I just took the few things that were already prepared and left. I had called earlier, and nobody told me that I needed to come at a certain time or call ahead. If you don't want to serve customers at that time, simply communicate it or change your hours. Don't treat a paying customer like they are bothering you. He also refused to prepare the steak the way they normally do. When I got home, the steak had completely lost its shape because of the way he handled and packed it. And because he didn't want to do the work, he brought the entire sealed bag out. That was actually the first time I saw the packaging for the filet mignon myself: an Australian vacuum-sealed bag. I had always been told the meat was fresh from a nearby farm and zabihah. Seeing that sealed Australian packaging for the first time was shocking to me!! The only issue I've had over the years was one of the older guys behind the counter charging us for something much more expensive than what we actually asked for, and we had to drive all the way back to get a refund. Not sure what the deal was since we ran into him when getting the refund and he seemed annoyed rather than apologetic lol. But! Aside from that, everyone's great. When they're busy, grab a number from the corner and they'll call. There's a great selection in the case of just about every type of meat including fresh seafood. Bought a slab of Icelandic cod today as well because it looked so nice. If you order a lot, they'll ring you up in the back, otherwise they'll let you bring it to the front checkout to pay.
