I will be the first to admit that I probably ordered wrong here, but I ordered the lavender lemonade. It was shocking that by the time I ordered my drink and paid for it, the drink was already done. So I grabbed my drink and made the assumption that it's Trader Joe's lemonade with a flavor shot. Not saying it's bad, but not worth the price. I was also disappointed to find out that there's no bathroom here (if there was, it wasn't obvious). With so many places around Pasadena, I'll probably skip this place if I had the choice

First sip of their amaretto orange latte sent Lavender and Honey right to the top for my California vacation espresso extravaganza! Only matched by Jones Coffee and Red Shift, this is one special spot doing the baristas of the world proud. We all enjoyed a quick Sunday morning take out but were confused why they did not have the other drinks ready but waited on everything for us to show up to begin the toast to ensure that was fresh. Small matter since we had time and this space is easy to enjoy. Wish I could've stayed! Need to move to California for sure.

I love lavender and I love honey! The drinks are consistently delicious and pretty. I love that they have homemade syrups and really couldn't decide between the drinks on their seasonal lineup. Hmmmm...pumpkin spice or fig cardamom or Cara Cara Orange Almond? Or even Apple Pie Matcha if you're in the tea mood! More of what I love are their fresh and delicious pastries. The service comes with a big smile! I also love supporting Dena businesses. It is on very busy Washington Boulevard and it is still a chill place to enjoy your morning Java. Cheers to a great week!

Was originally heading to my go to matcha spot and saw this on the way. The name caught my attention so I decided to try a new place and I'm glad I did! FOOD/DRINKS 4.5/5 Apple Pie Matcha with oat milk 5/5 - it's a seasonal drink and it's nice and refreshing, smooth, and sweetened just the right amount. It's an easy drink to slow sip and enjoy. Tasted like there might be cider at play and I'm about it! Prosciutto Fig Sandwich 4/5- the fig jam is TO DIE FOR. I'm very happy I got this sandwich. The combination of prosciutto and fig is delicious. DESSERT 5/5 Gluten Free Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie- OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!! If you are or aren't gluten free and you love carrot cake GET THIS DESSERT IMMEDIATELY!!! It is flavorful, perfectly sweetened, the perfect texture that's reminiscent of an oatmeal cream pie regarding the soft texture. It could literally just melt in your mouth. SERVICE 5/5 I thought it was a little extra personal touch to have your drinks served in different cups for here, and to go. If you get it for here it comes in a glass jar, and for to go it is in plastic. Hannah was so kind, patient, and very helpful and informative. I explained that I'd never been here before and she talked me through recommendations for everything telling me some of the most popular items for food, drinks, and desserts. I didn't try their matcha with lavender and honey that they're known for because I wanted to get the seasonal drink, so I'll be back for the other one. AMBIANCE (loved it) Such a pretty and cutesy place. There's music playing and fairy lights, flowers, honey, and tea all about. They also had the cutest cups and mugs. It's a nice place to come and have lunch in a relaxed and friendly environment. (note: they don't have WiFi). HONORABLE MENTION I so very much loved that this location had a big designated parking lot literally on the side of the building. ALSO, I decide to have the gluten free version of the sandwich and the carrot whoopie pie and was BLOWN AWAY by how soft and moist the bread, and pie were. Apparently they get their pastries and bread fresh every morning from Rising Hearts. You can literally TASTE that they were made with love. So many wonderful things to say about my experience here. If you've not been by I encourage you to give it a try. There's something there for everyone. The service is AMAZING and the food is tasty.

I love L&H and usually come here for a latte or drip coffee! The brown sugar latte or honey latte is really good and always dependable. I also enjoy their pastries, especially the ham & cheese croissant and almond croissant. Prices are reasonable, the workers are friendly and they have indoor and outdoor seating. It's the cutest coffee shop!

Inside the shop it's cozy, a nice place to catchup with friends, especially when it's raining. They have a variety of products from T-shirts to local vendors for pie fillings & chili oils. They have all of their seasonal drinks right there at the register, easy to read. We are 1st timers... I wasn't sure what to order, then decided on the REAL PSL- (pumpkin spice latte) I must state a disclaimer (I'm not a real coffee drinker) so with that being said if you love coffee, this is the place for you! I love that L& H does not use any artificial ingredients and they use local vendors for their organic supply. My friend is a coffee drinker & he ordered salted Carmel latte, and enjoyed the flavor but really enjoyed the coffee taste. I will back to try some other items on the menu.

Super friendly and helpful service. It was pretty busy when I got there but they tried to be quickly without rushing people. (I had some questions about some treats for relatives who are gluten free. When the cashier was unsure of the answer she asked someone else and was able to answer the question.) The matcha latte was really tasty (tried with no sweetness). I also had a sip off of the Apple Pie Matcha and that one was really sweet, but the person who ordered loved it.

Delicious pumpkin spice latte and cardamom fig latte! Yum!

Lavender and Honey is a wonderful coffee oasis on Washington in Pasadena. There are welcoming tables both inside and out. Today we ordered a Cardamom Fig Latte and Pumpkin Spice Latte. These were both flavorful, lusciously sweet, and refreshing. There were many other temptations available that will live in our minds for now, ready to populate our future orders. Yay!

Very tasty and fresh tasting ingredients . I had the honey lavender iced latte which was very yummy as was the California "club" sandwich. Friendly service and had tables inside and outside.

I used to come here after a hike (before the fires) and it was always a pleasant treat after a stroll in nature. It is adorned with flowers everywhere. They have seating inside and outdoors. It can get pretty chilly inside, no matter what the time of year so I usually prefer to sit outside unless it's too hot by the time I get there or I have a sweater with me. Their menu is pretty straight-forward, they do have delicious pastries, sandwiches, and such. This last time I went it I grabbed an iced Honeybee Latte with whole milk. It was just sweet enough. I do wish the espresso was stronger but the honey made up for it. While I was there, there was people coming in and out nonstop. You can tell there are a lot of locals and regulars that visit. The staff are interactive with their customers and do a great job of making everyone feel welcome and part of their coffee family. Definitely add it to your list if you're in the area :)

First of all, it's very cute in there. I went at about 11:45 am and made it just before the lunch crowd poured in. By the time I left, the line was out the door and I see why. It was my very first time being here and I ordered a very refreshing peach tea and a turkey avocado sandwich which siracha mayo. They said it's on country white bread but it looks like wheat to me, unless they ran out of white and didn't tell me lol. But that aside, everything was soooo fresh and crisp and delicious. And the sandwich was pretty sizable too. I also ordered a cinnamon roll, but I haven't tried it yet because I'm too full from the giant sandwich. I would've taken better pics but I didn't want to offend anyone in the shop. And I took my food to go, so sorry you get to see them in boxes. But I would definitely recommend this place, the have such a great menu and many delectable treats to choose from.

    Delicious lattes.

Just like the poetic cafe name suggests, this place really is refreshing and sweet. A quaint coffee shop with signature honey-infused lattes and mouthwatering selection of gourmet toast and outdoor seating on a beautiful sunny LA day - what more can you ask for? I've visited this cafe twice now and every time I meet up with a dear friend, we indulge in their lattes and toast. This time I tried the peach and honey toast - yummy! I only wish the toast slice was a little bigger so there is more to savor. Free on-site parking is available but limited. The baristas took their time making the food and lattes, which is worth the wait and the cashier was patient as my friend and I tried to narrow down our selection from a delicious sounding menu. They have a selection of food items and branded merchandise for purchase, as well. Considering it's a local favorite spot, seating may be harder to come by. Enjoy!

Sandwiches, pastries, and specialty toasts are on the menu along with coffee and tea. We tried the avocado toast and the peanut butter honey toast. Both delicious and quite filling for breakfast. Friendly neighborhood atmosphere. The shop has a few tables inside, but the line to order at the counter makes it a bit crowded. We enjoyed our food and drinks at one of the two tables outside the front door by the sidewalk. Parking lot beside the shop or on the street. Gift cards available.

The dairy milk options are organic, so is the yogurt in the parfaits. I think all the produce is also organic, I've seen it's delivered from Nature's Produce.

Do they have indoor seating during Covid?

Yes. It's a small shop so seating is limited.

Do they have gluten free bread option for the toast?

Yes! We have sliced GF brioche for toast, as well as GF rosemary ciabatta for sandwiches. We also have a variety of GF/vegan pastries & cookies, all from Rising Hearts Bakery. Thanks for asking!

Can I buy the shirts online or do I have to physically be there?

I believe you have to physically be in the store in order to purchase a shirt.

So I decided on the squares cause I love those slices! I went with Pepperoni Grandma and a Pepperoni Honey DeNiro. The staff will heat it up for you on the oven and even cut slices in half to enjoy them. I loved the flavors and the crisp edges. It had a great crunch in each bite and taste was solid. My favorite of the too was the Pepperoni Honey DeNiro. The hot honey on this slice made this option stand out to me. The mix of sweet and savory paired with heat is my kind of combo of flavor. :) I would come back again if I'm craving pizza and would think of the trying a sandwich too in the future because their menu looked good. This past Friday (Good Friday), my mother went in to buy groceries for Easter and approached the meat deli to have a piece of steak sliced. She politely asked the elderly Armenian man working behind the counter for assistance. Instead of helping, he immediately responded with multiple excuses--saying he was too busy, had inventory to manage, and other customers to attend to. He asked her to wait an hour, and she kindly agreed. However, while she waited, he continued helping other customers--specifically men--with similar requests. Confused and understandably frustrated, my mother asked why her request couldn't be handled as well. His response was shocking. He looked at her and said, "Do you know tomorrow is Easter?" When my mother replied sarcastically, "No," he responded in Armenian: "What kind of Armenian are you?" That comment was completely inappropriate, disrespectful, and unacceptable--especially in a store that prides itself on serving the Armenian community. No customer should be spoken to that way, let alone made to feel judged or insulted for simply asking for service. It's deeply upsetting that within our own community, a customer can be treated with such disregard. Especially during an important holiday, this is when kindness, respect, and proper customer service should be at their highest--not replaced with hostility and discrimination. I truly hope management addresses this behavior, because no one should leave feeling disrespected in a place that is supposed to feel like home.
