First time going here and I heard of lot of good things about it. They work really fast so even if there's a line it goes by quickly. Food: we ordered tacos, burritos, and a quesadilla with a strawberry Fresca and horchata. Food was decent nothing out of this world. The meat that was given on the tacos was a lot though! They had a variety of sauces that you can use as well as grilled onions and charred jalapeños. Seating: There's no seating provided so bring your own or bring it home. It's near a construction site/ place with a lot of dirt or dust so that was a minus. Prove: There's no menu so there's really no telling how much anything was, we got the strawberry Fresca, 3 tacos, a burrito and a quesadilla which ended up being $43, which personally is a bit expensive. Overall: nothing really stood out to me. It just has all the typical things that other taco places have, the lack of seating, area of choice, lack of a menu with clear prices really deter me from coming again. If you really enjoy this place I would recommend togo and just eat at home and ask for the price of everything you want to make sure it matches.

Asada & Al Pastor Tacos

I've always passed by this busy stand, so got to finally try it out on a Friday night! There was a line, but it wasn't too long of a wait. I'm just glad you don't have to go all the way to LA for street tacos. We got to try the asada and al pastor tacos. Each were $3. They add a heft amount of meat on it. The garnishes on the side were luckily pretty clean, so you can load up as much. First few bites, it's a bit too salty but still pretty delicious. Very flavorful. Solid spot for street tacos!

Still coming here a couple times a month and the tacos are still solid. Lately I've been pulling up on Tuesdays because they do a deal, 2 tortas for $12 with any meat. I usually go with one tripas and one asada. They're a decent size and definitely fill you up. Most of the time I'll eat one for dinner and save the other for lunch the next day, so it's actually a pretty good deal. One tip, bring cash. They charge extra fees if you use a card. Also, the line gets pretty long now... guess the secret is definitely out. Still a good spot for street style tacos!

Came back after over 4 months of waiting. Still consistently amazing and good. Big fire on the al pastor. Meat is nicely flavor and juicy and hot off the fire Nicely grilled Quality homemade tortilla Amazing sauces and sides Four tacos for $12 Long line but pretty fast movement Street parking along the side, easy Highly recommend

Suadero and Tripas

Came here on a Sunday around 9pm. Line was about 8-10 people deep. They accept cash and card (pretty sure they charge a fee on top) They have one person on Al Pastor, another on quesadillas and another on tacos for other meats. When we got there only Al Pastor, Suadero, and Tripas were available. I really wanted to try the Cabeza and Asada but I'll have to do that next time. My wife said the Al Pastor was good, the tripas and suadero were decent as well. The meat to tortilla ratio is perfect and the tortilla held its shape. I think I'd come back to try again for the other meats. As far as pricing goes, it was $3/taco and I was charged $23.99 total for 7 tacos. Not sure if the $2.99 up charge was because I used credit card or tax but it seemed more than just typical sales tax.

Tried this taco stand on a Saturday night while visiting the 626. The line was long! It look about an hour by the time I got my food. Just keep that in mind. Everyone parks up the street near the stand. There are no lights, table, or chairs, so this is definitely an "eat-in-your-car" type spot. True street food. While the wait was long, the tacos were very good and I would say worth the wait if you have the time. I really liked how they do handmade tortillas here. You can see the tortilla maker in the back pressing the dough. Incredibly fresh. The meat was good -- I got the al pastor and lengua. The al pastor was bomb, but the lengua was a bit plain and needed some seasoning. I wish they had a menu or list of all the meats they provide but I am assuming they have all of your main fixings here. Tacos were $2.50 and drinks were $6. Great spot for authentic tacos. Just be prepared to wait and eat in the dark.

Carne Asada (beef) taco & Al Pastor (flame grilled marinated pork) taco after visit to the condiment bar!

This is a great street vendor spot in the SGV for tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and even baked potatoes! What makes this place a little different asides from its own popularity, is that this taco stand partners with a churro stand ( Alex's Churros) right next to it selling excellent fried-to-order churros, fried oreos, plantains and more! As you drive up, there usually is a line of folks waiiting to place their orders, but the line moves fairly quickly, so think fast and be ready! Parking is available on the side street just down from the corner. Like most legit Al Pastor places, the pork is cooked on the Trompo ( a big rotating column of pork that is cooked on a LARGE flame, and cut and served to order. The Al Pastor was quite moist and flavorful, as was the Asada Taco we had. Big self-serve condiment bar to load up on the salsa of your choice plus limes, onion, radish, etc.. No seating here, so just stand around and eat and enjoy the vibe! I look forward to coming back here anytime!

As of mar 2026 tacos are $3 and burrito with cheese is $14. The burrito was amazing. The line is so long now. I like the al pastor meat the most. I tried the chicken but it was super dry. They also only had lemon instead of lime. Not a fan of lemon with tacos.

4 tacos: 2 al pastor, 2 suadero

Was craving tacos, found this gem and already can't wait to be back! I ordered the Al pastor and suadero tacos + a large horchata. 4 tacos and a drink for $16! Fresh tortillas are being made in the back, al pastor on the fire and the other delicious meats are being grilled on the black top. They offer grilled spicy jalapeños and onions and a full condiments/salsa bar which are all self-serve and suitable for to-go as well. The guys working the grill were very communicative and nice. The ladies working the register were also nice and offered to wrap/cover my plate of tacos for my to-go order. You'll find them on a small corner with string lights around their tent. No seating so take it home, to the park, or eat in the car!

Carne Asada Burrito.

Everytime I drive by here, I see a long line. This secret taco spot isn't as much of a secret spot anymore. We finally came by to try it out and the line moved fairly quick. For our family of four, we ordered 2 Lengua Tacos, 2 Al Pastor Tacos ($2.50 each), Carne Asada Burrito ($12), and Al Pastor Baked Potato ($15). There a mini plastic bags to fill up on all the toppings like onions, cilantro, pickled vegetables, cucumbers, radishes, and 4 types of hot sauces. Fair warning, their sauces are pretty spicy! This was more than enough food for us and came with plenty of meat. I didn't care for the burrito as much though, but everything else was superb.

David L.

Not so secret secret taco. One of the best tacos in the SGV. The flavors are there, the amount of meat you get for the price is spot on. Definitely recommend the Al pastor tacos. It's so flavorful and tender. The Lengua has great flavor also, great texture and chew to it. The homemade salsa is great, but not really needed with how flavorful the meats are seasoned. Also highly reccomend the strawberry milk - it tastes like melted strawberry ice cream. It's delicious as well as their horchatas. Come early, line does get long, and they don't have a menu so come prepared in what to order.

Came here with my husband and a friend. For 2.50 a taco, great deal. Meats: MUST get the al pastor. I would get 2 each of those per person, minimum. My husband enjoyed the lengua flavor. Lengua texture was ok. Asada and Cabeza were nice and smoky. Buche is a pass. Just alright, had better. Sauces/sides: Amongst the regular onion/cilantro/raddish, they have pickled cucumber here. Their sauces are on the spicier side. I just stick to the green sauces. Bring your own wet wipes. It gets messy and there's nowhere to eat so you gotta head back to your car. Great spot though. I'll be back!

Came here with some friends on a random weekday night, and the place was pretty lively. The person handling the al pastor was trick shotting the pineapple onto the tortilla, which is how I knew the food was going to be good. The al pastor was super juicy, and the pineapple added a nice sweetness that balanced everything out perfectly. I also tried the lengua (beef tongue) taco and the suadero (brisket) taco, and both were delicious.

This taco truck is conveniently located right in front of the school parking lot so you can park…read morethere and then order at the truck. They have a bench out as well so you can sit there. I already came here for tacos multiple times already but felt like trying something new so I got the California Burrito. They didn't give a receipt but I am guessing it is around $12-13. And I think the tacos are now around $2.50-$2.70. They take card and cash but I believe card has tax. They have the salsas and onions/cilantro out in the table in front of the truck so you can grab yourself while waiting for the food. The food took around 10 minutes are so which wasn't bad. The California burrito was nice and big and very delicious. It comes with steak fries inside with your choice of pork or beef. I went with pork after asking the lady which one she recommended. And it was good! There is also some sauce but I couldn't tell if there was any guacamole. Maybe there was but very little. But the thicker fries was just a perfect combination with the pork and sauce. The only thing lacking is a bit more meat to balance out the fries and some guacamole. I tried a California burrito at another taco truck before but this one is so much better! I will be getting this again and try the beef. I totally recommend this taco truck for tacos and burritos! They taste authentic but just a bit pricer for the tacos. I would say it is more worth on Taco Tuesdays when it is cheaper. This is my go-to taco truck spot.

It's across the street from Ducks. Hard to miss their truck when they're there. I would be careful of any illegal u-turns as there's also a police station nearby. I normally get tacos but their nachos, fries, dirty dog, and flautas are really good! They also have weekly specials. I haven't tried their fish tacos, burritos, or tortas yet but im assuming they wouldn't disappoint. Their sauce bar is basic but has everything you need. Their to-go cups are at the pick up window, probably to help with waste. I dont think their sauces are very spicy but they're fine. My fave is their salsa verde. They're open late which is nice after events. They're fast and super nice! the line can get long at times. 4/5. Would come back again.

I had driven by this place countless times when working in that area but never tried it…read more One day about 2 months ago, at the stop sign beside it, I kept staring at the big photo/sign saying FISH TACOS $2.49 each. I was starving. I parked and went in. I ordered 2 fish tacos and the cook instantly got 2 FRESH (not frozen) larger than expected, fish fillets, THEN dipped them into HOMEMADE BATTER right in front of me and dropped them into the fry basket. Where will you ever see that nowadays? They were ready almost instantly, and were done perfect Baja style, with lots of that good salty mayo+crema white sauce. THEY WERE AWESOME. And BIG. And would have cost WAY MORE at any other place...for $5. Really satisfying, I was NOT hungry after 2 of them. Since then I have probably been there 7 times, the quality has never varied. And they make all their own salsas, etc. I have even taken jobs down in that area just so I can eat there! ;-) The only other thing I have tried is taco de lengua, it was equally excellent, with LOTS of meat, not some skimpy little street taco thing. But just go there and see what $5 will get you with the fish tacos, this has to be the best deal in today's food world that I have found and I work all over the San Gabriel Valley and eat at dozens of places. Its not fancy though, old school with lots of handmade cardboard signs showing lots of other dishes, but this is the ambiance you will find in some of the BEST mom and pop type cafe's. The ratio of deliciousness and quality to price is insanely in favor of the customer!!

Street parking only. Service is friendly, prompt. No frills but appears authentic enough. There are about 20 indoor seating (booths & tables). The cafe is fairly clean. Our order was ready in a jiffy. Got fresh salsa from the counter along with pickled carrots, onions & jalapeños. Not bad but the menudo lacked depth & richness, so did the albondigas. Overall a good experience at least once.
