Inside is nice, tidy, and neat. They have a large assortment of dry goods and bottled items, as well as a decent amount of marinated meats. It's all ready-to-go stuff; just grab it and fire it up the grill/oven/air fryer, and you've got yourself a savory, flavorful Mediterranean meal. Even worse were the sides: the rice was the lowest quality I've ever had, the pita bread was dry like cardboard, and the hummus was totally tasteless. We showed up a few minutes before closing and the guy at the counter was still so warm and welcoming! No stress, no side-eyes, just good convo and big family energy. He even said hi to our toddler, who was out here living her best life walking around the store while holding a packet of coriander seeds. Grabbed the lemon garlic chicken wings, luleh beef, beef tekeh, cucumber yogurt, and their new chicken salad. They had us sample the salad and omg it was so good. Gave me major Manila childhood flashbacks. We took everything home to cook since they were about to close and couldn't cook anymore. The luleh? Iconic. Perfectly seasoned. The beef tekeh was tender and juicy. The wings? Popped them in the air fryer and they came out chef-level delicious. Have been coming here for years. I have bought meat to grill at home but when I don't have time, I will call ahead and order meat and ask them to grill it for me. Minimum 1 lb per type of meat, beef tenderloin, chicken thigh, beef lule are delicious. The chicken family meal is great too. It's a marinated spatchcocked chicken they grill for you and place on top of potatoes and served with pita, garlic sauce, and pickled veggies. Can't go wrong! read more

He even offered to season my dad's meat fir free when my dad asked what his seasoning/cooking recommendations were fir lamb chops. Honestly you get what you pay for wherever you go. That being said Garni is not cheap but the quality is what you are getting. The shop does not smell of meat and is kept very clean. We come to this place to pickup fresh raw meat to cook for our family gatherings. This time we called to put in the order for my dad's birthday and to our surprise they had cooked the meat!...? Huh? I drove by this place and it caught my eye and came back the next day to explore. Right away when I walked in, another client was going on about all of the delicious items they offer - she recommended the marinated chicken thighs - and apparently you can always put an order ahead of time to have them cook it up for you as well. The owner was so very sweet and knowledgeable - you definitely need to chat with him to get all the info on everything he offers. I ended up taking home marinated chicken thighs and some chicken Luleh meat to cook at home, a box of Kosher salt and a small container of a sauce that I hadn't seen before - called Adjika. He explained to me that it's roasted veggies blended together and that it's very tasty. He was not kidding. The adjika was so delicious and powerful tasting - he said it's great for sandwiches - I ended up using it to dress a bean salad. Man oh man...My buddy told me about this place and finally went there. The owner and his family are so nice! The shop is clean, organized and the prices rock! There are so many choices and he was willing to sell the meat by the 1/2 pound. We got 4 lamb chops, 1/2 pound of chicken breast and 1/2 pound of chicken thighs...some fresh hummus, lavash and garlic spread. And the best part is that it was half of what I would normally pay at a restaurant for the same thing! I grilled it today and opted not to put them on skewers. I just placed them on a smaller grate. All of the marinated meats were delicious! All of them were tender and flavorful...well, the tenderness comes partially from the cook...me. They will also cook the meat for you but you have to call in ahead of time and the cost is only $1 more per pound! That's a deal! We will definitely be back for the beef that's supposed to taste like filet...pork belly, wings and lulah. I highly recommend. Call first to see if they are busy. Excellent meats fresh or marinated. I stopped by to get some marinated meats for grilling but saw he had some great looking tomahawk steaks; I had to get one. The steak was grass fed and had a nice amount of marble. Took it home and cooked it; it melted in our mouths. It wasn't cheap at $13.99 a pound but it definitely was not overpriced. My recommendation on cooking: Rub olive oil, crushed garlic, thyme and some rosemary. Overnight in the fridge. Wipe off the herbs before cooking Season generously with salt and pepper Either grill it on high flame or a very hot cast iron pan to sear ( no more than 30 sec to a minute on each side - all 4 sides). Pop it in the preheated 325 degree oven (on a rack in a pan) until the internal temp at near but not at the bone is about 108 to 110 degrees for medium rare. Let it rest for 10 minutes before carving. All the marinated meats like the pork belly, chicken thighs, lemon chicken wings were all awesome. The chicken lule was a little on the salty side. Best of all, I don't need to drive all the way to Burbank to get my kabob meats anymore. read more
