Exquisite brewskies, darts and foosball are extremely entertaining, impeccable service!!

Casual place for a beer either alone or with friends. The experience was great yet again and Kyle at the bar was attentive. I love that The Republic carries an array of beers that from in and out of California. I saw Epic Brewing (Utah) and Great Divide (Colorado) on the overhead list. The Lagunitas Cherry ale was so good! I wish they carried that everywhere. Although they have about three dozen craft beers, they also have domestic beers if you'd like a safer choice.

Was looking for a place to grab a couple drinks after dinner with some buddies and we saw this spot. Looked kinda sketchy from the outside but went in anyways. Turned out to be a good idea. They have a good amount of craft brews on tap! Love that! They also have a couple a dart boards and a foosball table inside. Bartenders were really cool. Place isn't very big so as the night went on it got a little crowded. Only complain I have about this place is the restrooms. They were pretty bad and it's only a one person bathroom. They need to be more attentive about their restrooms for sure.

Great selection of beer. They had lots of breweries and brews that I don't see most other places, some beers I didn't even know come on draft. They have strong ones and light ones, easy drinkers and full of flavors. Lots of taps too, so there's bound to be something you like. Prices are better than some of the nearby stuckup beer places, pretty reasonable. The atmosphere is divey but it may have just been the day I was there. Not that that's a bad thing, I'm going back if only for that. Come as you are, no obligations, and enjoy. The clientele ranged all over the spectrum so it ended up as good people watching too. The jukebox is cool, just don't play an idiot song and ruin it for everyone. They have a bunch of electronic dartboards for fun and a bunch of TVs for sports. The bartenders are on top of things. It was medium-full and they still made sure my beer was never empty.

If on a tight budget, the Good Company (Covina) is a prime location for casual drinking or hangout. It's food is not bad, but you can taste its affordability. I arrived on Saturday (around 5:40PM). Customers walk to the counter and order. Staff (Omar) is friendly and hardworking. He's seen constantly moving and interacting with guests. My orders arrived quickly. The Cheeseburger Bun was ready in 5 minutes and 36 seconds. The Matcha Berry Affogato arrived at my table in 9 minutes and 20 seconds. The food's presentation is memorable. The Cheeseburger Bun ($6) includes wagyu ground beef, melted American cheese, thinly sliced pickle, and fried thin onion slivers. Eating it with the white bun reminded me of sloppy joe in a soft taco. This very wet, mushy meal is cheesy and oily. Still, it's filling and cheesy with a very affordable price-point. The Matcha Berry Affogato ($6) is a scoop of ice cream swimming in a lake of liquid matcha. The flavors are decent but not memorable. The ice cream was chill and not overly sweet. Unfortunately, the liquid matcha arrived almost lukewarm. It would have been much more refreshing if the entire dish came cold. The presentation is eye-catching, but it lacked any real taste. Still, it's a very affordable experience. Concerning ambiance, The Good Company (Covina) performs extremely well. The location is very clean and comfortable with upbeat & fun music. There's also one flatscreen tv in the corner with closed captioning english subtitles. The location is well-ventilated, and the furniture all look very new and well-maintained. Even though the location is small, the colors and decor make it feel spacious and comfortable. Overall, The Good Company (Covina) is a good, budget hangout location. The food has an attractive appearance but its taste is unfortunately comparable to premium fast food. If heading there, bring good company and you'll definitely have a good time. 4 out of 5

He loved the burger and tots and said the mac n cheese was alright. I ordered the Cesar salad wrap with tots and I thought it was great! My only complaint was the chicken portion to salad was a little slim but, the crispy tots made up for it. The star of the show was the bread pudding! I'm not a huge fan of soggy bread but, this one was perfect. It had candied walnuts, caramel, vanilla ice cream and apples. Probably some of the best bread pudding I've had. Since we were starving, I didn't get food pics but, I would absolutely recommend dining here for a good time and good food.

About 4 TVs and they had different sporting events showing Service- this is where it started to go south. Your front of the house and those few minutes that a new customer has is crucial. Not very friendly and not really acknowledging the people that were standing waiting to be seated. Finally got a table, gave us menus and then 15 minutes go by and they haven't taken our order for drinks. As I look around there were 4 tables that had been seated, as well and no drink orders. We all waited about the same amount of time to get our drink orders. This unfortunately is why i took off 2 stars. To me, this unacceptable. After being seated and food came out, no one checked in until I needed a box and to pay. Did not feel welcomed and /or appreciated that I was supporting a small local business. Food- Brisket without the BBQ didn't have enough flavor. These types of meat don't need a hype man- the BBQ sauce. They need to be good on their own. Buuut Meat was tender. I read that their sausage is not great it's quite dry so I skipped it, my son had ordered ribs so I was going to steal from him, so I decided to get chicken- dark meat options. Chicken was very tasty, juicy and tender. It was the star of the dinner plate!!! Whaat!!! Their coleslaw- loved how everything was chopped nice and consistent- loved the Julienned green apples- again missing seasoning. DINNER ROLLS- Soooo fucken dry and not warmed up. I expect that level of hardness on my rolls when they are about to expire. Warm them up put them in a basket and give me butter. Such a small - perhaps minute action- but it was a huge miss. Other patrons were also commenting how bad the rolls were. We even joked, "death by dinner roll! " LOL. Cornbread- small portion but packed with flavor. I would say ease up on the Honey. I want to taste the corn bread too. It's unfortunate, I didn't have the experience others have had. Most likely not going to add it to my new restaurant rotation. There are other better options with better customer service.

Right away, the vibe was giving outdoor patio but with cozy indoor energy. Super clean inside and out, and the staff was really friendly. Our waitress this morning--her name was "B"--was the sweetest. Super kind, always checking in on us and making sure we were good. If you're like me and super indecisive, I usually stalk the menu the night before. But this menu was HUGE--pages and pages. I flipped straight to the brunch section in the back (three full pages!) and landed on the Supreme Skillet: potatoes, over-easy eggs, bell peppers, ham, and sausage. It came with three tortillas of your choice--I picked corn. Taste-wise, it was good, but I wish there were bigger and more pieces of meat. Compared to other skillets I've had, this one was a little light on the protein. It was $17.99. I'd rate it a 6.5/10, but with the refried beans on the side, it bumped up to a 6.9/10. My bestie ordered the Combo Benedict with French toast sticks, and honestly...the French toast sticks were the star. Super crispy, fluffy inside, and perfect with syrup. We also got the mimosa flight--mango, strawberry, and peach. All were tasty, super cute, and very Instagram-worthy. I can totally see this place popping at night with music and drinks. That said, even in the morning with only one other couple next to us, the music was pretty loud--it was kinda hard to talk during our brunch, literally had to look at besties lips to know what she's saying. I can't even imagine nighttime volume, lol. Overall: Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 3.5/5 Definitely a fun spot to try, especially if it's your first time! After waiting about 10 minutes without being able to place an order, we ended up leaving. It was disappointing, especially after driving out excited to try the drinks we saw online.
