Nice new spot for Thai food! Ordered pad thai it had a lot if fried win ton crisps. I would have preferred less crisp abd more noodles. Also ordered fried chicken it came with rice, trued to substitute rice for salad but server says cannot do that. Chicken wings were on the small side but very crispy abd i liked the sauce it came with. Thai ice tea with boba (jelly) was too sweet.

Tom Kha w tofu, fried shrimp rolls!

We are from the Westside of LA, this is sooooo good, recommend it and open late until 9:30 most nights. Great food. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

We've been coming to this spot for years, even back when it had different owners the Thai food was always amazing. We recently decided to try it again under the new ownership, and wow... still absolutely delicious! We ordered the Pad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, and Pineapple Fried Rice. My husband also had a Thai Iced Tea with boba everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. This is officially our go-to Thai food place! The restaurant is small and cozy, with a calm and quiet ambiance. The service was excellent professional, polite, and very attentive. Even the bathroom was spotless, which is always a plus. Highly recommend this gem in Pasadena!

Pad Thai lunch special (with vegetables, no meat)

Excellent food, free parking, never crowded at lunch. Definitely a contender for best quality food!

I dropped off my car for a tire service and had an hour or so to kill. It was close to lunch time so I walked into Beau Thai as I saw the attractive lunch special menu outside the restaurant. I walked in and promptly greeted by the server. It's a quiet and relaxing restaurant for a party of one for lunch. There is a huge variety of items on the menu. I always love pad soon sen and that's what I ordered. The lunch was good and the service was prompt. I enjoyed the quiet lunch and was able to pick up my car immediately after lunch. I'd love to visit again and try other dishes.

Lunch menu is just wow ! Great portion and so tasty . Great service too . Pricing is fair , glad I came here . Totally recommend

This was their basil chicken! A lot of filler and barely any chicken. So disappointing!

See pic, this was their chicken basil. All filler, and barely any chicken. So disappointing!!

Ordered takeout and it was tasty! Food was pipin' hot and filled in the brim. Green curry was by far my favorite dish -- well seasoned with a lot of depth. Pad Thai was missing lime luckily we had lime at home and it helped bring out more of the fish. Prik king was probably the weakest dish. We just didn't really like it. I'd come back to try their food in person because I think it'll taste even better

Found this place randomly while looking for somewhere to eat around town and glad we did! It gives hole in the wall place and there were not a lot of costumers, but that didn't stop the wait staff from being attentive and constantly checking in on us. We got the lunch and the portion size was great! Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I ordered food here last night when we found our regular Thai spot to be closed. The service was really wonderful. They were very accommodating to our gluten sensitivity and were able to adjust dishes accordingly. We got the pad see ew, green curry, and the spring rolls with shrimp. Given our restrictions, they kept sauce off from the pad see ew completely. This is a different approach from our regular spot who just uses different sauces for gf, but we still really appreciated it. It definitely wasn't as flavorful as we are used to, but we are grateful for their care. The green curry was very good. A little bit on the sweeter side, which is not fully my preference, but it was still nourishing and flavorful! The springs rolls are gluten free, but it looked like the peanut sauce had hoisin in it, so I was unable to use it just to be safe. You may need to take extra care and double-check menu items if you have a gluten sensitivity or allergy. This wouldn't be my first pick for Thai places when eating gluten free, but I think those without this dietary need will really enjoy the food and service here!

Food was ready early. Picked it up and brought it home. The flavor was good. The portion size was average. The price was average. Overall pretty good place. I notice Thai restaurants can vary from a bit bland and dry to greasy and strong flavor. This place is on the greasy side and the curry rice had strong flavor. It was a little heavier than we wanted but it was still a nice meal

My server was very attentive and came by to check on me often, even when the restaurant started to get a little busy. My dish was the pad thai with chicken, that came with soup, salad, egg roll. The noodles were delicious, and the egg roll was fresh. The soup was surprisingly filling so I ended up taking most of the lunch home. The prices were very reasonable and I think my food (including Thai Iced Tea) with tip was under $25, which is pretty much a steal. Plus, I love the ambiance (or is it aesthetic as the young ones call it?). It's a very calming place. Highly recommend!

It's a cozy, family-run spot right across from Target, and everything we ordered was packed with fresh, bold flavors that actually taste authentic. The portions are seriously generous--I always end up with leftovers for lunch the next day and it's usually even better the next day! The staff is super friendly and attentive, the vibe is casual and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable, especially compared to some other spots in Pasadena. If you're in the Playhouse District or just craving real Thai food done right, do yourself a favor and stop in. We'll definitely be back soon--it's in our regular rotation of favorite restaurants in Pasadena. Highly recommend. My one and only complaint... they used to offer a dessert called a Croffle. A pastry cross between a croissant and waffle, with bananas, chocolate and whipped cream. It was seriously delicious and I wish they'd bring it back!

Went for an early dinner with my bf. Was greeted so warmly by the staff and seated promptly. We wanted to order some of our typical dishes so we can compare, so we got their Baby Corn Mushroom with Chicken, Green Curry with Sole Filet, and Thai Style Basil Ground Pork with Fried Egg. OMG! They were all gloriously drool-worthily divine!! Likely the most flavorful of these dishes that I've ever tried at a Thai restaurant to date! Completely exceeded all my expectations!! And the portions were so generous! We were so occupied stuffing ourselves silly, that we completely forgot to make room for dessert! And we still had a ton of leftovers to take home! I love this place so much already! Super friendly and attentive staff. Gorgeous decor with an appreciative traditional feel. Limited parking in lot, but it looks like the regulars prefer parking on the street out front when we were leaving. Already planning to return next time our Thai craving hits to try more of their yummy dishes! Highly recommend!!

We waited around 30 minutes to order and get our food and there were quite a few people in the store when we went on a weekend around 7 PM. We ordered the fried rice with chicken and pad Thai. The portions looked relatively small, but filled us up perfectly. We were a party of three but only ordered two entrée since we weren't that hungry. The fried rice was not too salty and was very well balanced, and the cucumbers added an amazing freshness. The pad Thai had a strong acidity to it, but we enjoyed the crispy pork belly it came with. Both of the entrées were not too oily or greasy. The rest of their menu looked amazing and I hope to be back to try it soon. They also have Thai tea which I am a sucker for, so I'll definitely be back to try that too. Overall, I'd recommend this place for some delicious, casual Thai food and good vibes.

I got their Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai and omg... it was lowkey one of the best pad thai I've had in a WHILE. And I don't say that lightly because I'm picky picky when it comes to pad thai. It's literally the one dish I always order at any Thai restaurant, so my standards is kinda up there. But also... this was in the middle of the desert at a music festival so ngl I didn't have high hopes lol. But their Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai was so good!! The flavor was super authentic, spicy, tangy, just hitting all the right notes. The noodles had that perfect chewiness, not clumped together so they know exactly what they doing with their food! The shrimp were big and tasted fresh and all the toppings: bean sprouts, grounded peanuts, and lime, just brought everything together so nicely. Also the staff were super sweet and friendly, and I got my food in likes 5 minutes, gave me more enough time to sit down and enjoy my pad thai while waiting for Sabrina Carpenter's stage setup. Miya's Pad Thai completely won me over at Coachella, it's sooo good to the point where now I actually wanna go visit the real restaurant if I'm ever around the Altadena area.

We ordered the tom yum noodle soup, pork collar, papaya salad, shrimp ceviche, and the captain whatever curry. Unfortunately, the tom yum noodle soup and the curry were especially underwhelming. Both dishes lacked the bold, balanced flavors that define Thai cuisine--there was no real heat, tanginess, sweetness, or depth. When I go to a Thai or Thai-inspired restaurant, I expect vibrant, layered flavors, but what we received tasted muted and almost as if key ingredients were missing. It honestly made me wonder if there had been a mistake in the kitchen. The service didn't help improve the experience. Our server rarely checked in on us--no one asked if we needed napkins or refills, and empty or untouched plates were left sitting on the table far too long. When I brought up the issue with the lack of flavor, there was little acknowledgment and nothing was done to address the concern or make things right. Overall, the combination of bland food and inattentive service made for a frustrating dining experience. Side Note: It should've been obvious to me when I saw that there weren't any Asian patrons that this place would be a disappointment. Shame on this "Michelin-starred" chef.

This time I went for lunch (they have great lunch specials) and the place was busy and buzzing. Note that here they put sautéed purple onions in their pad Thai. I'm used to onions on the dish being green onions. I happen to hate onions so it was a bummer, but I just picked them out and it was fine. Both times I got Thai iced tea, I'm lactose intolerant so can't usually have it. They have oat milk to substitute for the milk. In fact, the photos of the dishes were what initially drew me in and made me want to try the place. Unfortunately, while the presentation looked great, the actual food was underwhelming for me. Fried Tofu - 2.5/5. The Fried Tofu tasted like something premade and reheated rather than freshly prepared. The dipping sauce also felt generic - like a standard sweet-and-hot sauce mixed with crushed peanuts. It was decent, but not memorable. Roti & Curry - 2.5/5. The Roti & Curry had a similar issue. The roti itself seemed reheated from a premade product, and the curry sauce tasted very generic. It lacked any distinct flavor or character that would set it apart from countless other Thai restaurants. Pad Thai - 3/5. The Pad Thai was average at best. For my taste, it leaned far too sweet, and I wished there was more balance and complexity beyond just sweetness. Thai BBQ Chicken - 1.5/5. The biggest disappointment was the Thai B.B.Q. Chicken. Since the menu mentioned "15 minutes," I assumed the chicken would be grilled fresh to order and served hot off the grill. That expectation made me genuinely excited to try it. Unfortunately, the dish that arrived felt like the opposite. The chicken was cold, not freshly grilled, and the meat tasted stale rather than tender and juicy. It honestly seemed like it had been cooked earlier and reheated before serving. On top of that, the flavor itself was surprisingly bland. Overall, the food tasted like what you would find at many generic Thai restaurants, where the dishes feel standardized and lacking individuality. Nothing particularly stood out in terms of flavor or freshness. While the ambiance and presentation were good, the food didn't live up to the expectations created by the reviews and photos.
