Located in downtown Pasadena, this Thai food restaurant is cooking up dishes for dine in and take out. During my most recent visit, there were a lot of people dropping in to pick up orders to-go. There are indoor and outdoor seating options so that's convenient when the weather is really nice outside. Tried the Tom Yum soup, Papaya Salad, and Pad Thai. Food was good, but had the same few ingredients in every dish -- meaning, I would have preferred more distinction on taste. The servers were nice but the experience felt rushed. Wouldn't be my first choice for Thai food when back in town, but I would be open to giving this spot another try.

PARKING: Parked in a lot near the Pasadena Playhouse and walked over. SEATING: There are lots of seats inside and outside but they fill up quick! Came to eat here before a play at 7PM at the Playhouse and got there around 5:10PM. Inside was completely full but outside had seating. It was nice! But there was a 20 minute wait after we sat down. SERVICE: It seemed a bit slow as I was sat outside but I didn't need much. They took the order and the food came out promptly. Just didn't see anyone again until the check and boxes were needed. No complaints really. I'm sure they are attentive when they aren't slammed. FOOD: Wow! Food came out quick and piping hot! The appetizers were amazing! The way they breaded the calamari had such an interesting contrast with the squid that I kept going back to it! So flavorful especially with the sauce. The pad thai was amazing! The right firmness with the noodles and the taste was phenomenal! Wish they added more shrimp as there were only 2 but I get it. There was plenty of chicken though! Chicken in every bite and a healthy amount of beansprouts. Was even better with the pickled chili. OVERALL: Usually I get Blaze before watching a play at the Playhouse but this will be my new spot to go to now. Just a great spot with great vibes!!

Food is great, space is great, and service is especially lovely. Absolutely adore this place.

Nine & Nine did not disappoint! I stopped by at lunch for the first time and thought that the lunch special was great value, considering it was $12.50. I think it's definitely hard to come by nowadays, especially at dine-in restaurants. The lunch special comes with an entree, salad, and a choice of egg rolls or dumplings. I ordered the lunch yellow curry with two egg rolls (which were sooo delicious). The yellow curry was perfectly creamy and spicy. My only complaint is that the beef was on the dry side. Service was great. Only thing is parking there's limited street parking and it's all metered.

Our usual Thai spot was closed today, so decided to give this place a try. Ordered takeout, and everything went smoothly. Food was ready quickly and was delicious! They even included a beautiful flower in with my mango sticky rice. The mango was nice and ripe, and everything was delicious. I ate the whole thing, which is rare for me. Will order from this place again. I highly recommend the mango sticky rice. It's a favorite dish of mine, and theirs is perfection.

Cozy little restaurant with really yummy food! The portions were especially huge for the price. Guaranteed to hit the spot for anyone craving Thai food :3 My friends and I ordered the pad thai, the tofu ka prow, the pad see ew, and the tom yum fried rice. The white rice that came with the tofu ka prow also came in the shape of a flower - so cute!!! I honestly recommend them all!

Really good curry! Came across this place after taking a pilates class nearby. We got seated outside right away since it was a nice day out and got our orders in. I ordered the chicken panang curry with their eggrolls. They have a lunch special running on weekends which is rare. Lunch special was about $12, and came with one entree, a side salad, and choice of egg rolls or dumplings. The curry was super good, mild spice, came with bell peppers and a lot of chicken. The sauce was a good texture, and the bell peppers were fresh and not overcooked. The only thing I wasn't a fan of were the egg rolls. Would love to come back to try their other entrees for lunch!

Best soup ever! I went there in a whim cuz I was in the area and needed something for my cold/flu and this has hit the spot. I'll probably order another large tomorrow or Saturday and eat it all day again. So impressed!! There is a lot of chicken and vegetables in it and the chili paste is the perfect touch. I ordered a large and that me it's enough for two big bowls the portion is perfect. Also everything is so fresh, the meat, the vegetables all of it!

We went to eat about an hour before the establishment closed and I was surprised that the restaurant has many customers still there, being seated, picking up orders. We found a good booth and sat down. We ordered our food and waited a couple of minutes before our food was at our table. The food was so good. I missed what good Thai food tastes like as our favorite Thai restaurant closed down near our house. I would definitely recommend eating here as they are prompt in service and have tasty food. If I'm in the area again, this is a place to go to!

Stopped by for lunch for the first time & this Thai spot is very cute. There's lots of lunch and dinner value options on the menu. Service was good. Food was solid as well. The crispy pork on the papaya salad really stood out here.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! The food is phenomenal. Their Pad See Ew is perfectly done--the noodles have just the right texture, and the chicken and veggies are sautéed to perfection with a great balance of flavors. The dish with Chinese broccoli and crispy pork (don't know the nane) in that incredible sauce is seriously addictive! The eggplant with tofu is also a must-try. They also offer a wide variety of generous lunch specials, which come with veggie rolls or chicken dumplings. Service is quick, and the place is spotless. Highly recommended!

Good authentic Thai food in Pasadena. Their Chicken Yellow Curry is delicious as well as their Eggplant with Tofu. The Pad See Eu was just ok, a little moshy, I think the noodles were little over cooked, though the flavor was good. Service is fast and good customer service. It's a tiny place and gets real busy. Good friendly atmosphere and clean. I will definitely come back to try the rest of their menus

We waited around 30 minutes to order and get our food and there were quite a few people in the store when we went on a weekend around 7 PM. We ordered the fried rice with chicken and pad Thai. The portions looked relatively small, but filled us up perfectly. We were a party of three but only ordered two entrée since we weren't that hungry. The fried rice was not too salty and was very well balanced, and the cucumbers added an amazing freshness. The pad Thai had a strong acidity to it, but we enjoyed the crispy pork belly it came with. Both of the entrées were not too oily or greasy. The rest of their menu looked amazing and I hope to be back to try it soon. They also have Thai tea which I am a sucker for, so I'll definitely be back to try that too. Overall, I'd recommend this place for some delicious, casual Thai food and good vibes.

But also... this was in the middle of the desert at a music festival so ngl I didn't have high hopes lol. But their Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai was so good!! The flavor was super authentic, spicy, tangy, just hitting all the right notes. The noodles had that perfect chewiness, not clumped together so they know exactly what they doing with their food! Bakka Wild Salmon - This salmon had a lot of things going on for it, in a good way! The combination of flavors felt very refreshing, especially on a hot day. The lime and basil was played a big part there. Crispy Short Rib with Lime - Even initially before coming here, this was the dish that caught our attention. Truffle Wok Seared Noodles - We wanted to pick this noodle dish as a balance to the protein dishes. It did its job but it tasted okay. Not something that stood out. Slow-Drip Vietnam Coffee Flan - I liked the caramel that was layered on the flan, it was crunchy and added a nice texture. It was a nice presentation but tasted okay. Thai Tea - This was my personal drink. It was a standard Thai tea but came with ice cream on top. It was not too sweet but didn't stand out compared to other items. Strawberry Pandan Lemonade - This was my girlfriend's drink. I had a small sip here but found it was refreshing and not too sweet. However, I didn't really get any pandan flavor, mainly strawberry. When it all comes together, it was a good experience. The interior of the story is more dimly lit and felt like a romantic night dinner, despite being the middle of the day. The dishes had a balance of standard and hidden gems. Everything was more than sufficient for two people to share. Service was great and very attentive. Will come back for the Crispy Short Ribs! The fried pork appetizer was AMAZING, especially with the vinegar fish sauce. My friend got the pad see ew with beef, and that was just as good. Everything was packed with flavor (nothing bland at all), portions were solid, and prices were reasonable. Definitely coming back.

First time I got beef pad se ew and it was yummy. I went for early dinner on a Tuesday and the place was empty. The second time I went I got tofu pad Thai and it too was yummy. This time I went for lunch (they have great lunch specials) and the place was busy and buzzing. Note that here they put sautéed purple onions in their pad Thai. I'm used to onions on the dish being green onions. I happen to hate onions so it was a bummer, but I just picked them out and it was fine. Both times I got Thai iced tea, I'm lactose intolerant so can't usually have it. They have oat milk to substitute for the milk. There's a small parking lot with a couple of designated spots and you can enter through the back. There is also street parking nearby.

Shame on me for missing out on their delicious food for sixteen years. I seem to recall back then it was more Thai fusion than it is now. But I have consumed a lot of beer, wine, cocktails in the interim so my brain could be foggy on that account. Nevertheless the food we ate was fantastic. I would love to get bottles of their sauces to cook with at home. The summer wraps are largely lettuce and Thai mint - I prefer having a bit more carrot and cuke in them, but I'm not the boss. The spinach peanut with tofu had epic spinach and tasty tofu. The Chinese broccoli in the Pad See Ew was nice and crisp. I guess there is parking in the lot in the back of the store. Seems to be marked for specific stores. I wonder, does the Spa really get that busy they need that many spots? I didn't see anything reserved for Daisy patrons. But I figured most of the other businesses were not open in the evening. Anyway we didn't get a ticket or towed off the lot.

We ordered: + Cream cheese wontons - the wonton was fried light but crispy, and filling was plentiful. A little pricey without having any imitation crab or green onion in there. (5 for $10.95). + Tom Kah Soup - this tasted pretty good but not like other tom kah soups I've had? The opacity of the soup was a little more transparent. Veggies included tomato, mushrooms, broccoli, and cabbage. + Kang Kiew Wan (Green Curry) - with chicken. First bites were excellent but as you ate on, it was on a saltier side so make sure to have rice on hand. Ordering here, rice is an add on but we cooked some at home so was all good. Besides the wontons, the price to portions of the other items were very good. We ordered through doordash and the price was consistent as what was on their menu too.

Here are my families favorites: Yellow chicken curry (mild) Spicy wings (they have a sweet chili glaze ) Pad Thai combination (with a lil extra sauce) Rad Na noodles (gravy is tasty!) Chicken Satay (ooh that peanut sauce is ) Papaya salad (brings a nice freshness and crunch!) Mango sticky rice (light coconut flavor and light sweetness, so good!) Even for a sit down restaurant, the ambiance is nice here too. Just small inside, so not ideal for large parties. The staff is very friendly too!

A good option for Thai food if you're in the Pasadena area. We really liked the spaciousness of…read morerestaurant. It has a very open feel with the exposed ceiling. We ordered the Pad Thai, eggplant with tofu, green curry, and sizzling beef for our main coarse. Everything was pretty good. The Pad Thai seasoning was light, not overly sweet like other Thai restaurants. The beef however on the sizzling beef dish was a little on the tough side. We ordered the fried banana dish for our desert. This was our least favorite dish. It was cold on the inside and the banana had turned brown so it was not very appetizing to look at once you cut into it. Would probably not order this again. Overall a nice experience. The staff were very nice and attentive and the restaurant was not crowded at all for lunch on a Saturday afternoon.

The restaurant is spacious and clean. They have a lunch special that is pretty limited but portions were amazing. I got the pad thai which was unfortunately lacking in flavor. The red curry was very good though so maybe their specialties are curries? We also got a dumpling appetizer as well but it was pretty whatever.
