Finally! I was able to stop by this place on a Thursday. Bianca was just cool. She let us sample a couple of beers and poured with a smile. This very unpretentious spot is what it is. Fun, clean, good vibe-e, small but with a big feeling and bonus there's a mini-stage, patio, and a pool table. Good beer selection. Good prices. A dive bar meets a hole in the wall with the best atmosphere. It was karaoke night. It was fun. People that are just looking for a pint in a super relaxed, super chill, super be YOU setting and simply cool. First time and definitely not my last. Don't blink because you might just miss this place. Bonus, it's walking distance from The Hat and Wendy's in case you get hungry. Occasionally, yes, a food truck will pop up and it makes it all even better You should swing by this spot ASAP. Hope you're enjoying your summer. read more

My husband and I used to go to Britestar Tavern when we were dating. We came back yesterday and it still has the same vibe. They serve beer and hard seltzers, as well as a few shots. The Mexican candy shot was really good. They also have a pool table as well as different board games. The bartender was cool and gave good service. I'm so glad we stopped by and took a little walk on memory lane. We'll have to start coming back more often. read more

Let me start with the drinks are super affordable. The bartenders were great!!!! The atmosphere was super fun but if you come for Karaoke just know you might only get two songs in 2-3 hours. Also, if you're over 30 after 11 PM stay away. You will realize that crowd is much younger for a considered "dive bar." read more

Good drinks and cheap billiards pool. Fun relaxing atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend read more

My husband and I really enjoy this spot! They have a great selection of beers, fun karaoke and taco nights, and a super friendly staff. They also have open mic, live DJs or bands and market pop-ups. This place is cool and the decor adds to the charm. Total vibe! read more

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by an uncomfortable environment. During my visit, I witnessed several individuals engaged in negative conversations about others--particularly targeting newer guests or employees. One person named Rosie seemed to be the loudest and most persistent in this behavior, which created a very unwelcoming atmosphere. Everyone deserves to feel respected and safe in any environment, especially when they're new. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way. I hope management becomes more aware of the culture being fostered here and takes steps to encourage a more inclusive and respectful environment. Until then, I can't recommend this place. read more

Sweet little five bar in foothill Blvd Route 66. Ample parking spaces available in the back with the entrance leading through the patio. They serve beer and wine drinks along with a few wine based fruity shots. The Mexican candy shot is delicious and the bartenders are very friendly with their service! $5 for a tall can of PBR. $5 fruity shots as well. Lots of local craft beers on tap as well. Thursday nights they have karaoke. One pool table and lots of lounge seats to choose from. At night they also offer a taco man with yummy snacks. Will come back for a drink soon! read more

Cool place. Small and straight to the point. Only issue is that Glendora PD hangout outside waiting to prey on someone as they don't have better things to do with tax payer money. read more

I roll into the dimly lit parking lot behind the Britestar. Is it the light that enchants this moth? Or the multiple varieties of beer and wine? I have to admit some trepidation from seeing the gloomily illuminated exterior. But how wrong I was! The clean, smoke free interior has the look of a "cheers" type of bar, very brightly lit oh Britestar. "Natty," the charming and friendly bartender, made me feel right at home. I ordered up a fresh tasting Pabst Blue Ribbon and hunkered down at the end of the bar. Sports played on the tv and friendly looking people were enjoying a game of pool. read more

Looked for a dive bar in the area and this one got my attention, right away as I walked in with my bro we see the bar rescue sign and a picture of John taffer showing that he personally remodeled the bar a year ago. Right away I knew I walked into a gem . The bar had a great environment and ambiance from the lighting and the decorations all over especially cool was all the records hanging on the ceiling. Everything from Johnny Mathis to Frank Sinatra. The bartender was awesome she recommended me a good honey apple cider and after that a space brew with a taste of grape fruit. Wile we where there they had a jute box playing tunes and it was paint night. The bartender explained how each day of the week is different from karaoke and paint night to comedy nights as well. The experience was so good I think I'd like to come back on a Wednesday where they show case new beers and have game night with free food and snacks. read more

The best dive bar in Glendora by far, clean, fun, friendly, what more can you ask for. Also they have some sort of event going on everyday :) read more

I felt obligated to update my review after seeing the owners response. FYI, the customer next to us at the bar jumped in to our defense explaining that he had an expired ID that they didn't ask him to present. HA. Also, the owner attempts to explain california law to me in response to my review.. which is quite funny considering no one was educated enough at the time of the incident to explain any of this to us while we were trying to get serviced. I stand by my original review - this place left a sour taste in my mouth. We left feeling discriminated against. As I mentioned in my first review, they seemed to disregard us the moment we walked through the door. I'll continue to take my business elsewhere - thanks. read more

I like this bar I saw it on Bar Rescue and always stop on my way through it's more of a nEighborhood bar but the customers and staff have always been nice. There's not a lot of parking and the bars not very big but they do have drink specials. I'd skip the food lots of other places to eat all around. A few TVs too read more

WoWeeee where do I start? Brianna was my bartender and she served a good one :) but mine was a little stiff. I woke up in the dumpster outside! Like ummmm hello?? What am I the City of Hope?! Brianna never texted me back :/ Brianna if you're reading it's too late for me now. I've decided to live my life on the open road. I wish you and our newborn child the best. But in all honesty, she pretty fine tho... Where doth one lie his weeping wuggles when thou doth not come?? I can't read, yet I can write. Anyways, here we go. They don't even sell Juul pods here. Showed up hoping to be able to have a recap for the night. The place happened to be having a Taco Tuesday night but I had no idea where I could find any tacos, skipped out on them anyways. The place isn't too crowded or too inviting, it's very very bar like type of place that needs a big make over. The stools I sat in were really wobbly, I tried 3 different ones! The table we sat at was also pretty sticky and dirty. I did love though that the floors were clean and the ceiling was too (no cob webs at all!) There was one bartender who was nice when we placed our order and very on top of things. I ordered an IPA that was served in a huge margarita like type of glass. The glass was too heavy (yea call me weak sauce or whatever) to be lifting it up to take a drink. The glass would be perfect for a margarita with a straw but not sure if I would enjoy drinking my beer like that. Also they do not have hard liquor here, just some wine and beer. Needless to say, went in for a drink and only one drink I had. $21 for one Lagunitas IPA and 2 Guinness beers in a can. read more

New owners. No more popcorn. No more peanuts. What kind of dive does not offer SOME sort of complimentary snack to absorb the alchohol? Even a crappy ass pretzel will do. They don't even allow you to bring in your own food from other places anymore. They don't allow you to call a pizza place to deliver right to your table IN the Britestar (ha! those were the days). No more fun pot lucks. The Britestar has fallen and become the DimStar. read more

Love this place. Great beers on tap ranging from typical to not so typical. I love that there is always a new IPA to try. Staff is super friendly and informative and while the place smallish, its really open with different sources of entertainment. Honestly never went to this bar even though we live right down the street from here. We decided to try this place out over a year ago and now it's our official water hole. Super chill bar in the area. They only serve beer and wine but they make cocktails with rice wine and such. Honestly they have a great beer selection so it's awesome if that's your thing.
