    Eggplant dish
    Wilfred T.

The food was good, authentic Thai cuisine. The place was a little quaint with a great atmosphere that was relaxing. The owners ran the place, and the wife and husband were working there. The wife was very attentive and provided great service. My mom had a vegetarian eggplant dish, which she liked. My father ordered chicken wings and noodles, which they both enjoyed. I had their specialty, which was some sort of curry with noodles underneath. I wanted some fried noodles on top. The dish was flavorful; I could taste the herbs and spices, and it was very fresh.

My BF and I came for the $14.99 lunch special. This charming café with the sweet curtains in front, comfortable seating and nice decoration has been open just two weeks, but they are showing sophistication in the cooking and lovely presentation choices on the combination meal. The lunch specials are served with a House green salad (iceberg), which was topped with a Thai salad dressing that was mayonnaise based, a nice hot spring roll, and steamed white rice or brown rice. Choice of chicken, fried tofu, or vegetable is included. For small extra fee add beef or shrimp. I chose Thai chicken with basil as my entrée and he chose Pad See Ew with Tofu as his. I was pleased that the chicken was all white meat breast of chicken, and there was a nice selection of crisp stir fried green bell pepper, green beans, and onion. In the Pad See Ew, the tofu had been cut with a crimper knife into large squares with curly edges and then deep fried to give it crust. That dish also included vegetables, including carrot and broccoli. Instead of rice, crispy wonton strips were provided to dunk in the sweet sauce. The eggroll was nice and hot and came with a tasty sweet-and-sour dipping sauce. The portions on both entrées and the additional dishes were generous enough that we took home at least half for a second meal. Our server was very kind and attentive. Parking is free and plentiful in the lot of this cafe located in a small mall on the corner of Washington and Fair Oaks Avenue. 4% is added if you wish to use a credit card. This food was fresh and very tasty and we are looking forward to returning, soon.

My go-to is the beef noodle soup with knife-cut noodles, and I love the meaty beef rib. The broth is comforting, the noodles have that great chewy texture, and the beef is exactly what I want when I am craving something warm and filling. I keep telling myself I should branch out and try more of their noodle dishes, but my heart simply cannot say no to the beef noodle soup. I have also had the dumplings and beef rolls before, and both are good as well. The place can get full, but it is always worth it and genuinely never disappoints. Overall, Noodle Street is a reliable favorite for a cozy meal, especially when the weather calls for something warm, hearty, and satisfying.

The quality was solid, and everything came out hot. The chicken wings were great, the garlic green beans and cucumber salad were amazing, and the signature spicy ramen was really good too. It was a bit greasy, almost like birria, but the meat was tender and the broth tasted like it had been cooking for 48 hours deep, rich, and full of flavor. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the Korean beef. It was way too sweet and didn't really give Korean BBQ flavor. The meat seemed more steamed than grilled, and not even vinegar or chili oil could save it for me. Other than that, everything else was fresh, flavorful, and worth coming back for.

The service is consistently great... attentive, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. Fair warning for anyone new to Sichuan cuisine, the dominant flavor is "spicy". That said, the dishes are not just about heat... they're layered, aromatic, and incredibly well-balanced. Every dish I've tried has been outstanding, both in flavor and presentation. If you're a fan of bold, authentic flavors and reliable service, this spot is definitely worth visiting. Tip - If you're new to the cuisine, I strongly recommend getting everything MILD spicy. I've been told by some of my colleagues that MILD spicy is still pretty spicy, so be warned. With that said, strongly recommend the dishes below. Lamb with Cumin 11/10 - My favorite dish here by far. Aromatic, flavorful, and the spices are just on point. Dan Dan Noodles 9/10 - Solid and consistently good. The sauce is properly seasoned and truly compliments the perfectly cooked noodles. Shredded Cabbage with Pork 9/10 - Not to be confused with twice cooked pork. This dish is so simple and bland looking, but it's packed with flavor... so good! Garlic Pork Belly 8/10 - This is a cold dish. The meat was perfectly cooked and properly coated in chili oil. Solid and consistently good. Kung Pao Chicken 8/10 - In my opinion, it's an elevated Kung Pao Chicken. Solid and consistently good.

The restaurant is bright, spacious, and welcoming, and the aroma of the simmering broth filled the air the moment we walked in. My coworker ordered the Beef Curry and Rice with a Vegetable Korokke and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. One of the highlights of our visit was the Black Truffle Chawanmushi. It was absolutely divine! The silky steamed egg combined with shrimp, scallops, and the rich truffle sauce created layers of incredible umami flavor. Every bite was comforting, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. To share, we ordered the tofu and seaweed salad along with the garlic edamame. The garlic edamame is a must-order. The sauce was so flavorful that I honestly wouldn't mind eating a bowl of rice topped with just that garlic sauce. It was that good! We tried the yuzu shio ramen and the karaage chicken curry rice bowl. The yuzu shio ramen was definitely lighter and more citrusy because of the yuzu, which I can appreciate, though it wasn't necessarily my preferred ramen flavor profile. I ordered it with chicken instead of pork, and I really appreciated that the karaage chicken came on the side so it stayed crispy and didn't get soggy in the broth. My partner really enjoyed the karaage chicken curry rice bowl. We also tried the tamagoyaki appetizer for the first time. Interesting flavor profile, but honestly it didn't really pair well with the rest of what we ordered, so we ended up taking most of it home and never really finishing it. Service was attentive and good, and the restaurant had a lively, active atmosphere with a steady crowd inside. Overall, a solid ramen place that's worth trying, especially if you enjoy lighter ramen styles.

You really cannot go wrong with the xiao long bao, steamed buns, or any of their other dumpling offerings. Beyond the dumplings, they have a lot of other dishes I really enjoy. Some of my favorites are the beef rolls, spicy wontons, green onion pancake, chow fun, orange chicken, and chow mein noodles. The noodles are especially good and, importantly, not overly greasy or oily, which can sometimes be an issue at other places. The prices are also competitive, especially considering the portions and quality of the food. It is the kind of place where you can order a good spread, share a bunch of dishes, and feel like you got a solid meal for the money. I also love that they bring out sugared peanuts when you sit down. It is a small touch, but a really nice one. The restaurant has plenty of seating, though service can be a bit slow at times, so good luck flagging down a waiter when it gets busy. You can also tell they are a high-volume dumpling restaurant because there is often steam in the dining room, which can make the restaurant feel a little warm at times.
