Great market with lots of Middle Eastern options. They have local baked good from other LA County purveyors. The staff were all very friendly. The store was VERY clean with a modern design. the service is excellent friendly and professional prompt, the ambience is so well organized exceptionally tidy and remarkably clean and the food be it the fresh butcher cuts for the prepared array of mid=eastern delights are a cut above any other deli or market I know of in L.A. county. the fruits and green groceries are also of the highest quality, in this current era of contaminated foodstuffs it's a real gem of a market thats a 1 stop for all of my needs. lastly, the PRICES are what food should cost, what a relief not to be gouged at checkout and they carry a vast array of juices such as seabuckthorn juice and nectar. oh and the treats of candies and jams and jellies is a treasure. First impression is that this is a hidden jewel. As I stepped into this pleasant surprise of a market, I was in awe of how beautifully laid out it was. The first thing you're going to see in the forefront is fresh produce. I mean really FRESH-looking produce. There were even olives in this section. Those babies looked like they were recently freshly picked. To the far right was a refrigerated section that I did not explore today. Instead, I opted to walk straight ahead to the meat cases. Beautiful marinated chicken wings, pork rib-lets and pork belly greeted me as I walked into protein bliss. The meat offerings were abundant!! In addition, there was a selection of marinated olives, cheeses, salmon and even pastries (located in front of the cold cases). Gaspar, (I'm not sure what his role is there) was so warm and welcoming. He assured me that I will not find better marinated meats. I bought the spicy wings. Will try to update my review with the verdict on those once I air fry them. In the meantime, we must support our local small businesses. This place is inviting and you will likely walk away with something delectable. Give them a try. read more

While a neighboring "famous" Armenian store is not very friendly, small, and always crowded, Pasadena marketplace is the opposite: They have more choices for Midle Eastern groceries lined up in a bright and organized fashion.Everything is neat and get their special lahmajoun from Pamos bakery daily. I needed some shelled walnuts, Aleppo pepper and red pepper paste for a " muhamara". They had everything, gave me a pack of lahmajoun with a smile. 5 stars all the way. read more

I have been coming to this market for years. I even came here when it used to be a very mini market. The previous owners were great, but years later they sold it to a family that has made it bigger and better than ever. The employees are all great and friendly. The produce, deli, cheese and all products is always fresh. They have all kinds of international products as well. They remodeled the old store beautifully. Parking is crazy. Be careful pulling out. Please be patient with the cashier, her English is a bit rough. I thought she was being rude because I was talking and talking and she just stared at me. I finally figured it out when I was paying.( Oops) Anyway, I used to come to the old market for the fancy mixed nuts. I go here often than the other Armenian markets around my area,they have great customer service.great and fresh produce all the employees are nice and friendly and always helpful when you have anything to ask Also the prices are less than other markets around. They have box of strawberry's which is really sweet and cheap,I've once tried the sandwiches the turkey sandwich which was really good and they bake the bread And my sandwich was ready In 25 minutes which is good! Incredible produce in this small shop. The only time I've dared buy fresh figs from a store. (Usually I wait until my parents' tree is fruiting.) Do us a favor, show this place some love, buy stuff, keep it open. They also make sandwiches, which my wife was raving about (and she's hard to please). This mom and pop market is a gem! I wandered in by chance a couple days ago and was thrilled to find an impeccably clean and well-stocked grocery store with produce prices better than Whole Foods and TJs. I purchased fresh dill, an avocado, tangerines, hot house cucumbers, carrots, and cream for under $7. I'm planning on doing the bulk of my weekly shopping here from now on.
