Temple Time (Happy Hour) Menu - 5/2026
    Angela C.

Came here with my hubby for happy hour. They offer happy hour deals Wed - Sat, 3 pm -7 pm. It was pretty empty when we arrived, and they had a great playlist of old school hip hop playing. There was a DJ who was starting to set up for the evening. Apparently it turns into a club at night - as evidenced by all the flyers plastered on the walls and windows through out the restaurant. You must be 21+ to enter after 8 pm. Not sure what kind of music the DJ plays, but it's cool to know that there's a club nearby if I am ever feeling like I want to go dancing. The bartender was super nice and had a great sense of humor. We ordered quite a few items off the happy hour menu to try. The drinks and food were all good, standard bar quality. There's more on the regular menu, with American food and even Asian fusion food like spicy ramen pork tamales and flaming hot Cheetos rolls. Most of the menu leans towards Mexican style food. I'm sure the vibe is different later in the evening but for a decent happy hour with no wait, this is a solid spot.

A lot can change in three years... I came here this past weekend with a friend. She called 5 times (before 7pm) because we wanted to know their entertainment options for that night (DJ, lotería, live band, etc). Their website was down via Safari and via Yelp. Wasn't able to get through via phone. We pull up anyways and the normal front entrance is closed. You have to enter AND exit through the side door. We go inside and we assume it's open seating. Flashing lights, open tables (not too crowded around 8pm/9pm. So we take a seat and the server comes. What threw me off guard is when we ordered our first round of drinks they charged us right then and there and explained that "tonight is pay as you go". While at the table, we get our drinks, pay, and take in the ambiance. The drinks were good they weren't bad. However, the music was TOO loud. Me and my friend just looked at each other the entire time and smile and nodded because there was no way a conversation was able to happen. BUT the music selection was 11/10. Dance floor was full and people were getting down! DJ was killing it so the music being loud is NOT a problem, it's just something to be aware of if you come here on a Friday night (entertainment varies). Bathrooms were clean, servers table touched very often. The server did let us know that they were changing for bottled water. $4 for bottled water. The servers were nice enough to give ME a complimentary cup of water...but nothing for my friend. Which I thought was weird. But okay...I don't want the servers getting in trouble for something minor like this. What sent it ALL downhill was the food. My friend ordered the carne asada tacos and I ordered the birria tacos with potatoes on the side. My friend said her tacos were burnt. My tacos had a chemical/medicine taste (please don't ask why thats the best way to describe it). The potatoes were what was left sitting at the bottom of the pan/fryer because they were cold and drenched in oil. The food was so bad I couldn't even force myself to eat it. And that was my first real meal of the day. This place is not what it used to be.

We are Led Heads and when my friend heard that the tribute band Led Zep Headz were playing on a Sunday night we all jumped in the van and drove out here. The entrance to see the band was 10 bucks and they have many tables and chairs available if you don't want to stand. We bought three rounds of beers in a bucket. The band sounded great and we had a great time.

I had been wanting to drop by this place for awhile, so now I had a good reason when I saw an ad for the Cold Duck Band performing on a Saturday night. There was a cover charge of $10 as you entered. The hostess accepts payment in cash or credit card. She then escorted us to a table. We ordered beers from the Server. The employees came by frequency to check on us and food/drinks were served within 10 - 15 minutes. The restaurant/bar has a "Dia de los Muertos" theme with skull decor and lots of neon signs and lights. It's bright and a casual environment. The band had already started playing music of the 80s and 90s era and lots of people were dancing. It was a lively group and good vibe. A DJ kept the music going when the band took a break. MENU HIGHLIGHTS: Sunday Brunch $29.99 per person. -Tacos (Carne Asada, Chicken, Beef, Al Pasto, Birria). -Sandwiches (Crispy Chicken, Sirloin Sliders, Philly Cheesesteak). -Seafood (Shrimp Cocktail, Tempura Shrimp Roll with Hot Cheetos, Agua Chile Shrimp Roll, Seafood Tostada). -- Sides: Chips, Salsa, Guacamole, Loaded Nachos or Fries, Beans, Fried Rice. The dining room has booths for about six people and individual tables that can be configured for two to ten guests. On the right-hand side of the room is the cocktail bar with bar stools for about 30 people. Sincerely, Rosemary

Mother's Day was wonderful at the Temple Bar. Everyone had a great time, myself included!! We enjoyed singing along with Abel's songs. He's a great entertainer & works the crowd extremely well. The service was very good. All waitresses were very friendly & attentive. The variety of food was excellent. Everything I tried was full so good & full of flavor. This was a very memorable experience for all of us. Thank you!! #TempleBar

    unprofessional business chat response

I've passed by here with friends a couple times. The vibes seem fun and I thought I'd request to see if they could book a LA DJ I really enjoyed to come play. I DM'd the business page on Instagram and got this rude response (seen in pic). The lack of professionalism makes me no longer feel welcome as a patron. Following on Instagram does not equate being a patron at an establishment. If they wanted to increase their following and brand media presence, this is not how PR should do so.

Friday is not the weekend... it's a weekday.

Came here with my fiance tonight (Friday) and we didn't get menus until 10 minutes later. Then we ordered margarita flights and shot flights once the drinks got to us it looked completely different from online and we asked the server if we got the correct order and she said yes our margarita flights came in plastic shot cups and we asked her why it didn't look like the ones online and she told us "we don't give margaritas in glass bottles on the weekends" but it's Friday and not considered the weekend yet. We tried our drinks and they tasted like legit buzzball served in plastic cups. Worst drinks we have ever tried. We asked for the check and left. Never coming to this place ever again worst experience ever. If that was your excuse of apologizing for your bad service then your in for a good one! Anyways Friday is considered a weekday and we should've been treated better. Horrible customer service and horrible management. Stay far away from this place.

Daniella was a wonderful server especially on Mother's Day. Had wonderful music and food as well.

Modelo Negro & Cab on the Happy Hour menu :)

For being in a food hall in Glendora, this was a pretty good bowl of bbh. It has rich umami broth though it could have stood for more vermicelli noodles. I was most surprised by the amount of beef tendon. In fact, I asked for a side of fish sauce to dip the tendon lol. On my second visit, I built my own phở bowl ($17.48). You get a choice of 3 meats, so I chose wagyu steak, wagyu eye round, and brisket. I thought the meat quality was great. The broth, on the other hand, was having an off night I think. It had a very strong star anise flavor and the broth could have use a little skimming. And Broth offers a variety of interesting phở variations that I'd like to try. I like that there are so many different Vietnamese dishes umbrella-ed under one establishment. I'll definitely be back.

Tian You Feng Dumpling House is a local neighborhood and family-owned Chinese eatery in West Covina…read morethat specializes in various dumplings. [Parking]: The dumpling house shares the same plaza parking lot as Tokyo Central in West Covina and our party had no issue finding an available parking spot. [Atmosphere]: A fairly standard no-frills Chinese restaurant setup with indoor tables only and our party was able to grab a table immediately at 7:30 PM on Saturday. [Menu]: Customers use a Sharpie to circle and place orders on a laminated menu. Yelp's top highlighted items are Beef Noodle Soup, Juicy Pork Dumplings, and Shrimp and Pork Wontons. The menu highlights recommended dishes with a thumbs-up icon and those dishes include #6 Braised Beef Noodle Soup, #14 Shrimp & Chicken Dumplings, #20 Shrimp & Pork Wontons in Chili Sauce, #21 Juicy Pork Dumplings (aka XLB), and #27 Pan-Fried Pork Buns. *** #6 Braised Beef Noodle Soup (mild - $14.99): S-tier broth and noodles. The noodles had soft texture and the broth was clear & flavorful. Spicy level was also just right. In addition, the broth did not taste particularly oily. The meat was good, but I prefer the beef tendon from some other SGV (San Gabriel Valley) beef noodle soup spots. #14 Shrimp & Chicken Dumpling (10 pieces - $12.99): Excellent chewy dough and I actually liked these dumplings more than the XLBs. I am also a fan of the garlic & oyster dipping sauce. S-tier dumplings. #21 Juicy Pork Dumpling (aka XLB 8 pieces - $13.49): Interesting broth with a slightly sweet and savory flavor. The dough was a bit thicker than I would have liked and the flavor was not as good as newer spots like Yum Long in Monterey Park, but still a solid A-tier dish. *** Overall a solid 4.5-star for the food (bonus points for the beef noodle soup and shrimp & chicken dumplings), bump up to 5-star for efficient service, easy parking, and no wait on weekends.

I decided to go with the bulgogi sandwich based on our waiter's recommendation and it was amazing! So flavorful and the bread was great too. Their salad dressing was tangy and sweet. The brioche toast with homemade jam and ricotta was also better than I was anticipating. The main star for me was the chicken karaage. The pieces were huge but still so juicy inside.. and the batter was light yet very crispy. Paired well with their house garlic aioli.
