Pasadena Noodle and Grill is located at 2335 East Colorado Boulevard Suite #110 Pasadena, California. This is a small friendly Vietnamese Restaurant located in Pasadena Plaza. It is situated parallel to Sierra Madre Boulevard, with other boutique stores and food establishments, this is a large complex which includes Von's as the primary foundation store. When I was there, they had a menu on a stand located outside the entrance. When I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello and guided to the customer service counter by the aroma of food cooking in the kitchen. I explained that I needed help ordering, as there were so many items to choose from. I explained that I'd like to try some of their most popular items. I was given a lot of options by two staff members. I believe their names were Emily and Heidi working on the computer. I decided to order five items. I knew it was too much to eat but there was a holiday coming up and I wanted to have extra food that would be easy to warm up. 1 x#95.charbroiled Pork Sw - #95. It made it very easy for me to carry while walking. Items were packed individually, making it easy to put together the different dishes when I got home. The pork sandwich was very good. I enjoyed the fresh greens as well as the tender pork. The spring rolls were a salad wrapped in rice paper. Plenty of fresh greens and vegetables with an enjoyable House made dipping sauce. Just a secret that you should know ahead of time: these are not small spring rolls. Each spring roll is almost a complete meal. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly and the spicy greens surrounding them made it a perfect combination. The House Special Soup #1 was a great combination of a flavorful broth with perfectly cooked meat. This is definitely an enjoyable a dining experience. I was very happy that I had ordered it spicy. The flavors and the spice of the broth were a perfect accompaniment to the meat sprouts and greens that were added. The #17 the char-broiled chicken and rice was a perfect combination. The chicken pieces were filled with flavor. Great combination with the rice and the additional sauces. I added some sriracha from one of the packets to give it a little bit more kick for me. Next time I will order it extra spicy. Very impressed with Pasadena Noodle and Grill , there are plenty of other items that I was interested in trying, so I look forward to coming back to experience other items on their extensive menu. I even look forward to mixing and matching the items that I bring home with the different flavors and ingredients, since all of them are fresh and flavorful. Variety, quality, and friendly service. This place feels a bit like a scam. The food is decent, but they automatically give you the large size and charge you for it, even when you don't order it. You have to be very specific about wanting the regular size. I've been here a number of times and kept wondering why I was spending so much, especially since I always want a smaller portion and never order large. Today I paid closer attention to what I was ordering versus what I was being charged. Sure enough, I ordered a regular size, received what I thought was regular, but was charged the higher price. I was surprised at the high Uber Eats price, but that's just the cost of delivery in 2025. The food was bountiful however, and probably could have served 4 people. I especially recommend the chicken vermicelli plate. It was about half veggies, and they were very fresh and flavorful. They perfectly balanced the noodles and lemongrass chicken.
