has a club sort of feel. It is family friendly. They have a kids menu with tacos, chicken strips burgers. The staples kids like. A big drink menu.

Beer is nice and cold, fish tacos are delicious, spicy sauce available../ ambiance is great, Arturo, Geo and B the bartender are great. They're on top of everything, great customer service, they have taco Tuesday specials, they have lotería nights, karaoke nights and a Banda night, I love the music they rock and they have the games too. Oh don't forget about happy hour.

Best service I've had sitting at a bar in a while. Alexis was so attentive! Ok with our questions about drinks and food. Wasn't frustrated when we asked a few more he he. The manager Geo went above and beyond as well! He made himself visible during busy happy hour time, and asked how we were doing, that's going the extra mile! My husband and I will definitely be back. Great Carne Asada and beer!

Nice big parking lot around the area, and when we came around 9:30 AM there were still a few prime spots right in front--always a good start! Right away, the vibe was giving outdoor patio but with cozy indoor energy. Super clean inside and out, and the staff was really friendly. Our waitress this morning--her name was "B"--was the sweetest. Super kind, always checking in on us and making sure we were good. If you're like me and super indecisive, I usually stalk the menu the night before. But this menu was HUGE--pages and pages. I flipped straight to the brunch section in the back (three full pages!) and landed on the Supreme Skillet: potatoes, over-easy eggs, bell peppers, ham, and sausage. It came with three tortillas of your choice--I picked corn. Taste-wise, it was good, but I wish there were bigger and more pieces of meat. Compared to other skillets I've had, this one was a little light on the protein. It was $17.99. I'd rate it a 6.5/10, but with the refried beans on the side, it bumped up to a 6.9/10. My bestie ordered the Combo Benedict with French toast sticks, and honestly...the French toast sticks were the star. Super crispy, fluffy inside, and perfect with syrup. We also got the mimosa flight--mango, strawberry, and peach. All were tasty, super cute, and very Instagram-worthy. I can totally see this place popping at night with music and drinks. That said, even in the morning with only one other couple next to us, the music was pretty loud--it was kinda hard to talk during our brunch, literally had to look at besties lips to know what she's saying. I can't even imagine nighttime volume, lol. Overall: Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 3.5/5 Definitely a fun spot to try, especially if it's your first time! But def plenty better brunch food out there! Happy eats!

OLA Restobar...Where the server hustles harder than the DJ! Came in after partaking in the Christmas parade with my husband, still buzzing from the floats and ready for food and drinks. The place had the perfect post-parade vibe: not packed, super chill, and the DJ was on a wild (but awesome) journey. He played old-school reggaeton, hip-hop, 80s throwbacks, banda, corridos... basically a musical piñata. Then there was Arturo (pretty sure that's what the name tag said). This man is a national treasure and an absolute MENACE (in the best way possible). I barely grazed the drink menu twice and POOF!! He materialized like a cocktail genie asking if I needed another round. His radar for empty glasses should be studied by NASA. I watched him zoom around the room subtly pointing at people's drinks like, "Hey! Your glass is looking a little lonely." He even stopped to help two girlfriends who were either attempting to take selfies, or simply asked him, or he could have offered. Dude's energy and permanent smile could power the whole block. Funniest, fastest, friendliest service we've ever had. Arturo, if you're reading this, (or your boss) you need to be given a raise, a cape, or both. Now, foodwise: Drinks? On point. Carajillo and Aperol Spritz were perfect. Food? Delicious. Queso fundido with shrimp disappeared in record time. My enchiladas de camarón were fantastic, and husband demolished the aguachile divorciados. Only tiny nitpick: the sauce on my enchiladas tasted too much like oregano to me. Everything else? Wonderful.

I have been coming here for a little over a year. My friend and I like to come here to grab some food before we enjoy some nightlife in Covina. I always get the tour of the sea shrimp taco plate. It's $18 for four tacos. The tacos are good but I come back for the vibe. It's a good place to start the night. The music is ok but no one is ever on the dance floor. So we usually just eat then leave. They do have an extensive drink list. I gave tried the espresso martini and the lychee martini but I wouldn't recommend either one at all. The beer is ice cold and the service is somewhat slow but not terrible. Very polite and respectful, but I waited 20 minutes for the check to come last night. We can move a little better than that. A good place to start the night or watch a game. I would recommend coming in a Sunday at brunch time.

Thanks to Erica at the bar I had suck a great time! A lot of TVs, Sound and music is good. And even though I wanted a regular consume (I should have read the menu) this shrimp and fish soup had great flavor plus on lunch it came with a Margarita. My friend had the taco plate and it was a lunch special with a Beer. I definitely will be returning to the place especially if Erica is working at the Bar or floor!

OLA is located off Citrus Ave and parking is available all over but can be challenging during prime time hours. I appreciate that there's indoor and outdoor seating. There's plenty of seating and they offer TV for entertainment. It's suitable for all crowds. The music is a bit too loud for my preference. Customer service was accommodating. She made her recs which I appreciated. Portions are plenty and food had a ton of flavor.

    Aguachiles Divorciados

Came out on an early Saturday night. We just wanted to try out some aguachiles but experienced more than that. Music was loud, I would recommend some hearing protection for anyone. Please take care of your ears. Ample space for dancing and drinking. Our server was fine. The octopus was a bit chewy, the flavor of our dishes were good. We just wouldn't pay for the price again. Plenty of parking spots nearby.

Tried Ola recently and really enjoyed it. The Mexican food was flavorful, fresh, and the portions were solid. The atmosphere was great, the music was actually good without being too loud, and the whole place had a fun vibe. Staff was friendly and everything came out pretty quick. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend if you're looking for good Mexican food with a good atmosphere.

Such a fun place for date night. And it won't break the bank either. We ordered so much food for just us two, and we had so many leftovers. They price their food reasonably, but the quality of their seafood is superb. Everything is fresh. Portions are generous. And the servers are kind and attentive. It's definitely a neighborhood gem.

Came here after a softball game and ordered Nachos, tacos, taquitos and drinks. Service was slow but they were nice. Vibe is for sure a sports bar. It was way too loud, however we enjoyed watching all the football games. Not a bad stop but also not my first choice.

You seat yourself, we chose a spacious seating section to the right. There's a bathroom right here so that's convenient. Unfortunately, the start of the experience wasn't great. A nice person came to take our drink order said she would be right back. Between now and then it's been 20 minutes, and 4 different staff/servers have stopped by our table to ask us if we need anything. In which we've been replying yes we would like to order. Each one of them responds the same way, ill notify your server. I don't really blame the girl though, they're pretty short staff. She's all over the place, she probably just forgot about it or didn't realize how much time was passing by. I mean, what can she do at the end of the day. It would've been nice if one of the other four people would've taken our order though. They're not just helping out as the customers, but they're also helping out there staff as well. I got to the point where we were debating about leaving, but we had already ordered our drinks. Aside from that the vibe is pretty cool. I really enjoy the music they have been playing. They also have a live band. It's good for parties and groups. The staff is friendly, they're nice The drinks and the food are very good. Unfortunately, the wings were not very hot when they came out. We both think the wings were probably done first, and just sitting there for a little while while the rest of the food was being made. Because we were able to very easily pick up our wings and eat them no problem. They were barely warm. I'm not sure if I would be back again just because they seem so short staffed and they don't seem like they communicate very well with each other. But I did enjoy the overall experience.

There's a good selection of beers on-tap and in bottle, and of course you can get shots and simple cocktails, but they didn't have the ingredients to make an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. No food is served, but they do sell bags of Twisted Pig pretzels ($4), which are available in spicy, medium, and original flavors. They're some of the best bagged pretzels we've ever had. As I pulled up to the parking lot, I noticed they had an outdoor seating area, which is really nice on hot days. It looked like a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink in the evening. When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.

It was crispy enough to keep you wanting more. The flavor wasn't too fishy and it was accompanied by some tasty dipping sauces. Would definitely order again. Molcajete: 4/5 A favorite at our table that was filled with so many protein options and a nice salsa to pair with. We loved the chicken, chorizo, and the queso!! The only reason it got a 4/5 was because the steak was waaaay too salty which made it hard to enjoy. The shrimp was a nice touch, also not too fishy and the bacon paired nicely. You can definitely taste a variety of flavors and it's also a big enough portion to share! Comes with beans and rice which we ended up splitting with our kiddos. Jamaica: 5/5 We loved the Jamaica here and it tastes very traditional. It doesn't taste like it's made from powder and comes in a huge glass cup. Not too sweet and the bold flavor of the hibiscus makes it hard to stop drinking! Loved it. Overall, a great place to dine in for celebrations or just for a nice dinner. Would definitely recommend if you're nearby. I hope to come back soon.

Amazing…read morebeers, delicious food, a cool hybrid restaurant setup, attentive staff with cool uniforms. The place was the sh*t. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House
