Not my first review, but I still feel this bar is the most chill in the area. Love it. Good people, good service.

Randomly decided to try this spot, this seems like a local go to spot. Everyone seemed to know each other and the staff was friendly. They had a decent beers on drafts and the music was great.

Stumbled into the Tender Trap this weekend and it did not disappoint. The outside is very unassuming, but once you open that door you're greeted by 2 old school saloon style doors, and from that moment on, you know you're in for a good time! The decor was great, lots of great pictures (JFK), nice long wooden bar, and a few other tables to sit at. They had a pinball machine, pool table, a few TVs, and a jukebox for some added entertainment. Drinks were good, bartender and crowd were friendly, bathrooms were clean, and music was good! Will definitely be back!

Best Michis on Saturdays only by Ns Becki. Come check out the Trap for a nice vibe & meet new people.

This place is just SO darn cool. Full of boisterous laughter, and brimming with wise and funny conversations of regulars, seated merrily at the bar....this bar is definitely THE place to be. One pool table in the corner, but no people fighting over it. Games, conversation, beers in hand, people are friendly, welcoming and sweet. The bar tender was the NICEST. We are definitely going to be back here, again - the vibes here are just phenomenal!

Amazing…read morebeers, delicious food, a cool hybrid restaurant setup, attentive staff with cool uniforms. The place was the sh*t. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House

Gen has that rare gift of being everywhere at once: your glass never empties, but somehow she also has time to crack a joke, swap a story, and make you feel like you're the only person in the room. There is nothing special or significant about this bar. The reason I gave 1 star was the bathroom. I kid you not, there was a fucking hole in the woman's bathroom window! Parking is available in front, in back, and on street. NOTE: They do allow smoking inside. There's a good selection of bottle beers, but nothing on tap. Of course, you can get shots and simple cocktails, but they didn't have the ingredients to make an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. Drink prices were very reasonable ($13 for a Malibu & Coke and a Mudslide). We asked about food and were told that on occasion one of the women working there will bring something in or fire up a grill, but it's not a regular thing. Overall, it's a fun neighborhood bar with friendly service, and an intimate place to gather, hang out, and meet/make new friends. We'll be back.

It's conveniently located right on Grand Ave. I drove up & down Grand Ave for a long time never realizing this was a bar just because it kind of inconspicuous. It's in the middle of industrial buildings on one side & a liquor store & gas station on the other. I personally have never seen any kind of disrespect or "bad" behavior from customers. Everyone & everything is always just chill, having some adult beverages ( or not) , having conversations, socializing. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a nice little cozy place to hang out at.
