Love the food, enjoyed the cozy-with-a little-dash-of-vintage atmosphere, and always appreciate friendly service. I must have my cup of barley ginger tea when I visit. Smooth and perfectly sweetened. It's amazing, and I just have to learn how to make it!! My favorite Thai dish is pad see ew with beef, and they did not disappoint. Also got a small wonton soup and it was plenty for two. Very tasty! A sweet dining experience. We came at 6p, found plenty of parking, and were seated immediately.

Whenever I'm in Pasadena, this is my MUST visit, go-to!!! I crave it! It's a cute little charming restaurant with a local vibe. I can't get over how tasty and addictive the spicy eggplant is. A hint of spice and soo tasty. The sauce on the crying tiger is a tangy, spicy lime sauce that I'm determined to figure out what makes it soooo mouthwatering. The shrimp salad is a fresh balance with giant grilled shrimp and cashews. Service is super friendly!! If you like Thai food-this is a must try!

I recently tried out this place, and all I can say is that the food was great! I went with one other person, and we shared the papaya salad, panang curry with tofu, and the pad thai. Everything was delicious, but my favorite had to be the papaya salad, you definitely need to try it! The service was attentive throughout our meal, and the atmosphere was really cute and welcoming. I'd definitely come back again.

Great customer service! Limited parking in the back along with street parking. Decent prices and lunch specials. Cute ambiance--Great place for one on one dining!

Sweet like Daisy, refreshing like mint. Daisy Mint is a charming little Thai restaurant in Pasadena. My family of three came here for early dinner/ late lunch yesterday. We shared their Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Red Pork Plate. The flavors were delicious, and each plate generously & beautifully served. Their red pork plate was delicious. My one wish would be that they served more of it, as I felt it was a couple pieces on top of a lot of rice. Our noodles were delicious. Pad Thai was my favorite for the night. Service was great! Our server was friendly, and prompt. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.

This restaurant is so, so cute. I was recommended this by a college professor and knew i had to come see what it's about... Their Pad thai portions are big and very sharing friendly. Their coconut chicken and shrimp noodle soup are both very good. Big bowl of soup to share. I was feeling health conscious and went for the salmon wrap and liked that they made it more tangy, but did not like the texture of the shredded salmon bits. Its a great restaurant to take people to who like aesthetics and good food altogether

Garlic green beans! Cooked perfectly with a nice crisp to them. The garlic sauce you could drink!!!!

Recommended by locals. The food was amazing! The staff was friendly and we were immediately seated. The ambience is clearly a local's favorite and feels like you are in the living room of the cook! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We ordered so much food, a beer and a glass of wine. Subtotal was $68!!!!! I gave an 18% tip.

Came in for Sunday lunch with a friend. We found 1-hour street parking with no hassle. Inside is bright, clean, plenty of tables for small and medium sized groups. We were greeted and seated right away. There were a few tables with customers there already. The menu seemed small but I didn't mind it since they seemed to have a lot of main dishes. They do have some lunch specials but we opted for the full menu since we were sharing. We ordered the pad see ew with chicken and the papaya salad. It didn't take long for us to get our food. Pad See Ew. This was amazing. Great flavor, good amount of chicken, perfectly cooked veggies. We did order this medium spice but it didn't seem to have any spice at all. Papaya Salad. A generous portion. Great taste. I do think it needed to be a little saltier but it was pretty fresh and light. The menu specified that this was a spicy dish but it didn't have a hint of spice at all. I really enjoyed trying this place out and I will keep coming back to try more menu items. I hear the eggplant here is one of their must haves. I had to knock down a star because once the food came out, they forgot about us. We had to get up about 3-4x to ask for drink refills, to ask for the table spices, to ask for to-go containers, etc. But when we were ordering we had multiple people ask if we were ready to order, even though we had already put in our order. So maybe it was just an oversight and they thought someone else had already helped us. Either way it's not a deal breaker this time.

5+* Food 4.5 Service 4.5 Ambiance Daisy Mint in Pasadena was a serendipitous find for me. It has been a while since Ive been impressed with a Thai restaurant. Since Saladang changed hands, I didn't think I could find another Thai restaurant with the richness in flavors, herbs and ingredients. The restaurant is filled with old and new touches... a bit outdated and dusty, with a little TLC, I'm certain this restaurant would be more welcoming. The food is outstanding and that is the main draw: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Every dish is bold with flavors that satisfies all your Thai food cravings. The menu offers a great variety, from classic Thai favorites to house specialties and everything we tried was delicious. We ordered the Steak Salad which is served with rice; quality, flavorful, grilled beef on a bed of lettuce, onions and a green chili sauce was unlike any Thai steak salad I had. It was delicious and I could have easily had another order. The Daisy Noodles were decadent and rich in both texture and flavor; the peanut sauce was balanced and satisfying. Although the sauce is rich in flavor, I wish there was an protein or vegetable option to add to the noodles. However, if you like silky noodles in a rich flavorful sauce, this noodle dish is delish. The Summer Roll is a healthy green lettuce wrapped in rice paper and served with a very flavorful peanut sauce which really made these rolls delicious, otherwise, the rolls were ordinary and perhaps my least favorite item ordered. My litmus test for all Thai restaurants is their Green Curry... Daisy mint passed the test! The richness in both flavor and color of the green curry, abundance of vegetables and shrimp, made this a home run! I can't wait to return and try their other dishes! Limited wine and beer options are available with other soft drinks. Dessert options are very limited.

Daisy Mint is a quaint little Thai place, interior honors a unique dinner setting. Plenty of street parking and located within minutes of other great experiences in Pasadena. Food was delicious! I enjoyed the Panang Curry on the menu which stole my heart. A hint of spice and served with rice, chefs kiss. This is one of my new comfort meals. In addition, Drunken noodles were a great complement to the curry. Noodles were a good texture, mixed in is choice of meat (I chose beef), baby tomatoes and bell peppers! The different elements in this dish worked very nicely together and is worth a try when you visit! Full circle moment was ordering jasmine tea to keep a good balance with some spice on the menu. Service was just fine which is why I am leaving a 4 star rating. No one really checked in on my friend and I during the meal unless we waved staff down for something like more water or chili paste.

High quality Thai food in a great location! Came in for lunch and left very satisfied. Every meal was delicious (seriously). The service was great and the restaurant inside was nice to sit in. Above all though, I cannot recommend the peanut dumplings enough--a must try. If ever back in the area, I will eat here again.

Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines. I can have it anytime. This spot is a small spot in Pasadena. Amazing service and great tasty food. They also have a green Thai tea which I think is better than the original.

One of the best Thai food in SGV area. Cozy and amble decoration. The store has been here for a while and everything is made fresh in house. - Pad Thai: 5/5. Flavor spots on, plenty of meat, noodle has the consistent chewy texture. - Pineapple fried rice: 4.5/5. Really solid. You can taste the wok hei, and the rice isn't clumpy at all--each grain is nicely separated and full of flavor. - Papaya Salad: 4.5/5. Wish it comes with dried shrimp, but overall still solid option. Another thing I loveee about Daisy Mint is that they added generous amount of crumbled peanuts. You can ask them to leave on the side. Parking in the back and enter through backdoor, or street parking in the front.

The portions looked relatively small, but filled us up perfectly. We were a party of three but only ordered two entrée since we weren't that hungry. When I go to a Thai or Thai-inspired restaurant, I expect vibrant, layered flavors, but what we received tasted muted and almost as if key ingredients were missing. It honestly made me wonder if there had been a mistake in the kitchen. The service didn't help improve the experience. Our server rarely checked in on us--no one asked if we needed napkins or refills, and empty or untouched plates were left sitting on the table far too long. When I brought up the issue with the lack of flavor, there was little acknowledgment and nothing was done to address the concern or make things right. Overall, the combination of bland food and inattentive service made for a frustrating dining experience.
