We've passed by this place many times and ignored it. We are now kicking ourselves since they're so good. Their broth is so flavorful. Their handmade noodles are amazing. I love that you can choose your type of noodles cut. The place can get packed. Their service is attentive. TIP: do not park in the building parking lot ... it's expensive. There are other parking garages that's more affordable. read more

If you're standing in line, let me tell you... the wait is WORTH IT!! We waited about 20 minutes (honestly not too bad) to be seated. We had a very friendly, informative server who gave his food recommendations. Highlights: clean, lots of seating, HIGH quality food, quick service A couple tips from my experience: - the stir fry noodles are a safe bet. I got the chicken stir fry noodles and absolutely devoured it. The noodles had a perfect consistency (not too soft) and the the chicken and vegetables were juicy and flavorful - unless you're gluten free, don't get the gluten free noodle option. My friend tried it (not gluten free) and the flavor of the noodle is a bit different (not necessarily bad but not as good as the non-gluten free noodle options) - if you're in a group, pick an appetizer to split! We got the beef roll pancakes, one of my personal favorites, which helped satiate our hunger while waiting for our main courses. read more

Damn! The noodles here are soooo good! I got the minced beef dry noodle dish with the knife cut noodles and I loved it! It looked like the small portion but when I was done I was super full. The noodles were soooo chewy and delicious. You could really tell they were handmade. The flavor of the dish was great too. Can't wait to go back and order this dish again. The service was great and the restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend! read more

We stopped into Noodle St in Pasadena and left full, happy, and impressed. The space was spotless, the service was warm and attentive, and I loved that you can see straight into the kitchen--watching the chefs hand-cut noodles and drop them right into boiling water. You just know it's fresh when you see that. The food was rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. My bowl was packed with fresh ingredients and had that comforting depth of flavor you only get from a well-made broth. I was full in no time, but still found myself going back for "just one more bite." My toddler, equally stuffed, ended up falling asleep at the table--a sure sign of a happy, well-fed kid. Noodle St is the kind of place that makes you slow down and savor your meal. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area. read more

I grew up going to the Noodle Street in Monrovia, and it's always been one of my favorite restaurants. When you order a noodle dish, you can choose your noodle type, and I always go for the knife-cut noodles since I love chewy foods. You can see the chefs in the kitchen stretching and cutting the noodles, so you know you're getting fresh ingredients. The spicy beef noodle soup is solid, but the real star is the stir-fry noodles. Everything about it is perfect, from the toppings to the sauce. The interior is modern, and the staff is warm and friendly. The only downside is that the portions have gotten smaller over the years. read more

I wish I could eat these noodles everyday... Noodles street is the perfect place for a warm bowl of beef noodles, but don't sleep on their other dishes! My favorite was actually the beef roll pancake! So crispy on the outside and super flavorful on the inside- filled with green onions, cilantro, hoisin and tender beef. We had the flat noodles in the beef noodle soup which I would recommend. They were chewy and super super long! Tried to slurp up a single noodle and it just didn't end! The wait was thirty minutes on a weekend night but once we were seated the food came out fast. Service was very friendly. The service was great, and the menu offers plenty of dishes to choose from, which I appreciated. My favorite items were the chicken dumplings and the beef rolls -- both were absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the beef soup; it had a comforting, savory flavor. However, I wasn't a fan of the lamb skewers. The cumin flavor was overpowering and just didn't work for me. A casual spot that serves up some good food. It can get a little busy at times but they do have a Yelp waitlist on a tablet that you can use to sign up in the front. They do have high chairs available. Fried Chicken Wings - Crispy, moist, well-seasoned. Just a good chicken wing imo. Scallion Pancake - They're tasty but not mind-blowing. Chicken Spicy Wontons - Full of flavor and moderately spicy. Stir Fry Noodles - I'm not too big on noodle soups so this is usually my go-to order. The knife cut noodles are nice and chewy and the savory sauce is what brings it all together. Quite balanced with all the vegetables too. Korean BBQ with Rice - I tried this once and it was okay. It kind of eats like bulgogi. read more

Delicious handmade noodles! You can see them make the noodles through the window in the kitchen. I had the knife cut beef noodle stir-fry. The sauce was very flavorful. I also had the lamb skewers and spicy wontons. The lamb was seasoned well. The wontons were pretty big and meaty. The sauce was not as spicy as I expected and was a little sweet. My group enjoyed their noodles as well. It seems to be a popular place. Plenty of people were standing outside when we arrived. The food comes out pretty fast so the wait for a table didn't take long. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. read more

A bowl of soup always sounds good to me and I wish I lived closer to this restaurant! Went during the weekend and there were a few people waiting outside but the wait wasn't that long. The restaurant inside was clean and cute. The server was really nice and I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup. The bowl was pretty big when it arrived and I could've easily shared it with another person. The broth was super tasty and the noodles went well with it. There was a good amount of meat and I got full halfway through the bowl haha I took a little break and ended up finishing the whole thing :) it was delicious and I'll definitely visit again to try their other soups! read more

Yummmm! It's so nice to get authentic Chinese flavors so close to La! The beef roll pancakes are the best I've had and the clear broth beef noodle soup was so tasty! My husband's family is Muslim so dining at Noodle St has become a regular for us since they are Halal. To be honest - everything they have here is good. The fresh made noodles make a huge difference compared to other places, and I mean that in the best way possible. Some of our usuals are the Beef Roll Pancakes, Beef Fried Rice, Korean BBQ with Rice, and the Stir Fry Noodles. We just recently tried the Savory Braised Chicken Noodle and it was cooked so well we enjoyed it a lot. Recently they added Chicken Spicy Wontons to the menu and they were good also! I also love the chili oil that they have - it has a smoky roasted taste to it. Noodle St is always consistent and will remain a staple in our dinner rotations! read more

My husband and I came on a brisk autumn night after the rains and the soup hit the spot! I ordered the Signature Beef Noodle Soup (plain, not spicy) with flat noodles. While the soup was flavorful and the beef was thinly sliced, the noodles came in a big clump that made it hard to eat. Hubs ordered the Bone in Rib Rice Noodle Soup. His broth was a little less flavorful but I loved the tenderness of the beef on the rib. Again, the noodles were a bit less than ideal as some of the noodles were unevenly cooked and al dente. We also ordered the beef rolls which were delicious. Maybe they were just having an off night with the noodles? Overall, good, but I was a little surprised by the noodles from Noodle Street. Service was mostly good. We ordered quickly and the food came out fast. However, the waiter never came back to take our check. OMG!!!! We stopped by this little gem after a relaxing massage down the street. Initially, we were looking for a sushi spot but something about this place made us change our mind. We were greeted by a friendly employee who advised we could sit anywhere we'd like. The minute you walk in, you KNOW the food is gonna be good because you see your food being prepared in the kitchen, fresh noodles being made right in front of you! We both decide to get the Spicy beef noodle soup, we chose flat noodles but you can choose whatever noodles you want. The portions are HUGE! we could have definitely shared one bowl. I went to the location near UCLA and I'm so glad it's halal because the food truly is hearty and some of the best Chinese I've had. Weirdly I wasn't in the mood for noodles but decided to try Noodles St anyway. The cucumber salad was good, still crunchy and refreshing, paired well with everything. The lamb skewers were tasty, good spice but a little dry for my taste. The scallion pancakes were great, crisp and not greasy at all. The star was the beef roll, very balanced in flavor, not overly dressed with hoisin and the beef itself was top notch. One of the best beef rolls I've had in a while. 5 stars. read more

I normally dine at the Santa Anita mall location. It did not occur to me that they have more than one location. I was able to find street parking and stopped by for lunch. Great atmosphere. I wanted to try something different so I ordered Spring cold noodle and Chicken noodle/rice noodle soup. Depending on what you order, you can choose your noodles (standard round, flat, triangle or knife cut). I enjoyed the spice for the cold noodle. Not too spicy, just enough. My friend and I came here for dinner because the line at Boiling Point was insane. I ordered a spicy beef noodle soup with beef tendons. When my bowl arrived, I tried the soup, and it was actually quite spicy. I don't usually mind spicy food, but the soup itself was very strong. I went to try the beef but couldn't find any tendons. I reported this to the waiter, who also couldn't find any and took the bowl back. I watched as the chef took my bowl, removed some beef pieces, and added tendons. While I don't think there was anything wrong with that, I couldn't help but feel it was wasteful. Why remove the beef when it's just going to be thrown away? Couldn't they have simply brought me a small bowl with a few pieces of tendon instead? It seemed like they'd rather waste the beef than admit the mistake and make it right by adding the tendons. There wasn't much beef to begin with. Halfway through the meal, my stomach started to burn, and I didn't even finish the bowl. I ended up taking it home, planning to add water because the soup was just too strong. We also ordered the beef roll, and that wasn't bad. read more

The current manager was my waiter this time, and he said that staffing has been a challenge; he himself also worked here, left , and returned. Colette offers a somewhat non-traditional, somewhat elevated menu, not as varied as other Chinese places, although they do offer dim sum and lunch specials. Note the menu on the website is old and kind of obsolete; the newer menu, which is laminated and has photos, is more extensive. The dish I always order is their fabulous chayote minced pork. I've also ordered their live lobster when I have a hankering. They have the lobsters and crabs in tanks on view, priced per pound. They can prepare it in several ways; I always choose stir-fried with ginger and scallions and add noodles. They also have some specialty dishes like winter melon soup that you must order in advance. I ordered 3 other dishes, only one for the first time. That was honey-glazed beef cubes. Slices of beef covered in sliced almonds on a bed of asparagus with an orange sauce that was similar to orange marmalade. Tasty and unique. The other 2 dishes that I've had before were the golden yolk luffa and the goo-loo pork (aka sweet and sour pork). Luffa is a gourd (like a cucumber) that is edible when young, but turns into the fibrous sponges we bathe with when mature. It's slighty bitter, here stir-fried with salted egg yolk. The pork was pretty traditional, slightly elevated with the addition of strawberries. For me, a reliable neighbourhood spot for Chinese. I hope they can keep it together.

Parking is easy, on the street or in the parking lot behind the restaurant. You can also park in the parking lot behind the Jamba Juice, which is located south of the Cordova Street. The servers were excellent, very attentive, extremely friendly, and definitely helpful. Would definitely come back, but knowing that it is on the expensive side. For seven dishes, pretty standard ones, it was approximately $150 after including tax and tip. The ambience was definitely immaculate, very clean restaurant, and the food was pretty solid.

There is no parking provided but there are public structures around Colorado and there is metered street parking. So I wanted to write a review about Saturday night 8/21/21. I guess their credit card payments system was down and the host let us know that from the start. But we arrived around 7pm and it was a mad house. There was a waitlist, and customers flooded in the front to pay I assume.. after about waiting 25 minutes we were sat down. The host was very kind and made sure we felt comfortable with their payment options (cash, or Zelle???) not sure how it would work with Zelle lol seems unprofessional for a restaurant. Anyway, we sat and food took a long time to come out but christina made the wait worth while. She continuously checked on us, and we saw her go to every single table to check in as well which I really appreciate. She told us about the history of Noodle St and I could seriously feel the passion and love she has for the noodles. I ordered her two favorites, the egg with tomato and signature beef noodle. Both were superb!!!! I would say they're simple but really delicious as you can taste the different spices and the noodle textures are fun. The main reason why I wanted to write this review is, is because all the employees seemed really stressed out and frustrated from the system being down and I felt really bad. It can't be easy to deal with this kind of issue. Even though it was really busy and could have easily been a bad night for most- my friends and I had a good time. Wow!!!! Excellent food and excellent service!!!! There is a soft opening sign up so they must be new to old town. There's a few spots right in front but if you're not lucky you'll have to find a public structure around Colorado. I was really hungry and looking for food on Yelp and this place has good ratings so I thought I'd come in and try it out. From my first impression, the interior design is really bright and modern and feels very clean. Even the restroom was spotless and had a nice floral scent inside. My server christina explained the menu to me, and told me what are my best options based on my preferences. Her attitude and energy is so positive and contagious that I'm coming back just for her and her service! Now, onto the food. I ended up choosing the peach black tea, signature beef noodle with standard round noodles, potato string shrimp and the beef stuffed pancakes. Holy shi....... Everything was really delicious and honestly the best noodles I've ever had. Christina explained that the standard round noodles are most similar to ramen noodles and now I can't go back to packaged ramen.. ever. The shrimp came in 5 pieces and were very tasty. The beef stuffed pancakes were like rectangular dumplings filled with juice from heaven. I was warned to let them sit for a few minutes because the juice is really hot. I am going to order like 10 of these the next time I come in. Lastly, the peach black tea was a perfect refreshing drink to go along with the food. I am so happy to have found this place. You can see the chefs making the noodles in the kitchen. I would recommend the spicy beef noodle soup with the knife cut noodles. Great flavor and large portions. The knife cut noodles were thick and chewy and perfectly cooked. The noodles with minced beef were also amazing and it comes with a small soup. Egg and tomato over noodles was one of my favorites. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The beef roll pancake (cut into 4 pieces) is a must. It had lots of cilantro and green onions giving a fresh flavor in each bite. I would also recommend the lamb skewers (3 pieces) and meat pies (2 pieces). They provide chili oil and vinegar which paired well with all the food. We went on a busy Sunday night. Our server, Christina was extremely welcoming and provided great recommendations. She checked on us throughout the night. I have been to the location in the Arcadia mall and it was good but service was not the best so I thought I would try a different location.. and now I can confidently say I will NOT be back. I'm not sure what kind of management is happening in this company but this is not okay. We dined in here today (Wednesday night) and there was a girl who came to take our order but she was very rude to us from the start and slammed down all our waters and food. We let her know she forgot to bring us our drinks and she literally said to us "I don't know about that" and walked away. At no point did she try to get us our drinks or even talk to us. I thought we were paying customers??? There was an older lady who looks to be the manager but she was only talking with our server in the front and didn't seem to care about what was happening in the restaurant. There are several Noodle St locations around town and I'm happy to say I've tried them all. They're all very good and consistent in flavor. I usually order the beef noodle soup, the fried tofu, lamb skewers, and xia long bao. Of course there's more things I order from here but these are my top options usually. The beef noodle is accompanied by a flavorful soup broth and the noodles are always cooked just right. The lamb skewers are a nice part of the combo. I like Noodle St and how their food tastes so clean. They definitely pay attention to the details and put quality first from the many times I've eaten here. There's a large selection of noodle and dumpling options here. I usually get the zhajiang mian, the lamb skewers, and the beef roll. The zhajiang mian isn't too salty which happens quite often with this dish. Luckily, they are very consistent and prepare it just to my liking. The lamb skewers are seasoned with cumin and chili flakes. The beef roll comes with cucumbers, cilantro, and sweet bean paste. Really yummy. read more

The food was alright, but let me tell you about this Asian waitress with long hair. She had such a crappy attitude, especially towards ladies. When I asked for some menu recommendations, she was like, "It's a small selection, so just pick whatever," but then she goes and suggests a specific menu to my husband without him even asking. And to top it all off, they added a mandatory 20% gratuity for parties of six or more. Talk about a rip-off! Service is prompt. We placed an order for pickup by phone, and upon our arrival, the food was already prepared. The interior is warm and inviting. You're absolutely invited to relax and enjoy a meal, and your dishes will be served in exquisite presentation, making it feel like you're dining at an upscale establishment.
