7:30PM June 19, 2026…read more Meat To Go! Do you like barbecuing? How about just making your own fresh dishes at home? Need something to make your hot pot or barbecue special? This is the place! Just keep in mind that everything is high quality & with high quality means you are spending extra cash money $$$. This lowkey spot is facing the north bound side of las tunas close to a dominoes pizza. In between Ardmore Dr & Santa Anita St. Across from a hospital(San Gabriel Medical Center) Right next to Dumplings To Go[They have good dumplings there too]. Parking should be easy on Las Tunas but if it looks packed then you can easily go to the back between Ardmore dr & Santa Anita behind dominos and walk around to their only entrance in the front. Once inside on your right you will see all the different choices of food from cuts like A5 Japanese Wagyu to lamb skewers. They also have tofu, mushrooms, condiments and other hotpot essentials. They accept both cash and card inside. No restrooms. Just buy what you like and go. All of their quality meats are your average tastiness; food tastes better than your regular grocery stores. During summer you can find their Summer Skewer Special only on Fridays Saturdays & Sundays in the back. I between believe their hours are 3PM-8PM some times they open later like 9PM CASH ONLY for this special time. I been coming here for two years for their ribeyes by snake rivers farm and angus prime. Well now since they started their skewers cook out, I had to suggest to them(last week) to have their Wagyu skewers. bomb! They specialize is fresh meat to go. They just added wet aged wet two months ago. tender! Thank you Tim for being such a good man! Renata you are great grill master.

You go in, pick the raw skewers you want from their huge selection, and they pack everything fresh for you. They've got a wide variety of meats and marinades, so it's easy to mix and match and try different flavors in one meal. Everything looks fresh and well seasoned, and once you get it on the grill it gives you that legit street BBQ skewer feel at home. It's perfect for gatherings or a weekend cookout because all the hard work is already done for you. The only downside is the price. It adds up pretty quickly, especially when you start grabbing multiple skewers because there are so many good options. Definitely more of a special occasion or group meal type of place rather than an everyday buy. Still, for the quality, convenience, and the variety they offer, it's a really fun and unique spot when you're craving skewers and want something different from the usual.

Clean and quaint little small business butcher shop run by a Korean elderly couple. It was my first…read moretime at Angus Meat Market. For the convenience, the meat is more expensive than the grocery store (e.g., Ktown) but I don't think it is a huge dealbreaker. Frankly, their meat prices are now the same as similar meat cuts sold at grocery stores since food costs have gone up. Plus there is this nice feeling of supporting local and knowing the money is going fully to a family versus a big corporation like a grocery store chain. Upon entering the store, there were fridges filled with meat cuts in the middle and left side of the shop. The right hand side had some daily items like cooking supplies and some food. Everything was clean and organized with clear labels and prices. Majority of the meats were frozen and the only unfrozen meats were a small selection in the center where the counter was. I can see where some reviewers didn't like the meat being mostly frozen but this is a small storefront in a strip mall. If you're in the area or don't want to deal with the traffic and parking issues (e.g., street parking, valet or spending minimum of $35 or more for limited parking time) in Ktown for marginally cheaper meat, definitely give Angus Meat Market a try. The husband threw in a scallion salad for free.

Their service is one of the main reasons I come here - they always accommodate your seat preference, be it request to be by the window, or in the shade, or in a booth. The staff is always attentive and friendly. Food: steak is great, but they also have other excellent options such as beef carpaccio, street tacos, and charcuterie. They also have one of the best kids menus which even includes filet mignon for little ones! Drinks: great selection of wines by the glass and bottle; they also have a wide selection of draft beer which I enjoyed. I believe they have a special cocktail that is suggested by the bartender as well. Last time I was there on Saturday with my 4 year old daughter and suddenly didn't feel well and was dizzy. Staff helped me tremendously by sitting me in a booth in the shade and accommodating my cold water requests. I truly appreciated how much attention they provided, thank you very much to every member of staff that worked at Meat on Ocean last Saturday over lunch. I will be definitely returning here.

We called ahead to let the staff know we were running late and they responded with yeah that's no problem when we got there the restaurant was just about empty and we immediately knew why. On one of the most hottest days this restaurant has no central air. While the food and drinks were great, it was really hard to enjoy it being surrounded by heat. We were sitting in the middle of the restaurant so not close to where the patio is but we were all still really hot.

After calling multiple butcher shops, this was the only place I found that actually carried them. We ended up getting a whole beef femur bone for only $13, which was an amazing price. Can't wait to give it to our dog, and we'll definitely be back for more. If you're a dog owner like us, that's another reason to check this place out. I believe the girl I spoke with over the phone also mentioned that they offer both raw and smoked beef knuckle bones for dogs. She even cut the bones the way we wanted it Great service, great prices, and definitely worth the drive for us.

The staff here are super friendly and great and helping first time customers. They're all willing to find the answer to your question even if they don't know themselves. Butchers are onsite for custom processing and speciality cuts. Really charming bit of old chino, hoping they stick around for decades to come. They do all my custom animal-share processing and do a great job, looking forward to another perfect Christmas ham.
